A former Monroe High School teacher was in court Monday after being arraigned in November on a charge of indecent exposure and having sex with a student. Kelly Ann Abdo, of Luna Pier, pleaded innocent to the count.
Monroe County Prosecutor William Nichols' office said Abdo is accused of having sex with the student in a car on a public street, next to a house where there was a high school party. Other students told the prosecutor's office that they saw the two naked in the car.
prosecutor's office also said Abdo is being investigated, but has not been charged, in another case involving inappropriate sexual relations with a 17-year-old student.
