I have the feeling that this is turning into a carbon copy of the Caylee Anthony case (rest her soul). IMO, a red flag popped up for me when it was mentioned that Haleigh had a bedwetting problem. Kids usually bedwet when they are scared, which tells me that maybe something was going on in that house for a while (abuse?) and it peaked that night, and maybe Misti had enough of Haleigh and her bedwetting and having to clean up after her and finally dealt the "final blow" and ended her having to be "mom" to someone else's kids. Was it ever mentioned if the little boy showed signs of abuse?
My thoughts come from a blurb on the news tonite from Misti that she said that Haleigh was sleeping 4ft away from her and didn't see or hear anything. Really? Really, Misti? She had to be really out of it not to hear/feel Haleigh being taken. It all just smacks too much of Casey Anthony. Did she start a trend? I hope not.
Also, another question for anyone, are the results of lie detector tests admissable in Florida court?
OT, Loretta, you crack me up!!!!!

Hey Skwerl! Haleigh has Turner's Syndrome which does sometimes have kidney involvement. I think there is a tendency for the patient to retain water because of problems with heart rhythm, but if that's the case, Haleigh might have not been able to "go" on demand, right before bedtime for instance.

I appreciate everyone's humor while we discuss the cases. It keeps us (me anyway) from going crazy(er).

What's the deal with a van? Was it Misti's cousin who stopped by? I think some details are starting to spill out---I gotta believe that LE has a good idea about what happened in this case. It's just a matter of time before it all comes together and it does not look good for little Haleigh.

I think it was one of Misty's brothers who dropped by. The one with the two little boys. (Can't remember if that's Tommy or Tim.) According to legend, it's been some time since Misty's nebulous child molesting cousin has visited.

I thought that's what I conveyed. Sorry for any confusion. Does anyone know who "they" is?

I'l save my criticism of Misty and/or Ron not having stripped and laundered the urine soaked bedding immediately after Haleigh's accident.

At first it was thought that the "they" were LE and that they took the blanket away in a evidence van. But that doesn't follow the timeline so we really don't know who the "they" are.

Mark Klaas on NG tonight. He believes LE put the word out that Misti might have left those kids alone to put some pressure on her to come forward with the truth. He thinks Misti is lying and others are covering for her. I also heard Ronnie's mom say that she "believes" Misti was home all night. This whole thing stinks. Long line of liars if you ask me.

Don't you just love Mark Klaas?

Anyway, after listening to Mrs. Neves, I wonder if she doesn't fear a Ronald Rage. I'm betting that Misty does for sure. Somehow I can just imagine the family supporting the Cummings household just to keep the peace.

Yes, Loretta. Mark Klaas is the best. I always pay close attention to his words as he is usually spot on with who should be the focus. I agree that Misty is living in fear of Ronnie Rage. "How the F**K did you let someone steal my child B***H?" Loved it that NG had his quote on screen tonight. Very telling.

I caught most of JVM and bits and pieces of NG. First, let me say that Drew Fin(d)ley is incorrect about the age of majority/consent in FL, it is eighteen, not sixteen like it is in George where he practices. Okay, I feel better getting that off my chest.

I saw that Mrs.Neves is standing by Misty, and bully for her. If she cannot see, let alone question why this girl can't give a consistent account of Monday night/Tuesday morning, she's got problems. It was interesting that she says that relatives saw Haleigh wearing the pink tee shirt that night when they visited and dropped off some clothing. Interesting that Mrs. Neves says that the delay in the 911 call was because Misty was searching the home for Haleigh. Hellllllllooooooo How long could that possibly take? Two minutes? Three? And if Misty was searching every room, every closet, and every nook and cranny, why didn't she see the pink tee shirt? Because Haleigh was wearing it and it was discarded outside the home?

The deal with the blanket as I understand it, is that Haleigh had wet the bed Sunday night, and since the blanket smelled "like pee", and "they" had taken the other blanket in the van (sorry, I have no idea what that means), she had to take a blanket off the window and wash it for Haleigh to use to sleep that night.I totally agree. First of all the paternal grandmother standing by her is just because it would reflect quite badly on her son if he had a young girl there would was irresponsible and could not be bothered to stay and actually take care of the children. I notice she said there was no drug history at all . I don't know if that is true or not but she is no way going to say, "Oh yes my son let a drug user into his home to watch his children. " She just is not and did I hear right that the room where all three were was 10 by 10? I am sorry but that is one small room not to hear a thing if you are there. I also am a little startled she did not know what she put the kid to bed in. But maybe that is normal and I am just too suspicious.

one more thing. he refered to misty as his dumb ***** girfreind in the police report. well mr smarty pants how smart are you leaving your kids with a dumb *****. pot meet kettle:flamemad:

he clearly has no respect for women. If he is so protective of those children then why did the dumb F leave his children with a 17 year old that he obviously does not respect. I think a 25 year old man dating a 16 year old if that is how old she was when he met her is disgusting. Call me old fashioned. I get it when one is 17 and the other is 18 , but he is too old for her, although I agree he behaves like a 14 year old.

I can't answer you questions, but I wanted to say I think both he and the girlfriend are faking their emotions, sort of what they think they should do.
He reminds me of Melinda Duckett when she said " I know who f --ing did it" May just be the accent.I totally agree. About that crying and her eyes being dilated from it(according to the grandmother), huh? First of all, there are no tears when she cries, she does the crying voice and scrunches up her face. I can't help but think of Susan Smith. Secondly I don't think crying causes dilation of the eyes, redness and puffiness yes but dilation of the pupils. Naw....

Maybe not with Misti herself as far as a drug history but with Ronald there is and that is in the custody papers. He admitted to it himself.

Yes you heard right. The previous tenant said the master bedroom was 10 by 10 and had a garden tub in one corner. I don't understand that one either. The previous tenant said that they had a queen sized bed in the room and he barely had room to walk around it. So I don't get how she couldn't have heard either someone else in the room or the little girl get up.

The pink tee shirt I can understand because I was one of those children that didn't like clothing and was out of mine every chance I got. My youngest daughter up until she was about 7 was a terror to keep clothing on when she was home and forget the night clothes. She was having no part of that.

The other thing that bothers me even more is that there was a 4 year old boy in the room and he didn't wake up. Most boys that age are awake at the drop of a hat.

Interesting about the drug history on him. I just saw a report about how drug dealers are now starting to kidnap or even kill family members of people who stiff them on drugs or payments. And it is kind of becoming a real problem in some areas. So hopefully LE is looking into that. Notice his mother did not mention his drug history. LOL.

I have been sitting here reading some online news and thinking about this post. It occurs to me that some people seem to think that this is a new thing. I can remember back in the late 70s and early 80s it was more the norm than not. Dealers used family members as bait, or for ransom, or to threaten if someone stiffed them on a deal. I can remember the first time that I saw what is now referred to as a Columbian neck tie and that was in the early 80s.

I believe that his mother is not going to mention alot of things in this case. Just a feeling but I think that most of this family is in denial or at the very least wanting to keep their mouths shut so that noone else comes up missing. Mind you this is just my $0.02 worth.

I agree Sara.

I think that alot of it has to do with the fact that in the custody order that I read he was suppose to be living with his mother and she was suppose to be watching the children while he worked.

This goes along way towards explaining why the bio mother didn't know alot about what was going on in her children's life as well if you ask me.

Wow. This case is just so messed up. I still think the girlfriend is responsible. Anger go too far? Or maybe the father helped out with things she might not have been able to do because they were both angry at something? Who really knows. I hope this poor little girl is still alive and is found soon.

Personally, I don't think the bio mom had anything to do with it. JMO. From my personal expierences camping in trailers, the only REAL way in or out was the door. The windows aren't very big, and would be hard for someone to go through a window unnoticed.

Do we know why her pupils were dialited? Drugs? If so, then it's possible not to notice an intruder, like to be passed out to the point where you have no idea what's going on around you. Alchohol maybe.

Anyways, I really hope she is found and the father gets arrested for dating an underage girl! If people could be arrested for pure stupidity, he would already be in jail for leaving his children with a 17 year old girl who he clearly doesn't even trust or respect.

Sorry, but when I have children, people i TRUST are watching them if need be. Not a minor.

this case is not looking good. I just hope Haleigh is found alive. Another crappy family situation. I think the kids were left alone; and who knows what happened during that time. It is a shame there was no oversight to protect those kids; the dad's a loose cannon and the g/f is probably barely able to take care of herself never mind two kids.

Realistically, at 17-I wouldnt have been mature enough to take care of two kids myself. I think he put alot of responsibility on his g/f to ask her to do such. I mean she is just a kid herself. What about Misti's own schooling? She surely hasnt graduated. Why wasnt she going to school also. I agree this guy shouldnt have a 17 year old girl friend living with him since he is 24 or 25-I dont believe the courts would approve.

Girlfriend Under Investigation In Haleigh Case

PUTNAM COUNTY, Fla. -- Eyewitness News discovered that the Putnam County Sheriff's Office is investigating Ronald Cummings' girlfriend, who claimed that she was at home and sleeping when Haleigh Cummings was taken. But a tip puts the spot light on the 17-year-old girlfriend.

The most recent information investigators got was that Ronald Cummings' girlfriend, Misty Croslin, may not have been home when Haleigh disappeared from her Satusum house early last week.

In a news conference Wednesday, Putnam County Sheriff's Office Capt. Dick Schauland says the information is one of the 1,200 tips that investigators are looking into. He says he doesn't know if it panned out. He says detectives have interviewed family members and girlfriend Misty Croslin several times.

"We will take any lead, any place, anytime," said Dominick Pape of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement...

Tipster: Girlfriend's story not true

SATSUMA, Fla. - Putnam County Sheriff's investigators said they have receieved a tip that the 17-year-old girlfriend in the case of a missing Satsuma girl was not actually home at the time of the girl's disappearance, which is contrary to what she told detectives.

The girlfriend, Misty Croslin, said she had been sleeping next to 5-year-old Haleigh but when she awoke, the girl was gone. "She was sleeping right next to me," Croslin told the Palatka Daily News. "I can't believe I didn't hear anything," she added.

Haleigh's father, Ronald Cummings, told investigators his daughter was missing when he returned home from work around 3 a.m. Tuesday. Ronald said his girlfriend was awake and frantic that Haleigh was missing from her bed.

Croslin has responded to the allegations by the tipsters and said they are lying. Croslin is adamant that she was there at the home with Haleigh and says no one can say she wasn't there.

Amber Alert Changed: Search for Haleigh Continues

SATSUMA -- Putnam County Sheriff's Deputies continues to follow-up on leads in the search for missing 5-year-old Haleigh Cummings.

Deputies will hold the next press conference at 4 p.m. Wednesday to discuss the next course of action.

Investigators say they've received over 1,200 tips in this case, including one saying the 17-year-old girlfried of the child's father, Misty Croslin, was not home at the time of Haleigh's disappearance. At Wednesday morning's press conference, investigators say this is just one of many tips, and they are following up on this tip today.

Putnam County Sheriff's Office Captain Dick Schauland says no ground searches are schedules at this point. However, ground crews are at the ready, should the need arise.

Investigators conducted spot searches Tuesday. So far, all of the leads have come up short.

Tuesday, deputies said they slightly changed the Amber Alert out for Haleigh, saying she wasn't wearing a pink shirt when she vanished as first thought...

Former Tenant Talks About Haleigh's Home

SATSUMA, FL -- The floor creeks, the back door sticks and makes a scraping noise, and you can feel other people walking in the house.

That's how Dr. Jessie Smallwood describes the mobile home where 5-year-old Haleigh Cummings disappeared.

Smallwood lived in it nearly a decade ago.

When we called him this morning -- 1 week since Haleigh was reported missing -- Smallwood says it "shocked" him and "chilled" him to know his old home is now at the center of a massive search that's made national headlines.

"We've been watching it on TV, and we've been saying, 'Boy, that looks so familiar,'" he recalls, "'That looks just like the house that we used to live in."

Smallwood stresses that the next owner(s) may have made upgrades to the rickety structure, but he remembers complaining often about the home to his landlord.

"If someone was even trying to creep across the house, the floor creeks," Smallwood explained by phone.

He was also so concerned about the back door not being secure, he and a friend installed a sliding lock.

"My son was a short 9," Smallwood tells us, "and we put the latch up too high for him to reach."

But when asked if the door could be opened even with the latched locked he said, "A man could [open it]."

Smallwood and his wife now live in Claxton, Georgia, but during that year they spend living at 202 Green Lane in Satsuma, Florida, Smallwood says the nights were scary for his then 9-year-old son.

"He was scared of the dark, and we had a security light put in there," Smallwood says, and goes on to describe the area around the mobile home.

"If there was no security light, it was pitch, absolutely black."...

It could be that Misty put those kids to bed and then left the home after she knew they were sound asleep. She returned just before 3 knowing Ronald would be returning home from work. That's when the lies started. Just my opinion.

I can buy that. I've read on another board that Misty had been on a bender (no verification) and Ronald had just brought her home on Sunday. Maybe she had recovered enough to go out and party.

Thanks m'dear. I didn't know the part about taking the blanket off the fricken window....Say What??!! See, this is what I meant by my earlier post. Priorities weren't about making sure the kids ate, and got a bath, never mind tucking them in. A blanket on the window? Since when did blankets take the place of a fricken curtain? I don't care if they moved in the day before, one of the first things that gets done before the first night's sleep in, is the curtains going up! :cuss:

I was also upset to hear Crystal's mother comment about the peeing the bed, that she (Misty) didn't turn over the mattress, she just took off the sheet. Say What??!! Ummmmmmmmm that's when you pull the Bissell out and go to town, even if you can't do it right then and there, you Don't 'turn over the mattress'..........Ugh, disgusting. THIS is how they were being brought up, these poor kids. Think they ate a regular healthy breakfast or dinner?

Dialated eyes? Helloooooooooooooo.

I don't know where Misty was or what she was doing, but with 2 kids to care for, a 17 year old could sleep after hanging out and partying after the kids went to bed. On the other hand, I don't agree with many saying the little boy should have been woken up by any noise. We all know a kid or two that has been picked up while sleeping and put in the car for a ride home from grandmas or brought up to their bed ~ and they didn't know/remember it or didn't wake up. That scenario is totally possible..........were those kids like that? Have Ron and Misty been asked about that?

Neve says Misty and the boy were in the same bed, Haleigh was in the bed 4 feet away. I don't know what's the truth anymore with these folks.

Geez, someone PLEASE send some warm sunshine this way!! The white stuff melted away and now it's snowing again, 1/2 inch in 15 minutes and the kids are home....give me strength!!! Gator and Sharlock are you hearing me???

Haleigh had peed the bed Sunday night. So Misti, took the blanket that was up to the window and Haleigh's blanket and washed them. She gave Haleigh a sheet to cover up with while the blankets were being washed. When the blankets were done, she covered Haleigh up with Haleigh's blanket and Misti used the blanket that was up to the window, because someone had taken Misti's blanket in a van.

Good post! Another whackey case.
The truth is coming out and it is clear that the kids were left alone and things are not as they should be in this case. Where was the protection for these kids...as far as I can see there was none. I think what is happening, and also here in Ma, the child protective workers and Social Service workers are inundated with cases and they can't keep up. With the scum bags we have doing horrible things to children the social workers are out straight and we need more workers to keep our kids safe. Some of these situations are just awful.

Drew! I was dead right you are an asset to these boards!!! And everyone I have spoken to about this is thinking what I am now thinking happened. Misti put the kids to bed and took off and then she knew she had to come back in time for Ronnie to come and when she came in at 3 a.m. she found the child gone. I betcha a fin she knows already his bad temper, and Drew, you picked up on the dumb b***h comment too? I heard that, and I am like yeah, he knows she is not too bright but still leaves his young children in her care! This is why I think the story has changed. She knows he would probably rock out on her if he knew the kids were left alone and as for his mother? She's a moron too. Another one who can't put two sentences together and if you ask me she was very defensive last night on NG. And what blew my mind is Mark Klaas!! What a profound statement from him."The true never changes" And he is questioning her crap story too.

And for the ones who called me a snob, I also said that abducted children come from all walks of life, but in Polly's case, she was from a upper middle class family and she had two loving, caring and nurturing parents even if they were separated, Richard Allen Davis broke into the mother's home and abducted Polly, their lifestyle had nothing to do with that, he is an evil POS scumbag and why in hell has he not been executed yet?? These losers here, and I laughed over the blanket curtain, to me it is trashy to use sheets and blankets for curtains when really, you go to Walmart and they are not that expensive, I bought all of mine there and the girl pees on the one she had in the bed, Misti does not bother to clean the mattress or change the sheets so she grabs the "curtain"?? Sounds to me that the children did not have enough bedding,. but yet she and Daddy smoke cigs. Here again, bedding at Walmart is not that expensive either. I bought an entire set right down to the curtains for about $20 for my goddaughter's daughter.

I can guess what the house looks like, clean is not what comes to mind. So I am dying to know if she did leave those kids alone, and also, what bothers me too, is the dilated eyes, I saw that too and I am thinking smoking drugs can do that, crying does not as far as I know, might be wrong, but I have yet to see tears come out of her. Drew ITA that Mommy has not tried too hard to get custody back despite the fact that she does not do drugs? Possibly because she did drugs during her pregnancies? That will do it in MI, but one turns their live around, most try to get their kids back, instead she just hooks up with another loser and has another child and in your line of work you see the children of people like this trash about the same as I did.

Haleigh and Caylee :rose:

If I lied in a neighborhood with a bunch of RSOs, you can bet I would have curtains up. And so, since Misty took the blanket off the window, does that mean that the window was uncovered? It just makes me see red about the bed not having been taken care of when the bedwetting incident took place. One of the best ways to handle that issue, is to take care of the wet bedding immediately and in a matter of fact manner. I hope to God they didn't make her sleep in the wet bed the night before.

Junior was four feet away? I thought the previous owner said you could barely walk around in that room.

Aside: It's sunny and almost seventy degrees here. Sorry. :hat:

Wind, thanks for the kind words. I find it fascinating that Ronald's mother is covering for Misty. I bet you're right that she's trying to portray a "good" image of her son and his choice of caregiver for his children. That said, theiir standards of childrearing, etc. are F'd Up. And I include extended family members as well.
I don't know what to make of the dialated eyes issue. Most likely she's on some type of substance most likely benzos and who knows what other drugs are available in this circle of losers.
(Notice I have refrained from the term white trash? I'm doing my best but sometimes I refuse to cut some people any slack when it comes to they way they destroy their children!)

I saw this message posted tonight on a local messageboard in Southeast Georgia and thought I would share it here on the slim chance that someone might connect a rough looking couple and an old blue sedan to something local down in Florida. I can't vouch for the veracity of the person who posted it or the factual nature of the content, but wouldn't it be amazing if it turned out to be true?

"Came over scanner about 7pm that Haleigh Cummings, the girl missing from FL, was possibly seen in the Waycross McDonalds about 3pm today. Said LT? Fullard and others had reviewed video tapes from there and she was with a rough looking couple in a older model blue sedan. Could be people just being cautious, but could be her. Haleigh had peed the bed Sunday night. So Misti, took the blanket that was up to the window and Haleigh's blanket and washed them. She gave Haleigh a sheet to cover up with while the blankets were being washed. When the blankets were done, she covered Haleigh up with her blanket and Misti used the blanket that was up to the window, because someone had taken Misti's blanket in a van.

At least that is the way that I understand it.

I must be misunderstanding. Are you saying she took the blanket off the window so that anyone around could look in and see what's going on?

Yes, Loretta. Mark Klaas is the best. I always pay close attention to his words as he is usually spot on with who should be the focus. I agree that Misty is living in fear of Ronnie Rage. "How the F**K did you let someone steal my child B***H?" Loved it that NG had his quote on screen tonight. Very telling.

I am thinking that Misty is very, very fortunate that Ronnie did not physically assault her before LE got there the night Haleigh was taken. Knowing cops were on the way is probably the only thing that saved her.

Now that the family has been hauled back to headquarters to be re-questioned, and it's been aired that Misty is being investigated, it would be wise IMO for Misty to be under some sort of protection from this rageaholic ass hat.

And see, that's the thing with Misty. When her stories morph, she's not actually adding information, she's just changing it. Sometimes even subtracting from what she has told LE. If she was intent on helping the investigation, she might embellish certain details. NOT nullify them.

Hi Wind, according to Crystal's story, Ronald never returned the kids to her after one of HIS weekend visitations and she didn't pursue it right away. She claimed the court just "blew her off" but it sounds like Ronald accused her of using drugs. Wonder what the hell the court system did to investigate BOTH of these ass wipes. A guardian ad litem is usually assigned when there is a custody dispute but it sounds like Crystal didn't fight. Most likely she was already on to her next bf and getting pregnant again. Never mind that these people aren't mentally equipped to care for all these kids, but how are they not learning that they simply have no financial means or otherwise to care properly. I don't get it. I see it all the time--- dumb ass people keep just keep reproducing. :flamemad:

It could be that Misty put those kids to bed and then left the home after she knew they were sound asleep. She returned just before 3 knowing Ronald would be returning home from work. That's when the lies started. Just my opinion.

I think it is very likely you are right. I am also wondering if she did not leave through the back door. She may have felt that if she went out the front a neighbor might see her and tell Ronald that she left.

I'm hoping that LE asked for everyone who should have had a key to produce his/her key right then, right there the night that Haleigh disappeared. I have wondered if Misty lost, loaned (or never had) a key, that she might have propped the back door open to come in and out, or for someone who couldn't afford to be seen to enter and leave. If something wicked was going on and Haleigh woke up and saw it, she might have been stifled to keep Ronald from knowing what was going on.

I totally agree.

One thing I noticed the grandmother saying was the relatives (whomever they were) went "to check on the kids." Now, does that mean they went to check on the two little ones who were home alone? Or, is she including Misti in "the kids?"

Mind you this is just my $0.02 worth.NOt to be racist just stating exactly what the report said. It is particulary a growing trend among illegal Mexican aliens who specifically come to this country to sell drugs. And I am not saying it does not happen among whites or blacks but the particular report I saw dealt with how it is really becoming a problem among illegals. I know for a fact that a friend of mine married an illegal alien. He used her to get his green card and he stiffed some people and he left town because he was afraid they would come after him. He also moved her to a different apartment and even got her a different car because they threatened to harm her. Just what we need if there are not enough citizens selling drugs , now we have illegals doing it too!

Croslin is adamant that she was there at the home with Haleigh and says no one can say she wasn't there.

http://www.myfoxorlando.com/dpp/news/local/021809Tipsters_say_girlfriends_story_not_true

I can't imagine why she would go somewhere by herself, so if she was with someone, I would guess that "someone" COULD say she wasn't there.

Well as far as minors watching children, I babysat alll throughout my teens for my brother. Once or twice they even went out of town but he knew me and knew I was not involved in drugs, did not go on drinking benders and would never just leave the kids so I could go party. So I think it depends. Also I did not have the responsiblity for his children day in or day out. I babysat.

I agree Sara.

I think that alot of it has to do with the fact that in the custody order that I read he was suppose to be living with his mother and she was suppose to be watching the children while he worked.

This goes along way towards explaining why the bio mother didn't know alot about what was going on in her children's life as well if you ask me.You know this just sucks that child protective services would pick him as the custodial parent on the belief the children would be with an adult they probably evaluated and Ronald decides screw it I am going to let my 17 year old girlfriend watch them. I mean, wtf? If the girlfriend was not there or drunk or drugged certainly she was irresponsible but I blame him for putting his kids with her in the first place instead of his mother.

The judge magistrate awarded custody, and as far as I know (and have read), CPS had no input whatsoever into the decision. I feel that a) the judge had to choose between the lesser of two evils, and b) Cummings is a heavy equipment operator, and the judge may have been counting on randomized drug tests to prove or disprove Crystal's allegations that he was a habitual user.

It was a judge and from what I read of the custody papers it sounded to me that the reason that he placed the kids with Ron was because Ron had a job. At the time Ron also stated that he would be living with his mother and his mother would be taking care of the children while he was at work.

Then somewhere else I think I read there was this whole story about night care for the kids so that he could come home and sleep and then pick them up in time to get Haleigh to school.

According to the police report, Cummings couldn't or wouldn't gain control of himself to assist the officers. Though it was dismissed by the court, there was an attempt by Crystal to obtain a restraining order. And we've read and heard his threats to kill whoever stole his child if he found the perp before LE did (even though he wasn't actually out looking for Haleigh), and we've heard how he spoke of Misty; calling her a dumb ***** (even though HE'S the one who left her in charge of his children).

Ever watch that show they put on recently (can't remember the name!:o) It is about hidden video cams people have in their house. A woman hired a caretaker for her sick dad, and she kept meaning to check the video, it was set up in the basement, but didn't get a chance. Dad was not able to speak if I recall.

Finally she does....and that B*t*h caretaker was beating on her dad many times. WELL. There would have been OLD SOUL, yep, in the newspaper... you would have been discussing my case, cause I would have beat the living s**t out of her, on tape, before I turned her sorry azz in.

If my child disappeared, OLD SOUL would be crying and cursing and god knows what else all at the same time..911 call, on camera, whatever.

Now you know what I think of their lifestyle, but I can't say a word about his comments and reactions......I'm glad he had some!! (Casey?) If he really is a violent man, then hell, he needs help. Then again, he seems to like the same kinda girls...dumb B*t*h*s. His words, not mine. Maybe they make him
CrAzY.

All this from a person who Isn't violent.........but I know how I'd react..oh yeah.

ITA. It doesn't take an actual physical assault to be a rage-a-holic. His behavior certainly indicates a strong potential for violence in some form. He uses threats and clearly hates women. I wouldn't give much credence to any comments about him being "a good dad." Violent men can minimize it and even act in loving ways at times to convince everyone he's sorry. I will bet there's a long history of DV in this family. JMO.

I just think Cummings' reactions are off. His high-pitched mewling and crying, falling to the ground, switching to the normal tone of voice, seemingly controlling what Misty says on camera, the ever changing stories like when he said that Haleigh was the one who got up to go to the bathroom. WTF?

Yeah, these people, all of them are pure D hillbillies for sure and right now on NG, the sister of Ronald is on and she doesn't know jack either and most responsible parents and grandparents would really want to know who is taking care of the children and instead, Daddy puts a 17 year old girl who appears to be totally uneducated in the care of his children, she could barely talk to the 911 operator, do you guys with kids know how much your child weighs or how tall or the DOB?? And the blanket? Something tells me that trailer is gonna look like a ****hole, probably filthy, dirty clothes everywhere, dirty dishes in the sink, she does not strike me as a good housekeeper or caretaker for the kids never mind just wash a pee stained blanket, what about the sheets? She claims she gave the child a sheet, but did she clean the mattress? My money says no and I have a feeling she did not wash that blanket unless it contained something she did not want people to know about like blood. I think it was somebody that knew that trailer, somebody that has been in it and knows where the doors are and possibly know when Daddy would leave for work.

Couey scoped out Jessie before he made his move, He knew when Mark left at night to see his girlfriend and grandparents went to bed, sick POS like him will go any lengths to snap a kid and even though LE claims they have searched all of the 44 SEX OFFENDERS residents and accounted for their whereabouts, but we know that there could be someone that moved into that park that is a convicted sex offender or a wannabe and has not registered, we all know if left up to them, they won't and wannabe's wait for a occasion to finally assault a child, I have a feeling of dread. Remember Brooke Bennett over the summer the girl from VT? I knew the minute her uncle was confirmed to be a registered SO, I knew that child was dead and I am feeling that here as much as I don't want it to be a reality but in this sick world where a SO get probation for raping kids, it empowers them to continue until just molesting and raping them is not enough then they murder them too either to cover up the crime or because killing them gives them a woody too! Lots of questions here kids.

Hey Ingason, I'm from AR and we're too frequently labeled hillbillies too.

The problem that I have with Cummings' actions on the night/morning of Haleigh's disappearance is that he couldn't/wouldn't/didn't seem to gain control of himself. Believe me, I've worked in some pretty dire situations, and when you sit the person down, encourage them to take a deep breath, and be strong, and focus on the issue at hand, and remind them that time is of the essence, they usually get a grip. This was not the case with this guy.

And all these days later, there seem to be more questions than answers with regard to Misty's everchanging renditions of the facts. It's hard not to judge and condemn anyone who jacks around LE and the media and the public.

Hey I agree to an extend. My daughter went missing when she was 4 at Disney World, noone could get me to calm down. So it may not be unreasonable for him to feel so helpless that he can't get himself to be rational to help LE. I am trying real hard not to make judgments yet because I am sure we do not have all the facts to this case yet and I want to be able to make a sound judgement before I condemn anyone. A lot of generalizing is being said regarding this case. No One should take offense to wind's post, ok. She is not saying your respective families are hillbillies, that You don't take care of your children or love them with all your heart.

What we are questioning is THIS family's way of life, and their care for the children. There are many disturbing things coming to light here....the father, the mother, the girlfriend.......the ages, everything. Are they being judged? Absolutely. In one way or another, good and bad, by anyone who comes on this thread and posts.
Everyone's input is important because it gives different sides to every story. You both have given your sides also....and what you are both saying is what we all have been discussing....there is GOOD and there is BAD in all walks of life.

No offense given, none taken, ok. BTW ~ I do have friends who are hillbillies ~ I love them dearly....and they take better care of their dogs than some parents (we have read about) take care of their kids.

Wind's 'venting' is from her heart, and that is not necessarily a bad thing, though I have a feeling she's almost out of steam on this one....

 Thanks for letting me give my nickels worth ~ hate to see bad feelings...(I'm a Libra, ya know..LOL)

Not to belabor the comments pertaining to Cummings but he sure has the makings of a rageaholic in my book. He said some pretty bad words regarding girl friend...I think the jury is out in this case; but I think it is going to get worse before it gets better. My concern, as always, is the care and protection of kids. Unless you are out there making home visits you might not realize the situation many of the kids are in. I, DO go to homes, I DO report to social services and I see and hear verbal abuse that is some ways is worse than physical abuse. So, yes, I am sensitive to what goes on in these situations.

I was not gonna post here but my big mouth got the best of me. Let me say I believe the Dad has nothing to do with the child going missing. And with all the missing children in Fl in the recent years who have been found dead I don't blame him for his historical behavior. It seems me me when someone does not cry enough, they are guilty, when they cry to much, they are guilty, what the F--k people. Everyone acts different when faced with a horrible situation. You don't know this guy, he may be a very emotional person. My husband studders when nervous or shocked, does that mean he is guilty of a crime. I on the other hand sit very still whith my hands over my mouth. I don't, cry, scream or faint. I guess I am guilty.

Now on the other hand I don't trust Misty. She is only 17 and God only knows what she might have done. If someone was watching the trailor, as a preditor might do, and they saw her leave and knew Dad was not home, that was a invitation to go take the little girl. Misty may be afraid to admit to her boyfriend that she went out. This I can believe.

I have heard other people say these people are trailor trash and it burns me up:flamemad: Does that mean if you are poor you don't love your children as much as the rich do. Why should their economical status even be discussed.

Just pray that they find this little girl alive and they catch the predator.

No, I do not believe because someone is rich they love their kids more. Money is not the deciding factor. Absolutely not; nor does it matter where you live.Good parenting crosses all economic status, education, race. Where I teach, in an impoverished city school, many of the parents are doing their best; just today I went to a housing project to deliver some books to one of my students. His parents will make sure he reads these books; they, like me, see all sorts of potential and are building on it.

Not sure why you picked my post in particular to misspell your way through a poorly thought out diatribe, but it's pretty obvious that you are one of several people who jump into the thread without taking time to read and/or comprehend what is being said here.

I haven't called these people trailer trash, and have repeatedly said that it's not Cummings' economical status in particular that is the problem here. The guy makes $10/hr and works forty to sixty hours per week plus collects $200+ per month in child support, that's a decent living.

The problem here is that the guy raged at the very authorities that he demanded locate his daughter, has either lied or obfuscated the facts of the matter, is a child rapist by Florida's legal standards, and has no respect for the very woman that he (seemingly/mistakenly) entrusted with the care of his daughter. If you were educated in social services, you would see that his "lifestyle" as so many people like to label it, is symptomatic of puttig children like Haleigh and Junior behind the eightball when it comes to the risks that their poorly educated parents inflict on them.

Since you seem to home in on my posts repeatedly to vent your idiotic and misplaced rage, you might want to think about putting me on ignore. I'd hate to be responsible for you having a stroke.

BTW, your big mouth didn't get the best of you. In fact the opposite. And like the very first post you ever made on this board, you make assumptions about what people do and don't pray about.

And I doubt Cummings knows "historical" from shinola.

I am not talking about hillbillies from AK, I am not talking about rednecks from GA, I am not talking about woodchucks from VT, I am talking about THIS FAMILY!!! I am not insulting anyone's kin here, I am talking about their lifestyle here and the fact that this girl is as dumb as a stump and Daddy entrusted her with the care of two young children! And the parents have domestic violence issues between them and they both have drug charges on their record. Mommy lost custody and he ends up with them and I have a problem with all of that. I may very well be wrong that Misti did not leave them alone, but being young and stuck all day with two kids, would you not want to at her age take off and have some fun? And being naive, she probably thought that the kids would be OK for a few hours and left and who knows if the door was even locked??

I still say it is somebody who either knows the family or possibly a SO who lives there and nobody knows that he is one because the park does not do background checks, or a wannabe on his first step toward evil. It has been 10 days and not one sighting of this poor child. I think that if she did leave them alone and is lying about it, she set LE back as to when she might have been snapped. She takes off say at 8:30 and does not come home till 3, that is a 5 hour window that the child was snapped in. No one right now knows when, because her stories have changed three times and Mark Klaas was right. "The truth never changes" and how true that is. I think she is afraid to say that she left them alone because she is scared of Ronnie's wrath not to mention LE. According to NG, CPS has been involved with this clan and is that not a surprise, but how in hell did he end up with custody with the FELONY charges he has??? Does CPS know this young girl was the caretaker??? Lots of questions here, and I am no longer going to express how I feel about them, I think I have said it all, I will wait until the child is found.

I don't see how anyone can blame either Ronald or Misty for Haleighs disappearance at this time. We don't have enough evidence. Who said Misty left the kids at home alone? Is that person being interrogated? It seems that if someone knows that Misty left the house, they wouldn't hesitate to give proof of it. If Misty did leave, I can't see a reason that LE would fail in getting the truth out of her by now.

Twenty-five years ago, I was mugged right outside of my house. My oldest brother ranted and raved that he was going to find that #$%^ and would have his eyeballs in a jar. I was road raged two years ago and was so distraut that I couldn't talk to the detective on the phone or the 911 operator without being hysterical. I don't fault the father for his reaction at the thought of his daughter being taken. Unless you have been the victim of a horrible crime, you don't know how difficult it it to try to be calm especially when you are being asked stupid questions and you don't feel anyone is helping you..

I felt a tad of empathy for the father today, he looks like he is ready to keel over, but maybe I am reading too much into this but did anyone pick up on his hesitation when asked if he believed if Misti was home all night? And I can tell ya, I have rarely seen where LE makes a person take a second polygraph, it is a LE tool, used to rule people out or make them number one suspect, and I find it strange unless they are thinking what I am. I can tell right off she is scared to death of him, you can tell by body language. Now also LE picked up one hell of a sex predator who is wearing a GPS and missed his curfew last night and today they got him, but at this time nothing from LE indicates they are looking at him. This guy creeps me out anyone see his picture?? I got up and checked the door!!! I still think that it is someone they know or someone that is a SO and not registered and living in the park. I am sure LE checked every trailer there, but you know how a SO's mind works. He could have been just crashing there and some fool is covering for him like Couey's disgusting sister did. If she had opened the door that day and told LE that Jessie was in the closet, that child would be alive today and I truly hate that woman!!! SO I think LE might be doubting Misti at this point and that is why they made her take a 2nd polygraph.

Sheriff: Arrested Sex Offender Not Linked To Missing Girl

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- The Putnam County Sheriff's Office held a press conference Thursday afternoon (watch it) to announce that a sex offender, who lives within a mile of Haleigh Cumming's home, was arrested, but said the arrest is not in connection with the 5-year-old's disappearance.

"I'm not going to excluded anybody from being not involved," Putnam County Sheriff Jeff Hardy said.

Sheriff Jeff Hardy said an arrest was made of 50-year-old Timothy Randolph Loucakis, a sex offender who lives near the home Haleigh disappeared from. When asked, he said the press conference was called because inquiries were being made about the arrest and, while they don't believe Loucakis to be connected to the disappearance, they wanted to get the information out...

Car Taken Into Custody In Haleigh Case

PUTNAM COUNTY, Fla. -- The search for missing 5-year-old Haleigh Cummings is in its tenth day. Eyewitness News has learned that a car was taken into custody by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, but they are not revealing where or when it was taken.

The Putnam County Sheriff's Office will follow up on more tips Thursday. Each day more tips and leads come into the sheriff's office.

"There was a tip earlier on which we had processed for evidence. But we do not want to get into any of the details on that, but it was processed by FDLE," said Dominick Pape of the FDLE. "At this point in time, we don't want to give out any more information in reference to that vehicle."

Detectives were tight-lipped when it came to giving detailed information on clues and tips that they're getting. They said releasing specifics could jeopardize the investigation.

The sheriff's office continues to question Ronald Cumming's live-in girlfriend, Misty Croslin. There were questions about whether or not she was home when Haliegh was abducted early last week.

Haliegh's mother, Crystal Sheffield spoke with WFTV reporter Mark Boyle about the possibility that no one was caring for her daughter...

I choose your posts because you are saying something I don't agree with. Quite frankly I did not even look at who posted it. It appears you do not believe anyone else has a right to and opinion unless it is yours. You also love to criticize repeately, example, my spelling. Who are you the spelling police? It didn't stop you from understanding what I was saying now did it?

You are a name caller and very childish. When I hone in on your post, so you say, I don't call you names. I don't even know what you are talking about when you bring up praying. I am not even a very religious person so I don't care who does or dosen't pray. I only quoted you once before and it had nothing to do with praying. It does not matter to me what Mr. Cummings is RUMORED to have done in the past, he is a free man so if he did anything wrong he served his time. He has the same rights as anyone else who has had a child taken and you should be ashamed of yourself for saying he put his children behind the eightball to have something like this happen.

If that is the case, Miss Loretta than why did this happen to Polly Klass and Jon B. Ramsey. Lady you have no idea what I have been educated in but I bet I know more than you about human behavior. I can tell you have a lot of built up anger and could benefit from anger management counciling. I feel very sorry for you, Do you ever smell the flowers or look at a beautifull blue sky, sunset, rainbow or a sweet baby. Try it you might mellow out a little.

Sometimes I wonder what requirements are necessary to become a 911 operator.........anyone know?

Too many times we have heard 911's acting like they have some kind of mental deficiency or incredulously asking a screaming caller the most wierd things. Indifference seems to be the biggest problem. Remember a couple of years ago, the 911 was caught snoring, for gods sake.

Others are heros because of how wonderful they handled certain calls. I think it's certainly one job that if you don't like what you're doing..get the heck out.

If someone is incoherent, or you can't get anything out of them, just be compassionate, I guess. It's not a job I think I would want on a long term basis ~ too emotional. It would seem the person on the other end couldn't 'help' you...a frustrating place to be.............

Misty's back for questioning...seems like they are working on her to fess up something

I listen to my scanner a lot and know several dispatchers and operators and my county has some of the best; really dedicated and well-trained.

Operators are asking callers for information to give to LE going to or on the scene, and they are also trying to help the person focus on what is at hand. In the case of a missing person, the information being gathered such as DOB and physical descriptions is for the purpose of an Amber Alert or Silver Alert (in the case of the elderly). There are no stupid questions although if there is a communication gap or the victim is difficult to understand or is uncooperative it can seem that way.

The training or requirements for 911 dispatch operators differ from place to place. The biggest thing is that they are told to get the cars or boxes dispatched so they usually get the address first if it doesn't come up when they answer the call. In some cases, they can get a hysterical person to calm down by getting them to think to answer what might appear to be weird questions. They sort of distract them by asking questions if you will.

I think that LE knows more than they are saying, that they know that Misti knows more than she is telling, and I find it really strange that Misti found the Teeshirt in the house, by the back door, in the dirty clothing pile. At least that is what the mom says.

As to the relatives that visited the night Haleigh went missing, they were there at 7:00 p.m. That leaves a large window of opportunity for anyone to do anything.

Stupid questions??

Questions that you may think are irrelevant at the time. For example, when I was road raged, I was describing what kind of car the guy who was chasing me drove, the 911 operator asked me if I felt it was necessary to talk to an officer. No, I called 911 because I needed to know the time? Or when I smelled smoke and saw fire in my neighbor's yard, I called 911 and I told the operator that I rang the phone and door bell and no one answered, and I was asked if anyone was home. It's frustrating.

Well, I can tell you that in my county, the dispatcher will sometimes report a call to the zone officer, and state that the caller/victim did not wish to speak to an officer (yet they did call to make LE aware), and the request is for the officer to "check to his satisfaction". Questions about whether or not anyone is home may be to elicit a response about the neighbor's schedule, or vehicles in the driveway or do you suspect that they are home.

I guess I'm one of those people who thinks that there are no stupid questions, only stupid answers.

Guys, It can be extremely hard as one who has been a 911 operator to talk to people at times especially when they are hysterical, mad, or breaking up like on a cell phone. The first thing you have to do is ascertain what you have, even if you have a hysterical person on the line, you have to find out why they are flipping out and where they are, who's hurt, etc. I listened to Ronnie's call and the operator was doing her job, I know she was trying to get Haleigh's description and age and height, and she was telling them officers were on the way, but if it was me I would have waited on that a bit till I could get him calmed down enough to tell me. It was conflicting with both of them talking to the operator, she was trying to get info from Misti and if you ask me, she did not know much for a person taking care of this child, she had no idea if the door looked like it was forced open till Ronnie told her no. It is hard when you have a person telling you that they have a missing child, they are not going to be of sound mind, Cindy was flipping out when she reported Caylee missing, they are gonna scream at you to get someone there now, and despite the fact you tell them officers are on the way, they will still tell you over and over, "Where are they? Get them here now"

It is hard but you have to take control of the call, stay with them till officers get there, keep telling them that help is on the way and if you can get them calm then ask more questions if you can. Every call is different, you can't base a call you had last week that was similar and use that, Ronnie was losing it right from the word go and it was hard on the operator because she was getting bits and pieces and I am sure she was glad when the officers got there and she could disconnect the call, but I guarantee that call is still on her mind. You disconnect the call, but you don't disconnect if that makes any sense to anyone. And the operator could not tell the responding officers as to what time the child was actually taken and if Misti has indeed lied about her whereabouts, she has really done stepped in it big time. If she was gone, who can say when the child was taken. The little boy was probably sleeping and has no clue. I hope for Haleigh's sake that she has not lied, time is ticking by here and crucial time has already passed.

I've called 911 two times and in both cases it was a waste of time. Each time the incident was happening where there was no address. That seemed to stump the operator so I went for help somewhere else. If you see something happening on a highway between cities, 911 may not be the number to call.

Hey, Wind! I get it. Most people here do get it and understand where you're coming from. It is a given that we will step on some toes at times and our own toes may be stepped upon. That's the way life is. We cannot and/or should not always agree. Mark Klaas tells it like it is and he's been through hell. He believes these people are of questionable character and I agree. It's THIS family AND others like them that choose lifestyles that endanger their kids. ;)

I am thinking that Misty is very, very fortunate that Ronnie did not physically assault her before LE got there the night Haleigh was taken. Knowing cops were on the way is probably the only thing that saved her.

My guess was he was to busy hiding the pot and pipes before the LE got there.

New tip points towards Tennessee

- Ronald Cumming’s and his family made another emotional plea Thursday for Haleigh Cummings to come home.

More than 1300 tips have come in over the last 10 days since the five year old went missing in the middle of the night.

One of those tips came from Tennessee.

On Sunday a woman called Knoxville police to say around 2pm she saw a man in a Knoxville restaurant with a little girl. The woman said she looks like the missing Florida girl

She added that the man was in a red RAV4 and looked like he was shielding her from the public.

Knoxville police said they didn't find that car, but turned the information over to Florida authorities. Thursday the Putnam County sheriff said he has not located the people this woman said she saw.

Detectives in Putnam County have seized a car and are processing it in the case but said they would not discuss a vehicle description.

The tip is interesting since one of the people being questioned in the case is a cousin of Mistie Croslin's, the 17 year old girlfriend of the missing girl’s father. The cousin is from Tennessee and was visiting when Haleigh disappeared.

DrewI do agree with your post, but one thing I have noticed and am grateful for, this mom and dad are truly in panic mode and frightened to death of what their daughter could be or have gone through, totally unlike that beetch Caysee Anthony.

Back in the mid 70's I was a dispatcher in a small Southern town; Mostly accidents, fender benders in the Piggly Wiggly parking lot, kids putting spikes on the railroad tracks, the alarm going off at Finkles. Everything is so quite for a while you can read the entire Sunday Atlanta Journal, then all hell breaks loose at one time. That was my life as a 911 operator. When emergencies happen they happen big. But every call is serious and has to be taken that way. I also had to ring the warning bells for the volunteer fire dept. :) Yes small town America before the days of technology.

Thanks Drew. There's a big difference in musing on a message board and being met at the front door by some tough guy who burns kids with cigarettes and tries to intimidate an advocate with a baseball bat in one hand and a 2X4 in the other.

The risks that children face come in many forms; some are barely recognizable. God bless the little ones and give LE the determination and knowledge to bring Haleigh to safety.

Haleigh's Family Living In Tents During Search

PUTNAM COUNTY, Fla. -- Eyewitness News spoke with Haleigh's family Thursday about how they are coping. They are living in a tent, about 15-by-15 (see images). Coolers are full of water and drinks and inside is where the family is living, because their mobile home down the street is still a crime scene.

New information was released Thursday about the pink shirt Haleigh was last reported wearing. Ronald Cummings' grandmother, Annette Sykes, told Eyewitness News earlier this week deputies allowed Misty Croslin back inside the mobile home where Haleigh was abducted.

Good post, Woostock. ITA. It seems that there are many of us here that work in social services and do in-home visits. We've all seen some pretty ugly stuff and have insight that others simply don't get. We get pretty good at recognizing patterns of behaviors like Ronald's.
I commend all that are out there trying to help the innocent kids. :)

I was thinking that OS, when I was reading your post. I always catch the Libra in you :)

I see the hurt when the bigotry hits the wall anywhere. We are only human and we get nuts when we see kids go missing, it's true. Sometimes we put judgements before understanding (Guilty ya honna!:seeya:)

I'm gonna get on Nawny's soap box now.

Our society today it's come to light that we all have to watch the kids better. I don't care if you're a redneck, a purple neck or a hillbilly. Kids are not safe. Maybe they never were, maybe we weren't. There was not always the media coverage we are seeing today. There are a lot of little ones in my life and I want to buy them leashes. I count them every time they're here. ...every few minutes. There are 5 of them.

I live on a hill, in a historic part of town. It's fairly quiet. Not rural. Not suburbs or city. It's in between. I see and hear firetrucks if you know what I mean, but my neighborhood is not zoned for business on my street. SO I watch the kids closely for all those reasons and no matter where we are, I watch them closely. We have to. It's scary out there. Just pain ole scary.

Climbing off the soap box.

I personally would never think of it this way, but Crystal told NG that she feels that the person who took Haleigh dressed her in clean clothes before leaving the trailer with her. In other words, they pulled the pink shirt off. ???

LE may think it's possible because they say they have the shirt.

Although I don't believe RC had anything to do with it , I do agree it's important to take a look at all aspects including economical aspects. To me RC's 911 call, dating an underage girl, not staying with his mom like the custody papers states;shows me a lack of respect for not only his family but law enforcement. In my experience this is the way people with a long history of criminal and addictive behavior acts. I too do HV and it's very emotional and draining. Poor babies crawling around meth filled needles and dead animals. It's horrible. So if one of their kids went missing, yes, we would look at those factors. Just like we are trying to look at all aspects here.
Oh and if they were rich and had a huge house you would look at those factors. Do the kidnappers want ransom, was it a business deal gone bad.
Anyways, if people call them trailer trash, it's probably because they are frustrated. There is a 5 year old girl out there and it hits home for alot of us. :(

Interesting that talking heads get paid for opinions, popular or otherwise, but posters who have common sense and experience in the field get bashed.

Mark Klaas is a class act. He came up against one of the most evil and despicable killers this country has ever known; no one will likely ever forget Richard Allen Davis' statement to MK.

I get chills whenever I think of Davis' statement to Mark Klaas. That is the closest we will probably ever come to seeing the perp executed in court.

NG said tonite that theyare staying in a tent because they have no place to go. That is not true, is it? He has a mother and grandmother and probably friends. Isn't he staying because he says he won't leave there til Haleigh comes home?

Cummings testified in the custody hearing that his mom's house has five bedrooms, so I was curious as to why he's not staying there until his place is cleared by LE. Seems like that would be much better for Junior.

I do agree with your post, but one thing I have noticed and am grateful for, this mom and dad are truly in panic mode and frightened to death of what their daughter could be or have gone through, totally unlike that beetch Caysee Anthony.

Light, I agree that Ronald and Crystal seem to be in panic mode as they should. I applaud your service to your community. I know I couldn't perform the skills that are needed for 911 operator. :)

Investigators Question Relative of Misti Croslin in Tennessee

PUTNAM COUNTY, FL -- Following tips on a possible Haleigh sighting in Tennessee, the Putnam County Sheriff's Office has questions for someone who lives there. He is a relative of Misti Croslin, the girlfriend of Haleigh's father and the last known person who saw the child the night she disappeared.

The tip came in that someone spotted a girl matching Haleigh Cummings' description in a Carrabba's in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Witnesses report that a man with the girl shielded her face. They are said to have left in a red Toyota Rav4 with a Florida license plate.

Thursday, deputies picked up Croslin for another round of questioning. She was at the sheriff's department for five hours.

Sheriff Jeff Hardy will not say how Misti Croslin and the person in Tennessee are related, or if that person is a sex offender...

Raw Video of Press Conference on Day 10 of Haleigh's Disappearance

PUTNAM COUNTY, FL -- Sheriff Jeff Hardy announced the arrest Thursday of a sexual predator who lives in Haleigh Cummings' neighborhood. At this time they say they don't believe he is connected to the child's disappearance.

GPS shows Timothy Randolph Loucakis was either in his home or in his yard the night Haleigh disappeared. Deputies arrested him last night for violating his curfew and searched his house for a third time.

Cummings testified in the custody hearing that his mom's house has five bedrooms, so I was curious as to why he's not staying there until his place is cleared by LE. Seems like that would be much better for Junior.

A tent for either side (Crystal or Ronald) seems a little out there, but I suppose getting a motel (Crystal) could get pretty expensive. Except, where do HER folks live? Cuz, she and her mom WERE talking about the interior of the mobile home (the bedroom) like she had lived there. Altho it comes out Ronald had lived in that particular home for only 3 weeks?

But, for Ronald and Junior and whomever else to also be in a tent when his mom and doesn't his grandmom? live right there in town, is a little odd to me. I got to thinking about his only being in that home for 3 weeks--so, possibly he and the kids WERE living w/his mom up to that point, and it has only been 3 weeks that Misti has had the care of the kids full time? While they might have been dating for 4-5 months, they might only have been living together the 3 weeks.

I only watched a smidgeon--and this seemed to be what I caught. He had a naughty boy grin as he said something to her--and she paused for a second and said, "I want to ask Crystal......." and she just ignored him. I don't remember what was being said, but it does seem she didn't have a come back to him.

In yesterday's press briefing at 3:00 p.m. the reporter asked the sheriff if it was a red Rav 4 that they had in custody. He wouldn't answer that question. He also said that the relative in Tennessee had not been designated a sexual offender or predator, but that they were talking to that person.

Now here is something that I did find very interesting in the interview with Ronald. He said that there was no fight with a relative over a gun. He refused to answer any personal questions at all, other than to say that it is possible that he has another child.

But yet members of his family are insisting that there was a fight with the relative over a gun and said gun was found in a ditch later. That he and Misti had a fight and had broken up shortly before Haleigh went missing. And that DCF( children's services) had been investigating the household for abuse at some point.

You are right about those of us who actually face these issues and cry for the kids....I could write a book about some of the situations I come across and many a day I have confronted so called parents about how they are letting their kids down. You really have to be there to see it. So yes, I do feel
Haleigh was let down. I also read where dad was supposed to be living with his mom....I sometimes ask myself would I be comfortable leaving my new grandaughter in a particular environment; that is sort of a litmus test for me.

1. Have the police or anyone questioned Junior? Apparently, he was sleeping right next to her and might have seen or heard something. Also, if the girlfriend was up to no good he would be able to tell someone.

2. What was wrong with the other two bedrooms? Why are they all sleeping in one room all the time?

I don't agree with everything that you (or anyone else) posts either. But at least I have enough sense not to attribute comments to the wrong poster. I have never called any of the victims trailer trash.

No I'm not the spelling police, but I do struggle to understand comments such as Mr. Cummings being "historical". Did you perhaps mean hysterical? I didn't say that you honed in on my post, I said that you homed in on my post. There is actually a difference.

It is not a rumor that Cummings is guilty of statutory rape at least twice. Look at Crystal's and Misty's ages and look at Florida law. We're talking fact. Or trying to.

I don't just smell the flowers I grow them. Leroy and I watch the sunset that we are fortunate enough to have a beautiful view of almost every single night together.

You have repeatedly made comments to posters instructing them to pray as if you know that they don't. Are you psychic on top of being judgmental?

We are all allowed to post our opinions here. Mine are based on facts, the law and my experiences as a caseworker who has seen the same red flags in the homes of neglected and abused children that are showing up in the Cummings home. I am not ashamed for saying that his choices have put his children behind the eightball, and the likes of you won't make me feel that way.

ETA: I have never said that JBR's parents or PK's parents had anything to do with their murders or causing them. Have no idea where you got that. LMAO at your expertise in human behavior and the suggestion that I need anger management. Me thinks you need another board break; it's getting to you again.

Since you completly missed my point regarding PK and JBR let me explain it to you. In simple terms that you can understand. You are stating that Mr. Cummings put his child behind the eightball because of the way he lives. This same thing happens to other children who had families who did not put their children behind the 8 ball, as you state, and PK and LBR are two of them. They came from Middle Class and Upper Middle Class families. However, they were still taken from their house and/or beds. And their families were at home. Do you get it now.

As far as Mr. Cummings being guilty of Statatory Rape, this is a RUMMOR, he has not been convicted of any such thing. You are stating it like it is fact and it is not. In this country we are innocent until proven guilty.

Why are you so stuck on this praying thing, are you the praying police to. I never tell people to pray, that is almost laughable because I am not a religious person. Maybe you don't believe in God. You are probable one of those people who are glad American children are not allowed to say the Lords Prayer every morning in school. Gee, sometimes it's hard to miss a freak's point when they are ranting and raving. PK's murderer was one of the most evil we've seen. I don't think anything could have prevented RAD from killing her or someone else. Her murder had nothing to do with her parents' ability to protect or provide for her. I do believe that JBR's parents endangered her by having her in the pageant circuit. I have never stated that only low economic status children are victims. Don't know how in the world you got that. Oh wait, you have comprehension problems, obviously.

Cummings has never been charged with statutory rape to my knowledge. If you have information that he has been and that he was exonerated, please post it. I have posted links to FL laws which prove that he should have been, Crystal was a minor when he impregnated her, and unless he and Misty are celibate (even though they share a bed), he is committing a felony once again. I never stated that Cummings has been convicted of statutory rape. Don't know how in the world you go that. Oh wait, you have comprehension problems, obviously.

You continually make comments about who and what people should be praying for, however you have no idea who or what people are praying for, so you really should get off your soapbox on that score. I have never stated that people shouldn't pray about anything. Don't know how in the world you got that. Oh wait, you have comprehension problems, obviously.

Girlfriend's Cousin Under Investigation In Haleigh Case

PUTNAM COUNTY, Fla. -- The Putnam County Sherriff's Office says that the FBI is investigating Misty Croslin's cousin. Eyewitness News learned Thursday that Misty Croslin's cousin, known as "Joe" was in town the night Haleigh disappeared.

There are now questions about what role Joe may have played in the disappearance. After the little girl vanished, he took off to Tennessee.

WFTV reporter Mark Boyle briefly spoke with Misty Croslin about her cousin (watch it | images).

"You said you don't trust him, why?" asked Boyle...

Tip Leads To New Search For Haleigh Cummings

PUTNAM COUNTY, Fla. -- A new tip led to a new ground search for missing 5-year-old Haleigh Cummings Friday and an army of deputies searched a wooded area just a few hundred yards from her home.

Putnam County sheriff's deputies stopped all physical ground searches for Haleigh Cummings last Monday, but Friday morning Eyewitness News found a search team in Satsuma in a parking lot and followed behind them.

The tip that led law enforcement to the wooded area came in overnight. Officers from all over, including Flagler County Fire Rescue, showed up early Friday morning to begin the search.

There were more than 70 searchers, some with walking sticks. Eyewitness News was the only TV news crew in the woods when the search began.

"We're going to move to the north, which will be to our right all the way down this road, double arms length apart. The go signal is going to be 'move,'" the search leader announced.

The group met briefly Friday morning and then lined up on a dirt road.

Haleigh Cummings has been missing for almost two weeks and, so far, no luck in tracking her down. There are new leads, though.

The FBI is investigating Misty Croslin's cousin in Tennessee about his possible role in the abduction. Croslin's cousin was in Satsuma the night Haleigh vanished and then went back to Tennessee...

I thought Mike Brooks gave it back to her a little on tonight's show. Did anyone else notice?

MIKE BROOKS, CNN SECURITY ANALYST: Absolutely, Nancy. And if it was a child predator, registered sex offender, that would be in that codice (ph), the national database of people from local, state, and federal who have been through the system.

One thing I just want to point out, Nancy, that 911 call we were listening to with Ronald Cummings, something struck me when I was listening to it just this last time. When they were talking -- the dispatcher was talking to him, he said, you all are F-ing playing games. If he`s talking to Misty, who is "you all"? "You all" is plural. Who is he talking about?

GRACE: Well, why would you think he`s talking to the girlfriend? Because my interpretation of that call was he was PO`d at the 911 operator, and I don`t blame him. They`re screaming, my daughter`s gone, my daughter`s gone, and they`re going, what`s her DOB?

BROOKS: Right. Now -- but -- exactly, but -- that`s OK, but they`ve got cars on the way. That`s the way they do, they can type it in while cars are going. In fact, from the dispatcher, it was -- the call was received at 3:27, dispatched at 3:28.

GRACE: You know, Brooks, Brooks, save it. I`ve been in the dispatch office. I`ve seen.

BROOKS: Did you see the police report, too, Nancy?

GRACE: Yes.

BROOKS: When he called his girlfriend?

GRACE: Yes. And? And?

BROOKS: OK. Well, there has got to be some reason why he was calling -- when he told the police "my dumb `B` girlfriend," and he called her that on the dispatch tapes. There was something else going on there, Nancy, I guarantee it.

GRACE: I hate to shatter your illusions, but that type of language amongst live-ins, married people, boyfriend-girlfriend, is not all that unusual, especially in a pressurized situation, right?

BROOKS: Oh, OK. I don`t know what -- no, whatever you say. You must have experience, because apparently, I don`t.

http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0902/19/ng.01.html

It was the exchange with Brooks that I was referring to, I can't believe that Nancy is not only defending Cummings, but slagging on the 911 operator. She thinks it's okay for Cummings to disparage Misty and doesn't find any irony there? And what does she think the operator should do? Fire Cummings up even further? Tell him to grab his gun and go after whoever stole his daughter??

The only thing mising from this segment was NG referring to her victim status for the umpteenth time and trying to somehow connect the 911 system with the death of her fiance.

MB does a great job when he emcees for Nancy because he is respectful even when he disagrees. I thought his interpretation of the call was good because it was something I hadn't considered.

It was completely irresponsible of Nancy and HNN to use Loucakis' arrest as a bombshell lure to watch her BS last night. (And there I sat and watched anyway!)

Nancy as a defense attorney? Only in Bizzarro World! I think she says what she does to take the heat off Haleigh's family. She takes her own victim status and applies even when it doesn't apply.

ETA: Love your username! :hat:

Cummings testified in the custody hearing that his mom's house has five bedrooms, so I was curious as to why he's not staying there until his place is cleared by LE. Seems like that would be much better for Junior.

Now why would anyone steal a little girl and keep her fed, clean, clothed and entertained for all this time?

Unless it's a nutcase who wants a five year old to show the world she has a five year old and, the odds are against that. Five year old children are pretty high maintenance.

At that age they already have clothing preferences, special foods they prefer, toys, a short attention span, and they talk a lot.

Does anyone here think she is still with us? If so, just :punch: me.. I'm guessing with what I know about five year old little girls, that she's with Caylee right now.

I saw Misti on the Today show and Matt was asking her some questions and it was all she could do to answer him, very stilted answers like she is sick and tired of people in her face asking questions and speculating whether she was home all night that night and I still am. Matt asked her and it was like she did not want to answer that one and I saw the big tent they have been staying in and I heard today somebody gave them an RV, that was nice of someone to do that. I have completely ruled out Ronnie and Chrystal, they would never win any parent awards but it is clear to me they do love Haleigh. My problem lies with Misti. Now today, she says she does not know much about her own cousin and says she does not trust him and I am thinking, then why in hell did you let him in your house? And while the fact that he is or isn't a sex offender has not been established by LE as of yet, but the very fact he left town the day Haleigh went missing gives me cause for pause. When asked by Matt whether he is a SO, she says she doesn't know, and isn't this the cousin that possibly molested her? If so, why in God's name would you bring kin or no kin that is a SOi nto a home with young children???? Did she think that he would not touch Haleigh? I hope this is not the case, she takes off and he comes back and snaps the kid. Once again, another day of questions without answers.

We have been on this case since the moment we heard of Haleigh's disappearance, but I'm getting a bit confused here.

I wanted to know how you all feel Misty was culpable in this. I feel either she: 1) left for awhile and left the door open......or 2) left the door unlocked after partying there with others, who knew she didn't lock the door, and came back and took Haleigh.

Do you feel she did something herself? (I don't). I do feel she is lying about the door, which is where her responsibility is in all this. I don't think that is, by law, a crime, or makes her even an accessory........so she couldn't be charged. That is, if she didn't leave the home. If she left those kids alone, that would be negligence, wouldn't it? Ron would kill her if he found that out, so she won't admit it.

Ron's mom said he does not want to leave the tent area because he wants to stay right next to their house where she disappeared from. That is why he will not leave the tent. Of course, he could go with family..he does Not want to. I feel really bad for Junior..his birthday last Sunday, Haleigh missing, and this kid's head is probably spinning.

Cousin Joe, sighting in Tennesse of Haleigh in a red Rav4..what's the chances he did this? Would this SOB kill her? I don't know much about him other than SO...someone fill me in.

I saw someone on another board whining about the criticisms of Misty and the assertion is that she is just shy and that's why she doesn't answer questions. I applaud the Cummings family for continuing to ask for her safe return, but they would have to be completely naive if they think that the public (who is footing the bill for the searches) isn't inflamed by the choices Ronald has made. He would do well to make a recorded statement and not take any questions at this time, because people are not going to let go of his "personal issues". Good grief, he doesn't even know how many children he has?

I'm not just wondering about the cousin's visit and how long he was in town, and what the purpose of his trip to FL was, but I'm curious about the alleged argument over the gun and whether or not the gun's having been found has been verified by LE.

Anyone?

Haleigh :rose:

I think it's possible that Ron lied about the door; he stated once that he doesn't know what's in his back yard (although a pile of cinder blocks is out there), and that he only uses the back yard to wash his car. Well, did he wash his car that day? Is that why the door had to be dead-bolted?

I think it's possible that Misty either went out the door, propped it open and left the children alone, to meet someone, and for that she would be criminally negligent. I also think it's possible that she left the door open for someone to visit and something happened while the visitor was in the house, for which she might also be criminally negligent (since she doesn't appear to have been overpowered or injured for instance). I think it's possible that Misty or someone left the door unlocked out of forgetfulness or stupidity and there is neglect but it isn't criminal.

I think Misty has lied in the past and that's why she is continually being questioned by LE and administered more than one polygraph. While people add details to or embellish the recounting of a crime, they rarely subtract from the story if they were telling the truth to begin with. I don't think this child is smart enough to continue fooling LE, but I do think it's possible that she is afraid of repercussions by LE and Cummings if for instance it was her cousin or some other untrustworthy perp that she allowed inside the house that night.

I don't think LE has verified that Joe is a RSO or what kind of car has been impounded. I got the impression that the impounded car is in FL, but that the red Toyota RAV4 was sighted in TN.

Yes, I agree! I am nearly at a loss for words over the lack of basic, commom sense. I know that Misti is young, but honestly--to let this cousin you don't trust,( SO or not, she does not trust him), come into the home where little children are? Wonder if Ron knew the cousin was at his house and of his (alleged) background? I go back and forth on Ron. I don't think he had anything to do with Haleigh's disappearance--directly. Lots of bad decisions made by this fellow that I won't go into because they've all been posted already.

I'm just so worried about this little girl. I am beginning to dread hearing the news or checking these boards because I am afraid of hearing/reading bad news.

Adding together today and yesterday's press conferences with the Sheriff's Office and what Ron and his mother said, this is what I have so far.

The cousin in Tenn is not designated a SO, he has been interviewed extensively and he is currently in Tenn.

A reporter asked if the Sheriff's department had a red Rav4 in their custody and they would only confirm that they did take a car into custody.

Misty said on the Today show interview that her cousin was bad and that he is a lifetime criminal but would not give details.

Misti is not staying at the tent, she is staying with her family.

Ron doesn't want to talk about his private life anymore.

I am waiting to hear on HN whether there is anything more about "Cousin Joe" and if LE has him in their sights. If he is a SO and came to the residence that day, who's to say he did not scope out the house, where the doors are, bedrooms and how easy it is to access the children's room in retrospect to the back door. I stand with everyone here now 11 days later, that I think that Misti is deathly afraid to tell anyone especially his reaction that she was not home all night, I could tell by her body language that she is holding something back and I think that is what it is. I won't even venture a guess that she has seen his rage already and what he said to her the night HC went missing, he called her a dumb b***h, it is on record on the 911 call, makes me think that she knows he would probably want to kill her and I think LE knows, and are not ready to release that info, hence the second polygraph, they have some serious doubts of their own.

If she did lie, she did a serious injustice to this little girl, not one soul except for the abductor is going to know what time she went missing, and the fact that the pink shirt she told LE she was wearing was found in the house or outside, did not get a straight answer from Misti this a.m. about that, and if she does come clean, it won't matter much now, maybe the day after, but cops have no clue as to what time she was taken or even what she was wearing!!! I don't know how good of a "Mommy" she was, but could you be cooped up day after day with two young kids when you are just one yourself? It would drive me crazy, but at 17 the last thing I wanted was a kid and I sure as hell was not about to hook up with a man 8 years older than me with two kids!! I think she thought she could leave and they would be fine alone and that makes me sick.

My god-daughter the one that was murdered by the drunk driver was three and her mother and I were hanging laundry on the line and she asked if she could walk the dog around the yard and we were like yeah, and about three minutes later we hear a vehicle locking up brakes and we look out to the road and there is Rae Rae standing in the road with her poodle and a 10 wheeler beer truck sideways! Scared 10 years off our lives! We took our eyes off her for 3 minutes tops!!! That is how long it can take for disaster to happen with a child. Now she had been warned not to go near the road, but she was a baby, when we asked her why she did it after holding onto to her for dear life for about 4 minutes and she says in all her innocence that she saw a pretty butterfly that she wanted to hold.

Now poor Haleigh here did not walk out that door on her own speed. I just saw more of the Today show interview and Matt asks Misti about "Cousin Joe" and she tells him (I missed this part, got an important call at that moment) that he is a criminal and that she does not know if Joe would take HC. HUH????? If this bird is such a dirtbag, then why did she bring him into the home??? She is more dumb than I thought. I do not allow anyone in my home that has a major prison record, I sure as hell do not know any SO's personally other than the dirtbags I had to deal with in my career and believe you me I did not even want to look at them, never mind talk to them, and as for anyone coming into my home when my godkids were present that I did not know they were not coming through the door, I was more than aware even with the older ones what lurked out there and I was super overprotective and still am!! It is so bad these days, you practically have to sit shotgun in your own yard watching your kids play, Christopher Barrios was taken from his yard in broad daylight by an evil POS CSO and his POS parents and his granny was right inside the trailer, 5 feet away!!!! That case broke my heart and I sent money to his family towards the burial, lawyer bills, whatever. And what kills me is that trailer park did not do background checks either and if the had done so, they would not have let them live there, they had been evicted from another hood because Sonny and Daddy are CSO's and this park just lets them move in packed with kids. The park owner should have been held accountable for letting these evil racist pigs into that park. SO I think right about now that LE is focusing on "Cousin Joe" and also Misti's crap stories.

Ron doesn't want to talk about his private life anymore.

uh oh,someone must have asked ron something, he didn't want to answer.i had not heard the last part.

And I doubt Cummings knows "historical" from shinola.Okay I am going to put my two cents in on this. I think that the guys behavior is kind of inappropriate and that he could not be calmed down to cooperate is well I think it reflects on him having a rage problem. I have heard people on 911 calls get frustrated and aggravated but not to the extent this guy does. I am going to say I do not think he had anything to do with his daughters disappearance other than I find it kind of disturbing he told a judge his mother would be watching these children and he choose to have his 17 year old girlfriend to do the job. I am not blaming him nor calling him a hillbilly and I don't see where Loretta did either. I know this is going to sound snobby but this would not be the type of folks I would want to hang out with nor break bread. . That being said, I am sure all of us want her to be found and do not blame the father directly. But his rage at the police is just kind of misplaced. I also agree that he is a child rapist. She moved in with him when she was 16! There are laws for a reason. And he obviously put his children at risk entrusting her to a 16 year old girl. That says more about this guy than what he makes or what he does or how he speaks. And the girlfriend seems either uneducated or something.. Her story is all over the place.

Because this is what uneducated, ignorant people do, instead of what they should be doing...looking out for #1 ~ namely, those kids. Our point all along.I concur. I have a cousin who is a convicted pedophile and if I had children he would not. I repeat, not be allowed to be around them. If she had him in that trailer at any time or around those children, bad, bad news. It gives pedophiles a chance to get fixated on a child.

Anyone? Now they are saying he did have a fight over a gun. And Ronald denies this. If it is true and he is lying, this is so aggravating ,because it indicates he lied about the fight over the gun and probably did not want to get himself in trouble ,so he lied about possible important evidence. He wants his child back but he does not want to be honest with LE, because it would get him in trouble. Bad news. .....

LOL I'm saying that I don't know when Joe was interviewed, but I wonder if the interview is what led to the new searches today. It's hard not to be sad. Even if you discount the statistics in missing children cases, you know that Haleigh needs to be found safe and sound. It's possible that Joe told LE that he couldn't have possibly taken Haleigh because he was south of town fishing, drinking beer and smoking ciggies and they simply went out to verify his story.

First of all don't believe everything that NG says.

Secondly, the two searches today were conducted by Law Enforcement officers only. There were no volunteers. They won't have him along on a LE only search. One search was based on a tip that they received and the other one was in the area that the SO that they arrested was in after Haleigh disappeared.

What Ron and his family are going to have to understand is that sooner or later, people are going to accept that the little girl is gone and no amount of searching is going to bring her back.

Woostock, I have spoken before about my beautiful goddaughter whose life was snuffed out by a drunk, high, illegal alien while on spring break from college where she was studying to be a vet and this scumbag took her life because he made a selfish choice and to add insult to injury,. his lawyer simply just wanted him deported and that was all the action he wanted to see happen and luckily a judge and 12 people did not see it that way and he is in for life, he should have gotten the DP!!! WHOW! Been watching NG and something got to me. The SO they arrested who jumped curfew, now he lives within a mile of the home and he is wearing a GPS ankle bracelet and FL has Mark Lunsford to thank for that, he had it passed through the legislature to require SO's to wear one, and they were talking about his zone, yeah, far does that zone extend? One mile, two, three?? I had a neighbor who had to wear one of those bracelets and she could only go outside in the driveway, we had storage units on the property and she went out there to put stuff in one and the cops showed right up because the bracelet notified the law that she was beyond her zone so I am curious as to how far his is. And who is to say this scumbag did not breeze through the park? Trailer parks equal lots of kids. And did anyone get a gander at his mug? OMG! He scares the crap out of me!!! Now Ronnie is denying that he and the cuz here got into it over a gun, maybe one reason he is denying this, is he is a felon, and felons can not possess weapons especially handguns. In VT, they can't even use hunting rifles, black powder duck guns or even possess a pellet gun so I think Ronnie is trying to shine that one on. Now I know George went up to see what he could do, but I am really surprised we have not seen Mark Lunsford lending support, seeing as his daughter disappeared under similar circumstances?? I would have thought he would have been right there on the first day and I did feel sad for Ron today, no one showed up to help him search and I guess he is staying in the tent today, probably pretty discouraged. And Misti is staying with her family not with him, wonder why. As for Haleigh sightings, we all know that no one in Beer Fart OK or Toe Suck IA ever saw Caylee like they thought they did, however good their intentions and I hope people do not get these people's hopes up only to be dashed, the sighting in TN might turn out to be nothing, lots of little blond girls in the world. I fear this child is dead though much as I don't want to, the first 48 hours are so crucial and what LE does not have is an exact time she went missing, nor do they have accurate clothing descriptions and was it just me or did Misti get a little defensive when asked by Matt about the pink shirt??? First she tells LE that is what H was wearing when she put her to bed, and then it is found among dirty clothes? You guys that are parents who might have just put their kids down for the night? Know what they are wearing??? Of course you do. Also do we really know that all the doors were locked?? And the cinder block still bothers me. No one is going to visit somebody, figure out where the back door is, scope out the back yard to see the blocks unless they were up to no good. According, just now, from Neves that the laundry room is where the back door is, not the bedroom and how close is this room to the child's bedroom??? Or the adults???

Neves is saying the pink t shirt was in the basket of dirty clothes which is right next to the back door. If you were washing clothes you would be in the back door.....did Misty just pluck it out of the pile, because she saw it there, or because she had put it there? Why then say she was wearing the pink t shirt, Misty?

they had that car & no one knew, until the press conference & the only reason that reporter asked about a car, was because the car tip came from the press ...the spokesman said i don't know if we still have that car & then the other man said yes we do.... so how long had they had the car, before the question?

I'd like to know who has the car; FL or TN officials? If FL has it, how did Joe get back to TN? I think there must be a second car that has been examined, but we don't know about it. Or I'm more lost than I thought. It seems like the more information we get, the less we know.

on NG :
now they are calling joe " an alleged cousin"
how can you be an alleged cousin?

Dunno. I'm still trying to wrap my head around the fact that Cummings doesn't know how many children he has.

And it's interesting that Misty knows this guy is not to be trusted and is a career criminal, but doesn't know his last name.
