Putnam County investigators now consider this a homicide case



...On the second anniversary of the disappearance, the Putnam County Sheriff's Office released a statement saying the ongoing investigation has "minimized the likelihood that Haleigh's disappearance is the work of a stranger," and those who know what happened still won't tell investigators.

One year later, investigators say the case is still open. Both of Haleigh's grandmothers and other family continue to observe her birthdays and hold out hope the girl is alive, somewhere.

Anyone with any information on her disappearance is asked to contact the Putnam County Sheriff's Office at 386-329-0808 or Crime Stoppers at 888-277-TIPS ...

PUTNAM COUNTY, Fla. -- Friday, February 10th, 2012 marks the three year anniversary of the disappearance of Haleigh Cummings.

During the early morning hours of February 10, 2009, Cummings was reported missing from her home in Satsuma. She has not been seen since that night.

Today not only marks the anniversary of her disappearance but also three years of investigative efforts. In a news release, Putnam County Sheriff Jeff Hardy said there have been 168 CrimeStopper tips regarding the Haleigh Cummings investigation in just the last 12 months...

RONALD CUMMINGS with offender number V36497, has had a change in custody status. This offender is in court as of 6/22/2012.

I found that he filed an appeal in February. this could be why he is in court today? do you go back in to court for an appeal hearing? or does the Judge just look over the info and decide the verdict?

And I think that it's quite possible that Haleigh was drugged, too, but with something MUCH more lethal than diphenhydramine!!

I just got word that RC is heading back for Brevard County. I can't confirm that with inmate search just yet be we all know how slow
they can be on a weekend. Apparently RC filed for a district appeal, or a rehearing and it was denied. I also heard a blogtalk radio
broadcast sometime within the last week with TJ Hart on it and he was saying that he had heard that Putnam County has some new tips
in on the case.

Weird. Wonder what he is going to accuse Crystal of doing (or not doing) to get custody from her? And, wouldn't he have to ask for someone else to have custody (like his mom or whomever) because he can't actually have custody while incarcerated.

It isn't Crystal. Actually the woman is seeking to have his parental rights terminated and from what I have seen in the news today, the woman and child/children live in Brevard County.
This woman was before his relationship with Crystal and Amber. I am so hoping that there is a followup article on this so we can see basically what happens as it is with minor child/children
and we can't get into those court records online.

No, I do not think she is still alive. Such a sad case. Just thought I would post this age progressed photo just in case there is that slightest possibility that she may still be alive.
