Hi! The black object looks to me like it could possibly be a small black pot with a clear plastic bag hanging over the side...or maybe a rag. It also looks like it could be a small black handbag or camera bag with the strap going to the right. I will keep looking at it and if I come up with anything else I will let you know.

Maybe the perp is the father, making a buck off of his own daughter! A child that young and vulnerable has to trust their own father -- who else do they have!

I noticed these photo's do not show a wooden, pine headboard on the bed, like one of the other pictures published.(Pahrumptvalleytimes)

The bed has a ruffled, dust ruffle around the bottom.
Is there any motels that have dust ruffles around the bottom of the beds?
Most Motels I go to, do NOT....and they use WHITE sheets, not stripped..

Notice on the last photo of the perp, a DARK SPOT on his chest?
What is that spot..if it's a mole, he could be easily identified..

The PJ's you have pictured aren't the same style. Same print though. It looks like from the most recent photo's released that its a nighty and not a top and bottom.

I did some looking around on the sheets and found some similar but not the same. Martha Stewart and Ralph Lauren brands.

The little Pajama's are still being sold now, this is what they look like, they come from upscale stores such as Dillards and also from boutiques.

These pajama's come in size 2x-6x, which leads me to believe this little girl may be younger than they think.
The way the ruffle shirt hangs long on her although its a short shirt in photo leads me to believe she is either very petite or younger....JMHO

We need to be searching for the sheets, they also are rather distinct....

It almost looked indented to me, like a large scar. My first thought was the guy had had a bullet removed. That would be easy to check.

She has light brown hair and big blue eyes. Investigators believe she is four, maybe five, years old and they know she is the victim of sexual assault. They saw her being repeatedly abused on a half hour videotape.

BECKLEY- -- Detectives in Nevada recently released images of a young girl dressed in lingerie and being sexually assaulted.

They've launched a nationwide search, hoping someone can identify the girl or the abuser.

Police here say child sex abuse is always a concern and talk about ways you can help.

Detectives in Nevada say the little girl is victim to one of the worst cases of child sexual assault they have ever seen.

One man was arrested in this case. Now Investigators are searching others involved in this abuse.

After receiving a tip, police arrested and charged 26-year-old Darren Tuck with possession of child pornography.

They say he didn't make the tape, but isn't telling police where he got it. .....

One of the young girls on a tape of the sexual assault of a child has been identified and is safe and at home in Pahrump with her parents, authorities said.

After the media broadcast photographs of the girl, authorities were notified late Wednesday night that the girl, who is now a teen, was OK, said Nye County Sheriff Tony DeMeo. The girl was not a victim of sexual abuse on the tape nor did the suspect seen on the videotape sexually abuse her, DeMeo said.

Police say the teen was a victim of a peeping tom in January 2005, when someone videotaped the girl through a window at her Pahrump home as she looked at herself in a mirror. After noticing someone watching her, the girl turns around and the video fades away. Police believe the voyeur stopped taping and ran away after being noticed.

The teenager told her parents, who called authorities, but when sheriff's deputies got to the home, whoever had been watching her was gone.

Because they now know the date of the peeping tom case, authorities now have a better idea of when the sexual assault was filmed. They believe it couldn't have been any earlier than January 2005 because the footage of the older girl was shot before the sexual assault, DeMeo said. The recorded assault interrupts and records over the voyeur footage. .....

I grew up in Nevada and I've been to Pahrump. It's a pretty small place. I can't imagine anyone could live there for any length of time and not be noticed by someone.

(CBS/AP) - Police continue searching for a little girl seen being abused in a pornographic videotape, as well as an adult man seen in the videotape, while the man who claimed to have found the tape in the Nevada desert could face charges himself.

The little girl is about 4 or 5 years old.

Darren Tuck, 26, turned over that video to detectives back in early September. At the time, he told detectives he merely found the videotape in the desert while riding his dirt bike.

"He is driving around in the desert. He sees it. He's curious. He picks it up, takes it home, plugs it in, take a few minutes to realize it is what he feared it was - horrible acts being done on a child," attorney Harry Kuehn told Melissa Duran of CBS affiliate KLAS-TV.

Investigators have doubts about that story.

"A reasonable person doesn't hold onto this for five months," Detective David Boruchowitz said. "To me, as a human being and as a father, that is unacceptable and I don't buy it."

Kuehn says Tuck may even have helped in possibly saving the little girl's life.

"That was not his goal, because if that was his goal, he wouldn't have held onto that for five months. And until somebody provides me a reasonable explanation as to why he possibly left this girl in danger, until then, I don't buy it. Unacceptable all around," Boruchowitz told KLAS. .....

There are Big breaks Thursday in the case of two girls seen on a child sex tape. Police have identified one of the girls. News 3's Collette Wieland is following this story for us.

The Nye County Sheriff's Department found the older girl seen on the tape. The young brunette female also seen on the tape told investigators she was not abused by the man seen in the video, in fact she doesn't even know who he is or the identity of the little girl.

She is a Pahrump resident and that tells police that at least a portion of the tape was shot in southern Nevada. The focus still remains on finding the other girl.

"Someone out there is going to give us information that's going to lead us to who this young girl is so we can rescue her from the situation, and that's going to lead us to the suspect so we can bring him into the criminal justice system for prosecution," Nye County Sheriff Tony DeMeo told News 3. .....

I am struggling with finding the sheets...I have looked at so many sights and have yet to find a match. I guess I am going to go to E bay and maybe I can find them there. If I can get a brand, I can find them.

Also, if you look at the one photo, it looks like there is a square thingy outside the window, almost like the bottom of a screen door. I wonder if this is on of those motels that you rent by the week or month. That would account for the smallness, also would account for him having his own sheets on the bed.

I also believe the bed does not have a frame, its a mattress and boxspring on the floor. I have done this myself in the past as I have been on the poor side of the tracks many a time. Hence no headboard. Also, the dust ruffle could usually be tucked under to hide the offensive boxspring from showing, but if you have ever had your bed on the floor, it never stays tucked in. Hence it being bunched up.

Tell me what you see in the reflection of the television. I have been working this for hours and see so many things, I think my eyes are playing tricks.

PAHRUMP, Nev. -- Nye County police plan to release new information in the investigation to find the man and a girl in a sex tape.

Officers said that thanks to the media coverage, they have had several breaks in the case, including the identity of a second, older girl featured in another scene of the tape.

Darren Tuck, the man who turned the tape over to authorities, is expected to undergo a polygraph test Friday. Police would not confirm that the new information has anything to do with Tuck.

The dust ruffle tells me that an adult woman slept in that bed. Most bachelor's will not take the time to make sure there is a dust ruffle on the bed, especially one with no frame. Maybe he is at the home of the child's mother? IMO
Maybe the child and the mother are missing or even worse. I sure hope they have thoroughly searched the missing people files and all the Jane doe's that have not been identified.

I know that if he was going to be taking footage often, he may take the time to put on a ruffle and tuck to hide the box spring....IMHO. I also don't see any hints of a toy anywhere, that bugs me, where there is even the poorest of children you will see a toy or two. The room looks rather un lived in actually. If you look on the entertainment stand, you will see other VHS's and they could very well be his other child porn tapes.

Also, the television appears to be smudged as a child will touch the screen. Look close at it, its dirty and you can almost see the finger smudge area. Could be a family member with a no tell motel rented for his porn making. Just a thought.....

IMO, these look like they were taken in someone's home, not a motel room. Since the video was supposedly found in the desert, it could have been taken in any of the surrounding states and 'left' there or thrown from a vehicle.

We are all aware of the horrific case of a 5 year old girl who was being raped by this man when this picture was being taken. This is the face of evil. While CLD is having an on-going discussion about this case here, I wanted to talk about the broader issues this depravity brings to light.

There are many faces that we cannot see that are complicit as well. The obvious faces , the person taking this video, the person who sold it, the person who bought it, the person who saw it and did nothing. All are guilty of raping this child.

In our ever increasingly transient society where communities are larger and few people know one another the terror of child pornography finds a place to thrive. There are no mechanisms of social control to stop this evil. Child rapists rely on the silence of their victims and the silence of others like them. It is incumbent upon all of us to do our part in disrupting the process. Take an interest in the children in your community. Look at them and if you notice something is wrong with a child, take action! No family that truly cares about their children is offended when another adult makes sure that a child is truly safe.

In this case it is my prayer that ever person who watched this rape face severe sanctions for doing so. I am confident as this case gets more national attention the rapist will be discovered as will his other victims. Spread this face of evil everywhere you go on the web. Send this face of evil to everyone you know. Together we can find this evil. Together we can stop this evil from hurting another child.
