Lawrency Kobilinksy's Conflicting statements

Look at this exchange between Nancy Grace and Dr Kobe. This is from Aug 1 show and as you can see he has significantly changed his tune since he joined the defense. I would think if he tries to discount that banding of the hair, he will have to see this on cross when the pros get their crack at him. And he can't say they twisted his words. I will try to find other conflicting statements he has made, and by all means add any of your own you notice from the transcripts as we go along. GRACE: In my mind, yes. Let`s go out to Lawrence Kobilinsky, forensic scientist, joining us out of New York. Koby (ph), if the fluid and the hair in the trunk of the car turn out to be Caylee, which I hope it is not -- if it does turn out to be a match to Caylee and there was a smell of a decomposed body -- Caylee`s missing, last seen with her mother -- what do you think about the possibility of a conviction on that alone?

LARRY KOBILINSKY, FORENSIC SCIENTIST: Well, I think that they should be able to get a conviction just based on that. We don`t need a body. And examining the hair -- there are sometimes telltale signs on hair as to whether the hair was post-mortem or not. There`s a band that forms nearby the roots. So they might be able to tell if this was a hair that came off post-mortem.

Now, obviously, when you put the smell of decomposition together with some biological substance, which could very well be fluids of decomposition, and hair -- we don`t know how many hairs, whether it was a clump, whether it was pulled, whether it fell out. There`s a lot that we don`t know. But putting that all together, it certainly sounds very suspicious, and I think a good prosecutor can make a case out of this, even without a body.

Yes it certainly seems that not just the Anthony's but Kobi's own words shall come back to haunt them. I cant figure out tho why the defense didn't pull the plug on him from appearing on N.G. I know , isn;t that just the dumbest thing to expose the expert in their case to saying things that may be used against him.? He can't even deny he said it. Sometimes when Nancy jumps his butt, he kind of blurts out stupid stuff like oh maybe she accidentally made chloroform or maybe the dogs hit on animal friends. If this is what the defense can look forward to, I predict big trouble.

tonight was interesting. NG just bashed him all over the place while he backpedaled. I have no idea why he is on her show and I am sure he has done something to his image that cannot be good. IMO sara

I cannot quote a link but I firmly remember him before he worked for the defense that the evidence in the trunk was enough to convict. :flamemad::flamemad:

I missed it at 8, so Im listening now.So sad about Jennifer Hudsons family. I swear,it does seem that people are getting crazy.Just terrible!!! My Father, a minister, has been saying that these terrible things happening is fullfilling the scriptures.And that people NEED to be turning to the Lord.

This guy IMO is a big wind bag, and will jump on any bandwagon just to get the recognition! NG has gotten on his ass big time, the other night there was a guy one who really knew his stuff, and he was disputing everything Koby said, he stated with total conviction, that the human decomp only came from TWO people and one of them was breathing, DNA does not lie!! It is too bad LE does not know who the real father of Caylee is, this broad was a total ho, if they knew for sure they could test his DNA against the decomp and then Koby would have to fade from the picture!!! I would not trust his judgment at a wet t-shirt contest, or in Casey's case a hot body contest!!!

He is getting paid and I am sure well by somebody so he is gonna run his spin for the defense, he is giving false hope to C&G by his words, human decomp, you can't mistake that for dead squirrels and surely not 13 day old pizza and he blathered on about how the hair sample did not mean anything because Caylee had been in the vehicle and hair can be transferred, and when asked by NG about the dark band indicating that the hair came from somebody who was deceased, he has some inane explanation for that, and then the chloroform, and he had some idiotic explanation for that, he is just an moron to me and I would never ever want him on my defense team because the DA is going to get somebody who does not double talk, who is a renowned forensic person like Dr. Michael Baden, who in my opinion is a genius and Koby is gonna look like a complete ass!

Believing in God doesn't make you a good person. Either you are in control of your emotions and desires or your not. Many atrocities committed by people have been people of God. Ironic, isn't it?:confused:

Everytime a person told me that they were a god fearing person I would ask them, " what have you done to make you fear God?" Don't misunderstand me. I believe in God. Its all these religions that cause so many problems.

When I was young I would go to church with my parents and I would see people I knew and wondered how they could be in the house of God knowing what I knew they did. It would just boggle my mind.:confused:

As soon as I left home at 19 have not set foot in a church, I'm 59 now. And I don't feel guilty in the least. I learned a long time ago that how you believe in the Almighty is not important. Its if you believe.

Until humanity learns that its not about me, we'll have to live in fear and sorrow. Sad but true.

ok what is it about this case and these people. everyone who gets involved, no matter how smart and well respected they may have been before, once they get involved in this situation they seem to all take a stupid pill or something.
