Thank you Bob, I saw this article somewhere and it was posted on 9/6. I think NG's show tonight was old stuff. Early on it was also posted somewhere that there was a Haleigh sighting at a McDonalds in Waycross, GA, but I never saw anything else about that. These statements give me an ounce of hope that she may still be alive, but not probably. jmo :rose:
loretta. when is House on? I haven't seen it yet. I do like Nurse Jackie. Well I hate it but I like it, if you know what I mean. Also Dexter is another one I love to hate. I'm so into truetv, I miss a lot of normal programs. I'm stuck on crime shows. They make me nuts though. :confused:

Did he have some kind of problem?) this season and there is going to be more focus on 2 other characters. Now, if I ever watched this show, I might even be able to tell you who they are, but you're out of luck there. It was a man and a woman, but I don't know if there was any romantic tie between them.
And, considering the source, this may be off the wall. :biggrin:

I did see that on a tv commercial Amy. They have got to get him out of that asylum asap though, since he is one of the best diagnosticians ever. :D
House wont stay long I'm sure-he needs the Vicaden or he loses his edge for diagnosing. It's who he is. My guess as to who the 2 prominent storyline may be about-Foreman and 13 perhaps? Luv that show and Hugh Laurie is a scream. Not a hint of that english accent.

Oh Nawny I think House is just so wonderful I learn stuff and I like him because I have never seen a person so rude. LOL
I heard or read somewhere that Misty's brother (timmy?) moved to Cape Cod shorty after Haleigh disappeared. So her latest sighting at Walmart moved LE up to Massachusetts to interview them. You know like they might be hiding her or know where she is. IMO sara

I would love to think she is still alive, being hidden or something. Cape Cod is a very different kind of place than where they were. It stands to reason that they would be asked why such a huge move. It would also take money and lots of it to live there.

Or ron and misty did it to hide her from crystal? don't know but would not doubt it a bit. These are not rocket scientist we are reading about here.

Perhaps LE should be looking for secret passages and hidden rooms where they are currently living? Like the little fellow who was kept in a hidden room for 2 years that was just discovered.

Dazy, hadn't heard about the GA sighting (or forgot). I do wish LE would break their silence and give us some semblance of what led them to Mass and who it was who sighted Haleigh. If the case isn't getting much coverage, you kinda have to wonder how she would be recognized.

Cigs are much cheaper in Florida. Less then half what we pay here. A pack here costs over $5 dollars. There, you can get a pack for $2 dollars and less. Depends on the brand. And still and yet, I doubt they'd use money for anything practical... but the brother may have used it to move up north. ???

Officers won't discuss Haleigh interviews
The Putnam County Sheriff's Office declined to detail the agency's reasons for weekend interviews in the disappearance of 6-year-old Haleigh Cummings.
Reports surfaced over the weekend that investigators had interviewed the brother of Haleigh's stepmother, Misty Croslin-Cummings, and his wife on Saturday in Massachusetts.
"It has been the position of our investigative team not to release the details of interviews," said Sheriff's Office spokesman Lt. Johnny Greenwood in a statement released Tuesday. "I can confirm that investigators traveled to Massachusetts to conduct interviews in this case."
Greenwood reported the interviews were "totally unrelated" to an alleged sighting of Haleigh at a Massachusetts Wal-Mart.
Last week the Sheriff's Office confirmed investigators had interviewed Croslin-Cummings brother, Timothy Croslin, based on comments his sister made during tests, including lie-detector and voice-stress tests. Croslin-Cummings took the tests to help clear her name, according to the director of EquuSearch. The organization is a Texas-based group that has helped search for Haleigh since she disappeared in February.
Croslin-Cummings made statements that her brother had been acting strangely after the girl vanished.
EquuSearch reported after the tests that Croslin-Cummings had failed them.

LAW & DISORDER: Misty Cummings' kin questioned in Haleigh case
A Cape Cod, Mass., couple has been questioned in the Haleigh Cummings case.
Putnam County Sheriff Spokesman Lt. Johnny Greenwood told the Boston Herald on Monday that police interviewed Timothy Croslin and his wife on Saturday, but would not say why.
This morning, the Sheriff's Office said the interviews were unrelated to report Haleigh had been sighted in a Massachusetts Walmart.
Croslin's sister, Misty Croslin Cummings, was the last person to see Haleigh, who was then 5, early on Feb. 10 at the home of Haleigh's father, Ronald Cummings, near Satsuma. Misty Cummings says she awoke and noticed a light on.
The back door was propped open with a brick and Haleigh was missing.
Despite extensive searches and a $35,000 reward, Haleigh has not been found.

A Florida woman who is a potential suspect in the disappearance of her young stepdaughter denies that her Cape-based brother has anything to do with the missing girl.

The disappearance of Haleigh Cummings from her Satsuma, Fla., home on Feb. 9 sparked a national missing person search. Her stepmother, 17, put Haleigh to bed and the little girl disappeared sometime during the night.
On Aug. 17, to mark Haleigh's 6th birthday, the Putnam County Sheriff's Department released a statement that said the office has received more than 4,000 leads and conducted 138 formal interviews in the search for the little girl.
They have no specific person of interest yet, though they have cleared the biological parents, Ronald Cummings and Crystal Sheffield.
But police believe Croslin-Cummings is withholding information, according to a press release from the Putnam County Sheriff's Department.
"Investigators believe that Misty Croslin-Cummings continues to hold important answers in the case," stated the sheriff's release.
"She has failed to provide any sort of detailed accounting of the hours during the late evening and early morning of Haleigh's disappearance. Furthermore, physical evidence at the scene contradicts Misty's sketchy account of her evening activities. Any citizen with direct knowledge of Misty's activities during that evening or into the early morning is encouraged to report that information to the Putnam County Sheriff's Office."
In a phone interview from Florida yesterday, Croslin-Cummings said she was excited about published reports that investigators were in Massachusetts following up on a tip that Haleigh was seen at an Abington Walmart. The tip was reported by WBZ-TV Sunday and repeated by the Boston Herald.
The Cape Cod Times could not confirm the source of the tip last night.
Haleigh's family wants it to be true.
"Anything that would bring her home or get them (police) off my back, would be most welcome," she said.
Haleigh's grandmother, Teresa Neves of Lake Como, Fla., said the family is hopeful that there may have been a sighting.
"We're praying that it is true," Neves said.

One thing stood out for on the 911 tape. Misty's inability to even answer simple questions that all parents or care givers would have an inkling of how much the child weighs or how tall they are and for sure what they were wearing when they went to bed because you would know this when you put them down for the night? She was completely clueless and you can tell the dispatcher was getting frustrated because this dumb chick can't answer one question without going, HUH? "what do you mean"? And this conversation was part of the numerical question she did not comprehend, till the dispatcher asked her in a language she could, " what is the number of your house on Green ST"?? And Ron was about worthless and I think a little too dramatic with the I am going to kill whoever has my child and I don't care I will go to jail? I wonder if they ever find Haleigh's body, will he be still singing the same tune? And what if Misty does cop to it, will he stand behind her then? If he does indeed know the truth and has been lying all along too, then he should be charged as well. If he just bought her crap stories because he is a man blinded by love, I doubt, he will support her, but who knows what the real truth is?
No one is going to get anything out of that skank and if they would arrest her and get her away from Rager, maybe she would cop to the truth? I saw her on a local affiliate last night and while she is whining how much she loved, "LOVED" being the operative word and this is the next day after Haleigh goes missing? Anyone else pick up on this too? And not a tear falling down her face? And this is one shot of her that I hate. Sitting next to her is sea hag of a mother and she tells the reporter that Misty treated those kids as if they were her own? Well seeing as she had a horrible childhood, how could this b!tch be good at anything expect spreading her legs for a 26 year old loser? The one thing this skank should never do is to get pregnant and if she does, I hope CPS steps in and takes it because the child will not stand a chance with these two scumbags as parents??

I think Misty has used past tense a couple of times when she was being interviewed, and I'll never forget (well, I probably will!) Ron's oddly worded statement that he would give his life for his child's life back. Guess that went right over Miss Schmancy's head. Not only does he not refer to Haleigh by name, he indicates that Haleigh is dead.

LOL! Yes deacon, he does usually print them up on the labels but no one had time to enter the data and this is a rush job, so I'm it. I did about 200 so far, I'll finish it off before morning. It takes less time to hand write the addresses at this point. Entering data, printing labels and peeling them off the sheet to stick on the envelopes would take longer. But it has to be done before next month's billing. After that, it gets easier. I did 2000 of them for auto insurance clients last month. Its a mundane task for an artist believe me. But, the pay is good! :beer:

I think they all seem kind of dumb and the mother Oh my goodness she is a piece of work. I wonder if they are just assuming she is dead since nobody seems to be telling the truth about that night at all. I thought it was wierd when the dad married the teen I wondered if he thought that would stop her from going against him. I do think they believe her to be dead but Im not sure. There seemed to be alot of drinking and drugging going on in that house--well trailer. I agree that cape cod isnt cheap and I do wonder where they got the money. I dont think they can stay quiet forever--someone will crack if they werent drugged to get the girl out? Sold? Where would one look for something like that, she could be in bangkok by now.

Gee, how many well meaning people claimed to have seen Caylee in Toad Suck ID? And all that time, she was lying in a garbage bag in the woods, blocks from her own home, so these people just saw a child that looked a little like her and I saw a girl that looked close to her, but her father was with her and he called her Brianna and she called him Daddy? Now I do not believe that Haleigh was spotted a Walmart in Abington MA anymore than I believed that Caylee was seen in Beer Fart OK at a Walmart and I wish these well meaning people would not give these false leads? They are not helping any when the detectives spend their nickle to go all the way to the Cape, 1200 miles to be exact and come home empty handed because the child is not there and I believe her brother is an innocent in this? This child met the same fate as Caylee and I will stand behind that till I know otherwise.

PUTNAM COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - The family of missing 6-year-old Haleigh Cummings speaks out about new information in the case. Over the weekend investigators traveled to Cape Cod, Massachusetts to talk with her stepmother's brother Timothy Croslin and his wife.
On Tuesday Putnam County deputies confirm they made the trip but, it's family members who gave FOX 35 the scoop on what they wanted to know.

Haleigh is Lindsey Croslin’s niece by marriage. She has put her home on the market, and is trying to sell off a lot of her stuff. She says she's not feeling very safe any more in this Satsuma neighborhood. “I feel like I’m setting up my children to get stolen because they're here and this is where it happened.”
Haleigh lived just around the corner from Lindsay Croslin. The mother of three says between the family bickering and the public ridicule is getting to be too much so she plans to join her brother in law Tim and his wife Chelsea in Massachusetts.
The couple was questioned on Saturday by investigators but Lindsey Croslin is confident it was simply standard procedure. In fact she's happy to hear deputies are really working this case. “They had Chelsea in questioning for like 14 hours. Yeah, they took her in the morning, let her go home and got her again. Asked her the same basic questions, do you know anything about haleigh, did you or Tim try to help misty to hide haleigh...yeah. Crazy questions.”
Lindsey Croslin says the family has started to pull away from Misty Croslin-Cummings who has failed several polygraph tests.

I could understand ron if he was trying to keep her from her mother for some reason, God only knows why that would be, but for the life of me I can not figure out why anyone would think that misty would do it. If she wanted to be "free from kids" then both of them would have to go, not one.

i don't believe this happened but have read : haleigh was getting harder to handle, misty was jealous of attention she got, but not jealous of a boy.

New details in the Haleigh Cummings investigation
PUTNAM COUNTY, Fla.--Investigators from Putnam County Sheriff's Office traveled to Massachusetts to interview Timothy Croslin and his wife. Croslin is Haleigh's step-mother's brother.
Lindsy Croslin spoke to the couple and she says investigators had a lot of questions for her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, 14 hours worth.
"Why did you move to Massachusetts? Like they were running from something. That's where Chelsea grew up. That's where her family is."
She says investigators tried to expose holes in the couple's story.
"They'd tell Chelsea one thing Tim said and then tell Tim something Chelsea said. Almost like they were trying to get people to argue to tell something. But none of us know anything. This part of the Croslin family doesn't know anything."
But she's not as sure about Misty Cummings, her sister-in-law, who is now married to Haleigh's dad.
"Honestly I think Misty knows something she's not telling. I just don't know what it is. It could be something stupid. Maybe she wasn't home, so be it, but you didn't kill the child."
Folks at the Putnam County Sheriff's are not releasing any details about the interviews. They say their focus is on finding Haleigh.

Not sure, but there was a comment somewhere that Ron drove practically by his house without stopping to get to the convenience store. Not really sure why he would stop in at home if he had an errand to run, but maybe since Misty wasn't taking his calls, it would have occurred to him to check in on her. :shrug:

I think it was Ron's attorney who stated that it was his habit to go in to work early.

Could be! Ron strikes me as a pretty tightly wound guy. 3am seems an odd time of day to buy beer, but I guess his day is out of kilter compared to mine. Maybe he was buying those ciggies for Misty as a peace token.

If he just got off of work a beer run would not be that weird. Even at 3am. Too much about this is weird and when something like this comes up it just seems to be weird like the rest until we take it in context. At "knock time" (time to go home) it would/could be normal no matter what time of day it is. I have even seen it done by others at 7am.

Or, perhaps Misti had complained to some family members about Haleigh, and might have mentioned things she was tempted to do. So, perhaps someone did take Haleigh to protect her from Misti. But, for the life of me, I can't figure out why it would be Misti's family, as they had no pony in that parade until Misti married Ron. That honest living quote is one of my favorite things Ron ever said, and I think it was Eyes For Lies who said that it struck her as false and that he may have been creating his alibi.

That does make sense, except Ron is such a loose cannon and it puzzles me that any of the Croslins would set Misty up to be the one who lost Haleigh on her watch. I do think it's a foregone conclusion that Ron&Misty aren't forever. I just hope he doesn't get irate and kill her in one of his rages, but I can see it happening.

Too much about this is weird and when something like this comes up it just seems to be weird like the rest until we take it in context. At "knock time" (time to go home) it would/could be normal no matter what time of day it is. I have even seen it done by others at 7am.
I agree with this - not everyone has a 9-5 schedule. I remember working the night shift many moons ago and yes, 7AM it was party time for many of my co-workers. I never could adjust to that schedule although I was much younger and could recover in a shorter period of time. Today - no way.

PUTNAM COUNTY, Fla.--Investigators from Putnam County Sheriff's Office traveled to Massachusetts to interview Timothy Croslin and his wife. Croslin is Haleigh's step-mother's brother.
Lindsy Croslin spoke to the couple and she says investigators had a lot of questions for her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, 14 hours worth.
"Why did you move to Massachusetts? Like they were running from something. That's where Chelsea grew up. That's where her family is."
She says investigators tried to expose holes in the couple's story.
"They'd tell Chelsea one thing Tim said and then tell Tim something Chelsea said. Almost like they were trying to get people to argue to tell something. But none of us know anything. This part of the Croslin family doesn't know anything."
But she's not as sure about Misty Cummings, her sister-in-law, who is now married to Haleigh's dad.
"Honestly I think Misty knows something she's not telling. I just don't know what it is. It could be something stupid. Maybe she wasn't home, so be it, but you didn't kill the child."
Folks at the Putnam County Sheriff's are not releasing any details about the interviews. They say their focus is on finding Haleigh.

In fact, I think she should head out right now, whether she has sold the house or enough belongings or not. I'd be scared of what Misti's loving husband Ron might do, or even Misti's brother, Hank, Jr./Tommy might do, or Hank Sr, even. They all seem to have a bit of an anger management problem, and might take offense to her statement about thinking Misti (the former gf-now wife, sister and daughter) knows more than she is saying.

Agreed Deacon...I work until 1:00am and buy my groceries before I go home because I need to sleep in the next day and because the store is blissfully empty at that time... I was more interested that Ron didn't seem to want to spend his extra 45 minutes with his daughter.
Also, it just seems real odd that 8:30pm is when Misty turned off her phone - isn't that the time reported as Haleigh last being seen?
Sometimes you need to get to the construction site early for different reasons and some construction workers use that time as time to shoot the breeze with the other guys. Not unusual.

I have not followed this one as closely as many other poster's here. Would i be off base to suggest LE is just following up on sightings that happen in every case? Following up with family members who have moved? It seems to me that this happens in every case and so often are false sightings. Perhaps this is big news in a case that has so little?

...According to reports, anonymous phone tips were made to various media outlets in and around Cape Cod and Boston stating that a girl matching Haleigh Cummings’ description was spotted at a Wal-Mart in Abington, Massachusetts. This sighting comes in addition to Florida law authorities traveling to Massachusetts to question Misty Croslin’s brother. Source say the questioning lasted many hours and that Chelsea Croslin was questioned for nearly 14 hours. Authorities are reviewing surveillance tapes for further information. The nature of the interviews conducted and questions asked of Timothy and Chelsea Croslin remain to be seen, detectives aren’t currently releasing that information.
A report by T.J. Hart of WSKY 97.3 FM states that a caller reported seeing a young girl in a shopping cart being pushed by an adult. It hasn’t been released yet whether the adult was a male or female. Currently, the incident rests upon surveillance video tapes and whether or not Haleigh Cummings will appear on those tapes. It’s important to note that Timothy Croslin, Misty Croslin’s brother was in Satsuma, Florida at the time of Haleigh’s disappearance. Now LE has stated that the interview with the Croslins wasn't connected to the sighting, but you have to wonder if someone had wind that Putnam County investigators were headed north, if the report of a sighting might generate some interest, put some icing on the cake, and provide a little deflection.

Off the top of my head, the only sighting that turned out to be the missing child was Shasta Groene. It has to be hard for families to get their hopes up and then nothing comes of it. :(

I'm trying to have more faith in LE, and if Ron and/or Crystal are POIs but they're saying they aren't then I'm okay with it. And if they're making a point of saying that speaking with the Mass Croslins isn't connected to the sighting, but they're connected (like if it's a red herring perpetrated by a POI), then I'm okay with that too. Police agencies make statements all the time that So & So is in the clear and then they're arrested soon after.
You almost have to laugh at Misty at this point; she doesn't understand why LE is focused on her, yet after the brouhaha over the voice analysis and lie detector failures, we find out yet another forgotten fact/mis-truth/half-truth/utter lie, that she used her phone at 3:15am not to call Ron or 911. At some point things will all shake out and even if Misty had nothing to do with Haleigh's disappearance, I wouldn't be surprised to see her arrested. Not sure why they don't do it now based on obstruction. Maybe they figure lying is just second nature to her and she's been so successful all her life lying to the sorry folks in her life that they figure jail is no biggie to her. :shrug:

But Misti's brother moved months ago, and from what I can tell, they had followed up the leads fairly soon in the case, suspended the searches, and would seem to have had plenty of time to have followed up on Timmy Croslin and his wife a long time ago. IMO, at least.
There was a new round of interviews recently, so possibly their talking to Tim and wife was part of that round, but it is kind of weird that their interview(s) w/the wife just the other day spanned 14 hours, according to the other Croslin brother's wife.

If the child that is your boyfriend's comes up missing, and you call your brother who is 1200 miles away on the Cape FIRST??? And now we find out that she after her and loser had a fight. shut off her phone till she picked it up to call her brother??? As for the supposed sighting, I don't buy it unless LE has credible proof that is Haleigh because. let's face it, how many of us last summer thought that Caylee was dead? All of us??? I think sadly, that Haleigh is dead and whatever happened to her, it sounds like maybe the brother knows where she is buried?? And this here brother moved to the Cape AFTER she went missing, could it be they know where the body is because they buried it??? The stepmother of Haleigh, the now 6-year-old girl who was last seen in her Satsuma home in February, was in court today.
That information comes from attorney Robert Fields, who is representing Misty Cummings, now the wife of Haleigh's father Ronald.
Fields says Misty was asking a judge to make a restraining order against her brother Hank, or "Tommy," permanent.
The judge agreed.
Tommy, who was also in court, said he will not be affected since he's moving to Massachusetts anyway.
In recent weeks, the search for the missing girl has heated up, and most of the new attention has been focused on Misty, who underwent a polygraph and voice analysis of her own choosing because she said she wanted to clear her name.
Texas Equusearch, the group who has been searching for Haleigh and who led the testing, said she did not pass either test.
Last weekend, the search went all the way to Massachusetts following up a potential lead, but that turned up nothing.
There is a $35,000 reward for information leading to Haleigh.

As part of the file, Misty wrote a letter describing what happened on Aug. 5, saying her parents and brother came to her home and "a fight started (between Hank and Ronald)."
She said in the letter that after the fight was broken up, "my brother came up to me and took (his) hand in a fist and hit me on the left side of my face and head. ... I am afraid of my brother because he is violent and crazy. ... I feel that he will hurt me."
Included in the file was a picture taken after the fight showing a knot on Misty's head and bruises on her chest.
Hank refused to comment about the restraining order issued Wednesday.
Outside the home, the family was having a yard sale. Misty's mother told Channel 4 the family is moving to Massachusetts, where one of her other sons lives.

Haleigh's aunt and uncle who used to live in Putnam County moved to Massachusetts a few months ago. Family members say an investigator went out there on Saturday and met with the couple.
Haleigh is Lindsey Croslin’s niece by marriage. She has put her home on the market, and is trying to sell off a lot of her stuff. She says she's not feeling very safe any more in this Satsuma neighborhood. “I feel like I’m setting up my children to get stolen because they're here and this is where it happened.”
Haleigh lived just around the corner from Lindsay Croslin. The mother of three says between the family bickering and the public ridicule is getting to be too much so she plans to join her brother in law Tim and his wife Chelsea in Massachusetts.
The couple was questioned on Saturday by investigators but Lindsey Croslin is confident it was simply standard procedure. In fact she's happy to hear deputies are really working this case. “They had Chelsea in questioning for like 14 hours. Yeah, they took her in the morning, let her go home and got her again. Asked her the same basic questions, do you know anything about haleigh, did you or Tim try to help misty to hide haleigh...yeah. Crazy questions.”
Lindsey Croslin says the family has started to pull away from Misty Croslin-Cummings who has failed several polygraph tests.

Lindsey did say that the reason Timmy and family moved to Mass is because that is where Chelsea's family is. IMO, it's probably bad enough to have Misti for a sister--she wasn't the sharpest knife in the drawer before all this started anyway, from what I can tell. But to have to put up w/having Ronald Cummings for a bil sure would put a damper on any family gatherings. One would never know when he would go off on a tantrum--and probably would have no clue what all would set him off. IMO.

Yeah, I was so puzzled by Lindsey saying that she was selling her house and saying she was moving that I looked at the courthouse civil records to see if she had filed for divorce. Why does she think her children are or could be targets? Has anyone figured that out?

That was a rather odd statement. No other child seems to have been missing in the past 6 months, and surely there would be coverage if there was. You'd think if there were sightings of someone seeming to be casing the town, checking out little girls, we would have heard of THAT by now.
And, it's not like Haleigh was a CROSLIN, like her kids are. So, I wouldn't think being a CROSLIN would put a child in danger. And, of course, her kids aren't CUMMINGS. The only other Cumming would be Jr, and no one seems to be worried about his being carted off somewhere.

From where I'm sitting, the only thing Lindsey's children have in common with Haleigh is a connection to Misty. I think two of Tommy&Lindsey's little ones are boys, so if the perp is after girls only, she would be keeping her eagle eye on the girl child. I think both of Timmy&Chelsea's little ones are girls. I think is was on Simon's BNN blog that he stated Timmy's family had moved to MA to be close to Chelsea's family a couple of months ago.

I thought for sure LE would be able to get more info by now and with every passing day I think it's unrealistic that Haleigh is alive.
I don't think that Haleigh is alive either :( , and Misty's peabrain is the reason that I think that Mr. and Mrs. Cummings (the 2nd Mrs. Cummings) have something on the police that is making LE hold back on being too enthusiatic about investigating the crime.

If we also buy into the idea that this was not a stranger abduction, the water gets pretty murky, pretty quick.

7th Month anniversary since Haleigh's disappearance.
Simon talking about most recent press release.
T.J. says on the 17th when the press release came out FDLE, PCSO and mentioned things that had taken place in search told folks they welcomed searchers as long as they operated within the law.
Talking about LE asking for anyone who may have seen Misty out the night Haleigh came up missing to call crimestoppers. Information regarding this request was mentioned on Nancy Grace.
Enter TES at the request of Teresa Neves. Tim Miller decided to take Ron and Misty to Orlando. Ron concerned about phones being tapped and GPS tracking. Tim Miller bought pre-paid phones for them. Once in Orlando Misty requests a poly to get her name cleared. This is where everything went into a spin.
Misty says Tim Miller made the request. T.J. says he has confidence in what Tim Miller is saying over what Misty is claiming.
Says Misty is tired of the exposure and wants to clear her name.
Tim, not being an investigator made contacts with professionals who were able to set up the tests. Misty failed the tests miserably. Misty didn't like the tests and was upset.
Family members told her she had better take the tests.
Voice analysis was then done where she talked about being abused by her family and added the four people she claims to have seen possibly in a dream.
She did bad on the voice analysis test also claims she was duped and claims she was forced into doing the tests.
Simon:
Mass. investigation wonders if Misty's comments spurred that investigation.
T.J. says Misty's telephone calls to her Brother may have been the reason for the investigation.
Misty's relationship with Timmy was "glowing" and Timmy was puzzled as to why the investigation went on.
T.J. says confirmation from LE in Mass in regards to the investigation says T.J. had to go to Putnam Co. for any information. Putnam county referred T.J. to the States Attny's office. Basic runaround.
Putnam Co is not answering.
Teresa Neves told Marie Sheivo (sp?) the video at the Walmart was a child who appeared to look like Haleigh in a shopping cart and that the cart was being pushed by an adult.
Nancy Grace was going to do a show on the matter but there was emotional roller coaster, a lot of excitement and guarded optimism.
T.J. talking about Ron possibly being re-tested for Poly. Brought on by call from Hank Sr. to Tim Miller.
Simon says that if people fail Poly's miserably then LE would be all over them.
T.J. agrees.
PSCO press release says Ron Cummings is not considered a suspect. T.J. agrees says Ron and Crystal were both included in the list of not being considered suspect.
Simon and T.J. talking about Ron's own attorney mentioning that Ron had not been cleared.

Says people covering this case have been seriously burned which is why T.J. and Art are one of the few still covering the case.

T.J. says very frustrating. Everyone has an agenda. Everyone wants to change the story line. Everyone forgetting that a Child is missing. The picking sides is not helpful to this case.

Beautiful place, A lot of good things to say about Satsuma but this soap opera of a case is not good.

Much has happened in the past three weeks. Today marks the seven month anniversary of the disappearance of then 5 year old Haleigh Cummings. I think it is fair to say that the noose is tightening, but the big question is, on who’s neck?
For good reasons law enforcement has been tight lipped about their discoveries to date. There is one aspect though that has remained absolutely solid, it was not a stranger abduction.
Where is Haleigh Cummings? That is the question that we would all like to have answered. The $64,000 question!
The one reporter that has followed this case from day one is TJ Hart, he is the news director for The Sky 97.3 out of Gainsville, Florida. When it comes down to the nitty gritty about this case he is the expert. I doubt that anyone outside of the PCSO knows more about Haleigh Cummings than TJ.
In light of recent developments I decided to run a one-on-one interview. The case remained unsolved, yet I believe that all of the jigsaw puzzle pieces are in place, we just have to put them together.
I know that over the past seven months we have vacillated between, Haleigh is alive, Haleigh is dead. Both TJ and I, and all of the other people that we talk with almost everyday, want to believe that she is alive. The problem is, seven months is a long time.
TJ is a regular on our Sunday program, but our Sunday program is often fairly wild. No one gets to actually say what they think. Oops that makes us sound like Nancy Grace! ...

Wonder what that does to her story about seeing the light and getting up and then seeing the door and then going back to the bedroom to call Ronto see if HE had been home? Huh? Or, what does it do to her story, same set up, but not to call to see if he had been home, but to call to say Haleigh was missing? Somebody has their "story" wrong, wonder who it would be? That would be the one who changed the story--oh, that would be both, huh? Did Ron ever come up with this info before? He sure didn't say anything about being @ work, for an honest living, and trying to reach his "gal" on the phone all night. Nope, all we heard was, he was working for an honest living, and as he was driving up, his gf called him w/this information.
Seems to me that, if he wasn't able to reach her all night, he would have mentioned that, but, maybe by the time the first interviews came along, he and his mom and maybe even Misti had had time to determine what they were going to say. Which reminds me--I have always wondered where Misti was during that interview--the "honest living" and falling to the ground one. TN is there, I can't remember whom the other lady was, but there sure wasn't any teeny bopper there who could have been Misti, and certainly not hanging on his arm, comforting him.

Misty Cummings in Court Wednesday
PUTNAM COUNTY, FL -- There was no progress in the search for Haleigh Cummings today, but there was court action involving her family.
The stepmother of Haleigh, the now 6-year-old girl who was last seen in her Satsuma home in February, was in court today.
That information comes from attorney Robert Fields, who is representing Misty Cummings, now the wife of Haleigh's father Ronald.
Fields says Misty was asking a judge to make a restraining order against her brother Hank, or "Tommy," permanent.
The judge agreed.
Tommy, who was also in court, said he will not be affected since he's moving to Massachusetts anyway.
In recent weeks, the search for the missing girl has heated up, and most of the new attention has been focused on Misty, who underwent a polygraph and voice analysis of her own choosing because she said she wanted to clear her name.
Texas Equusearch, the group who has been searching for Haleigh and who led the testing, said she did not pass either test.
Last weekend, the search went all the way to Massachusetts following up a potential lead, but that turned up nothing.
There is a $35,000 reward for information leading to Haleigh.

There may not be proof that Haleigh slept in one bed while Misty claimed she was in another (for instance), but the story changed. That would indicate a lie somewhere along the way. I think Misty's days are truly numerical.

A temporary restraining order with similar guidelines had previously been filed, but Cummings fought to make it permanent. Misty and Ronald entered the courtroom together and sat about 10 feet from Hank Croslin Jr. and his mother.
Neither made eye contact the entire time of the hearing, which lasted only a few minutes and Hank Croslin Jr. only made one statement to the judge in reference to the restraining order.
"I want her to, she can go ahead and have her injunction... I don't want nothing to do with her. I'm actually moving to Massachusetts so it's fine, she can have it," said Hank Jr.
The judge asked Misty's lawyer if she objected to Hank Jr. allowing the injunction to go through. She said, "No," and the order was signed. Neither Ronald, nor Misty Cummings had a comment on the ruling as they left the courthouse, but Misty said that she felt attention was being taken away from finding Haleigh.
"Its not important, Haleigh's what's important," said Misty as she walked by our cameras.
Hank Croslin Jr. and his mother had much more to say about the injunction hearing after Misty and Ronald left the courthouse.
"I've never done anything wrong to her, but I just let her have it. I don't want nothing to do with her anymore," said Hank Jr.
Misty's mother spoke to the media saying that for the first time, she believes her daughter knows more about what happened to Haleigh than she's admitting.

Croslin-Cummings granted restraining order
Misty Croslin-Cummings, stepmother of missing child Haleigh Cummings, has been granted a restraining order against her brother, Hank Croslin Jr.
"She received a permanent injunction on Wednesday," Robert Fields, her attorney, said.
Misty filed the injunction against domestic violence stemming from a fight that reportedly took place last month between Croslin Jr. and Misty's husband, Ronald Cummings.
A typed petition by Misty claimed her brother stuck her in the face two times during the altercation.
"My brother came up to me and took hand in fist and hit me on the left side of my head ... I am afraid of my brother because he is violent and crazy and he is always drugged up."
Misty said she suffered a knot and a bruise on the left side of her face.
The confrontation began after Croslin Jr. showed up at the Welaka home of Cummings' grandmother, where the Cummingses were living.
In a report by the Putnam County Sheriff's Office, Misty said she had told her brother not to come over because it was late, but he went to the house and began arguing with Ronald Cummings. He then came at Cummings, starting the fight, she said.
She said her family would not leave and continued yelling at Cummings.
Following the fight, Cummings was arrested for burglary with battery and placed in the Putnam County Jail. Misty and his grandmother, Annette Sykes, bonded him out later that day.
Croslin Jr. consented to the entry of the injunction without admitting to the allegations.
Conditions include that he cannot be within 500 feet of Misty's home, 100 feet of her automobile nor may he have contact with her.
In addition, Croslin Jr. agreed to surrender any firearms plus ammunition he possesses to the Putnam County Sheriff's Office, which included a .45-caliber handgun and hunting rifle.
The injunction will be in place until further order of the court, which was overseen Wednesday by Judge Elizabeth Morris.
Fields said Croslin Jr. stated in the court hearing that he is moving to Massachusetts.
Over the past weekend, the search for Haleigh Cummings was focused in the Cape Cod area resulting from a tip that the 6-year-old had been spotted at a Walmart.
Lt. Johnny Greenwood, spokesman for the Putnam County Sheriff's Office, said police interviewed Timothy Croslin and his wife - Misty's brother and sister-in-law - but would not say why.
Misty was the last person to see Haleigh before the kindergartner disappeared on Feb. 10.

I read up on Art Harris last night and read an interesting tidbit!! Member the drug filled fun weekend this B!tch has with Nay and "White Boy"?? According to a source, she and this guy had sex that weekend and yet, she is living with Rager and he did not care? There was a lot of talk at the outset about touch DNA being useful when it came to the cinder block, so hopefully they can rule out the AC guy, or it could e that he's already told LE in his interview that he used the block. It would be interesting if he did though, considering that Ron and Misty both have denied knowing about the pile of blocks in the yard.

Details in Cummings case revealed
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (WAWS TV) - Misty Cummings is thought to be the last person to see Haleigh Cummings alive. Her stepsister was in town on the night Haleigh disappeared and she has become one of the most recent people questioned in Haleigh's disappearance.
"I don't know anything that happened to Haleigh, and I wish to God I did. I wish that I knew where Haleigh was, and I wish I could find her and bring our baby girl home. Cause, she's 6 years old and she does not to be out in the world without us," said Chelsea Croslin.
Chelsea spoke with Jacksonville FOX affiliate, WAWS TV , over the phone from her Massachusetts home. This is the first time she has spoken to any news outlet after Putnam County investigators flew more than a thousand miles to interview her and her husband this past weekend.
"We've now been thrown into the spotlight of this, were known as the Cape Cod couple. I mean, just to give us a name, this is nothing I ever in my life expected to have to go through. Its obviously not Haleigh's fault I'm going through this, but I just don't understand why I got thrown into this so hard," said Croslin.
Chelsea says the chief Putnam County investigator in the Haleigh Cummings disappearance was accompanied by another Putnam County Sheriff's Officer, as well as two Massachusetts State Troopers this past weekend. They showed up to her home around 9am and asked her to come with them for questioning.
"I was down there probably from about 9 o'clock to noon and you know. They just wanted to go over the phone lines. They wanted to go over time lines, and try to fill in gaps of what happened that night and who Misty talked to. And try and guess get down to the end of this," said Croslin.
Chelsea says ever since this investigation began, her family has been struggling to stick together.
"If I was sitting on the outside and looking in on this family, Id see the 17 year old girlfriend and just the way everything's happened, maybe I would go more towards the Croslin family. But, you know, I know everybody in our family and every single one of us loves children. We all love each others children and none of us would hurt them and I think they've geared the investigation toward the Croslin's from day one," said Chelsea.
"We tried starting our lives over here. We moved up here so my girls could get a good education. We could get a good home and be around our family, and when all of this got over with in Florida we could be together and just continue on with our lives and let our kids grow up and have normal lives. And now, they're making us out to be something were not," Chelsea said.
Chelsea Croslin also spoke about why she believes Misty has nothing to do with Haleigh's disappearance.
"Until somethings proven, were not going to believe it. Because we believe Misty. We know how good and great she is with our kids and she has 6 of her own nieces and nephews. She is one of the best people with children out there," said Chelsea.
"She's like my little sister. I'm not trying to say shes not a smart person, but you know, Misty dropped out of school in the 6th grade. She doesn't have that much book smarts to be able to fool the FBI and FDLE and every other person that came there and interrogated her for hours and hours and hours and Lie detected her over and over and over… I don't think Misty, she could do it. She's got a good heart, a good kid, and she loves children. I would trust misty with my kids, before a lot of other people in this world," Croslin said.
"You can see it in her eyes, all she is, is a hurt little girl. Shes gone through a lot in her life and shes going through a lot now and its tearing her apart, its really what its doing, " said Chelsea.
Chelsea Croslin and her husband Tim say they moved from Florida to get away from the investigation and give detectives the space they needed to get the job done. They both say they will continue to cooperate with investigators and answer any questions they may have.

Oh crap and crap and piles of crap and heaps of crap!! We have a missing boy from my area!!! He is 11 year old Brenden Chilhood and he is mentally handi-capped and has in all probability, been abducted by one Andrew Smith who has an extensive prison record, but no prior sex offenses, but what does that matter?? He disappeared yesterday morning and the babysitter watching him had gone in the mama's room to watch TV and did not check on him for hours and when she went into his room, he was gone!! I have heard the helicopters all morning going over the house and I went to town and there were many officers, local and state as well as search parties all over and have not found him at all. Andrew had told his family he was going camping, but did not state where and right before I came home, they even had tribal cops from the Chippewa Tribe stopping cars at a check point up the road and just now, another helicopter is going over and there have been private planes searching too and if they have not found him by tomorrow, I am going to volunteer for the search party. I have my scanner on, but the radio traffic is light, I presume, they have asked for air priority. I live about maybe 12 miles away from where he went missing, but they are leaving no stones unturned and let's all pray this child comes home and not end up like Caylee and Haleigh. He might be with that guy who is a family friend and there is no report of anything funky there, but who can tell nowadays who is a potential sex offender??? It is not like they wear a scarlet letter, like they should!!!

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - A body found floating in the St. Johns River near Fleming Island Tuesday evening has been identified as that of Shane Wiggins, who fell off a boat in Julington Creek on Sunday.
Florida Fish and Wildlife removed the body from the water.
Police were notified Sunday afternoon that Wiggins fell off a small boat and vanished in Julington Creek, not far from the state Road 13 bridge.
"The man fell off the back of the boat and never surfaced," Jacksonville Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Melissa Bujeda said.

The woman with Wiggins was able to get help from some fellow boaters on the water, but by nightfall, Wiggins had not been found and the search was called off.
"(The) south end of the river was extremely choppy and rough," Bujeda said Sunday. "Whether it's a factor, we don't know, but we think it may be a factor of why this all occurred."

Wind, so sorry to hear about this little one; hope he's one of the lucky ones who are found and in a hurry. These selfish b@st@rds who victimize children (or anyone else for that matter) don't know or don't care the effect such a thing has on an entire community.

An update: The FBI are now involved in the search for this little boy and right now as of 630 pm, there have been no sign of the boy or Andrew Smith either so cops suspect he is with him, but they did say that the man has been good to the boy, but we all know how that goes, sex offenders are sly and cunning and can con kids quicker than snot on a brass handrail, now I am not saying that he is SO, no indication he is, but we all know that can change too. The parents are worried sick and they advise that he does not have any of his meds with him, so I am thinking that if this man knew this child so good, would he not have taken the meds too? I am thinking maybe he wandered off, but even there, there is approx 250 searchers out even right now and if he is not found tonight, I plan on joining tomorrow. This goes to show you, that you have to keep a beady eye on kids at all times and this poor child has the mental capability of about a 4 year old and he might not even know where he lives??? I am scared for him big time, I do not know his folks, but that matters none,. he is a resident of Midland CO and that means he is one of us and right now we can't find him. I am going out for a while tonight, my friend Ron's band is playing at a local club and I can just guess this will be the hot topic of the bar just like the bar where my landlord works in FL, everytime something comes on about Haleigh or the trash, she has to turn up the TV, everyone there is as fixated as we are.

Misty Croslin holding back in Haleigh Cummings disappearance? Misty’s mom, dad, and aunt speak video
Haleigh Cummings disappeared on February 10, 2009, issuing a statewide Amber Alert. Now, Lisa Croslin, Misty’s own mother thinks that both Misty and Ron are holding something back. Haleigh Cummings’ disappearance has led Florida law enforcement to Massachusetts to question Misty Croslin-Cummings brother and sister in law. The two were questioned for fourteen hours and the interview came at a time of an alleged possible sighting of Haleigh in an Abington, Massachusetts Wal-Mart.
Now, it appears that Misty Croslin and her family are becoming more estranged. Lindsey Croslin , Misty Croslin’s aunt, doubts that Misty was home at the time Haleigh went missing. Reports also state that Lindsey Croslin told investigators that during that 14 hour questioning of Timothy and Chelsea Croslin, detectives wanted to know if the couple had helped Misty hide Haleigh. Police still haven’t released any information regarding the possible sighting of Haleigh; they are reportedly reviewing surveillance video footage.
The estrangement of Misty Croslin and her family has become more pronounced as a Florida judge granted Misty Croslin-Cummings a restraining order against her brother. Misty Croslin’s father doesn’t believe that she was home at the time of Haleigh’s disappearance either. Additionally, phone records show multiple calls between Misty and her brother (Timothy Croslin)during the night Haleigh Cummings went missing. On top of all this estrangement, comes the announcement that Ronald Cummings and Misty Croslin had a fight the night that Haleigh vanished. One of the most startling revelations to surface in recent days, however, is the fact that Ronald Cummings tried to reach Misty Croslin-Cummings by phone during the night of Haleigh Cummings’ disappearance and couldn’t reach her.
In the interview below, Misty Croslin’s mother states that she believes her daughter, Misty Croslin , is holding information back and not telling everything regarding Haleigh’s disappearance. When asked by an interviewer whether she believed Misty was truthful she stated, “Deep down in my heart, yes, I think my daughter’s holding something back.”
The interviewer then asked if she felt Ronald Cummings was being truthful. Lisa Croslin answered, “I think them both are holding something back. That is just in my heart.” She continued to speak, giving Misty a message, “I want to tell her I love her. And if you know anything at all, please tell me. I`ll be right there by your side and we`ll get through it. And just please tell me whatever you`re holding back.”
A statewide Amber Alert has been issued for Haleigh Cummings. An additional $35,000 in reward money has been posted.

We will be broadcasting our regular call in Talk Radio show on Sunday Sept/13 at 3pm Central. Once again we will be focusing our attention on the sad and frustrating case of Haleigh Cummings. It has now been over seven months that she has been missing. However, things do at last seem to be happening. Over the past three weeks some armor seems to be getting some chinks in it as far as alibis and time lines are concerned.
We in the press and independent investigators have no access to the police records, but as TJ Hart and I discussed a couple of days ago, we now seem to be on the same track, in fact we are no longer running parallel to law enforcement, I believe we are now on a converging path.
Much has happened in the past three weeks, and it continues to unfold every day. The few of us that have stuck with this case have been faced with a barrage of idiocy, but we are still there...

I agreed to meet two of my friends at 10 and we are going to join the search party, cops think that Andrew might be camping with the child at Wixom Lake which is only a matter of about 5 miles from me and when we went out tonight, we looked at every vehicle till we got into town because where he went missing is as rural as where I live, all we see at night around here is deer and turkeys and my moose Wilbur. Yeah, he is still hanging out, saw him earlier today, he is just a friendly kinda guy and everyone on this road feeds him and we all love him. Now we need to find Brenden and bring him home safe, but my stomach is in knots over this, I think about how I feel about Haleigh, and then I think about this child, another one that has issues, and I am starting to wonder more about the babysitter than I am about Andrew. According to one guy at the bar, she is a POS, had her own kids snapped by CPS, and I hope it is not like that case with the little girl. Please everyone pray for Brenden.

Police found Brendan Michael Chobod in Sandusky, Ohio
ISABELLA COUNTY (WJRT) -- (09/13/09) -- UPDATE -- Eleven-year-old Brendan Michael Chobod is back in his mother's arms, having been missing since Friday.
Brendan Michael Chobod was found late Saturday night in Sandusky, Ohio by FBI agents.
The 21-year-old man he was with, Andrew Smith, was arrested on unrelated charges.
Police say the boy looked healthy but is being looked at by medical personnel as a safety precaution.

BRENDAN FOUND IN OHIO - and he's OK!
A missing Isabella County boy was found safe Saturday in Sandusky, Ohio, along with the “person of interest” police had wanted to talk to.
The Isabella County Sheriff’s Department announced in a press release issued shortly after 11:30 p.m. Saturday that the boy had been found.
Brendan Michael Chobod, 11, had been missing since Friday morning, when he was last seen at his home at Maple View Trailer Park in southeastern Isabella County.
He was found in Ohio with Andrew Smith, 21, who was arrested on unrelated charges (violation of bond conditions) by special agents from the Sandusky office of the FBI.
The Isabella County Prosecutor’s Office will review police reports before determining what, if any, charges Smith will face as a result of the incident, according to the press release.
The statement said Brendan appeared to be in good health, but will be looked at by medical personnel as a safety precaution.
“The look of joy on Brendan’s mother’s face will be something I will always remember as she was notified that her son had been located and that he appeared to be excellent,” Sheriff Leo Mioduszewski said in the statement.
“This case would not have been resolved in less than a day and a half if it were not for the relentless work and cooperation between local and federal law enforcement officials. There were more than nine law enforcement agencies that contributed to the happy and successful conclusion to this case.”
Earlier in the investigation, police had issued a photo of Smith – a Midland County resident – and a photo of his gray GMC conversion van, in an attempt to locate him. They said they wanted to talk to him in connection with the case, but did not give further details.
Investigators had also said a neighbor who had been evicted from the trailer park earlier had been seen in the neighborhood in recent days.
It was unclear early Sunday if Smith and the evicted neighbor were the same person.
On Saturday, the search for Brendan in eastern Isabella County included support from two helicopters, and the Civil Air Patrol from the Upper Peninsula, and more than 150 volunteers who combed a radius of five miles of woods surrounding the boy’s home.
“We had people walking the woods, two helicopters helped with the search, and we had the Civil Air Patrol,” Mioduszewski said. “There were also K-9 and equine units helping. We had volunteers from all over Michigan.”

For sure a happy ending. Hope Brendan hasn't suffered any longlasting effects from whatever happened. Don't know where in OH he was found, but it looks like from Isabella County to anywhere in Ohio is a pretty far piece.

Now, he was arrested, but unrelated charges, I assume these are drug charges he had pending, either way this guy is a total loser to take this little guy, like he was his to take, and I can safely assume that he did not sexually assault him because if he had, we would know about it right off. I imagine he will be charged with kidnapping because the parents did not give him permission to take Brenden and it possibly will be a Fed case because he crossed state lines. I think he is going to get many years behind bars and why he took the boy is anyone's guess, he is close to the kid, but that gives him no right just to take him?

Haleigh Cummings disappeared on February 10, 2009, issuing a statewide Amber Alert. Now, Lisa Croslin, Misty’s own mother thinks that both Misty and Ron are holding something back. Haleigh Cummings’ disappearance has led Florida law enforcement to Massachusetts to question Misty Croslin-Cummings brother and sister in law. The two were questioned for fourteen hours and the interview came at a time of an alleged possible sighting of Haleigh in an Abington, Massachusetts Wal-Mart.
Now, it appears that Misty Croslin and her family are becoming more estranged. Lindsey Croslin , Misty Croslin’s aunt, doubts that Misty was home at the time Haleigh went missing. Reports also state that Lindsey Croslin told investigators that during that 14 hour questioning of Timothy and Chelsea Croslin, detectives wanted to know if the couple had helped Misty hide Haleigh. Police still haven’t released any information regarding the possible sighting of Haleigh; they are reportedly reviewing surveillance video footage.
The estrangement of Misty Croslin and her family has become more pronounced as a Florida judge granted Misty Croslin-Cummings a restraining order against her brother. Misty Croslin’s father doesn’t believe that she was home at the time of Haleigh’s disappearance either. Additionally, phone records show multiple calls between Misty and her brother (Timothy Croslin)during the night Haleigh Cummings went missing. On top of all this estrangement, comes the announcement that Ronald Cummings and Misty Croslin had a fight the night that Haleigh vanished. One of the most startling revelations to surface in recent days, however, is the fact that Ronald Cummings tried to reach Misty Croslin-Cummings by phone during the night of Haleigh Cummings’ disappearance and couldn’t reach her.
In the interview below, Misty Croslin’s mother states that she believes her daughter, Misty Croslin , is holding information back and not telling everything regarding Haleigh’s disappearance. When asked by an interviewer whether she believed Misty was truthful she stated, “Deep down in my heart, yes, I think my daughter’s holding something back.”
The interviewer then asked if she felt Ronald Cummings was being truthful. Lisa Croslin answered, “I think them both are holding something back. That is just in my heart.” She continued to speak, giving Misty a message, “I want to tell her I love her. And if you know anything at all, please tell me. I`ll be right there by your side and we`ll get through it. And just please tell me whatever you`re holding back.”
A statewide Amber Alert has been issued for Haleigh Cummings. An additional $35,000 in reward money has been posted.

Amy, no clue where these people get their information when they don't provide a link or a source. (Amazing how many people consider themselves journalists these days. :rolleyes: ) Just don't shoot the messenger! :hat: At least we know who these folks are.
I guess the reason I posted the article since I don't particularly care for examiner, is because it states that LE is reviewing the security footage. We hope they are; as NG says, Hellmart has the tracking abilities of NASA (or something like that). Wish Putnam County or someone would clarify though the statement from another source the other day who reported that the anonymous caller had phoned the media, and no word if LE in Mass was called.

...The bulk of the program concerned the recent events in the Haleigh Cummings disappearance. This case is now in its seventh month and the little girl is still missing. There has been some movement in recent weeks, and the heat has been turned up considerably on teen bride and step mother Misty Croslin-Cummings. While not considered a suspect she is thought to be the key to resolving the case.
Tempers are also getting frayed with the Croslin family, with a Restraining Order being made last week by Misty against her brother Hank.
The Croslin’s also seem to be on the verge of pulling up stakes and moving to Massachusetts, for economic reasons. Read into that what you will.
It was an active week and TJ Hart did a fabulous job of bringing us up to date, and fielding the sometimes difficult questions from our callers...

Local Families Renew Awareness on Florida Missing Children's Day
It's an emotional day to remember Florida's missing kids for three local families.
Mark Degner, Bryan Hayes and Haliegh Cummings are among the 300 kids who remain missing from their Florida homes. And the loved ones of these missing children came together today with investigators at the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, to renew awareness and support each other.
"Even though something tragic like this has happened, it has pulled our family together with support," says Tonya Nhiev who continues to search for the two boys. "We just pull together everyday, we pray, and we keep searching. And bottom line, we just never lose hope."
Degner and Hayes disappeared while walking home from Paxon Middle School on February 10th, 2005. Four years later, to the day, Haleigh Cummings disappeared from her Satsuma home. Nhiev says her family has reached out to Cummings' loved ones. She also offers assistance through a support group for families of missing children and adults. They meet every second Tuesday of the month at the Denny's on Atlantic Boulevard.
Crystal Sheffield, Haleigh's mother, and Marie Griffis, Haleigh's grandmother, drove from Baker County to attend today's awareness campaign. Griffis says the search for Haleigh has almost become a full-time job for her family and that Crystal has barely cracked a smile since Haleigh disappeared nearly eight months ago.
Griffis says the experience has made her a more angry and worried person. "And I wasn't that person before," she said as tears streamed down her face. "It takes your life and totally flips it upside-down. And you don't know what to do with it. Because she's out there and a big part of your heart has been taken away, and you don't know what to do with it. It's just empty."
Florida's Missing Children's Day was recognized across the state and with Governor Charlie Crist in Tallahassee today. Law Enforcement urge you to remember the faces of the missing kids and contact them if you have any clues about the disappearances of these children.

Haleigh Cummings – The Dirty Laundry Mounts?
For the past couple of weeks I have noticed that my good buddy TJ Hart has had an obsession with the dirty laundry found in the trailer following Haleigh’s disappearance. At first I did not give much thought to it. But the more I did think about it, the more convinced I become that it may be of some importance. If you think of the entire case as a jigsaw puzzle the laundry is a piece that links to several adjoining pieces. It also opens up even more questions.
This is pure speculation on my part, however I think it merits some thought. Laundry in one way or another plays into several aspects of the case, albeit insignificant at first glance. Here are some of the things that are bothering me, they are not in any particular list of importance, and I am not really sure how some of them relate.
I do not know Misty Croslin personally, in fact I have little wish to meet the girl. Anecdotal evidence however seems to show that housekeeping was not her forte! In fact I can think of few 17 year old’s that love to houseclean and do laundry so she is hardly unique. Having two young children in the house, will surely produce an almost endless amount of dirty clothes. It has been reported that Misty Croslin had just come off a three day drug, booze, and sex binge, so it is unlikely that she popped home to do any laundry!
If Misty is such a lousy housekeeper, it would stretch my imagination to believe that once she discovered Haleigh was missing, she went back into the bedroom and made the bed she had supposedly been sleeping in.
There is a story, and understand that the definition of ’story’ covers both fact and fiction, that Misty washed and dried the blanket that Haleigh used because it smelled of ‘pee’....

So if there was a pile of laundry, waiting to be washed, on the floor in front of the washer/dryer which is also IN FRONT OF THE BACK DOOR...and if you needed to take a child out, particularly a child that might be wrapped in a blanket and carried, where do you put the pile of dirty laundry in order to get out the back door (which is also held open by a brick). YOU PUT IT IN THE DRYER...that's why I wondered if the A/C/D/C guy saw any laundry!

Suz, I think it was during the NG segment on the trailer that the reporter surmised that dirty laundry on the floor may have been used to prop open the wooden door which had a self-closing device. As for why there was dirty laundry in the washer and the dryer, that's anyone's guess.
I always wondered why Misty reported that she had done laundry that night considering that GGMS claimed to have delivered clean clothes, then later we learned (supposedly from Ron) that there was no detergent in the house.
No doubt, Misty has dirty laundry in every sense of the word.

I think you are right. I wouldn't have a clue where to start looking for the information, but I also remember an article (link) that reported about the clothes on the utility room floor that blocked the inside door open. I guess it could have been a link to a transcript, but whatever it was, it was more than just someone saying they had heard, read, etc about it.

Ceremonies throughout Florida recognize Missing Children’s Day
The 10th anniversary of Florida’s “Missing Children’s Day” was recognized throughout the state Monday including ceremonies in Tallahassee attended by Gov. Charlie Crist and locally at the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office Police Memorial Building.
Florida Statute 683.2 set the first missing children’s day for Sept. 13, 1999. The purpose of the day is to raise awareness of the missing children throughout Florida and educate the public on child safety and abduction prevention.
Among the missing from North Florida include Haleigh Cummings, who recently disappeared from nearby Putnam County, who was depicted on a banner near the podium at the ceremony in Jacksonville.
Duval County boys Bryan Hayes and Mark Degner are also missing. They disappeared from Paxon Middle School in February 2005.
“As of today there are more than 300 children missing in our State,” said Ann Dugger, executive director of the Justice Coalition. “We are gathered here today to remember our children on the First Coast who are still missing. Please help us bring these children home.”
Hayes and Degner were 12 when they disappeared and are 17 now.
“I have to remind myself that they are not the 12-year-old boys that I remember anymore,” said Angie Campbell, Degner’s aunt.
Two new, age-enhanced portraits of the boys that were created by the National Center of Missing and Exploited Children were unveiled at the ceremony.
“It’s our hope that these age-enhanced photos will lead to calls that will help us find these children,” said Det. Rodney McKean, lead investigator on the disappearance of Hayes and Degner.
Investigators searching for Hayes and Degner admit that their toughest battle is against the clock. McKean and Sgt. Ronnie Booker are a part of the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office Cold Case Unit and they took over the investigation from Missing Persons in 2006.
“The regular missing persons division has such a high volume of cases, we can focus more resources on cases,” said McKean.
Those resources get energized when news of other missing persons emerge.
“When we hear about stories like the girl found in California after 18 years, that energizes us,” said Booker. “It gives us hope.”

It was TJ that came up with rather interesting phrase ‘The Dirty Half Dozen’, of course it is a reference to the top six suspects in this case, as seen through the eyes of the press. Our methods are not scientific, it is a list compiled through our observations, and by talking to people.
In fact this list varies from person to person that I talk to. My list is different to other peoples, but we are consistent on some of the players that we have pegged.
It does not matter what crime you are planning to commit, you need the three ‘M’s, Motive, Means, and Misdirection.
Motive is easy, a reason to commit the crime. Means, a way to perform the crime. That leaves Misdirection, simply put, you need a way to avoid detection.
There are three names that appear consistently on our Dirty Half Dozen, Misty Croslin, Ronald Cummings, and Crystal Shefield. lets take some time to see how they stack up in the three ‘M’ world...

It was about one hour ago that Hank Thomas Croslin found himself on the wrong side of the law. he is now cooling his heels in the Putnam County lock up on a theft charge. No details are available, but the charge claims that the theft concerns something between $300 and $5000. here is the part that got my ears perked up, the bond is set at $50,004. yes folks 50k.

Man tied to Cummings family charged with grand theft
A man who has been questioned by the Putnam County Sheriff's Office in the disappearance of Haleigh Cummings was arrested Tuesday night, but the charges have nothing to do with the missing Satsuma girl.
Hank Thomas Croslin, 23, was charged with grand theft shortly before 7 p.m.. The Sheriff's Office declined to discuss his arrest. He was being held at the county jail Tuesday night on about $50,000 bail.
Croslin is the brother of Misty Cummings, the 17-year-old Satsuma woman who married Ronald Cummings, Haleigh's father.
Cummings and Croslin were in a fight in August that ended in Cummings' arrest. Two days later, Croslin found a dead rat in his Satsuma mailbox.

Don't think he's been arraigned yet, there's nothing on the Putnam County Court site, so that makes me wonder if what was stolen was something in the fine print of the law, I think medical equipment and LE equipment were mentioned, but I'll have to go back and read after another pot o'coffee. He was already forced to surrender his weapons when the injunction was made permanent. (Interestingly, Ron Cummings hasn't been forced to turn over any weapons, but when he was arrested, the officer wrote in the narrative that he is known to be armed.) So if there is more violence domestic or otherwise with RC involved, there is still the likelihood of gunplay.

ETA: Is the high bond (pretty much the same as no bond maybe?) a way to put pressure on the Croslins? Not that Misty will be sweating Tommy sweating it out in jail.

A man who has been questioned by the Putnam County Sheriff's Office in the disappearance of Haleigh Cummings was arrested Tuesday night, but the charges have nothing to do with the missing Satsuma girl, authorities said.
Hank "Tommy" Croslin Jr., 23, was charged with grand theft shortly before 7 p.m. He is charged with the theft of a .38-caliber Colt handgun from a former neighbor of his parents.
He was being held at the county jail Tuesday night on about $50,000 bail.
According to an arrest report, Croslin and his mother visited the former neighbor in the 200 block of Sunglow Avenue in Satsuma in August. Marvin Martin told deputies he later discovered the gun missing but that it was returned after he contacted the Croslins.
On Monday an arrest warrant was issued for Croslin.
Croslin is the brother of Misty Cummings, the 17-year-old Satsuma woman who married Ronald Cummings, Haleigh's father.
Cummings and Croslin were in a fight in August that ended in Cummings' arrest. Two days later, Croslin found a dead rat in his Satsuma mailbox.

Croslin Arrested for Stealing Firearm
PUTNAM COUNTY, FL -- The police report is providing specifics regarding the arrest of Hank Croslin, Jr. He is charged with stealing a firearm.
According to the Putnam County Sheriff's Office, it happened a couple of weeks earlier; the victim is unsure exactly when.
Last Friday, the victim told a deputy he wanted to file charges against Hank Jr. for stealing his .38 caliber Colt revolver.
He says Hank Jr. and his mother had come to his home to use the phone. He says that's not uncommon, as the Croslin's phone has been turned off.
The man says Hank was the only person who went into his bedroom where the .38 caliber Colt revolver was kept.
When he discovered the gun missing, he says he then called Hank Jr.'s sister-in-law and told her he knew either Hank or his mother took the gun and he wanted it back or he'd call police.
The victim then told the deputy that just a couple of hours later, Hank's mother and father came to his house and returned the gun.
He said Hank's mother told him Hank stole the gun and hid it in the shed behind his home. He also said he wasn't sure if Hank or his mother had actually stolen it, but he suspected Hank.
The deputy then went to Hank's mother's home to talk to her, but she wasn't home. He says he left his card and cell phone number asking her to contact him.
Monday, he went back to the home, and she still wasn't there.
Someone told the deputy that she and Hank Sr. had moved to Tennessee over the weekend and weren't coming back.
The deputy then went before a judge and got a warrant for Hank Jr.'s arrest.
Hank Croslin, Jr., faces a grand theft charge.

Misty Croslin-Cummings' brother charged with theft
A relative of a missing Putnam County girl was booked into a North Florida jail on a theft charge Tuesday evening, according to jail records.
Hank Thomas Croslin Jr., 23, is facing a charge of grand theft, the Putnam County Sheriff's Office reported. A $50,004 bond had been set for his release, records from the county's jail showed.
Croslin is the brother of Misty Croslin-Cummings, the stepmother of Haleigh Cummings, a 6-year-old who disappeared from her home in Putnam County in February.
The Putnam County Sheriff's Office did not provide details about Croslin's arrest but, in a statement, reported it was "not in any way related to the search for Haleigh Cummings."
Within the past few weeks, investigators have interviewed Croslin<0x00A0>and his wife about Haleigh's disappearance.
The interviews came soon after Croslin's sister made comments during lie-detector and voice-stress tests that he had acted strangely after the child vanished.
Croslin-Cummings took the tests to help clear her name after the Sheriff's office reported they did not believe she was telling them everything she knew about the case. But she failed the tests, according to EquuSearch. The organization provided the testing and has helped search for Haleigh since she went missing.

Haleigh Update: Tommy Croslin Arrested
According to Putnam County Jail records, Hank Thomas “Tommy” Croslin Jr was arrested Tuesday on charges of larceny theft over $300 but under $5000.
The item stolen was a pistol belonging to a friend. 97.3 The Sky will have more details on this as it becomes available.
After being caught with the pistol, Croslin tried to return it and was promptly arrested and placed in the Putnam County Jail with bond set at $50,004.
Last Wednesday, Misty Croslin Cummings, the stepmother of missing 6-year-old Haleigh Cummings, was been granted a restraining order against her brother, Hank Thomas “Tommy” Croslin Jr.
The order involved an incident last month that led to the arrest of her husband, Ronald Cummings.
Misty filed the petition for injunction against domestic violence following a fight between her brother and husband.
Ronald Cummings was later released from jail. He was charged with burglary and battery.
The injunction said that Hank cannot go within 500 feet of Misty or her home and cannot have any weapons. In her petition, Misty said it was Hank who "committed or threatened to commit domestic violence" and "threatened, harassed, stalked or physically abused" her.
Misty also said in the petition that her brother has "a criminal history involving violence," and she was afraid because Hank "owns ... a .45-caliber handgun and a hunting rifle."

Maybe it was so high because he had been ordered to surrender his weapons, which in most people's minds if you had to give up YOUR weapons, you don't go out and get your NEIGHBOR's weapons, for Pete's sake!!!! I think most people would think that meant they should be in possession of NO weapons? :D
It is odd that Ron Cummings has not been ordered to give up his weapons. Anyone can see he has a short fuse, and it's not a good idea to be in possession of a gun. Wonder if he still denies that he has a gun? Probably says it's not his, but Misti's.
Looks like even Mommy and Daddy got out of Dodge in time. Too bad Hank Jr didn't move as quickly. Don't think his being in the clink would probably stop his wife from moving on. @ least it wouldn't me. Especially if I had been trying to get moved, and he was spending time interacting w/Ronald Cummings and dear sis Misti Croslin-Cummings instead of working on the move.

Don't think he's been arraigned yet, there's nothing on the Putnam County Court site, so that makes me wonder if what was stolen was something in the fine print of the law, I think medical equipment and LE equipment were mentioned, but I'll have to go back and read after another pot o'coffee. He was already forced to surrender his weapons when the injunction was made permanent. (Interestingly, Ron Cummings hasn't been forced to turn over any weapons, but when he was arrested, the officer wrote in the narrative that he is known to be armed.) So if there is more violence domestic or otherwise with RC involved, there is still the likelihood of gunplay.

ETA: Is the high bond (pretty much the same as no bond maybe?) a way to put pressure on the Croslins? Not that Misty will be sweating Tommy sweating it out in jail.

I figured Ron planted the rat, but had no clue about his reasoning. Sounds about right--weird, just like him. I'm betting that Misti Croslin-Cummings has been lying for some years now about one thing or another, and is probably quite accomplished in that area.
Wonder what things he is wanting to know that she lied to him about? What she told him about the weekend fling? Wonder what she DID tell him--I can't see Ronald Cummings just smiling and saying "That's nice" if she told him she had been having sex with WBG or any other man. The drugs? Probably didn't care one way or the other, it seems to be a way of life.

I think that the answer to that question is a resounding YES. Although last nights arrest of Hank Thomas Croslin Jr may not seem intrinsic in the case, it actually might be a catalyst to something bigger. Last Sunday TJ made a comment on the radio program that I did find humorous, but it also contained a wealth of information “there are so many Croslin’s under the bus, they are getting tangled around the axle”. Well here goes another one!
What has been reported is that Hank Jr. was in possession of firearms, one in particular was stolen. Mere possession violates the Restraining Order that his younger sister Misty obtained against him. What has not been reported are the circumstances surrounding this arrest. I have had my ear close to the ground, and I do not think this is the appropriate time to discuss the circumstances, but if my sources are correct, the fireworks are just beginning.
Hank Thomas Croslin Jr is being held on a $50,004 bond, this is likely a little more than he has in his checking account. In fact it has been said that he and his wife were getting ready to relocate to Massachusetts, and to facilitate the move had been having a Yard Sale. Presumably now his wife is having a Bail Sale!
Now the question is, how long will he be sitting in an overcrowded jail? I would not wish to try and out guess Law Enforcement, but I am sure they would like him to sit tight for a while. Nothing beats a little suffering and denial to loosen up the vocal chords.
The Croslin family have pretty much left Putnam, his father and mother scooted to Tennessee last weekend, that really only leaves his younger sister Misty. I doubt that Misty has $5k to plonk down to spring Hank Thomas, and I seriously doubt that Ronald Cummings would permit her to do so. Ratgate is still a factor!...

For some reason this almost tickles me or seems ironic as the growed up Croslins don't particularly seem any more mature than the younguns.
And cynic that I am, I think it's just about as possible that Mama Croslin took the gun. It's a little shocking that she and Hank Sr. would just pick up and move leaving their grandchildren "in danger" (according to Lindsey) and Hank's namesake at the mercy of the Po Po.

Goes to show you they have money for what they think is important.No matter how you look at it they are low low lifes and it's really hard for kids raised in that kind of an environment to break away from it. As a teacher I see it all the time and I want to ban the parents from any more kids....

The poor kids. The parents certainly aren't going to encourage them to go to school for that galldarn book learning!!! Sure don't want the kids to be smarter than their mammas and daddies, maybe even be a bit embarrassed by them, not want to bring home their college friends to meet them and all. Nope, what's good enough for us'ns is darn good enough for our kids!! Gotta keep them girls pregnant--starting as soon as they have their first period--maybe even sooner, get some practice in, ya know!!! Them kids is what keeps them govment checks coming our way, without that, by golly some of us might have to work at real jobs, ya know. Going to work interferes with how we live and all that.

Poor Haleigh. It would almost be a blessing if this child is indeed dead, she would have grown up with all this assorted trash and probably would have been knocked up at age 12 by one of her daddy's friends having quit school in the 6th grade, history has a real way of repeating itself in these scum families. so I almost wish that she is dead, but on the slim chance that she is alive, and is found, the authorities need to get her and Jr far far away from these scumbuckets!!! Maybe it's a cover, and Tommy isn't really under arrest, just they are giving out the story about arrest and high bail, but secretly he's in protective custody? Be kind of hard for Ronald or Misti to get to him there, if they are mad enough @ him. (Cuz I'm not too sure about Ron's "explanation" about the rat thing.) I guess, if he would get to MA, he would be safer there, cuz I don't see Ron or Misti traveling, unless some network is paying their way, KWIM???? :D None of those major shows come out of MA, do they? Or anywhere near where Timmy and family moved to?

I do not think any of those shows are in Boston. What a clever idea Amy. You should be LE. I never thought of that angle at all. IMO

Poor Haleigh. Surrounded by idiots. And the biggest one of all, her father was on Miss Nancy tonight. Doesn't know what's going on with the Croslins. Doesn't think a reenactment or hypnosis for Misty is necessary. They will do anything to find out the truth. Except tell it.
