Matthew Conover, 35, assistant principal at Buckeye Union High School, in Buckeye, Arizona has been arrested (http://www.teachercrimes.com/?p=1566) for allegedly having an inappropriate relationship with a 17 year-old student.
The police say he and the teen sent sexually explicit text messages to each other, including several nude pictures the teen sent of her to Conover’s cell phone.
A school administrator observed the teenage student talking on her cell phone on campus, a violation of school policy, and confiscated the phone from her. That’s when they discovered the alleged text messages and photos.
When interviewed by police, both Conover and the student acknowledged the messages and photos. Her cell phone was taken into evidence, however Conover could not produce his phone, telling police he had lost it.
