ATTICA, N.Y. (RELEASE) - State Police in Warsaw along with investigators from the Inspector General’s Office of NYS Corrections concluded a lengthy joint investigation with the arrest of Jennifer A. Woeller, a 33 year old from Batavia for official misconduct. Over the course of several months it is alleged that Woeller, who is employed as a civilian employee at the Attica Correctional Facility, had an ongoing personal relationship with an inmate. Woeller was released on an appearance ticket for the charge and will appear in the Attica Town Court at a later date. She is currently suspended from her employment at the facility.

Attica prison worker accused of misconduct

A female civilian employee at Attica Correctional Facility has been arrested on charges of official misconduct for allegedly having an ongoing personal relationship with an inmate, state police said Wednesday.

State police in Warsaw, working with investigators from the state Corrections Department, arrested Jennifer A. Woeller, 33, of Batavia.

Woeller was suspended from her job at Attica and was released on an appearance ticket.
