tidbits
I saw MH search with my own eyes along with his entire family. You may not have seen them, but I was there. He payed for his own helicopter and it was not JH. I was there when the helicopter landed. He was at the center many times until he along was asked not to come back. I don't mean for the words to sound harsh, but what you said was not true and maybe you were just confused. Hope this helps before more rumors get started.

oops I forgot
The GBI did not ask him to leave. AG sent message that she did not want him there and out of respect for Tara and her family, MH did not go back to the center, but contiued to search.

Maybe HD was trying to contact Tara to let her know his wife found out about them. Maybe the wife was going to cause problems for HD at work or maybe at Tara's work.
These are copied & pasted from another old thread...thought they were worth bringing over to be discussed here.

Then your mind is failing.
The tattoo that was mentioned on the waste of time HE Spectacular. That face was revealed and mention of the spider web tattoo on his left arm, or his other one. The guy that overcame Tara at her house had a spider web tattoo and drove a red truck.
How could you forget Carla solving the crime?

JDA was discussed at length at one time as POI on the message boards.
Although no official suspects or POI's have been named by the GBI, Rothwell said nobody has been ruled out and nobody can account for the full amount of time that elapsed after Tara was last seen and when she was reported missing.
JDA is married and was working at Ben Hill Sheriff's Office when Tara disappeared. It was stated on the board that JDA was called to Ocilla to process Tara's car, but some were upset because it was alleged that he had dated Tara at one time and it was a conflict of interest.
Does anybody still question his involvement? Why or why not?

Another Ranger "Losing His Cool"
ROCKVILLE, Md. - A former U.S. Army Ranger from Maryland has been sentenced to 35 years in prison in the shooting death of a fellow Ranger he served with in Afghanistan.
Gary Smith was convicted in April of shooting 22-year-old Michael McQueen II in the apartment they shared in Gaithersburg. He was found guilty of second-degree murder — depraved heart.
Jurors rejected a defense claim that McQueen committed suicide in September 2006. Prosecutors didn't suggest a motive, but said Smith idolized McQueen and was upset when he planned to move out.
In sentencing the 25-year-old Smith Wednesday, Montgomery County Judge Eric M. Johnson criticized a lack of veterans programs. Smith, who also served in Iraq, was diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder.

#1 - The Protection
Hd's protection has been remarkable since the disapperance of Tara Grinstead. I figured that I would make contact with several individuals to try to get the real story. After verifying several accounts at 1st hand from my source this is what my sources had to say:
A source was leaked to me about a heated arguement between a GBI agent named Carl and Dominic Turner the night of the processing of Tara's house. The argument was supposedly over Tara's digital camera which contained a picture of Tara and Heath ****s at the Perry fair together. "Carl" wanted it taken into evidence....Dominic didnt. Carl was heard saying something along the lines of: "now that you know what you know you need to take that into evidence". Dominic responded with something like " He's already admitted they were seeing each other" and still refused to take it into evidence. This source that told me this walked out as he said the argument became "heated". The camera must have been taken B/c the recovery agent hired by Billy Grinstead couldnt find it in the house.
Now the question I have is where is the digital camera and the picture of Tara and HD? Was it taken into evidence? How did HD admit having a relationship with Tara to DT unless DT and HD talked before DT got to the house. Something isn't right here because the sheets were not taken and her clothes last worn were not taken. Now if we just knew how bad and what happened after the argument became heated. Still digging and will try to post one at a time of the information that I have received from a very reliable source. As I said before I don't have a link ... believe it or not. I believe the picture starts to get clearer. JMHO and now for #2......

#2 - The parking of HD's vehicles
From a several reliable sources from Ocilla this is what they had to say about the parking of HD's vehicles and he did have several that he did use. I was glad to confirm this was true. Here is the parking of the vehicles:
Witnessed Heath's Grey F-150 parked there no more than a week earlier
Witnessed Heath's vehicle parked behind the Masonic lodge at the corner of Irwin ave. and the street Tara lived on.
Witnessed Heath's truck and a Houston Co. govt car parked in her driveway
These witnesses are people who live there and know!
It is of my opinion that this is true and correct from not one source but many.

#3 - The office of the GBI in Perry GA
I was told that a person that went to the GBI in Perry witnessed a guy fitting Heath's description hanging out with the GBI agents that day in the office laughing and joking, they said when he started to leave one of the female agents even said "goodbye Heath".
I was also told that DT ALLEGEDLY said something similar to this ..."Heath couldnt have done this....hes a close friend of mine".
So what is the GBI laughing a joking with a man that left his business card in the door of a missing woman? I find this conduct very unbecoming of LE Officers that are suppose to be on Tara's side not HD's. IF DT did indeed say this then HD sure has protection alot better then any of the men we have discussed. AG/LG/FG, DT, GBI laughing and joking with him what does this man have to worry about it? They scream justice justice justice and I scream truth truth truth.
It is not of my intention to get anyone in trouble but rather get off your hineys and do something about this situation. Tara has not been found and NO ONE DESERVES TO BE PROTECTED OR ABOVE THE LAW. JMHO

#4 - Statement from a LE Officer that was there
LE Officer said from day 1 that Heath ****s better be sweating bullets because he can be linked to the scene-by the business card left in the door. His opinion of the glove is that it appeared "staged" to him.
There seems to be a whole lot of staging going on IMHO including the phone calls that I have always felt were an over kill.
Also another question that I had was when was the arrival of HD. This is what the answer was to my question:
The comment made was that HD beat just about everybody to the OPD. Most people were arriving around 9:30 AM.
How did he get there that fast? Where was he when he got the call? So according to my source HD was there before 9:30 AM. That really blew my mind because I always thought he got there in the afternoon. JMHO

Thanks for the sad information. It's clear what your motive is but in all reality it worthless for those who think outside the box.
It is down right stupid to think there would be NO crime among the military. Actually the stastics show there is less crime in the military compared to the same number of civilians. It also has to be taken into consideration that Smith was being defended in a murder trial....I'm sure he had a defense attorney that argued the best defense possible and I doubt it was hard to get Smith diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder..If he was getting treatment long before the murder..that would be another thing but since he was found guilty I question it. Putting on a good defense is Sort of Common Sense and certainly common practice.
Sort of like some people without a Job...They will claim ever ailment in the world not to work but just as able as the next guy. Most people do what ever is necessary to defend their actions. fepwww.talktara.com is the home of the "LONG HAUL GROUP" where we continue to search for answers. Somebody, Somewhere knows Something. Kath IIRC, this was also the police officer who moved away shortly after Tara's disappearance. After purchasing a new home IIRC, which is a little odd, but maybe there is an explanation for that. But as I said before, since no one is ruled out, this probably includes JDA, IMO. Do you have any thoughts on this?

MAC, feppy has NEVER said HD assisted GBI. IF you say that then provide a link. Other people have tried to spin it that he came back to Ocilla in an effort to assist but, no one has ever been able to say he actually assisted anyone but himself. There is no way a cop from a few counties over would be called in to assist in an investigation where he clearly was suspect due to his relationship with the missing person. HD may have tried to claim thats why he was there but anyone with half a brain cell and common sense would know that was a lie. IF you doubt me ask the Chief or call the GBI. JMO

Another Military Crime
Here's another example, and IMO both of these guys will be ultimately found guilty. No PTSD noted here though.
(CNN) -- A Marine accused of killing his soldier wife was advised of murder and arson charges against him in a brief hearing before a judge on Tuesday.
Lance Cpl. Kyle Alden, and Marine Cpl. John Wimunc are accused in the death of Holley Wimunc.
Marine Cpl. John Wimunc was charged with first-degree murder and arson for the death of Army 2nd Lt. Holley Wimunc, 24, who went missing after her home was set ablaze last week.
Another Marine, Lance Cpl. Kyle Alden, was charged with arson and felony accessory after the fact to first-degree murder.
The case has drawn national attention, but John Wimunc's lawyer cautioned the public Tuesday against forming an opinion on the case.
"He is to be presumed innocent," attorney D.W. Bray said outside the courtroom. "We have soldiers fighting all over to preserve that right. He should not be tried in the media."
A judge scheduled Wimunc's next court hearing for August 5.
Wimunc and Alden were stationed at Camp Lejeune, and Holley Wimunc was stationed at nearby Fort Bragg.
Joe Lenczyk, resident agent-in-charge for the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, said Holley Wimunc and her husband were estranged and lived apart.
Authorities began searching for the missing soldier after her Fayetteville, North Carolina, apartment was torched July 10.

I don't know if JDA bought a new home or not...but getting a better job and moving is Common practice for those in the work force. It's also common practice for new job openings to crop up unexpected...The last news I had is JDA new job allows him to work with the Perry GBI...FWIW. fepwww.talktara.com is the home of the "LONG HAUL GROUP" where we continue to search for answers. Iirc...
IIRC, it's been said many times that "HD" had a really tight relationship with the GBI and that's why he's being "protected" by them. Utter nonsense, of course, but it HAS been said, and it's been said by YOU.
If you deny he's being protected, then heck, just say so. No hard feelings. According to YOU, FEP, GBI is just a lying bunch of crazy people hell bent on covering up a crime. And for what? An alleged friendship with HD? LOLOL
That could not be FURTHER from the truth and you are well aware of that. Your past negative comments about GBI are well known, and I'm sure the source is always considered, as is your motive for making such bizarre statements IMO.
I'll ignore your future rants, but carry on anyway if it makes you feel better. I look for the party posse to arrive any moment to defend you, since that is usually the case, so I'll run along now and leave you to it. Have a nice day.

Ldt
I tried to call MH today, but he wasn't available. I called another guy I know from GA, his friend was in LE for years. The friend resigned from LE and is now doing some consulting for an attorney, if I'm understanding correctly. I haven't talked with him for a while, decided to give him a call. I just came out and asked the questions. He stated his friend (the consultant) told him HD had taken a LDT. He apparently has inside info. I have no reason to not believe him. He stated HD has been RAKED over the coals and is the #1 POI at present!
The question of why we haven't heard about the LDT was stated clearly in the above post. No one has to reveal anything re: a LDT results to the public. Of course it was ole LG's decision to share with the nation his results! He's so dam* goofy! But, he gave the public some interesting info. when he did share. My question is....if HD passed his LDT then why wouldn't he want the world to know?! If otherwise....... then we wouldn't hear anything.
I've stated it b/f and I'll say it again......I don't have any idea what HD knows, but I feel he knows something re: Tara's disappearance.
Results tells us HD has had an affair b/f Tara! I can't tell you on this board how I feel about this guy! But IMO, he can't be trusted by his wife or anyone else -over-

Ha.You finally got one right Mac..Yep I have said exactly what you said I did and I haven't changed my "position" that the GBI is very capable of protecting their friend HD. Just a fact... whether you or anyone wants to believe it or not...doesn't change things one Iota. I know it and some of the GBI knows it. If any "Good" one wants to challenge me...I'm telling them today because I know they read the boards. [B] Bring your tails over and I will prove I'm justified in my position"
Kenna you got pissed because I posted where JDA is at today so it's just like what I just posted on another thread...You can't attact the local information so you attact the local people. Thank you for proving me right. I can't help I have established credibility where people will defend me from people like you trying to discredit me because you can't discredit what I post. Carry on...you may ignore me but don't ever expect me to ignore your bull crap. fepLast edited by Its just me; 07-17-2008 at 11:09 AM.

Mac, I don't know who you are or where you are but if you doubt GBI is not capable of protecting their friends then you my dear need to step back into reality. It has been proven more than once here in Ga. that LE can and will protect the ones they see as friends. As for HD being friends with some of the agents I am sure he is.
Now did he harm Tara I have no idea but I do know he sure put himself right smack in the middle then lied saying he hadn't seen Tara in weeks. Seems as if he really cared about Tara and her being found he wouldn't have disappeared after that monday. Can you tell me what searches he went on? What about admitting he had an affair? Dr. G. let that one slip out months later. What about his midnight run to Ocilla that Sunday? The call to FG? Nope he has been a complete coward hiding behind his badge. The "Oh I can't say anything" just doesn't cut it. JMO

Thank you Odette. I remember reading this post before. I wonder whether it was ever established just what happened to that camera and what the other agent did? I believe Dominic Turner is no longer with the GBI. I read somewhere that he resigned due to a DUI. That just doesn't sound right to me. I wonder if there was something else behind his resignation? I will try to ask the people I know and see if they perhaps know anything.
I think we may have had more information on this case if Chief Hancock had just investigated this himself instead of trying to do the right thing and call GBI. Seems as if they should have taken a hint from the Chief and referred this case to the FBI since they clearly had a conflict of interest also. This is just my own opinion though. JMO
