LOL doesn't offend me - I'd posted a pic of a faceless woman awhile back but don't remember where it is right off. I do think that poor dog deserves more respect than Casey's dreamnt up nanny does though.

[QUOTE=grneyes;9134461]*LOL* Your right OS2. ;)[/QUOTE Don't feel too sorry for the dog. LOL. He gets to eat chicken a few nights a week. A friend of mine took the photo, she is a professional photographer in Oklahoma and when I got Brody groomed and his fur all shaved off she said he looked like a reformed beatnik. LOL. So she took this picture.

I've told mine(RIP,about 3 months now)if he was worth a dam,he'd help me pick up the trash, sweep up HIS hair, pick up limbs in the yard. He just strutted his little stuff happily around and didnt lift a paw!
and fact is,no amount of money could have taken him,but a dam rattlesnake did.

Thats so sad Brain. I hope he did not suffer. We are done with animals. We had the dog 16 years and the cat 18 years. It was so hard when we lost them. Now that we are almost empty nesters with the last 2 away at school we like the freedom to come and go. If i need a dog fix i go visit my mother in laws. Kinda like having a grandchild-I spoil the dog then get to hand her back.:rose:

well,he was heavy drugged,Im hoping. I think it was the length of time it took me/us to get him to the Dr..Shots at about 10pm,then the VET said he gave him more about 1:30,then when he cam back in early,he had passed.I hope he went peacefully too and is as big and bad as he thought he was here, lol. He (a JR) sure did think he was as big and fierce as the neighbors(only a quarter their size) and tried unsuccessfully to prove it,back in the day,More than once. He had mellowed out,tho and suffered a sore hip,the same times I did, according to the weather and activities we did that day, lol.

Well, I am offended. That beautiful dog deserves more respect -- no wonder he is hiding behind those shades. Now, go and apologize to him.

and another thing, its obvious to me that most people, here and in real time, keep better tract of their dogs than this family did with their child.
I know I do. Of course, things happen, accidents,(even snake bites) BUT I KNOW,what, when or FIND OUT!!!

Sorry about your dog. Some people don't understand that when you lose a pet its like losing a member of the family-especially if you have had the pet for awhile.

I, myself, am a cat person. My mother and I adopted a cat, Sir Charles, in the summer of 2007. She has always wanted a cat but because her late husband, my stepfather was highly allergic to dogs and cats, we never had pets.

Sir Charles liked to be in the garage and we would crack the garage door so he could have fresh air. Well one night last month went out to bring him in but he couldn't be found anywhere. My mom, bro and me spent a good 15 minutes or better looking for him. The only thing we could think was that some way some how he had managed to squeeze under the garage door. Needless to say we all spent that night searching for him with no success. I was crying because I was thinking of all the things that could hurt or kill him out there. I sat in the garage from about 10 pm till he came sauntering in at around 4 am the next morning. I was mad at him for worrying us so but happy at the same time. Thank god mom and I paid the $75 to have a chip implant put in him. :o

While watching NG and the ongoing Anthony case I began to think about my reaction to Sir Charles missing and Casey Anthony's total lack of concern for her missing daughter. Sometimes it makes no sense.

By the way, have you gotten another dog? The pouind is still the best place to find a pet. Can even go on line to see what animals are up for adoption.

Absolutely since I do not have kids I thought about how I would react if my dogs were missing, would I be out boozing and partying and stealing and would I get a beautiful life tattoo.? I think not. Most of us who love our pets are devastated when they go missing. And so imagine with a child how that would be.
