Amber Alert Issued For Missing 2-Year-Old

CHRISTIANSBURG, Ohio — A regional Amber Alert was issued on Saturday for a 2-year-old Champaign County boy who was last seen on Friday afternoon.

Jacob Lucas was last seen at 5 N. Main St. In Christiansburg, police said.

He is described as white, 3 feet tall, and weighing 38 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Police said he was wearing a short-sleeve navy blue T-shirt with a bicycle on the front, blue jeans and black Velcro shoes.

Police believe the child's father, Christopher Lucas, 41, abducted the child. Investigators said that he is bipolar and has had a history of drug abuse.

Christopher Lucas is believed to be driving a green 1996 Plymouth Voyager with Ohio license plate No. EIK-3502.

He is described as white, 6 feet tall and weighing 220 pounds. He has blonde or strawberry hair and blue eyes.

Missing 2-Year-Old Found Safe; Amber Alert Canceled

CHRISTIANSBURG, Ohio — Police said that a 2-year-old Champaign County boy who disappeared with his father on Friday afternoon was found safe on Saturday night.

A regional Amber Alert was issued on Saturday for the boy, who was last seen at 5 N. Main St. In Christiansburg, police said.

The pair were found in Springfield, in neighboring Clark County, 10TV News reported.

The boy's father, who police said is bipolar and has had a history of drug abuse, was taken into custody, according to police.
