So far so good here. Very windy and raining. Which it has been doing last coupla days. Today the winds are stronger. We are to peak this eve and into tomorrow. We have wind warnings but we are away from the areas to be hardest hit from Sandy's wrath. I cant imagine what the U.S. coastal people are going thru. I think Toronto and into the Niagara horseshoe area will get the hardest hit here in Canada. Keep ya posted. Busy this aft. doing a report so no worries. I'll check in tonight as the winds pick up.

Thanks we are prepped here just in case. I dont work until Wednesday and not gonna go anywhere out of town. Suppose to meet the golf gals at the golf course for dinner Tuesday eve but we will see what the weather is doing. I think tomorrow into Tuesday is going to be the worst we get. I dont know if we will have any power outage so you will know if i am not here that will be why. I will check in here often. Seems the worst areas are the one's on the coasts of the Great Lakes. This is just a terrible storm. Those directly hit i am praying for.

Thanks for the game quiz. I will have to do it when i finish this. Yes i really enjoyed the Marigold Hotel but glad the reviews agreed with my take on Freelancers. Yeah i though DeNiro looked pretty good. Sewing is a great hobby. Let me know what ya decide. Think of all the cool fun things you can make. Prolly shoulda cuz then it wouldn't be in my head today LOL Yes i see we may get some of that ugly storm. Keeping an eye on it. Rickles best get the patio furniture stored. I wanted to do it when we had the warm coupla days this week but he didn't want me helping case i hurt ma knee and he didn't want to take the time. Hope he will today as it's the only day rain is not predicted. Tomorrow to be a rain/snow mix. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL

Yeah it would save on some energy if i can find something around here LOL I guess i should get out tomorrow as every day from Monday on is rain. I think til Friday. Lordy!!! Hope ya can get your fill up without a minimum and a good price. LOL I am the same with certain things. I think thats why i am having trouble finding a coat. I know what i want i just dont want to pay the price. Not for an everday type coat. Now a dress coat or jacket thats different LOL We just finished watching Freelancers. Ohhh it was hard core. I just heard about the movie from a co worker. Crazy this weather. Too much change. Heading to get flu shots on Tuesday. That time of year sigh....Gawd yes gas prices are insane. We hit a high of 1.30 a litre and now back to 1.22 a litre. I dont get the flucuations????? Just chilling here. Gonna check a store tomorrow here in town if not raining for a winter coat. Last store to look before i head State side to hunt. I kinda forgot Sears carries Columbia. I think LOL????

It had to be a horrid summer for you. I know ours was certainly not the norm too. I luv the 80's too. Slight breeze and little to no humidity. We didn't see much of that either. I hope it's not going to continue or i will never have a fave season LOL I'm sure it created intense care of your plants etc. That alone would be a full time job. Yes when the time is right you will read it. Good u are taking care of u. Rainy and chilly here again. I think lotsa rain in the forecast. The fall colors are pretty but thats bout it for me as far as liking fall cuz i know whats coming!!!!! I hear a mild winter for us. As long as it isn't damp and dreary i can deal. Well i complain and i aint in the path of much LOL It's just our "right of passage". I hear ya we went from winter to a summer of hell too. Oppressive heat/humidity. Not too many days to enjoy this summer. I thought of u often and why u hate summer then. Horrid it was and is for you. Really enjoying his book. How he survived his upbringing is beyond me. Yet i think it taught him how to escape in his mind and helped him survive in Prison. It's a fascinating read. Let me know if u locate that book.

LOL Ya you laugh. I'll send ya some snow. Kidding of course. I cant wrap my head around summer ended. Now i am thinking winter??? Bahamas wont happen til Feb. 24th. Soooo a loooong wait for a break. You are so right and if u are elderly and don't have a good caring advocate well you know.....And i know you know. I know it helps to have somebody hear ya. I hear ya and always do. Sending more good thoughts and good energy. I hope he got moved ASAP cuz it sounds so therapeutic and perhaps the best he has at this point. I have been listening to the storm reports. I must email my Long Island buddy. It sounds it may be headed their way. They are a half minute walk to the Ocean. YIKES!!!!
