The most-watched criminal trial of 2012 could be the case of a young woman accused of a horrific crime.

Jodi Arias is charged with shooting and stabbing her ex-boyfriend to death in his Mesa, Arizona, home in 2008. Prosecutors say the 31-year-old went to Travis Alexander's home, shot him in the face, stabbed him 27 times and slit his throat from ear to ear.

Some of his closest friends found Alexander’s body in his shower. Taylor Searle told Jane Velez-Mitchell that he immediately suspected Jodi of the murder. "That was the first thing to my mind is that, 'oh my gosh, Jodi actually killed him.'"

As 20-year-old Dallin Forrest climbed the stairs of Travis Alexander’s five-bedroom Mesa home, he was filled with a sinking sense of dread.

It had been days since anyone had heard from Travis, and during that time he hadn’t responded to numerous emails, text messages or phone calls. Even more unsettling, Travis’ car was parked in his garage, and his wallet, credit cards, laptop and cell phone were still in his office downstairs. Yet, there was no sign of Travis himself.

Defense attorneys for Jodi Arias, the Arizona woman accused of murdering her former boyfriend, Travis Alexander, presented emails today between the couple in which Alexander called his former lover a "****" and crude sexually offensive names.

The couple were so distrustful of each other that they shared their online passwords, Arias told Flores in a recorded phone call shortly after Alexander's slashed and bloodied body was found.

"He gave me his Facebook password and MySpace and I gave him my Facebook and Gmail account. Reason we did that [is] because we thought, 'What can we do to reestablish trust?'" she said. "It didn't work."

I'm watching it and I think she is so freaking guilty of first degree murder and to say it's self defense?? Uhh I don't think so! I think she snapped the picture of him in the shower to disorient him and then started stabbing! And I think she was going to give him one last chance to change his mind and want to be with her and when he didn't she was all set. I feel horrible..if you read his blogs and you can see the memorial video his friends made about him. It really breaks my heart. This woman is NUTS and definately deserves the death penalty..IMO! And she does look like she watched how Casey acted and looked and is trying to do the same thing!

I too get a Casey feeling about her....I think she has taken some of Casey's phony hi-jinks and trying to sway the jury....I have a feeling that they won't be as blinded though.....both have serious mental issues.

I'll be watching or at least listening to it. I also read tweets on my way home since it's still on when I have to catch the train. I just can't get over anyone doing this to another person. If a man did this to a woman they would be DONE. What's so sad about this whole case is the domestic violence defense. What an insult to all those women who really are victims of dv and do kill their tormentor in self defense.

Watching that interview with Det Flores was like watching a television show! Seriously I LOVED it when he said we have pictures and she said Are you sure it's me? But how weird is it that she wanted to see the photo's because it was "morbid curiosity"? I accidentally saw some of the pictures and the ones of him dead are awful! And even watching him taking a shower, knowing what is going to happen to him? This girl is one scary beast.

Just saw Sheriff Joe Arpaio being interviewed on IS. Not only is JA a singer, but she is an artist too. The Sheriff is going to look into whether she is selling her art for money. Evidently she mails her art work to her brother. Too funny.
