Ok Lo my DH says there is no way to uninstall an operating system. He says you can upgrade it to another one and that will over ride the one you have on there. He says the one we have is not able to be updated? I dunno. I did tell him about the post where it says how you can get the blue screen of death with XP. He said that's called an Easter egg. I have no clue. He can talk me under the table with computers. I told him I would ask you how to uninstall and OS and let him know. He was okay with that lol. I have him thinking you are some computer specialist lol. I even told him he should go back to the college he graduated from and take refresher courses just to stay up to date. He didn't argue or get deffensive so maybe he knows that you know something he doesn't?

There is no way that I know anything that he doesn't!! You know, I took a computer course not that awfully long ago, and used it quite a bit for work, but when I retired from The Real World and was mostly self-employed, I barely used the computer at all. Now that I'm mostly full-time retired I've had to relearn a lot, but am mostly self taught. And that would be the reason that I know nothink! http://i37.tinypic.com/ibdpmr.jpg
You may actually have to purchase software to uninstall operating systems, or use the bios menu.
Easter Egg. That sounds like a cute name for a dire situation!

The only way to "uninstall" an OS is by formatting your hard drive. That will wipe out everything on it. Should only be done as a last resort though.

Thanks. That was what my dh was saying. I thought maybe he was just being quirky. He's a networker and formats the hard drives every time he wants to upgrade. Irritates me becuase I lose everything. He knows what he's doing. He has promised he will save everything on a cd before he does it. I just dread it.

Not for anything............but this bites! Did someone really complain..wrong wrong wrong, Because all of us on there do the same thing, talk about things OT because we are interested in what each other has to say!
Must have been a mean, nasty Lurker!
I know but as Snoop said last night we should be glad that nobody got banned. On other boards you get banned from going OT. At least we just got a folder added for us. I know whoever complained wasn't someone posting with us. Because we ALL went OT from time to time. I think we all enjoy what the others say. It's how we get to know each other.

I know, you're right, it's true. For some reason the fruit Peaches came to mind for a moment! LOL !
Guess some others are just jealous we have more fun on our thread than they do
:)
I guess this is the gathering place now? Seems sad but I can understand. A lot of times, when you're posting, all of a sudden another related but OT thought comes to mind. I need to keep a pen and pad now so I don't forget what that thought is and can come here to write it. It was just so easy before. I know I eat only canned peaches for a reason.
Maybe Ol' Jose didn't like our OT but relevant to what a witch his client is, and complained. Maybe he didn't like his clown picture. haha, I still get a good laugh from that one.

It's nice to get a thank you card...makes ya feel good! My kids are the only ones in our family who send out thank you cards . Never received ones from my nieces and nephew, no matter the age. No use complaining though.
I'm sentimental too I have every card my HB ever gave me, and
I still have every card given to me by anyone for anything in the last 10 years or so. I have carp pots in the LR with glass on top ~ I just slide all the cards in there. One day  I'm going to clean 'em and reread 'em.
Yeah....ONE day!
My aunt died right before TGiving, and some estate issues came up afterwards. Of course I still had all the cards and letters; we wrote or talked on the phone about once a week (and of course most of what we talked about was the soaps or food!), but when I went back to re-read the correspondence, I also re-read the cards and letters from My Sainted Grandmother. Just such sweet remembrances. Those two were my last living pen-pals.

I remember your aunt passing..so sad Loretta :rose:
Yes, Loretta, something about being able for a moment to close your eyes and think about someone, right? My favorites are my pictures! Always been a camera buff, so I'm constantly looking back , remembering when. Next comes my music..and I'm 15 again. Sometimes a smell will do it too ~ perfume or food will remind me of someone or something. I'm very afraid of Altzheimers (sic), esp since I really do have CRS sometimes due to a car accident years ago. I want to be old and shriveled up and remember the good ol days..and sex! LOL!
Enjoys those memories, my friend! I will too!
OOooooooooooooo I went OT over there, it takes getting used to, switching gears like that!
Aww Thanks for remembering my Sissy. I love those deja vu moments! I get really frustrated when I'm forgetful, since I'm normally a high energy multi-tasker. I DO NOT like spinning my wheels.

Brown a pound of hamburger with the taco seasoning. Can add chopped onion if you like. Drain. Add a can of Rotel tomatoes, a can of Ranch Style beans and a can of corn. Simmer for a few minutes so flavors blend. Put grated cheddar cheeze on top before serving with tortilla chips. We like it on cold nights.
Many of you have have talked about various interesting foods and cultures. I haven't experienced much in the way of culturally diverse food but I have had a few unusual dining incidents. A few years ago, I was in England for a few weeks and decided to take a train from London up to Scotland. At lunch time I went to the dining car and sat down at a small table. I noticed that I was the only one in the car. Shortly after, a middle-aged fellow traveler came in. She looked around for a moment, then walked to my table and enquired if she could dine with me. I welcomed her and she sat down and began telling me much about her life. She was from Australia, her husband had recently died and she was visiting relatives. She was afraid of air travel and had traveled to England by ship and now by train to Scotland. She appeared to be well off and travelwise. After a while, a waiter came to the table holding a notepad and pencil. There wasn't a menu in sight. I suggested to the lady that she order first but she insisted that I should. I looked up at the waiter and he said one word. "Superjuice?" I replied superjuice, what is that like? I noticed the lady let out a chuckle. The waiter frowned at me and said "soup or juice?" I said oh, soup or juice, I'll have the soup. He then said "hot or cold?" I replied that I preferred the soup hot. The waiter, looking anxiously, said "the lunch, the lunch, do you want a hot lunch or do you want a plate of cold cuts?" I said make it hot. He was a very efficient waiter.
Another thing that happened earlier after I had checked into the hotel in London. As I left the desk and headed toward the elevator, the desk clerk asked me if I had a time that I would liked to be knocked up in the morning?
That took a few minutes to get sorted out. I'm a poor traveler.

Hey this looks like fun here! :)
I made 2 lasagnas today! One for us and one for my son who works for Poppa. He will take it to the office and give it to him to bring home to his family for dinner tomorrow. Lasagna is boring IMO, but I had 2 huge containers of Ricotta and I didn't want it to go to waste.
I got off my arse today and got a lot of work done, but I'm way behind on the board. Of course Poppa asked me if I learned anything new on the case and I said, "Aye! I got nothing! I worked today." LOL!
Tomorrow I'll get a lot done too, so I'll catch up tonight and (am I boring you?)

Be careful with your pup, Gator. I know a hawk picked up a little chihuahua in middle Georgia once, but luckily the owner saved the pup. My brother who is a hunter, fisherman, wildlife photographer, and fireman, emt, said that an eagle will pick up a small child. I don't know where he got that info, but watch out for small pets and kids. Not like caysee ant.

I'd like to give you my hagnog alog but I'm late getting to sleep because my laptop froze up earlier and I didn't know what to do so I pressed every button and had to press the P twice because a few months ago I got this brainstorm to clean my keyboard as I was having an OCD moment, and I vacuumed the Friken P right off and I had to go retrieve it in the vac bag and anyway, it hasn't been right since.
So, tonight I fixed my own laptop. I just went to system restore and it was good as new. Since we are in the middle of Mercury Retrograde technology (especially communications) go kaflooey. It's just the planets. My garage door was being capricious today too. It went up a foot and back down a few times. I just kept pushing the button. I love to push buttons.

HI!!! I am on my third cup! My pot is prepared at night so I won't have to have a meltdown in the morning waiting. Besides that, I don't think I'm capable of putting a pot of cawffee together without cawffee in me. I am barely capable of finding the ON button when I trundle into the kitchen in the morning!
Enjoy the kids and the snow! :)
Thanks! Yeah I am just finishing my first cup. Kids get on the bus about 10:10 this morning. They probably won't have school tomorrow. I LOVE snow days.
Oh Girl, I could be a hagnog anonymous. I could send my son in law to fix your garage door, since that is his expertise and I could tell him to take a ride. Naw, I shouldn't be so ugly. Every time he aggravated me, my Mom said "he takes care of his family."
I agree about Tony. That horrible caysee is responsible and no one else. I miss my beloved dog, Daisy too. She was half scotty and half schnauzer, and a beautiful black puppy, a member of our family for 14 years. :( She passed on Christmas day 2003. Don't be sad. Life is good and count your blessings.
DS's cat misses him. When he moved, he took Kibbles, the big tom cat. Well, he's the type of tom that must go tom cattin', cuz you never see him around. I always tho't he was downstairs w/son. Guess not. Anyway, Son didn't think Kibbles would do well cattin' around in town, so he brought him back and took Ghandi, the little tom.
Every 3 or 4 days @ first, Kibbles would show up @ the window and yeowl to come in. He'd eat, drink, then sit by the door yeowling to leave. Last time, we didn't see him for a week. He came by the other day, stayed a few hours and left. Came in the next day, and stayed all night. I was up all night w/my darn tooth ache, and the darn cat yeowled--I'd go to the door to let him out, he wouldn't go. I turned on the basement light so he could go see that Son isn't here. He finally left about 6. It would be great if he would show up the same time Son comes over, but it hasn't happened. Son misses the cat, too.
I lost 13 pounds when I went to England because the food there absolutely sucks. Notice there are no English restaurants???
Guess I'll stay on this side of the ocean. I have to see what I'm getting before I eat it. If it doesn't look good, it won't go in my mouth.
Good morning! Just wanted to let all you posters down south that we here in the north east are expecting ten more inches of snow I'm going to cryyyyy...
This was our picknic table less then 2 weeks ago!!! Poor Poppa was out in that all day blowin snow. Send SUNSHINE!

We got snow Sunday night, it was still snowing sort of all day. Don't know how much we got, the closest I got outside all day was to open the door for the animals. It snowed again some last night. My SO came in about 3:30 this am, he had been out checking roads, said there wasn't enough for him to get his machine out for clearing the places he clears. And, no ice. Thank goodness. According to the tv people, further east, the snow isn't the problem, but they had freezing drizzle--so windshields were messed up when a lot of folks were heading out to work.
I am fortunate that most of the "weather"--snow, hail, tornado, etc actually occurs 50 miles east of here. Central and south central of the state usually get the worst of whatever weather we are having.
Just wanted to stop in and introduce myself. I posted years ago when this was courttv, during the Scott Peterson trial. I can't for the life of me remember my login info from back then so I just re-registered. I've been following/lurking along during the Anthony case. It has me so disturbed. Such a tragedy.
Anyway, hello :seeya: to all and I'll see you around.
Welcome to the board!!! You'll like it here.

You're helping a lot. You have the before pics, after Poppa does his cleaning, you can take after pics, so he will be able to see even next summer what a good job he did!!!!! ;)

Well my toilet flushed on its own Sunday and now my tv changed channels all by itself too. I was watching NG last night at 8:15 and my mom called to say The Closer was on. I love the Closer so I changed channels from 23 to 11. I watched The Closer and at 10:00 switched back to 23. At 10:03 the tv changed channels to 03 and it was Myfoxorlando and the news on Casey Anthony was just starting. The remote was sitting about 1 foot away from me and no one was near it. Now that's downright spooky, especially going to the news regarding Casey Anthony.
Now I don't mind having a ghost move in as long as it's friendly, but it could at least clean the house while I'm at work.http://www.freesmileys.org/emoticons/emoticon-char-019.gif (http://www.freesmileys.org)

YEA! Got my internet back! I'd send you some sunshine, but we don't have any!!!!!!!!!!! We got our annual ice storm. Well, except this is the second one this year. I'm counting my blessings; the broken tree limb closest to the house fell onto the upper deck and not into pool. Won't even have to skate down the steps to haul it away.

The last time the plumber was here, he replaced the guts in the toilet in my "office". I didn't realize until it started to have just a slight leak/run that he had installed some newfangled whachamacallit that isn't the old flapper thingie. Took me a while to figure out how to adjust it. But it was cheaper than calling for a professional OR for letting Leroy get anywhere near it! :hat:

I think we should start a group. HAGNOGS ANONYMOUS. We can get the cure!
Hello, my name is Danagher, er, not really but, well anyway I am a Hagnogaholic. I also suffer from CRS like my freind Old Soul, Oops, is it okay to point fingers here? CRS= Can't Remember ****.
So, thank you for letting me share. Now give me some of that hagnog before I rip yer face off!
PS: Tony is a box of rocks but he didn't put the stickey heart on the duct tape. Slurp... I miss my dog. I can't talk about it, sniff.
:seeya: Whaddiya mean I can't drive? I can't walk, so I have to drive!
As usual, you have cracked me up again!:biggrin:

Aww, those cats are smart! When I met poppa he had a cat called Cali. The first time I met Cali, he bit me. After that we shared a tense relationship. After I married poppa and moved in his home, Cali wouldn't speak to me. I took care of his needs and he still wouldn't speak to me. He would come and yell at me when he wanted to go out. SCREEEECH! Poppa laughed. I didn't. I'd look at him and say, "NO RESPECT! I feed you, I take you to the vet, I clean up after you and you YELL at Me???? You sit there now and wait till I'm ready to let you out or I'll give you a time out! And stop dropping mice off at the door or I'll send you back where ya came from!" LOL!
He found Cali starving and caught him in the dog pen eating the dog's food. (There were 3 of them, Midnight, Buddy and Bear) They let him. Poppa adopted Cali took him in the house and made him a nice place to hang out. Cali didn't like the new resident! ME! Cali also was a vagabond. He ate at everyones house. The bum!
My cat is named Kali also. She is one spoiled kitty. I have had her since she was 4 weeks old. Her mom was run over and killed. She is 4 now and big and fat.

DD swears we've had a ghost for years. We have lived here for 14 years, and she just bothered to tell me a few years ago!!! Anyway, she swears the ghost opens and closes the dryer door, and if she was downstairs, she could hear it walk across the main floor. (Me, I'd be cowering in my closet, sliding my hefty body under the 6 inch space under the bed, or screaming out the nearest exit--maybe if making a new one if need be.) She would check, and no one was there.
Not too long ago, I was rummaging in a closet with my back to the washer. I felt a tap on my shoulder, and figured it was DD playing a joke. I turned and she wasn't there. A cat was, and I supposed the cat could have gotten on the washer and batted @ me. Altho I didn't hear anything, and you can usually hear the cats when they land somewhere. THEN, SOMETHING was TUGGING on my shirt collar--now, the cats were NO WHERE to be seen, AND I'm pretty sure none of them have mastered the trick of tugging on a collar. I shrieked and did a dance with some shrugging, and a cigarette lighter fell out of my shirt. Now, if I had had a lighter there, I would have felt it when sitting in the chair, I'm pretty sure. PLUS, MY lighter was still in my pocket. I ran screaming to DD's room--she hadn't even HEARD me in my terror. When I told her about my adventure, she just said, well, she TOLD me there was a ghost!!!!
Trying to post and watch Bill Kurtis on a program about the Clutter family in Holcomb, KS, 1959--some of you all might know about them thru the Truman Capote book "In Cold Blood." I was a kid about 2 hours southwest of there, the movie came out when I was a Sr in high school. I live in the town now, for about 14 years, and before that in the "city" about 6 miles east for 24 years.
I've never made it thru the book. Watched the movie with some classmates when it first came out, but haven't seen it since. Started to watch the remake, but it wasn't all that good---they didn't even film it in the area, the church (which was in town @ the time of the murders) was out on the freakin' prairie in the new movie!!!
Anyway, some of the people they are interviewing on the documentary are people I know or know of. Al Dewey's (KBI) MIL used to be patient on the unit where I worked in the '70's. Some of the other townfolk were patients I took care of, also. I haven't ever been to the Clutter house, altho I do know the people who lived there until recently. People just show up, wanting to see the house.

In Cold Blood was one of my first forays into reading true crime. My Sainted Mother had a subscription to The New Yorker where it was first serialized; can't remember how old I was when I actually read it first, but I think it was about the time the movie came out. Fascinating then, and now.

I've heard burning sage is supposed to help. When we moved into our house 8 years ago we thought we had one. So I burned sage according to the instructions and it seemed to help? Whats so weird though, just before my sister-in-law died last April she asked us if we had someone else living in our house! My husband and I thought that was strange - maybe we didn't get rid of it after all! Anyhow - here's an article that talks about ghosts and burning sage....
How to Get Rid of Ghosts?
The title should probably read: "How to help ghosts cross over if possible". Ghosts are people like you and I that have died physically. If you or I were lost, I would hope that there was a kind and compassionate soul out there that would lead me down the right path, to show me the way home. So as much as we possibly can, I hope to offer a kind heart to those lost soul's. And if they are willing they will cross over from their limbo state and feel the utter joy and happiness that being in a heaven (a higher dimension) provides.

I'm very used to ghosts. When I was 13 my famly moved into a different house. Every night when I was going to sleep and in that state where you aren't asleep yet but almost, I would hear someone say my name. I would sit up and yell "what?" Nobody answered so I would walk over to my parents bedroom and ask my mom if she called me. She would always say no. So then I'd go back to bed and go to sleep. That went on for months. Then I started to see a white outline of a person. That's when I went and actually slept on parent's bedroom floor. I was 13!! My parents thought that I was just freaked out by the new house. I kept tellng my mom there was a ghost. All my girl friends who would come have slumber parties became used to the ghost. We called him Kyle. We would see him standing in my bedroom. My cousin brought her baby to visit and I knwo he seen something because he just stared at my window laughing at nothing. So anyway my mom finally believed when one day her, my best friend and I were standing in the kitchen and Kyle walked down the stairs through the kitchen and into the lving room. My mom saw it and looked at the dog who was in his cage in the kitchen. Then my mom asked what was that? I by this time was very used to Kyle and said "oh that was just Kyle" My mom ran crying and screaming out the back door and down to my grandma's house where she sat crying to my grandma untl my dad came home. From that point on she believed in ghosts. Kyle liked to torment my mom and would bang on the side of the washing machine whenever she was in the basement. There was a curtain down that that blocked off the oil tank. One time our cocker spaniel went back there and my mom heard him yelping. She went to get him and she said it was like something was pulling him. She had one end of him and was trying to pull him out and something else wouldn't let him go. She freaked about that and went to see our pastor. He informed her that no ghost is good and that they get stronger with time. He said that's why it went from just hearing my name being called to seeing him to him actually doing something physical. He wanted to bring in his class and do an exorcism of sorts. The whole ordeal was just so crazy. My dad never believed us and doesn't till this day. He just thinks we're all nuts lol.

Well that depends. Are you a good cook and are you good at math? He needs help at the office and I hate office work. I went there today and I QUIT! (like I always do) It was a nut house! :) He's a character! He yells at his clients and they want to kiss him. I don't understand.
Well, I guess there went that opportunity. I am an adequate meat and potatoes type of cook. Raised 4 kids and none starved. Am horrible at math. Barely manage to balance my checkbook. I also hate office work. Used to tell my dad, "I don't want to BE a secretary, I want to have one."
So, I'll let you keep Poppa and I'll stay single. Been that way since '90 and probably too set in my ways to change anyway.

Nope now Euro trip here currently. Although i am married to one. We Canadian's who live close to border crossings refer to it as going across the pond. We have 3 ways-bridge,tunnel or ferry from my location. Hope to get out in the a.m. weather permitting. We would have been out our fav. spot as of last Saturday. Melia/Caribe Tropical Resort in Punta Cana. Cancelled due to FIL illness and subsequent passing. We shall go next year as i had cancelled my vacation time off as well. It's all good and April will be here before we know it. Yep,shopping, pool, massage, good book, good food etc. etc. I am sure Leroy's mama was friendly. If i ever have one move in it's gettin a honey do list of housework. Maybe thats why they stay away:hat:
I thought "the pond" was the Atlantic Ocean; learn something new every day!
I hope y'all have the best mid-winter long weekend ever. (Cannot wait for April and am really dreading the ice storm tonight. Maybe it'll pass over us. But that will just mean someone else is miserable.)

LoL about the pool with jello. When I was a teen we thought it a great idea to fill a baby pool with jello. Do you even realize how much jello that took?! LMAO!! And then yeah it was kinda fun, slippery and slimy but then it just got gross. Sticky and nasty. I so should do that for my kids this summer lol.

HAH! I need servants and a pool boy and a wife! Leroy does not enjoy maintenance in any way shape form or fashion. You'd be surprised the stuff I do to keep from calling a professional while he's propped up with a stack of magazines to read. BUT, he gets dressed and goes out and earns a fine living five days a week, so who am I to complain? Cause if I can't do it in my jammies, its might not get done!
Was it you who mentioned vodka sauce for our Friday Watch Party? I made it for the first time tonight, and Leroy said that while I wasn't looking, he licked his plate. Not sure if he was kidding or not!

You know, that actually sounds like kind of a neat thing to do. I hate to waste food, but Jello doesn't really fall into the Real Food category, anyway. LMAO

Sigh, guess I will have to leave Poppa to Danagher, too. I can cook a roast (w/potatoes only) on occasion, maybe a hamburger. Other than that, if it doesn't come microwave ready, it's hands off for me!!!! Even in college, I was relegated to cutting up the lettuce for salad. Nowadays, I am allowed to bring the relishes to family dinners, lol.
Math, makes my head hurt. It just does. Haven't balanced my check book in I don't know how many years. Been single forever, and frankly, I think with my skills, it's better that way!!! Besides, I don't have to answer to anyone (altho my SO sometimes acts like he THINKS I should!)

That's what I always tho't across the pond meant--from the US to Europe. Hmmm.
One thing about having to come here for chit-chat, I do believe we get a tad bit more carried away than on the discussion thread. It can get kind of fun, and funny!!!!
You all are a hoot, and I sit here chuckling and laughing. DD just shakes her head and goes back to her room. I think she thinks I'm a bit nuts, but a happy nut!!! I can cook, I can bake and I can do math. (Don't clean well though). As for business, I recently took over the uniform program at work and cut our program cost from $54000 a year down to $13,000. Now the managers give me the evil eye because they used to be months behind in approving their department's uniform charges and I'm right behind them like a tornado - sign, sign, sign. If you don't sign, I go up the ladder so now we don't have any late charges either. I'd love to work for Poppa, but that's the extent of it. I couldn't compete with Nawny and that wonderful family. But if there is an Uncle Guido in the picture, think of me. :D Oh, I take back, I can't cook everything. I cannot make a decent pancake if my life depended on it. They come out raw, they come out rubbery, they're burnt, they're in triangles, squares, hexagon, everything but round. I just buy frozen.

So... well... we got the snow and ice. You can't even walk outside without falling. There's more than a quarter inch of ice on everything. The kids school was cancelled. Hubby called off of work. He works an hour and a half from home and no way was I letting him risk his life driving in this crap. I LOVE snow but ya'll can have the ice.
On a different note I was looking at the myspace bumper stickers that people have posted last night. There is a new one about chloroform. It says #1 pick up line of all time..... does this rag smell like chloroform to you? I'm guessing people are just now realizing that back in the day chloroform was the date rape drug so to speak, as seen in old movies with men coming up behind women and placing the rag over their face and the woman passing out. I think people really don't take it seriously. This makes me believe even more that the comment placed on RM myspace was just for ****s and giggles. It's more like an OMG can you believe this?! Take care in that ice. It got us late last night and sounded like someone was throwing rocks at the glass; it was very windy and coming down like hail. Lots of power outages, but we've lucked out. PTL
Yeah, I get the impression that people have some sort of romanticized idea about chloroform. Saw someone using it in a trashy LMN movie the other night and wondered where he got it.

@ work, some of the staff would order delivery from a family owned restaurant. Every body writes what they want, they are on separate orders, one person calls in and gets a price for each order. I know the times I have been present when the orders were called in, the caller ordered what was on the papers. On more than one occasion, one or more orders were WRONG. They just were. The restaurant was called, and after a couple of times, they have refused to deliver to our department. He was angry, but @ least he left all weapons in his vehicle (if he had weapons.)
A friend happened to go to the restaurant, and there were people she knew there, so she sat with them. When she got up to pay, she gave the amount of the ticket. The guy says, you have to leave a tip, there were x number in your party. She says--she didn't come in with them, didn't even order @ the same time, etc. He says--don't EVER come back here again.
I guess she can be thankful there didn't seem to be a ball bat or other weapon sitting near the cash register.
Did I read the comments right? They seem to support the restauranteur/asshat?
Don't know how many comments were on the site when you read, but I just read a few of the ones now--the ones I read were pretty much against Gumbo--he's a crazy yankee, people are sure he's connected w/the mob, the poor fellow in the hospital is going to be the owner of a pizzeria, etc.
The wonderful world of words!! (where I spend the majority of my life) It's all good kid! It's allll good! Notta problem. You're not a stoonadda, the stoonadda would be the person who had aproblem with it.. LOL!
Now days words are all wrapped in poetic license. No one has problems anymore. We now have "Issues." I have no issue with erks. LOL! It sent the message home Gator! I get erked all the time. Gotta love words! If you read fast, you're not seeing 50% of the words you're reading. Watch, I bet you get the message clearly in the sentence.
"I was smoking a cig n th astry was so fullabutts it wiz annoyin ME, and I smok!!!"
LOL!!!
When I am reading say, a policy or a newspaper article, I can be driven nuts by misspelled words (and I don't know if there are supposed to be 2 s's or one in that word) and poor grammar and punctuation.
However, when I am on the boards, I don't usually have a clue when someone spells something wrong, even if it's a commonly used word, or if the punctuation is all wrong. On occasion, there is a post that I have to re-read a couple of times to figure out what is being said, but most stuff, even if the poster uses the wrong name, I know what they are talking about. Sometimes, in my reading, I say the right name, and don't know the other was used, again, until someone points it out.
GOOD GIRL A&O! It's snowing and raining here. We have no all wheel drive cars. I talked about getting one today and Poppa said, Why? It's a few weeks a year that we need one. We both drive sedans and this drive way is uphill. One day we had to back up and restart the climb several times. We are having a bad winter here this year. He may be right. he may be crazy. I'm not the SUV type. I drove station wagons for years raising 4 ids, now I have the car I love and I'll keep it. I won't drive the weebles around in the snow with my car though, that's for sure.
Stay home! Nawny says!
I had a bad ice experience 35+ years ago, and it was YEARS before I drove even in the snow. (SO was usually pretty darn good to get me to and from work if a co-worker wasn't able to.) I do drive in the snow some now, only if absolutely forced to, but still call on SO for ice. It snowed here a couple of days, ago, didn't freeze or anything, but DD does not even want to be IN a car in the snow, let alone drive.
I have an Explorer now, and there are 3 buttons that indicate 4x4, SO tried to explain what each was for. The sales person said they automatically go into 4 wheel, after you push the button, of course. (I wonder why he had to point out that I would need to push the button, lol)
The road leading out of the strip mall is on an incline. Target is across the highway. But, if I want to go to Target from there, I go out the back access to the mall, go over to the main road that will get me on the highway, and backtrack to Target. My tires in my old Voyager, even when they were new just didn't have the traction to get up that incline. Haven't tried it in my new and improved vehicle.....don't suppose I will, either.
Glad applesandoranges made the trip safely.

Ah! Pink Vodka sauce is every one's favorite. It's too easy! Garlic, sauteed, crushed tomatoes, cream, vodka. That's it! I love it on gnocchi but I put it on all kinds of things. Even chicken! Lovely! Today I made pasta/potatoes for Poppa becauseh was out in that hell of a storm blowing snow. I like that on days like this. It's hearty and warms you up inside.
Just fry some chopped garlic, add water to the pan
add a tablespoon of tomato paste to the water, or not/ both ways are good.
boil your cut up potatoes till soft
add pasta. Either DItalini, elbows, broken spaghetti, anything
Add lots of black pepper.
salt to taste.
Good old fashioned poor man's meal. Yummy.. it's a carb explosion though LOL!
I served chicken with my vodka sauce so I cheated and browned the chicken pieces and then moved them to the oven, then sweated chopped onion and garlic in the schmalz, deglazed the pan with the vodka, added a can of Hunts plain old tomato sauce, and then finished with the cream right before I served it. I've seen recipes calling for crushed tomatoes too, but glad that I went with the sauce. It was heavenly smooth.
Gosh, I could live on potatoes. Any kind! But pasta not so much. Potato gnocchi is the exception.

Don't mind spelling and grammar mistakes unless they make the post impossible to read or understand. What does bug the peewaddle&doo out of me is that so often people who make the least sense do so because of those type errors. And they come back with the "it's just a message board" deflection. Hellllooo we're here to communicate. What those types communicate to me is that no only are they inarticulate and lazy, but that they really don't give a rat's patoot about the folks they're talking to.

It's so easy to make. Just chop up some carrots, celery, onion and boil with potatos. Only boil in enough water to cover the veggies. Fry a pound of bacon in a pan. Dry the bacon on paper towls and crumple. Once your potatos are soft add a can of cream of chicken soup and a can of cream of mushroom soup. Use one of the soup cans and put a can of milk in. Add the bacon and it's finished.

I hope you bought some good snacks, Lie to Me is on in 30 minutes.

Are you Irish? lol! There is no such thing as a day without a potato of some sort for me. My children, only 1/2 Irish, do not share this particular gene. I made potato soup just for myself over the weekend.
I don't know about Danagher w/the Italian husband, but I am Irish. Grandpa and his aunt came over on the potato boat, as we say.
Anyway MY favorite food is--the POTATO!!! Of course, I like to taste the potato, and don't dress it up a lot. PLAIN hashed browns--leave out the onions, please. Mashed potatos with a brown gravy or chicken grave, ONLY @ Thanksgiving and Christmas--turkey gravy. Baked potato, used to eat with just salt when I was young and trying to lose weight. Otherwise, salt, butter, sour cream--stop!!!! lol. No chili, no broccoli and cheese, heck NO CHEESE!!! French fries--mayb a little ketchup to dip them in, that's all. Of course, ff aren't much anymore. McD's was the last big hold out for good fries, and I do believe they have capitulated to the people who don't even eat them anyway. A good party potato, texas potatoes, however you say it where you are. The hashed browns in mushroom soup, some cheese and sour cream type thing. Again, you can keep your onions for somebody else!!!
[QUOTE=lorettalockhorn;9158525]Not sure if I have any Irish blood or not. My Sainted Mother came off an orphan train, so it was all a deep secret.
Flove potato soup! Made some not too long ago and hoarded the leftovers. :hat:
It's so easy to make. Just chop up some carrots, celery, onion and boil with potatos. Only boil in enough water to cover the veggies. Fry a pound of bacon in a pan. Dry the bacon on paper towls and crumple. Once your potatos are soft add a can of cream of chicken soup and a can of cream of mushroom soup. Use one of the soup cans and put a can of milk in. Add the bacon and it's finished.
I like my potato soup like my other food--basically potatoes!!! When I was growing up, the potatoes cooked in the pressure cooker (Mom and her pressure cooker--every one of us girls were SKEERED of it.) Set aside a bit of the potatoes, add milk butter and onion and heat til hot. The pot set aside--potato soup without onions for me!!! And her. I found out much later that the reason I got soup without onions, and rice without raisins--because SHE didn't like them, either, so it was an excuse to not have to eat them as an example. :D

Could be. Wonder how people know what questions to call in? They usually pertain to the day's breaking news.
If she doesn't quit saying Casey will be facing DP until such time as the state indicates they are rethinking their position--I'm gonna SCREAM!!!! Also, she acted today like she had NO IDEA there had been a fight on the 15th. Unless she was asking in such a coy way as to try to get "inside" information from the People (or was is US) guy. I have some Irish blood. I LOVE potato soup. So do my kids. How do you make yours? I make mine thick and put bacon in it. It's sooooo good. Everytime we have gathering everyone always asks me to make my potato soup. I'm German/Irish so potatos and meat are my thing lol.
I do the traditional Irish soup, like grandma made.
saute onions in butter but do not let them brown. Add 2lbs potatoes peeled and cut up, 3 cups of milk, 5 cups of chicken stock. You can add leeks, if you like. Cover and simmer for about an hour - check the potatoes.
Make a roux with butter/flour (this is the part I don't like but worth the effort) keep stirring. Now add the roux to the soup - I use a wisk to avoid lumps - now for the good part, add a cup of light cream. Stir and cook until heated through. Salt and pepper to taste.
Now you can stop here and have a bit of a chunky soup. I like to use one of those electric whippers that you can put right into the pot and blend it to your liking. Sometimes I leave it a little chunky. I have a lot left, frozen in individual containers, ready to take for lunch. Feel free to top with bacon!

Has anyone here ever had a "Bone Density" test? I know what it is for, I just don't know what anyone can do about it. For the past three winters, I've been having aches and pains. I figure it's because I'm in my late 50's and arthritis runs in my family. I probably have osteoporosis too but I refused the bone density test. My doctor hates me. I don't buy into Western medicine, though they did save my life once.
Just wondering if anyone knows what they offer to cure melting bones.
Thanks.
PS I won't even go into why I don't want an anal probe either. ;)
The bone density test tests mainly for osteoporosis. They usually like to do one when you are in your 50's to get a first reading and then if you have an issue they have something to compare it to. The Sally Field commercial - you know the one - take your pill once a month to prevent osteo.
I had one done because I had surgery last year on my foot and the surgeon wanted to know what my bones were doing. Shanty Irish. Dense bones. Recovered nicely.

There are medications that can "reverse" the bone thinning process. Fosimax is what I used to take, one a week. Sally Field advertises another that is taken once a month. According to her, the bone thinning process has been reversed. The bone density test is much like an xray. You lay on a table and they move a machine over you--in mine, I think it was pretty much just the hips and pelvis. Can't remember if the knees were included, and I'm pretty sure the spine wasn't.

My mother has gotten the Bone Density test a few times - it's very easy and all you do is lie there, no probes, no clothes come off.
As for the other test, well, I've had it twice. First when I was 47 at my surgeon's insistence. He saved my life. I did have two benign polyps but I also had a lesion on the colon wall which was precancerous. I've had another test since then and they really are not bad. But then again, I've got the biggest crush on my doctor so, have at it doc. ;) He looks just like Tony Orlando but about 15 years ago. Knock three times....

I've been awake through the test because if I'm with my doctor, I don't want to spend too much time sleeping. :o I'm sort of in and out and I've watched it on the tv screen. The scarest part was during the first one everything was going fine and then all of a sudden the doctor says out loud - What's That? That is not what you want to hear when you are being roto-rootered. Then it became serious business, he was calling out instructions and asking for this and that and he said it was a very good thing that I had the test done now. It was the flat lesion which would not have shown up on a cat scan or MRI.

I was in the dentist chair Tuesday. The tooth the dentist has been undecided about filling had an abcess. So, he is probing and drilling (after numbing, of course) and he asks for suture. SUTURE????? WHAT????? He removes his hands and instruments enough for me to ask SUTURE? He says, I'll explain it later. Well, what am I going to do? Get up and walk out when something obviously needs sewn up. Later, (I was there for 1 1/2 hours) he asks for a syringe. A SYRINGE? And the aide hands him a 6 cc syringe with a bent needle on it. It is RIGHT IN FRONT OF MY EYES as she holds it, waiting for him to take it. Now, I have seen and worked with bigger needles, and this was fairly thin, and only a couple of inches long. BUT IT WAS GOING IN MY MOUTH!!!! Seems he had to cut the gum down some, and the needle was so he could put antibiotic into the tooth itself (or the root.) Which was all logical when he explained it, but it would have prevented some anxiety on my part if he had told me all that BEFORE.

http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/bone-density-test/MY00304 if you want more info.
http://www.boniva.com/
Boniva is what Sally Fields does the commercial for. It is suppose to help replace bone loss, but I would seriously recommend that you read up on the possible side effects before agreeing to take it.
I am a quarter Irish and that must explain my bone density. As a female I have a 9 inch wrist. The doctor that did my knee replacement last March complained because he had to use extra bone blades to get the old joint out.
Speaking of dentists... why do they ask if you are you "experiencing any pain?" If was their kid in that chair, they'd say, "Does it hurt?"
How's Amy today? Does it hurt?
Thanks for asking. Doing fine. Gotta go swish my mouth w/his peroxide mix mouth wash. Even ate popcorn last night, and didn't seem to leave anything that would cause irritation. Better pop that little anitibiotic pill while I'm @ it.

I have a dentist that does it so(I swear) it's a piece of cake.SHE is so gentle and is telling you "to expect a little twinge" now and then OR "here we go with the bumpy, noisy thing" OR "heres the stinky stuff"(some glaze, after the filling)
I did ask,yrs ago, when I began going to her,WHERE DID SHE GO TO SCHOOL?
I mean,I was IMPRESSED...........OF COURSE,it was in Athens!!!(go dawgs)
They cant teach this in any school, tho, imo.
I am serious.I dont know if she accepts new patients, BUT I willbe glad to share...
I told her,the other day, about my recent colonoscopy AND that, like my Doc that did THAT, I think it takes a special person to do these kind of procedures.AND they deserve every penny!!!! (She said that was a sweet thing to say.) I am dead serious tho, imagine having to go into either orifice, top OR bottom!!!!

I HATE the dentist. The last time I was there I got 2 fillings. I said I didn't want any needles going into my mouth and no gas. I used to do it all the time as a kid. Well let me tell you what!! About half way through my first filling I was about ready to tell him I wanted the needles. NEVER again will I do a filling without anything.

NOTHING????? OMG!!!!! The little swab has a nasty tang, but the needle isn't so much noticable--usually. When the numbness wears off before he can get finished, I'm dying!!!!
Growing up, all I ever had at the dentist was checks--well, once he pulled a tooth barely hanging on, and another that wasn't quite as loose as I tried to tell (was still losing baby teeth) My sisters, now THEY had cavities all the time. My first cavity was when I was 27--not too bad. But, several years later my mouth went to heck in a hand basket and I spent LOTS of time @ the dentist.

I posted this in the thread regarding the woman who gave birth to eight babies. Just wondering your opinions on the matter.
From what I saw on the news yesterday, the mother is a single parent, living with her parents in a small home. She does already have six children. I question the ethics of the doctor who implanted the eggs. I also question how they are going to feed these children, send them to school, clothe them etc. It makes me wonder if she wanted all those children just to get a television show like that family in Arkansas or Jon and Kate makes eight.

Way out west here. All my life except 3 year in Hutch going to school!!!!
The "big one" here was in '68, a couple of years before I moved here. I do remember the Andover tornado.
We get to "the big city" maybe once a year or so. My sister and I used to take our kids there for a couple of days for Spring break. We have an aunt in Kingman, so usually stay there instead of springing for a motel.

First, I think it is absolutely irresponsible for a single mom of six to decide to have even ONE more, unless she is and can continue to be the person to provide financial support of her family. Second, the doctor is a quack to do this. One of the medical experts on a show says the standard practice in the US and most countries TODAY is to implant ONE embryo @ a time, not two or three, but ONE, and certainly not eight.
Neighbors say she is on worker's comp or disability. Her psych tech license expired in 2002. You know, when there are 5, 6, and 7 babies born @ a time, the family gets a huge house, funished, of course. That includes several washers and dryers, restaurant size stoves and fridges and freezers. Oh, and don't forget the van. In this case, a couple, what with there now being 14 kids. And, free formula and diapers and swings and on and on and on. Heck, the parent(s) don't even have to work all that hard, lots of folks to come in and take care of the babies. Not to say she planned on eight, but the possibility was there as that was the number implanted. Maybe they figured maybe only 6 or 7 would survive.
I am sure that eventually she will be looking @ our tax dollars for the financial support of these kids. According to reports, the sperm donor (and that IS how it is said) is an acquaintance, they have had a relationship, but not a romantic/intimate one. He provided the sperm, but will not be looked to for financial support. EXCUSE ME!!!! I sure hope authorities (before they hand out the food stamps) look him up and make sure he is providing some support of these kids. Even dads who DID NOT WANT to have kids have to pay up (depending on the state, the area you live in.)
One of the TH's on one of the programs says, well, this could be a RELIGIOUS issue. They didn't want selective removal of any. Maybe she just feels she is a really good mom. PUKE!!!! First of all, I'm betting any religious group who many have a stance against birth control or abortion does not look upon in vitro as an absolute must in order to have more babies. And, a REALLY GOOD mom doesn't have more and more kids when those kids aren't going to have a pot to piss in or a window to throw it out of. A really good mom would want to stop @ the 6 (if not before) so they can all have nice clothes, adequate food to eat, etc etc etc.
Oh, and the kicker? Seems the 6 other kids (the oldest who is 7, the youngest 2 y/o twins) were conceived in the same fashion, compliments of the same sperm donor.
Don't have the link, but I was watching HLN (Mike somebody?) and Shepard Smith on Fox for the most part on this.

She didn't even give anyone a chance to answer. Once they started with WHY they think Cindy would not be in court today "THAT WASN'T MY QUESTION" then bark out the name of the next hapless guest. I wanted to scream "MAYBE SHE THO'T SHE SHOULD BE WITH GEORGE TODAY, GIVING EACH OTHER SUPPORT DURING THE HEARING."
Or, to say, you know, there are things I have seen other people do (or not do) and I would say, "WELL, if it were ME, I'd be doing this or that or the other." And, lo and behold sometimes I have found myself in some of those same positons and, you know what? I did (or didn't do) some of the very same people I judged. So, I DON'T KNOW if I would have been there. Of course, I would not have gotten past "you know" before she would have been screaming @ me!!!! lol
I tho't well, CASEY is the one who hasn't wanted to see them, maybe she (or thru Jose) has indicated to them NOT to come. And, wouldn't it be heartbreaking and agonizing to see her a few feet away, knowing you couldn't talk to her or hug her? And, to know that, she probably would not make eye contact with you for you to even blow a kiss?

I had to laugh because it made me think of mt granddaughter. She has one daughter, age 4. She and her husband agreed they would just have the one and devote what resourses they had to giving her the advantages. Recently, she went back to college. Her husband has a much better job and they are saving for the down payment on a house.
Well, both her sisters had a baby this spring and now she has decided she wants another baby. Heer husband told her she's crazy and he's beginning to think she is one of those people who always want something different from what they have. He also said it was one or the other, house or baby. Knowing her she will end up with both. He spoils her.

I have used those little thingees from the 99cent store, because they have lids and they're squeezable!
My trick is to use 3/4 cup of good vodka in place of 1 cup of cold water when ya make your jello, ok. (vodka doesn't freeze remember).
Lids off, cups in hand, now squeeze it out and plop it in your mouth. Tastes like......JELLO! Nothing else! THAT'S WHY they kick A**! About 5 each, gals. http://i44.tinypic.com/mi1dnr.jpg

For real. We were seated at a booth that was a little secluded and we were very happy cause it was nice and we didn't have to hear other conversations. Behind my mother was a cubbyhole type of wine rack. We finished eating and were ready to leave when I see this full bottle of wine "jump" out of the rack, hit my mother on the head and then her shoulder. I'm panicking thinking the rack is breaking and they're all going to hit her. What happened was on the other side of the rack were four guys sitting in a booth. One guy picked up his arms to put them behind his head and one hand pushed through the rack and knocked a bottle right off and onto my mom. Luckily the neck of the bottle hit her head and the base hit her shoulder. Not even a free dessert out of it, but mom's okay. She said she was looking at me and saw me looking shocked and didn't know why until she got hit on the head and then the bottle landed in her lap.

I absolutely go off when I hear a mom saying, well, I don't want the dad to have anything to do w/the kids, so I didn't go after him for child support (in this case, sounds like that was part of the deal. You give me the sperm, you don't have to ever put out a cent for support.)
Like Judge Judy and Judge Miles Lane say---you don't want the OTHER PARENT of these kids to provide support, but you don't have a problem MAKING ME and other STRANGERS support you and your kids? The dumb bozo broads they are talking to usually don't see what the ruckus is about. HEY, IF YA DON'T LIKE THE GUY, WHY GET UNDER THE FREAKIN' SHEETS W/HIM? NOT JUST ONCE, BUT 3 AND 4 AND.......TIMES!!!! :flamemad:
You know, I really don't care how many kids you (that is not any of you, you on the board, just a general world wide you, lol) want and have AS LONG AS YOU PROVIDE THE FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR THEM.
I remember a column by Molly Irvin (don't know who she is, a syndicated columnist, @ least some years ago.) She saw a young woman w/a couple of kids and was talking to her. Somehow the conversation got around to jobs--and the girl says she is a stay at home mom. She was asked about her husband--and she says, she doesn't have a husband. She was asked about who paid her bills, and she said the government does, as they should. She has the kids, the goverment is responsible for paying for everything because she wanted to stay home with her kids.
Now, I believe that conversation went down. We have teenage girls having babies (some dads are school mates, some are older guys.) They don't worry about getting married, or whether she and the dad can pay the bills, because they know that, because they have these babies, the government is not going to turn their backs on them. And, heck, as long as all the prenatal care is free, no cost for labor and delivery, it's not a big deal @ all. Heck, they don't even have to come up with the co-pay that people w/insurance has to. And, of course, there is WIC, and food stamps, and the kids have medical cards, and they don't have to pay for lunches @ school. And if the kids are on free lunch, they don't have to pay for the books and activity fees. The first time I saw that notice, I was LIVID. I am a single mom of two kids, and pay FULL price for school, insurance, co-pays, medicine etc etc etc.
Then, I have to listen to Tom Brokaw (boy, this still rankles after all this time--he's been retired for a while now, lol!!!) Anyway, he is giving one of his solemn reports about poverty, and how many house holds of how many children live under this amount of money. Really, the way he said it, it was like--it was MY fault. I'm screaming @ the tv--these women do NOT have to have half a dozen kids by half a dozen men!!!! These women need to be responsible to QUIT HAVING MORE KIDS WHEN THEY CAN'T AFFORD THE ONES THEY HAVE!!!!! Kind of like the rest of us do.
Anyway, once we started giving a free ride without any responsibilities, this mess really got started.
P.S. Someday I'll tell you how I really feel, lol.
[QUOTE=old_soul;9159875]

Well, surely they gave her the bottle of wine? That's the least they could do. After all, it was delivered to her lap!!!
We were a dry town where I grew up. Stogy ol' Methodists (that was the only church in town, had to go to other towns to be Baptist, Penecostal, etc.) Anyway, the only person in town who drank that I know of was my uncle--guess he could sock away those beers.
So, when I get to college, I don't have much experience with anything liquor. One time a girl and I went w/her bf and another guy. We're @ a football field. Don't know what the guys were drinking, but the gal and I got 7-up and sloe gin. It had a nice little taste, kind of a sugary 7-up, really. Don't know how much we consumed, and I tho't we were plumb up sober!!! Until we walked into the dorm. Don't know how they do it now, but back then, you had to sign in. Well, I figured I wasn't quite as sober as I tho't when my name was written rather large. We had a good ol' dorm mom. She didn't blink an eye when the pen went off the paper!!!! The guys were good ol' guys, too. Didn't even try to take advantage of us, but then, I don't suppose slobbering drunk sex was what they had in mind!!!!

Sounds like we grew up in the same place Amy. I was in Georgia though. The first drink I tried in college was cherry vodka and coke. My middle daughter graduated from college in 2005. I don't even think they had a dorm mother. :)

I lived in the legendary Caraway Hall at Arkansas Tech (ATU), where our dorm mother was frequently smashed. God love her, the place was full of Nichiren Shoshu Buddhists. It was probably all the incense and 4am chanting that drove her to drink. *nom myoho renge kyo*

Amy, I couln't agree more with what you siad. In this day and age, no one needs to become pregnant who doesn't want to have a child. You shouldn't have more children than you can afford to support without government assistance. I don't have any children but I am assuming that I'm supporting at least two. It's one thing to get into financial hardship through the loss of a job or illness, but to start a family knowing you'll just get more assistance is disgusting. I guess having children is their job. Infuriates me because my nephew, who is the light of my life, is an only child. How wonderful it would have been for him to have at least one brother or sister, but his parents were being responsible.

At least you live somewhere where there are choices. Unlike us here in BFE. We don't even have an Olive Garden. But I have a rule when eating out that I only choose food that they can make better than I do. So that makes Popeye's okay with me since I never fry chicken. Haaaa!!! Well my friend you've put me into "rationalize" why I can eat it, mode.
It's quality of life, ya see? I am tired of diets. I've been on a hundred of um! I've worked very hard all of my life. Since I was a little girl I've worked. My family was in the jewelry manufacturing business. (RI is well know for jewelry manufacturing, until China came and took it away, that is.)
I remember the foot presses that I kicked when I could hardly reach the peddle. By the time I was a teen I was producing massive amounts of things such as, sweater guards, earrings, and other products that came to my father's factory for steps in production.
I never liked gluing rhinestones into prototypes but I liked the foot press. There would be pieces of metal that were put on to a space on the press and when you pushed the peddle with your foot the upper part came down, slammed into it and it would transform into a small cup. Grosses of them would go to a table where other workers glued pretty stones in them. Many other products were manufactured the long way then.
Today there are machines and computers that accomplish the same thing. I learned more than jewelry manufacturing, I learned work ethics and took them with me throughout my life. Work was my middle name. I'm almost ashamed to be retired. I'm doing what I always wanted to do now however, and enjoying it.
So I figure I earned the right to eat chocolate.

My Dad is a big Chocoholic, he is 92 and says he loved it since he was a little boy, he would get 5 cent and go buy 5 Tootie Rolls and he felt like he was in heaven. Even now he must eat a few pounds of it a week. At his age he really dosen't want much in the way of gift so we all buy him Chocolate. I just had his Sugar levels checked ant they are fine so he can eat it as much as he wants.

Well, if I gave a fig, I would definitely send some to Casey in jail. Let's make sure she doesn't find out about them.

Our head wrestling coach was killed in a car accident last night. Please keep his wife and children in your prayers. My husband and son are just devastated.:rose:
I am so sorry. Will definitely send up a prayer.

Dan has asked me to let you all know that she spilled coffee on her keyboard this morning and is unable to get on here right now. She's expecting a new computer tomorrow and should be back soon.

Thank you. It means a lot. My husband coached with him and my son learned from him.

So sorry to hear A&O. Condolences to y'all and the family.
Thanks so much Lo. It's sad. I have a bad suspicion alcohol was involved since it was superbowl.
