I would not trust some of what he says. The whole reason he took the guilty plea was so he could be in the limelight once again. He is an egomaniac to boot. It has to be all about him. He wants to have his name "up in lights" as much as he can.
Edited to add: I really think he may have killed some more people in the time when he said he was inactive and the kills just didn't go as planned so he won't take credit for them. There were several he really didn't want to take credit for because they didn't go smooth. There goes that ego again.
Nola Foltson thinks so, too. And she's looking for some after the DP was reinstated. I know they were looking @ unsolved murders, but guess they couldn't attribute any of them to BTK.
One was hiding behind religion (radar) and I really believe the other had it forced on them. You see, it isn't about religion. It is what dwells within.
We recently had a chief of police whom everyone says looked like a ringer for BTK. A little skinnier, had a bit more hair, but he did resemble him. Personally, I tho't he looked more like some fellow who had just stepped off Skid Row. BTK was a little more well-groomed.

don't even want to use his name, but re: that Coleman scumbag..
SOB's goose is cooked, thank God. They traced those threatening letters he said he received to his laptop at the ministries, :flamemad:, and LE have unearthed 6 very naughty e mail photos of him and his mistress exposing themselves to each other...Hope the scumbag thinks what he has done is worth spending his time in prison being called Bend Over Bob.
NG has just revealed he also spray painted curses on the bed of his 9 year old in the red spray paint ~ while his son was laying there dead.
They found out the time of death to be 11 PM to 3 AM, before the scumbag went to 'the gym' that early morning....and I don't care if his mistress thought hwe was getting a divorece, she was an insider to the family being Sheri's friend (and I use that term very loosely), what she couldn't keep her legs crossed until the man was finally divorced? I'm thinking if you are going to be with your friend's husband ~ that's the least you can do!

Isn't he the worst SOB OS?!!!!! I read it on my CNN homepage today. They got the friken pond scum low life perverted pig! Tonight i told poppa about what they found and he said, his mistress was innocent and I said the same thing, "NOT! She's a POS!" If you have to screw around with a married creep, do not break bread with his wife! That would be my answer to her. She's no better than he is. Like attracts like... ewww, that man and his piggy girlfriend are the worse of the worst. Betcha she knew he was going to eliminate them and more than likely he'll blame her. He plead innocent! She had him brainwashed, betcha he said that! No honor among pigs.
He had to be drugged to commit that crime, had to be! Or he'll go for insanity.
What gets me the most is, they were not his to kill. She had a family out there who adored them, that SOB! Bend over Bob yayus! Shoot that mutha effer! Massacre him!:flamemad:
:rose::rose::rose: Dear God on the cross, why???
No way. That is used way too many times and we tend to think just because people do terrible things to others they must either be drugged or crazy. Not, they are evil. No good in them. Yes, there are people, and a lot of them, that think so much about themselves that they will do anyting to get what they want at any particular time. (it's all about me) Sad part is, "experts" teach that life is all about you, you should put yourself first. Wrong. Why can't people see that? Life is so much happier when two people each put the other one first. Dang. Maybe I should write a book. No one would read it but at least I would get it out of my head.

I understand what you're saying deacon. Answer me this: How did he hide his devious sick side all those years?
If he was unfaithful once with his wife's low life girlfriend, he had to have been unfaithful in the past. A cheating husband doesn't bloom that late. And IMO a killer is born not made just because he got a taste of a -porn flick come to life.- Why the 9 point 9 turn. He was obviously under the radar in his community.
I don't understand these things. I don't understand the kid killing! His mind had to be altered. His actions were or seemed out of character. What kind of thinking is that?

Each step down is taken and when we see that there are no consequences then we go to the next step. I would venture to say that his first steps were not to cheat on his wife. After no respect for her comes no respect for her life. If you have no respect for the person in your life that should be worth more to you than you own life then how can you have respect for the lives of your children? He built his life around himself. Stimulus Payment Info.
This year, taxpayers will receive an Economic Stimulus Payment.
This is a very exciting new federal program that I will explain using the Q and A format:
Q. What is an Economic Stimulus Payment?
A. It is money that the federal government will send to taxpayers.
Q. Where will the government get this money?
A. From taxpayers.
Q. So the government is giving me back my own money?
A. Only a smidgen.
Q. What is the purpose of this payment?
A. The plan is that you will use the money to purchase a high-definition TV set,
thus stimulating the economy.
Q. But isn't that stimulating the economy of China ?
A. Shut up.
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Below are some helpful hints on how you can best help the Canadian economy by spending your stimulus check wisely:
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
NOTE:
If you spend that money at Wal-Mart, all the money will go to - China .
If you spend it on gasoline it will go to - the Arabs.
If you purchase a computer it will go to - India .
If you purchase fruit and vegetables it will go to - Mexico - Honduras - Guatemala .
If you buy a car it will go to - Japan .
If you purchase useless crap it will go to - Taiwan .
None, repeat, none of it will help the Canadian economy.
We really need to keep that money here in Canada .
Therefore, to ensure that the money stays in Canada , spend it at:
- yard sales,
- go to a hockey game,
or
- spend it on prostitutes,
- domestic beer & wine, or
- tattoos,
Since those are the only businesses still located in Canada .
No way. That is used way too many times and we tend to think just because people do terrible things to others they must either be drugged or crazy. Not, they are evil. No good in them. Yes, there are people, and a lot of them, that think so much about themselves that they will do anyting to get what they want at any particular time. I'd read it!!! Would even BUY it, not expecting a free, autographed copy--altho I would like mine autographed. I'd probably even write a book review and recommend others read it!!
Just drop me a pm when it's ready, lol.
I understand what you're saying deacon. Answer me this: How did he hide his devious sick side all those years?

I don't know about previous hanky-panky by this guy, but I'm betting he stroked his ego with prior relationships, or even one night stands.
But, it seems people like CC, SP--I don't think they have previous murders under their belts. They spent their lives trying to look and and "normal." They did the "expected" things, probably BMOC in high school, or @ least an attempt to be. I'm thinking, if they had never gotten married, they might still be functioning in their own twisted way, and they wouldn't kill anyone around them. But, they get married, and @ some point the marriage is standing in the way (and children or the soon-to-be-born) of being free to do what he wants. But, a divorce (even tho, in SP's case, divorce was not unknown in his family) puts him as a less-than-perfect person. He has built a wonderful picture of himself, and does not want that blemished--to say nothing of having to split marital assests, looking @ paying child support and possibly alimony. Better to have the sympathy of everyone (and never, ever expecting it to be national news) Oh, the poor fellow. His family murdered. Let's gather around and support him.
I think it is about wanting to be free--and I've never bought into the package that SP would have married Amber Frey. IMO, once he was free, he would not have married again, he wanted to be able to go after any woman he chose, @ any time. Amber would have gone by the wayside in no time, IMO. I see where CC gave a time of 6+ months before he would be marrying his gf--and I'm betting in those 6 months, he would have been enjoying his freedom and he wouldn't have gotten married again, not so quickly.
But, they had to be "free" in a way that would not mar the upstanding image they have managed to build of themselves. People around them tho't of them as upstanding fellows, good family men. Don't want to tarnish the "perfect" image in any way by divorcing a woman who, by all accounts is a GOOD woman, a good wife and in Sheri's case, a good mother. Laci didn't get her chance to be a good mother.
And, there IS the money aspect. Even if the wives are not murdered for the insurance policies--it sure didn't hurt that those policies were in place. Especially if there were money problems already in existence. IMO

ITA. This was cold-blooded and pre-planned. They said in NG that the "threatening" e-mails from months ago were sent from Coleman's computer. It was set up so it would look like someone else did it, but instead of the ubiquitous roving band of hippies, Christian-haters were to be the perps. And that is why the scene had to look as evil and blasphemous as possible, to "sell" it.
Motive: keep his job in spite of the no-divorce clause from his boss, and yet get the girlfriend.
all imo...
No kidding-they were friends!!!! I wonder how she feels now. I know she did not commit the crimes but she sure as hay has the blood of all 3 on her hands. Like Deacon says--why would a woman think that, if a man cheated on his wife with her, would she expect that he would not cheat on her? Of course, when your IN LOVE, you just KNOW that he would change, and be faithful, cuz YOU are the RIGHT one for him!!! (I really, really need the barf icon.)
I don't think the gf expected he would MURDER his wife and family to be with her, I am sure she was just expecting a divorce. And, since Sheri is by all accounts a nice person, she probably didn't expect it to be a NASTY divorce. I wonder if she ever considered their friendship? Of course, I am of the notion they were friends or friendly in high school, it seems their families were friends, but I never got the impression they were BFF in high school, and most likely not in touch all that much since they became adults and had their own lives--thousands of miles distant. IMO
But, I do imagine she is feeling some guilt in knowing that allegedly, CC murdered his family for her. Altho IMO, he murdered his family FOR HIM. Heck, down the road, he might have been enjoying his freedom from responsibility and committment so much, he might have decided to stay single for a while to enjoy it to the fullest.

Well, he might have just wanted no wife, but could not get divorced, so this was the sick Plan B, a reset.
I don't agree with the TH's, though, about him being "full of hate"...I think he's full of nothing. The horrible grafitti is just part of the soddi set-up.

Because you are a man, your perspective is telling............
It was all about him. If they divorced he would lose his job. I would also agree, this was not his first affair. It was very sad to hear he and his parmour were actually planning their wedding. He meticulously planned out his killing, with the death threat letters dating back to March (if I remember correctly) so that when his time felt right, he would kill them. Yes, a set up. Planning every detail..
What bothers me is the degree to which he did the killings and cover up...the spray painting the wall, to even probably having sex with Sheri before he killed her, catching her off guard. (on that, it's my thought, because I can't see her sleeping or lying around naked in bed with the boys right in the next rooms.)

The only thing I wonder about is the sex thing. He could have been trying to form a picture of a home invasion/rape gone wrong. The perp. broke into the house to rape his wife and ended up killing her before the rape happened and then was forced to kill the children to make sure no witnesses.

Ya know, reading this is clearing up a few things. First of all, it proves how STUPID he is. He had a plan, however unrealistic, his plan was to get them murdered by a stalker and be the poor husband/father who lost his family. He doesn't watch TrueTV eh? He didn't' know they would look at his hard drive at work???????

Ya know, reading this is clearing up a few things. First of all, it proves how STUPID he is. He had a plan, however unrealistic, his plan was to get them murdered by a stalker and be the poor husband/father who lost his family. He doesn't watch TrueTV eh? He didn't' know they would look at his hard drive at work???????

Thats the prob Amy she didn't think. I am sure she did not expect this outcome but at the very least she would hurt Sheri and 2 young boys. I'm sure her brain was all wrapped up in lust land. People do the stupidest azz things and dont think when in lust. Lust and Love two different things. She was likely a bit of both and we know where his brain was :flamemad::cuss:

OHHHHH Don't EVEN get me started on THAT subject! Shall I?
After 20 years of marriage to a heavy drinker who lived his off time in a local bar, where only men went to drink, I learned something. THe place was a dump. No phone. Never saw a woman in there. Just old drunks and he was the youngest in there. I had 4 kids and a pizza place down the street a few blocks. When ever I needed to tell him something, like "Ah hello? It's Xmas Eve, ya wanna get home? Or, Can you get yourself to the high school, our son is graduating tonight? Or, Can you get home and watch the kids so I can go to work? Needless to say, he was a jerk..
Anyway, one night I went in there to tell him something and I saw a woman sitting in the corner. She had a black eye. I asked him who she was. He said, "Ah, she's just a prostitute. Hmmm, I saw her after that a few times too.
When I left him he was seen with her. It took no time to learn he and she were a thing. 7 years later I married Poppa and on occasion they were invited to attend celebrations for my kids, weddings, graduations several of those parties were held at my home. I was cordial. I was also happily married.
One day the stupid idiot said to my DD, "I've been with your father for 15 years and still, no ring." She said, "HOW LONG? Gosh my mom and dad have only been divorced for 11 years!" I guess she failed math in grammar school.
They are no longer a thing, she's been long gone for a while now, but the day she looked me in the eye at the red light, on my way to work, I knew. Wives always know. Sometimes they don't know WHO, but they know.

Aww thank you Beem. :) Actually it got even better than that. I didn' thave to ask him how he likes me now, he stutters when he sees us. After she maxed out his credit cards and and ran off with another guy much younger than her, he was out on a limb and was contemplating moving in with one of our kids. Poppa offered him a low rent ( 3 roomer second floor) in a house we own in the city. So now he pays us rent.
When poppa got the first rent check he called me over to his desk and handed it to me and told me to go buy something nice for myself. I didn't notice the signature. I asked him what it was. He said, "A present for you" I almost peed when I saw the signature and he said, "That's some Karma baby!"

Wow-keep an eye on it BOB since ya dont know what it was. I had one a coupla years ago but i did not know what it was. Ever so helpful hubby was panicking thinking i had the flesh eating disease. It was on my upper arm. It was growing before our eyes-the big bubble and the red hot around it. Had a hole in the middle. I had a left over cortisone cream that i put on the hot and it took that down. I finally went to the docs as this huge blistery thing was still there. He took a needle and drained it-dressed it and good to go. Try a cortisone cream if ya have one. Good luck and keep us posted.

IMO
Excellent porfiling deacon! It all makes sense. Thanks. I love answers.

Amazing, isn't it? To speculate: Somebody in a factory thought, hey, this is nice fabric! And the importer didn't do any tests to see if the robes met standards. (that was speculation) When I've travelled, I've seen gasoline used to scrub pots, gas cans used to haul water, tires burnt for making bread, you name it (the gov may be intrusive, but we are lucky here anyway!)
Some fabrics are literally made out of petrochemicals and torch up...but even scarier are the flame retardant chemicals on baby materials *shiver*

Well, by being there they are not agreeing with what he did. I would be there. Not because I think he is innocent or because I think he should be "cut a break." Simply because he is my son. I don't tend to withhold my love because someone has messed up. No matter how much they have messed up. Now, that does not mean I agree with what they did, it just means I love them in spite of what they did. Shoot, if you quit loving people because they did something wrong there would be no one left to love. We all mess up. No, I do not agree with what this dork did. It is evil and he should be punished for it. What ever that punishment should be. The difference between this case and the cma case is that the ant's are making excuses and saying she did not do it. They are media hounds and are playing it to the hilt. These folks don't seem to be doing that. Simply quietly supporting their son and not drawing attention to themselves. If they start doing the media/deny thing then my opinion of them will change.

Hmmm, thinking about what you said, I know that love doesn't end when our children do wrong. Of course not. My problem is when parents defend and lie for children who kill. I would definitely NOT be in court if that happened in my life. My love would remain however, of course.
What the A's have done is try to make fools of the public and made fools of themselves instead. We get that it's their daughter, and we get that they love her and want to support her. So they should shaddaph and do it. Most parents do it. There is no sin in that. Sometimes our children are wrong. When mine are wrong, I say they're wrong. It has nothing to do with my love. When they make me proud, I talk to that too. ;)
When they get on about her innocence they are of the mind set that she represents who they are, and they are really defending themselves. That's the part of them I can't stomach. Before this happened they lived vicariously through her too. My hat's off to them if they think she's innocent but I wouldn't want to be them the day she's convicted. They'll fight that too.

Hey, it's 17:45 here -- I'm thinking dinna! I got a nice piece of salmon fillet that I am wondering what to do with.
I'm leaning toward a cold pasta salad. I think it's somewhere in the 80s with matching humidity.

Mmmmm...Friday night was the one night we would get decent food on the dig, lol! Actually, different food. Every single day we were served chicken schnitzel and mashed potatoes with gravy. It was good. But then I began noticing that it was every day, and it lost its luster...
That sounds like a fine meal, MP!

Ya know, though we'll all on red eye alert when it comes to the kiddies, it does occur to me that 99% of the abductions are surrounded by circumstances that would never be present in our lives. The sickness of the A's, the stupidity of Nevaeh's mother, the trust unwarranted by so many parents that never expect such things really can happen... but the thing that gets me the worst is Coleman who ate at their table every day. That's the stuff I have a hard time resolving. It makes ya want to get very hyper vigilant about who is who.
The media has taught us a lot. It taught us not to let the kiddies go play in the toy isle at Sears. It taught us not to fall asleep before our kids do when they're having a sleep over. And on and on... so as bad as it can be, the media does good too. :(

I go to the town of Sonoma for the 4th. My mom lives there. At 10 am they have the perfect small town parade, the mayor blowing out the clutch on a borrowed Lamborghini, kids in a marching bands totally out of sync, the weiner dog brigade dressed in buns, a Shetland pony painted like a zebra (I hope with safe paint!) and there is a camel, I have no idea why. There's a fair in the plaza with dunking booths and voter registration, a turkey roast...Then at night a great fireworks show that no one in the Bay Area knows about. Everybody in town donates $10 to the volunteer firemen, and they blow the wad on a great show that you can literally lie under in the field.
3 years ago I had to submit an insurance claim to get a dent removed from my car because the camel fell into it. Do you have any idea how much fun it is to submit a claim like that?:D

Oh my gawd a camel dent-did they laugh really hard?? Now that sounds like a perfect day!!! Anytime i have been state side for the 4th it is just the best. Not a whole lot goes on here in my city for Canada Day. Most fireworks have been cut out due to the expense and they are no where as good as U.S. fireworks. We have taken to having a family gathering out at the farm. Family member is a pyrotech guy and can bring your good fireworks across the border legally. Everyone chips in and what a light show. I luv town gatherings such as what you describe. I think we need to get back to that.

LOL!!! I just figured out the Minnesota, Massachusetts thing!!! I didn't notice the banners in the first video  I like watching the videos of kids that age--so sincere, but with attention wandering in many cases!!! Always having to look over to see what the other kids are doing, lol!!!!

No 4th of July parade here, we have just finished up w/Beef Empire Days, and that involves a big parade. Guess they can't all get together 2 months in a row, lol!!!
But @ the 3I grounds, the firemen (I guess, can't remember who funds it) have a big fireworks display. People used to park on the 3I lot, and around the river (dry bed, of course ;)) but seems for the past 10 or more years, they haven't gotten to. People were doing their own fireworks on the grounds, and putting other attendees in danger. I have never gone TO the fireworks--I HATE crowds, and it takes FOREVER to drive away!!!! But, from the north end of town, you get on top of your car, or go to Dillons parking lot and see the display nicely from there. The fireworks are on the south end of town. (Have to find a place where you can see over the old, tall, trees twixt here and there.)
OR, go behind Robinson's furniture store, and in the alley along the way--it's a few blocks from the display, and you can see nicely from there. Good think trains don't run thru that time of day--that viewing spot is pretty darn close to the tracks!! Since we moved to the little town 6 miles west, we used to be able to see the fireworks sitting on my driveway. Now, too many houses have gone up. We did used to take lawn chairs and sit on top of the dirt piles left from digging basements, lol.
For the most part, fireworks are banned by regular people, usually because of fire hazards. Not that it has stopped too many people, there are firework stands all over the place just outside city limits, and from the last week of June til July 4, there are always crowds there to buy. In fact, starting just the other night, people are either using up some fireworks from last year, or have found some place that is selling already. Cuz things were poppin and boomin all over the place!!!

:seeya:
Gotta luv poppa! :rose:
My ex is still an asshat, (though much improved) just an older one. Whaddiyagonnado? :)

Sorry to hear u are having crappy weather. It seems everyone is. Yesterday was supposed to be nice-drizzle in the a.m. then just overcast all day. A bit coolish. Today is HOT and sunny. Nice in the shade but i think it's going to be a cooker and feels a bit humid already. Maybe Beast of Bears can explain to us how long we are going to be in this weather cycle?

Freaky! I can find it easily, but the link won't work...here's a relevant snippet:
"And from an AccuWeather article on lightning, Joe says parts of the US may have a year without a summer”:
According to Long Range Expert Joe *******i, areas from the northern Plains into the Northeast will have a “year without a summer.” The jet stream, which is suppressed abnormally south this spring, is also suppressing the number of thunderstorms that can form.

I likey-you must share your talent. When i was a kid there was a very talented young guy-musically inclined and could paint like no tomorrow. I had a huge crush on him cuz he looked exactly like Paul McCartney and he played beatle tunes endlessly. Us youngers were always his audience. He would draw and paint and give us his art. I shudder to think as a kid they eventually hit the garbage. He went on to be a fairly successful artist in Toronto-his name was Brian Jones. He passed away last year from a sudden cancer.

Ha! Let's see if I get an answer. I just sent our president an email regarding the "new taxes" he doesn't want to pass but needs to find a way to pay for health care. I asked where the increase on alcohol were. You see, alcohol is the third leading killer of people in this country but we have not increased taxes on it in years. We have repeatedly on tobacco but not alcohol. BTW, that is third counting just the number of deaths on our nation's highways attributed to DUI, not the number of deaths from other types of alcohol abuse. I would venture to say, if you counted all deaths attributed to alcohol it would be close to number one but certainly number two.
I guess it is just socially acceptable to drink and kill people on the highway but not smoke. And I don't smoke. I just think we are blowing it out of preportion.

I don't smoke either, and I so agree with you! Somehow, it has become okay to declare cigarettes and smokers the Devil Incarnate! Most smokers I know are very polite about it, always ask if its okay and then go downwind so I don't get it. Drunks on the other hand...not so polite. I guess alcohol producers have a better lobby. (Heaven forbid people actually quit smoking...what would the government do for revenue then?)
Its all about distracting us from the real problems out there, imo. For example, Global Warming, or Climate Change as it's known now (since the "warming" fell through)...instead of us dealing with REAL problems, like the desertification of Africa from overgrazing, or the deforestation of the Amazon, things that are REAL and solvable, they have us chasing this snipe to keep us distracted. I mean, come on! Charging farmers a $175 per cow tax for cow flatulence?! This is actually going before Congress...maybe they should tax Bush's Baked Beans next!
imo, and I am VERY opinionated!

We are taxed heavily on both up here. I think a case of beer goes for close to 40.00. Bottles well times your prices by about 4. I think a carton of cigs is around 80.00. Deforestation of Amerca would also be on that list. I am on a big construction site where we had protesters out of the ying yang to begin with. They cut a large piece of forest down so they would have room for all of the components and "stuff" associated with construction. Funny thing is, the company we are building for has plans to REPLANT the trees when we are finished. Not so in many places. "Greenhouse gases" are what plants thrive on. Give me a break

1. here the idiots will drive whether they have a license or not.
2. Most of them don't have insurance. Don't know why they don't pull the vehicle license, I guess that would require them to leave the doughnut shop.
3. what social stigma? Most of the lawyers have DUIs and some of the judges have them too not counting the politicians. That is why they refuse to clamp down on it. None of the judges or lawyers could get to court without a "winocycle". (moped)

Wow-even sadder-oh and i forgot a hefty fine attached as well. There is a lawyer that for 10 thousand can get alot of folks off. I wonder how he sleeps at night? We have a trial going on right now where 4 beloved ladies were killed by a drunk driver. They were very active in the community with their volunteer work. All widowed and great friends. All 4 were killed instantly in the city not out on a highway at greater speed. I had to stop reading about it as he says he was not DUI but of course evidence says otherwise. States he only had one beer. Our kids have a program taught in every high school and we have a graduated licensing system. If they are caught with any alcohol in their system during the process license is POOF and there is no way they could afford the insurance after they got it back. Insurance is steep enough with a clean record. For a male under 21 average insurance is 3 thousand for the year. Kids have always got around by cab on cocktail nights. It's just the norm here for most. Of course ya have the idiots.

I'm glad to hear Tim is looking better-he looked horrid last year. If anyone could do it to ya we all know who. Since his phone is prolly not ringing one would think he would contact others and volunteer. Sadly that does not appear to be the case. That boat is going to dry rot. Still going to the vigil Gator?

It is going to be a short summer i fear :cuss: My fav. time of year!!!! Boat should be home by 2ish. I'll leave then-i will have to call in sick tho
Looks like I will have a very long summer. It's been mid-to high 90's here since the end of May. With the humidity factored in, it has felt like 105 almost every day. I have been going straight home after work so I can put some cool water into my tadpole pails. I am afraid they will overheat and die. For those of you who have kids who need science projects - this is a great one. I had two buckets full of water and tadpoles in only one bucket. I took some out and put it them into the empty pail. One still had many more than the other. Well, the tadpoles which are in the bucket that has less in it, are growning three times as fast as the full bucket. The crowded bucket still has very small critters while the less full bucket has critters that are ready to grow legs. Environment matters.

Yes Ma'am. I'll be there, it starts at 6 p.m. It's two minutes away. I'll take notes and pictures. I'll be the CL reporter! I hear they are going to release balloons. Is there anything I should do special from the CL crew? I wonder if Padilla will be there? :o

That was southwest of me and it really didn't pick up much local news. It's about 200 miles from Orlando. The family didn't do much to get attention so I guess the media just dropped it. My opinion, lost. The poor child had the mental capacity of a toddler. There are canals winding through every street there. I would not be surprised if an alligator got him, as horrible as that sounds. There isn't even any proof that he was outside by himself. Who leaves a child who is developmentally challenged alone?

No one who wants to keep him safe. :( I've seen the grandmother, I'm sure they are devastated, but...I wish people would think in small communities. If its insular, people think someone will be watching out, I guess. Like Sandra...and who knows how many kids wander off...
Yikes!"
If you google "year without a summer" and Joe *******i (love the name!), you find the article.
We haven't had all that much in the way of hot days here. It's overcast again this week, some storms, but luckily for me, always just to the south or on over east. I do remember a couple of other years (well before the global warming thing--in fact, not too long after the global cooling stuff) where it was cool and rainy into June. Sure saves on the water bill for the lawn, lol!!!
Aw, nuh uh,, really? You like? I don't always show my paintings, I just..well it was fun doing these two anyway.
Thank you BoB and Beemer. :o
I admire people with an artistic talent!!! Your pics are great!!! What is that about mud? You don't use just paint, but other things, too? Or, were you painting mud?
Seems like there is a move (yet again) of people wanting to tax things like fast food, potato chips, whatever "someone" (haven't figured out who is going to get to be the king of "bad food") deems as unhealthy. That includes things like beef--yeah, throw us under the rug here. I guess someone somewhere wants us all to live on tofu, soy milk, and celery.
Anyway, once the gov't has started on determining how each of us lives our lives, starting w/tobacco, what kind of car we can drive, etc etc etc, it's all downhill from there. We are already seeing the effects of this. I don't like something you do or eat or wear or drive, I just go to the government to try to get them to tell you to live how I think you should live.:flamemad:

I likey-you must share your talent. When i was a kid there was a very talented young guy-musically inclined and could paint like no tomorrow. I had a huge crush on him cuz he looked exactly like Paul McCartney and he played beatle tunes endlessly. Us youngers were always his audience. He would draw and paint and give us his art. I shudder to think as a kid they eventually hit the garbage. He went on to be a fairly successful artist in Toronto-his name was Brian Jones. He passed away last year from a sudden cancer.
Aww :( He came to leave his gifts. I love that you appreciated him.
I don't believe it was meant for me to sell my paintings. I give them away. Sometimes someone will inspire me to paint certain things. Mostly I paint Victorian scenes. I ran out of walls years ago and my kids ran out of walls too. I've been practising portraits, not my speed, but I'm trying. I don't usually like my stuff but art is definitely in the eye of the beholder. I suspect a lot of my paintings are hanging on garage walls. ;) I'm never happy with my own paintings.. I'd rather hang the weebles paintings. They are brilliant! :) I love kid art.
I also love photography. I enlarge interesting shots, frame them and hang them. I got a good shot of goats crossing a road. No one understands why I hung it on the wall in poppa's office. LOL!

Yep Beemer. Poppa is an Ins broker and he sees that every day. When someone gets a DUI they have to insure their car and their license. You'd be surprised how fast they come up with the money! Unbelievable!

IMO, all the government programs should be reviewed and redone. Such as, there are people of all sorts on welfare programs that have no business being there--they just would rather sit back and get the money than to actually have to be @ work 40 hours a week. You, get up to the alarm clock, get showered and dressed and all that.
I do not begrudge those that clearly need assistance--in particular the person w/chronically debilitating conditions, the parents with children who need exceptional care, etc. The "old folks" who spent their lives working their fingers to the bone. I remember when the welform programs were introduced. Actual welfare was supposed to be a stop-gap for people down and out on their luck--some help whilst they got their lives together and could find work to support themselves and their families. I know people who went on welfare for that reason. Maybe food stamps to feed the kids, help w/rent and such. But their goal was to get OFF welfare as quickly as they could. I don't know when it evolved into the mess we have today.
There are so many ways to "beat the system." We have 3rd and 4th generations of people who have been in the system for all their lives. There are people who, as far as they are concerned, feel that "the government" "owes" it to them to be supported.
I remember when my niece graduated from high school. That year, Bill Clinton was proposing that teen moms be paid to attend school, have their daycare paid for, and when they graduate, give them a $5000 "reward." I wondered, what about my niece. Her parents were divorced, she worked part time @ Sonic, she was on the dance team and in the science club among other things. She graduated in the top 10% of her class of more than 300 kids. What reward was SHE going to get for not falling into the teen pregnancy trap? Shouldn't the "reward" be for those who work hard to do the right thing?
There are hardworking folk who could use some assistance. I would rather see them getting some help than the perfectly able bodied people who just don't want to have to go to work everyday. There are so many programs that can be accessed, there are some people in the system who have a better level of living than some of us who work our tushes off. I guess we are the fools to work so hard for someone else to get the benefit of our endeavors.

Right. That is true here too, but for two years you pay to literally insure your your license, as if it were another car. They call that an SR22 charge. Poppa calls the big insurance putanas the worst and most thieving enterprise in the nation. He fights with them daily to protect his clients. The problem with SR22 is that the people who must have it don't need to be driving a car. I hope he realizes that he isn't going to find a person at most insurance companies that have a brain.
When they call these taxes a "sin tax" they are misleading people. Neither drinking alcohol nor smoking is a sin. Doing them to excess, well that is another story. JMO

California launched a "welfare to work" program, limiting the amount of time you could be on welfare, but upping support for job training, helping job hunts, etc. Oh, how people screamed! You would think that once it took effect, you would see people marching in the streets, saying they could not feed their kids. Nope, nada. But I have seen a lot more people with disabled placards running around the parking lots. I know there are hidden disabilities, but if you can run around, are you disabled? I know my disabled mom can't run. Could those that are of the nature to shirk work finding another solution? Methinks 'tis so...
I totally support welfare and its variables. People need it and we all pay into the system in case we need it. But it should not be a way of life for the able-bodied.

Different situation, but I actually had a good experience with the gecko company after an accident. It was the other guys insurance company, and he was at fault. I told them I didn't want to make a profit, just not come out one single dime behind. They took care of everything within 48 hours, and even threw in a couple extra missed work days I hadn't claimed "just in case". I know they were probably relieved that I wasn't making a federal case out of it or going "oh, the pain, the pain"...but I was really worried since I was out of state and in an expensive rental car-and my boss had told me to decline the insurance, since the organization's insurance covered me. (Uh, so not! She claimed she had never said that! I forwarded her own e-mail back to her...TG it was 100% the other guy's fault!)
So, just wanted to give them props, or at least the claims adjuster I worked with...

The problem I have is that what we PAY in for Social Security is funding a whole bunch of the "perks" for those who do not and have never worked. And every child they have bumps up the amount. If it were going to raise the children I would have less heart burn about it but I know it is not. ok, so i WAS scheduled to go to the doctor and take the infamous Sugar Test yesterday......i showed up for my appointment at 2pm and checked in with the desk clerk and went and had myself a seat in the lobby and waited. i proceeded to WAIT for an hour and a half in a crowded waiting room. at 3:30 i got up and went to find out how much longer i had to wait still, because being pregnant and sitting their is no fun at all. i get to the front desk and i am informed that my doctor was called away for an emergency one HALF HOUR BEFORE i even got there, and yet they allowed me to check in and proceed to WAIT all that time, instead of just telling me when i got there that my damn doctor had to leave and i needed to reschedule my appointment, which would have been the COURTEOUS thing to do!!!!! :cuss::cuss:
why the hell would they just let me sit their like an idiot for almost 2 hours, and then they didn't even tell me, i had to go and ask them, WTF!!!
so i proceeded to get angry with them, and i noticed there were several OTHER extremely pregnant women their, and since their is only ONE OB that works at this office i proceeded to say very loudly that any and all pregnant women should come up and reschedule because the doc wasn't even here! HAHAHAHA showed those desk women a thing or two about common courtesy at least, they were bombarded by a stampede of women in their third trimesters who were EXTREMELY PISSED OFF at having to wait all that time for nothing. alot of those women had been their MUCH LONGER than i had myself, and one of them was actually there to discuss inducing labor.....so maybe next time they will think about that before they just keep on checking in patients KNOWING that the doctor is gone and is not coming back that day. hahaha its evil of me but i am happy knowing that i made their jobs a little less pleasant yesterday.

You are entitled to your outburst. It's cruel and unusual punishment to make you sit there for two hours with no hope of getting your test done. When were they going to tell you? When they closed up and left for the day?

Oh, I know. Mine drove me totaly crazy. Add to that my son was "breach" and she had to have a c-section. She was in the bed for four freakin weeks driving me crazy. She thought I couldn't do anything for myself. Whined all the time about not being able to get and clean or cook for me. Finally I told her to shut her trap. I am a big boy and do for myself and you, thank you very much. I am not a kid and her worring about me didn't do her a bit of good. :D Worked too. Go figure.:rose: for you and your stay in the office

ok, so i WAS scheduled to go to the doctor and take the infamous Sugar Test yesterday......i showed up for my appointment at 2pm and checked in with the desk clerk and went and had myself a seat in the lobby and waited. i proceeded to WAIT for an hour and a half in a crowded waiting room. at 3:30 i got up and went to find out how much longer i had to wait still, because being pregnant and sitting their is no fun at all. i get to the front desk and i am informed that my doctor was called away for an emergency one HALF HOUR BEFORE i even got there, and yet they allowed me to check in and proceed to WAIT all that time, instead of just telling me when i got there that my damn doctor had to leave and i needed to reschedule my appointment, which would have been the COURTEOUS thing to do!!!!!
That is SO unacceptable! I hope it at least wasn't the fasting one, because I would have eaten the receptionist before leaving!

Animal lovers man am I mad! I worked for this vet a while back and they dismissed me because of a dispute we had. Prior to this they had given me two used doghouses that they said to take as they no longer had any use for them. The dismissal was because they accused me of misusing the computer. After they looked into it, it turned out to be another employee. I was pretty upset that I was dismissed because I loved working with animals and I was wrongly accused. . Anyhow, all of sudden I get this letter to return the doghouses they gave me or pay 125.00 each for them. I flat out refused, A few weeks ago this vet came into my place of employment to hassle me about those doghouses which she is not allowed to do. Now here is the real rub. I took my pets to another vet who is really wonderful and he wanted the old vet to send over results from a test on Brodys liver function in order to put him under safely for a procedure in the future. The former vet refused to send the records by fax. I called and they told me they would not release the records unless they got the doghouses back. It is my contention if I owed them a million dollars they do not have the right to withhold the medical records of my dog as punishment or as a bargaining tool. It is about my dogs health after all. Now I can get a new liver panel obviously but is the principle of the thing. I do not think it is ethical to do this over a financial dispute but I can't find any info online about KS codes governing this specific subject in my state. I could of course return the doghouses but they were given to me and the vet even admitted this when she hassled me at work. She said the person who gave these to you did not have the authority to do so. It was in fact her who gave them to me! Just on general principle I do not feel like returning these doghouses. Any suggestion on my recourse with the medical records pet lovers?? I can't afford a lawyer.

I'd write a scathing demand letter myself and include ethics info:
National code of ethics: http://www.avma.org/issues/policy/ethics.asp
I would suggest point (II. L.) as a useful point.
( III. D.) (VI. D.1.) says they have to give the records and info to a new vet. VIII. D. says they are REQUIRED to provide copies of med records to you.
Also, the American Veterinary Association has a code of ethics online, but its a PDF, just google it if you want to threaten with that one, too.
Good luck! Financial issues are totally separate from health care, imo! And I think this IS an ethical violation.

You got lucky BoB! I love the part where you stuck your boss's foot in her mouth! ;) Good goin!
We don't' say the word Gecko in my house.. lol!!!! In fact I had the poster enlarged of the Gecko in the eagles mouth with the words"Let's see this little **** sell insurance now!" printed under it. And hung it on Poppa's wall in his office foyer. People laugh every time they see it. One client wanted a copy of it.

You need to write a letter stating exactly what you posted about the situation. It read well and told the story clearly. Then send to the people who will threaten to pull her license away from her so fast she will be over your house with money to PAY YOU for the dog houses and give you the records that are your property too!
There is no way she can hold back those records and if she is'nt borderline nuts, she would know that. You can send her a copy of the letter. She will lose her bladder control. That oughta learn her. I hate those kinds of people! She's a bad one! :flamemad:

From BoB's link:
Ethically, the information within veterinary medical records is considered privileged and confidential. It must not be released except by court order or consent of the owner of the patient.
Veterinarians are obligated to provide copies or summaries of medical records when requested by the client. Veterinarians should secure a written release to document that request.

Sun? What's that? Went to DD's outdoor graduation last night wearing Under-Armour under my dress clothes and I still froze. We sat on the football field, AstroTurf, and the dampness was overwhelming. Not to mention the wind swirling through the stadium.
Little vent here - people sitting near me brought their 2 week old baby wearing a footie sleeper and nothing else. No hat, no blanket, no jacket. These were not young, inexperienced parents. Professionals, late 30's. They had to have had a kid graduating or they would have had to sit on the bleachers, not on the field.

I had an appointment for 10 or 10:30 once to be tested for diabetes. Had to be fasting, since midnight, and that's a long way to go there. Anyway, by 11:30 when I was still in the waiting area, not even in a cold little cubicle, I had asked, could I just go to the lab and get the blood work done so I could eat SOMETHING? (Even if you're not a diabetic, going that long is heck, but IF you are a diabetic--it could be disastrous!!!!) Well, they just really didn't know what all test the doc would be ordering. GMAB!!!! It's pretty damn routine what blood tests would be fricking run to check for diabetes!!! And, how's about just drawing a LOT of blood, so he can run any damn test he wants? Some in each of the little different vials that have different subtances in them. Nope, cannot do.
DD was with me, observed patients going in and out of the other offices. She says, "Mom, you should go to one of the other doctors--all those people have been in and out and we just sit here!!!" I finally went to the window, saying I was canceling the appointment. The receptionist asked when I would like to reschedule. I told her--NEVER!!!! And, do NOT send me a bill for this visit that I WAS HERE FOR, AHEAD OF TIME, BUT WAS NOT CALLED IN OVER 2 HOURS!!!!! So, I went to the nurse practitioner I had seen for a sore on my arm, and needed to show her. She saw how upset I was and sent me to the lab, and took over from there.
I can't believe the receptionists were surprised that I was so upset--even tho I know w/this doc, you DO NOT get in, in a timely manner. I can't have been the first person to be upset. And, they don't even give the excuse of being called away for emergency (I am a nurse @ the hospital there, and they know better than to lie to me) but admitted they overbook!!!!:flamemad:
I loved going to the nurse practitioner. My DD started going there, too. I was in the room by the appointed time, and she was right in there, did not have to wait for more than a few minutes any time I was there. She also TALKED to me (the difference between a doctor and a nurse--nurses get LOTS of "training" in talking to and LISTENING to the patient, lol) We would not only discuss what was going on w/ME, but also how things were going s/DD--and when I took DD in, she also discussed things about me. She moved away a couple of years ago. I sure miss her, altho there are other NP's around. (Crying icon goes here.)
When I was still going to this same doc, I was having skin tags removed. He only does "surgery" @ the end of the day. So, one day I am there @ the appointed time (it sure is funny, YOU have to be there ON TIME, or you are a no show. The DOC can come in any time he darn well pleases, regardless how long you have to wait.) I wait and wait, and finally, the receptionist comes to me and says, doc is delayed, would I like to wait or reschedule. So, I rescheduled.
On the rescheduled day, again, I am there on time. I wait and wait. Finally, I seem to be the only person in the waiting room where the lights are now dimmed. Even the receptionist is gone. I'm thinking--what the heck--did they FORGET I was here? Nope, after a while, here comes the doc's nurse, wondering if I want to go in, or to reschedule. I am SURE she expected me to reschedule, but I told her, this is the 2nd time I have been here, I have waited all this time, and I want the procedure done TODAY!!!! Bet it ruined their evening plans to have to work so late, but what the heck. I have better things to do than to sit in a doctor's office waiting to be rescheduled!!! :flamemad:

I like nurse practitioners, too. They have had a lot of training, I think it requires a master's, and they have to keep up on their medical training.
I was seeing a doctor for months, I told him I thought the baby was breech. Oh, no, she's head down. Then he cancelled on me and I saw a nurse practitioner at 36 weeks, and she took one look at me from across the room and asked how long the baby had been breech! She saved me from a c-section.
After that, I changed doctors.

Soapbox time. You know, that is what is wrong with our healthcare system today. Doctors have become a bunch of people who think the world revolves around them and their schedule. Not only that but they have become money hungry. They claim that their malpractice insurance is the reason they charge so much and the the reason they have to have such a messed up schedule and that is a crock. They live in the biggest houses in town, along with another group that I dearly love, lawyers. (please not sarcasim) On the insurance thing, if they spent more than two minutes with a patient and cared as much about them as they do about their tee time this afternoon, they wouldn't make so many dad blasted mistakes and then their dad blasted insurance wouldn't be so high.

My beloved Gator is gone. He died at 5:30 tonight with me by his side in my bedroom. He was great yesterday but took a bad turn last night at 7:00. I could tell I would not be able to save him this time. This afternoon his eyes told me he was ready to rest. His vet came over and it was so peaceful. I will miss my best friend forever.

So sorry to hear that. I can say, I know how you feel. Lost my cat of 16 years a month ago and I still catch myself looking out of the window at home waiting for her to come up to eat. Well, not so much for food and to be loved.

well damn, if i am ever on your side of the world i will be sure to NOT get medical attention for anything.........................
I don't either J... I get my medical services in Massachusetts. Last time I had surgery I went to Lahey clinic in Boston area. RI is famous for medical screw ups. I know they've saved lives too, but this state is still famous for screw ups. I've been leaning more and more toward Eastern Medicine.

You are welcome to come here. It was a hot, sunny 97 degrees at 6pm. Yesterday was 102 so got a little break today. Speaking of which, remember when I offered all you snowbound gals my hospitality? Well now would be a good time to return the favor.
:-) You're hospitality is greatly appreciated most especially now because I have the heat on at my house. ;) I offer you a bed with several blankets on it and wooly slippers so you won't freeze on the way to the bathroom a shoulder shawl and a hot cup of tea.

What words are there for one who grieves? How many hugs will dry your tears? Will the love you gave to that beautiful friend be lost? Forgotten? Wasted? I think not Gator.. I think not.
Mr. Gator had a very charmed life. I think he was a real sparkone kinda guy. Who gets to live in that nice house in the Sunshine State with a servant who waited on him hand and feet??? You were his mother, his butler, his nurse, his best friend and you paid for his medical care for so long... not to mention the mortgage on his castle. :hat: He is home, and he is no longer suffering, not sick anymore..may your fun memories of him walk with you forever. He will always be with you. Still watching the house!
My heart goes with you.... :rose:

Thank you everyone for your condolences and words of comfort. It is so wonderful knowing that I have so many friends. When Gator died, the tech said he's with his friends now. I actaually laughed and said no, he's not. Gator was a bully and everyone was afraid of him. He loved me too much and was super protective. I read this a few years ago and saved it for when my time comes.
Weep Not
Do not weep for me
when I am gone
for I have friends
in the great beyond.
All the little ones
I used to feed
will come to me
in my time of need.
They will purr and bark
in great delight
and I willl hold
and hug them tight.
Oh, what a great day
that will be
when my furry friends
all welcome me.

Oh, Gator!!!
I'm so very sorry your sweet dog has passed away.
Nothing can replace the unconditional love of a pet, and if you had 20 pets, no two would be alike.
I'm sure he'll be waiting for you at Rainbow Bridge when your time here on Earth is through.
The Rainbow Bridge
-Inspired by a Norse Legend
By the edge of a woods, at the foot of a hill
Is a lush, green meadow where time stands still.
Where the friends of man and woman do run
When their time on Earth is over and done.
For here, between this world and the next,
Is a place where each beloved creature finds rest.
On this golden land, they waitand they play,
Till the Rainbow Bridge they cross over one day.
No more do they suffer in pain or in sadness,
For here they are whole, their lives filled with gladness.
Their limbs are restored, their health renewed,
Their bodies are healed, with strength imbued.
They romp through the grass, without even a care,
Until one day they start, and sniff the air.
All ears prick forward, eyes dart front and back,
Then all of a sudden, one breaks from the pack.
For just at that instant, their eyes have met;
Together again, both person and pet.
So they run to each other, these friends from long past,
The time of their parting is over at last.
The sadness they felt while they were apart,
Has turned to joy once more in each heart.
They embrace with a love that will last forever,
And then, side-by-side, they cross over...together.

If you ever love an animal,
There are three days in your life you will always remember.
The first is a day, blessed with happiness,
When you bring home your young new friend.
You may have spent weeks deciding on a breed.
You may have asked numerous opinions of many vets,
Or done long research in finding a breeder.
Or, perhaps in a fleeting moment,
You may have just chosen that silly looking mutt in a shelter
Simply because something in its eyes reached your heart.
But when you bring that chosen pet home,
And watch it explore, and claim its special place in your hall or front room
And when you feel it brush against you for the first time
It instills a feeling of pure love
You will carry with you through the many years to come.
The second day will occur eight or nine or ten years later.
It will be a day like any other.
Routine and unexceptional.
But, for a surprising instant,
You will look at your longtime friend
And see age where you once saw youth.
You will see slow deliberate steps
Where you once saw energy.
And you will see sleep where you once saw activity.
So you will begin to adjust your friend's diet
And you may add a pill or two to her food.
And you may feel a growing fear deep within yourself,
Which bodes of a coming emptiness.
And you will feel this uneasy feeling, on and off,
Until the third day finally arrives.
And on this day if your friend and God have not decided for you,
Then you will be faced with making a decision of your own
On behalf of your lifelong friend,
And with the guidance of your own deepest Spirit.
But whichever way your friend eventually leaves you
You will feel as alone as a single star
In the dark night sky.
If you are wise, you will let the tears flow
As freely and as often as they must.
And if you are typical,
You will find that not many in your circle
Of family or human friends
Will be able to understand your grief, or comfort you.
But if you are true to the love
Of the pet you cherished through the many joy-filled years,
You may find that a soul a bit smaller in size than your own
Seems to walk with you, at times, during the lonely days to come.
And at moments when you least expect
Anything out of the ordinary to happen,
You may feel something brush against your leg very, very lightly.
And looking down at the place
Where your dear, perhaps dearest, friend used to lie
You will remember those three significant days.
The memory will most likely be painful,
And leave an ache in your heart
As time passes the ache will come and go
As if it has a life of its own.
You will both reject it and embrace it,
And it may confuse you.
If you reject it, it will depress you.
If you embrace it, it will deepen you.
Either way, it will still be an ache.
But there will be, I assure you, a fourth day when
Along with the memory of your pet
And piercing through the heaviness in your heart
There will come a realization that belongs only to you.
It will be as unique and strong
As our relationship with each animal we have loved, and lost.
This realization takes the form of a Living Love
Like the heavenly scent of a rose
That remains after the petals have wilted,
This Love will remain and grow
And be there for us to remember.
It is a love we have earned.
It is the legacy our pets leave us when they go
And it is a gift we may keep with us as long as we live.
It is a Love which is ours alone
And until we ourselves leave,
Perhaps to join our Beloved Pets
It is a Love that we will always possess.

What a bunch of great people here! Ya know, there are many sites (as Grund said at the latest memorial for Caylee) many sites with those obsessed with this case. I suppose that is true, but this site, this board, is different. We are not obsessed, we care about a little girl. That we here are caring has been proven by the response to Gator's passing. Yeah, I'll say it; we care more about Gator than the A's seem to care about little Caylee. But the love we show for her is big enough to wrap around the world whether CA likes it or not. Bah fongool to her! Human compassion is a good thing. :rose:

That is the most beautiful thing I have ever read and it's so true. I am sobbing right now for Gator and if I weren't then it would mean that 13.5 years of loyalty and love didn't exist.
I know you understand since you still keep SamanthaJane's name as I will keep Gator's. Of course the second doubts are coming that maybe I could have pulled him out again but it would only have delayed the inevitable and given him days of pain. He left this world full of the way he lived it, with dignity and his Mommy by his side. Some may say he was just a dog but he was my reason for coming home from work, for waking up to feed him, and when I was tired or sad he always was by my side putting his toys in my hand.

You know, I just don't get George and Cindy. I have a hole in my heart right now that only time will heal. I cry every hour. I couldn't eat last night and almost forgot to take my meds. How in Heaven's name did they go out to eat the night that Caylee's bones were found? How can they forgive and stand by her murderer. If one of my brother's had killed Gator, they would have to lock me up to keep from beating him to a pulp or worse. I can tell you that I would never have set eyes on him again. How is it that I could love my dog more than they loved Caylee? I'm not crying into tissues, I have a roll of Bounty paper towels to absorb all my tears and Cindy goes on TV with the same "eyepoke" the Liar used to try to shed a tear.
