Glad the neighbors will have something to keep them busy when they're snowed in. Our wind finally stopped late yesterday after three days of non-stop howling. Sorry to hear you've got it again. May as well be at werk! Beautiful day here; we're having a bit of a warm up too, and still plugging away at lifting caladiums and did five more pots today and a little raking. Need to do some dusting.

Oh look, I was so shook up by the noises that I botched my You know that's my fave smiley face! Not sure what the noises were - maybe raccons? Or maybe the deer rubbing on the side of the house? When I go out back I'll see if there's any velvet on my siding. That is funny about the neighbors and so logical - how long will it take the yentas to figure it out?

Oh my, sounds like separate vacations! Or maybe they're test driving/comparing before they buy. Who cares?!? OMG I just heard Carole say butt **** on RHONY reunion from last week. LMAO

Glad you got out of werk early - what a treat. Man, I'm here all by myself and am hearing noises. Going to sneak to the other end of the house and set the alarm.

You did your part - it's not your fault it went to voicemail. Hope werk flies by and you get another good night's rest. Looks like the wind is dying down so when the Z hearing is over, I may have to drag myself outside and get something done. Darn it all!

Good for you - you made the call and you slept well. Believe me, I hate talking on the phone so much that I'll give myself a big ole pat on the back just for getting calls out of the way. It's not like me to not deal, but it's the only solution so I'm adapting. Now procrastinating? That's a concept I believe in!!!

Hope the weather improves before court starts. Heck, sounds awful so I hope it just improves period. I've lifted half of my caladiums so far and need to get out and do some more, but it's blowing about 30mph right now. Tired. Of. It.

The wind has been so crazy the past couple of days that you can actually hear it howling around the house - kinda skeery. Read in the Gazette this morning that peeps in LR are still without power after a storm went through on Wednesday. They're prolly wishing they could turn the heat on! It's not very many households, only 90 I think, but still I hope they get them turned back on.

Oh man, if only we could sign up for life instead of It signing us up for a roller coaster ride! You do a fine job of handling things prolly due to your gift of listening to others which gives you time to reflect before you respond or act. That's a great gift. I'm not listening to static from my sibs right now and I'm not being totally honest - because I don't want to give them the blast o'truth that they deserve. Strictly business. (But my baby bro has managed to miss a couple of important dates where business is concerned. Grr ) The difficult thing now is can I keep that bottled up if there is a death in the family? Doubt it! But I'll try.

You could be exactly right that what's keeping you restless and not sleeping is just not having things ironed out over that welfare check. I mean really. That's kinda whack. But when you talk to her it may all make sense. So kudos for making up your mind to make the call.

Rickles may very well be right - what would it hurt for you to call and just leave a message with his nurse about how often you're having to use ice? He might want to send you back to PT or something or do some pictures. Things have been topsy turvy for a while for you guys and even though you like to stay busy and do your running, it's not the same when there is stress involved like the surgery and funeral and trying to absorb your friends' burdens. But that's life.

Yes, on the secrets! I don't have a lot - most of my relationships are pretty open and honest. To me secrets can be lies and those are deadly, but it's none of my business if my brother wants to set himself up as some sort of paragon to my father. But it's sad. So I've mostly done my mourning if you want to call it that.
