you have no idea what I do or whom I speak with on a daily basis. as for the rest of it -- get over it. move forward. look to the future.
Occasionally, some things need to be reposted, imho, so that a proper understanding can be attained. So, in that vein,

Your are quite correct that I have no idea of whom you speak to on a daily basis. However, judging from the insensitivity that you display in your posts, as it pertains to Blacks and others, I would venture to say that you do not speak to Blacks on a daily basis to say other than hello boys and they or others that you have spoken to with the exception of Martin, WNC, Kate and me have not for a second questioned or spoke out about your insensitivity.
As for the rest of it when you say get over it and look forward it displays your insensitivity. I think we all move forward to the future as it would be counterproductive, imho, to move backward, which it seems your posts want us to return to days gone past. It is because we move forward that we look to the past so that we will not return to those days. After I had told you about the respect thing and calling the President Elect Mr., you claimed to be willing to support him but yet in the next post, which I noticed but ignored, you called him Mr. Stevie Wonder can see your posts for what they are. You may be moving into the future but your heart yearns for those days of yesteryear, imho.

OK, I said I wasn't going to post here anymore because of all of the hate filled posts. But, I have to respond to this subject. First of all I call my son and his friends boys all of the time. They are by the way white and black. None of them have ever taken offense at what I have said because down here it is just used to call guys sometimes. Now before anyone jumps down my throat please remember I have an adopted son who happens to be black. Just as most men down here say girls not women. I have been very saddened by the way this forum has gone down hill.
There isn''t any debate anymore only insults and so much so that O2S has even came in and warned all to watch what they say or it will be closed. Martin you and William have made it plain that you believe OJ is innocent of any of the charges that have been carried through on him. That is fine but can't you put your words in a more respectful way. Most here believe OJ got away with murder and no amount of dragging in pages and pages of dna and what it could or could not mean wont change their opinions. Nor will the great conspiracy theory float. It is what it is and whether we agree or not it could be done in a much nicer way than I have read so far.
No I am not in anyway the forum police, but what I am is a poster who sees so much hatred of certain posters in such a degrading way that I have removed myself from it even though I would love to participate. A party thread was started but somehow it has been left behind because of all of the fighting. I was so in hopes that we all could debate the subject without losing our own dignity at the same time. Yes I believe OJ got away with murder, but I don't try to insult anyone else who may still choose to believe he is innocent.
I would hate to see a whole other forum closed because we can't act like adults and specify why we all feel the way that we do. Yes some hurtful things have been said but to keep holding grudges accomplishes nothing. I think all here or at least most believe in God or at least some higher power. That being said it saddens me to no end to see all of the hate that is shown in these posts. Not only from you and William but others also. I'm sure which ever religion that anyone follows here would not agree with what is being said.
I'm sorry for butting in but I would just hate to see Deepwater close and delete this forum because no one would abide by the rules. So please forgive my interruption and feel free to put me on ignore if you choose. I just couldn't sit back and not say anything at all. Everything that has to do with OJ Simpson is not about race nor is it about a conspiracy. This is all just my own humble opinion. Suz
thanks for the reality check Suz. You are right of course. Goodby everyone. tv, you know where and/or how to find me. :seeya:

I for one see no need to have this forum closed as we are all adults. Perhaps, I have taken your post wrong, as I see that you have named Martin and me specifically as posting hurtful and hateful posts but did not name anyone else, although you admit there are others. I do not know how long you have been watching these posts but, if you have from the time that I joined, you will see that the racially offensive posts were made before I joined and they were made in regard to the criminal jury and other posters.
I joined not, because I believe Simpson was innocent or guilty of murder. I joined, because I believe there was reasonable doubt. I tried to make my opinion known and was met with the same type of insulting posts as those who believed that Simpson was not guilty. When I have posted the reasons to support my position that there was reasonable doubt, I have been told by three different posters that they have no respect for me. When I took offense at that statement and said that every human being is deserving of respect and respect is not earned but could be lost, imho, that was met with insults scorn and disdain. I have been accused of being sarcastic and angry and apologized, which I was told was not taken sincerely. I have asked to raise the level of posting. That went ignored. I asked for assistance in raising the level and was told that it began with me. I attempted only to be insulted time and time again and told the board that it is a poor dog that won't wag its own tail.
No one jumps on someone for stating their opinion, except for a few here and the most recent example is the reaction to the post by RayStar. Perhaps, you do not know that they tried to turn one poster against me but she was wise enough to realize that I was civil to her and we have for the most part disagreed civilly. Sometimes our discussions became somewhat heated and most of those time it was due to a misunderstanding. We have thus far been able to work thorough it without the help of outside forces. Sometimes outside forces that keep warning of a thread closing, may place ideas in the heads of others that weren't previously there. We have a long history of spats and civil posts on these threads and have thus far been able to work through them. Yes a party thread was started and the post on there have been civil but for some reason our Warden chose to leave that thread.
I do no claim that everything that had to do with Simpson is about race but to ignore that race played a part and a perception in the trial is not quite honest. This board is not limited to the customs or mores of the south but I believe there are posters from different countries. I do not claim to understand the customs of those countries and, if a poster told me that the word and the way I used it was offensive and took time to explain why, I would show enough respect not to use the word in that manner again, unless it was to bait or inadvertence for which I would apologize. I do not see the need to close the thread as much worse things have been posted than what are being currently posted but I do recognize the need for change and appreciate your bringing it to our attention and wished you would have spoken out, when I first asked to raise the level, if you were watching at that time. However, be that as it may be, I don't think it is right for you to mention only Martin and me specifically and not mention others by name. I am not saying that you did that intentionally, only that it leaves an appearance that he and I are the blame. I think that, if you take an honest look at the posts, you will see that Martin and I were for the most part wagging our tails. Yes, some things make me more angry than others and it takes longer for me to forgive and forget those things, which is a part of my human flaws, which I readily admit, but I stay within the rules when that anger comes through. Since I know that others are watching and are posting, whether intentionally or not mentioning Martin and me, I think we will both exercise the proper amount of caution as we would not want to be blamed for having the forum closed but then who would know.
In regard to the party thread, it might be interesting to see who of the regular posters has not posted there and ask why not.

Martin you and William have made it plain that you believe OJ is innocent of any of the charges that have been carried through on him. That is fine but can't you put your words in a more respectful way.
I wish you would have publicly spoken out when posters were calling Martin and me names, making posts with racial connotations and saying they had no respect for me or showing no respect for a poster, who left the community, after vile and reprehensible posts were made about her avatar, her deceased daughter. Perhaps, if you had the grudges, as you call them, would not have been as hurtful, and your words would appear to have a more even keel to them. I know that weezer and JB are your friends but sometimes friends can be wrong. I thought you and I were friends, which is why I could not understand that you took my post as sarcastic and angry and then took my public apology as insincere.

Weezer, if you feel you have to leave because of William and Martin then I'm sorry. You have as much right to your opinion as anyone. They don't appreciate or recognise that others can have opinions that don't agree with theirs.
They also don't speak for everyone else.
DW, it's time the Simpson threads were closed down. I've pmed you about this and I hope you take my thoughts on board. Anyone else who thinks that these threads are out of control because of William and Martin, please contact DW and add your voices.
Thanks for proving my suspicions correct. I thought you were behind this recent effort. You were the one that made the racially offensive remark after the rest of us had found some degree of cordiality and started the decline. Your friend weezer ran some one from the community after she expressed an opinion that disagreed with weezer's and you did not ask that the forum be closed down at that time. You have never added anything of substance to this forum, imho, and were only here to bait and inflame. The board is not out of control, despite your efforts to make it so. Say it ain't so, Joe.

William I have not been here since the beginning of this forum. I also thought you and I were friends. But whenever I tried to state an opinion or how LE isn't the same in all states I was, for the lack of a better word 'talked down to" with each of you explaining how I could not possibly be right. JB,,FBG, TV nor anyone else invited me here nor have they publicly nor privately asked me to say anything. The OJ Simpson case wasn't about race it was about a brutal murder. I don't care if he was orange with purple stripes. It was a brutal murder. As adults we should all be allowed our own opinions and not resort to the name calling. I don't care who you are, I have seen it for myself and when I read what O2S said it really was a warning and to my knowledge no one except O2S was involved in that warning.
I can be friends with someone I disagree with. I have no problem with that. As long as they are being sincere. Just like your post above where you stated the party thread went cold because the warden chose to not return. You are correct, I did choose not to return. When I first started posting I really thought things could be changed here and that everyone would try their best. Unfortunately that didn't last long. I have enough going on in my life now without all of the hatred I see each day here. I'm not trying to get this board closed. I was trying to do the exact opposite, believe it or not. I have heard the word racist used here more than on any other board at CL. again OJ and all of his troubles are not about race. It is simply about a man who chose to do the wrong things in his life and yes people are tired of him getting away with it. Feelings about him are strong but it has nothing to do with the color of his skin, it has to do with the crime/s he has chosen to participate in. Bringing in the race card each time on almost every post just simply invalidates the damage he causes to people. That is my opinion and I am posting it for everyone to see.
An insult no matter how sweetly or how angrily said is still an insult. It makes one simply choose to go elsewhere when they have had enough. I don't know what Deepwater will do. It isn't my decision. It is hers and hers alone. We have all been warned over and over again and whatever she chooses or doesn't choose to do is up to her.
One last thing before I finish, and please feel free to put me on ignore that goes to anyone who may find my post uncomfortable. Race in this country is blamed for many things. You yourself said there isn't any such thing as reverse discrimination. There is William and it isn't called equality. When you hire someone based on the color of their skin or the nationality or because it is a woman, that doesn't even qualify for that job, that is reverse discrimination. We are only as strong as we choose to be. We all [at least most] have a chance to better ourselves and become whatever we want. It is up to us to either step up and be counted or sit by and wait for the Government to take care of us. I'm talking of all colors here also of all nationalities. In our hearts we should always strive to be our verybest.
I don't believe that everything that happens here in the States happens because of racism. It works both ways, there is racism in every single race and nationality here. It doesn't mean that all of a particular race are racists, nor does it mean that one race is somehow over the others. But constantly calling every action racism isn't the answer. I would pray that one day things would be so much better that race is never mentioned because we all bleed red. We all came from the same father in heaven. So at the end of my looong speech I will say that I truly pray everyone here has a very blessed Christmas and a safe and happy holiday season:rose:.~Suz

When women and others find themselves locked out of the economy because of past discrimination in the job market, what solution would you offer to correct this inequality.Leave it as it has been or be creative and try to institute a program to give those previously disadvanted a chance to 'CATCH UP' If a certain groupe has had a racial advantage over other that did not reap the benefits of this advantage what do we do.
The civil rights bill, when passed allowed women and others to enter the work place in mass that they had previously been left out of. You find fault with that? Traditionally women and others had been left of the business with large corporations and government contracts. Do you call it reverse discrimination when programs are developed to give them a chance to particpiate.
I think you may want to rethink your position on this issue.

You calling your young sons boy is not the same as someone calling a adult black man buy.Ask around and you may understand the differance.
You have named William and Martin as posters that need to use less offensive words in their post.
1. When WNC and Kate shared their personal family experience with the community, did you comment when Weezer in a attempt to attack them posted that insensitive vile post here?
WNC was so offended that she left the forum.Did you speak on that?
2. Two days ago Weezer in her anger told me to 'KISS HER GRITS" did you comment on that?
It seems that you may be being selective when you place blame.
You may want to rethink your position on that issue.
Thanks

It seems to me that you have had a minimum of two agendas since your arrival here.
1. To post mean and hateful comments in your efforts to divide posters.
2. To get this forum closed.
There are other threads you can post on if this one causes you so much anger and distress.
I see no reason for this forum to be closed and believe FW is smart enough to know that.

First let me return your wish for a safe and happy Christmas to all. I have only been here for 2 years and in that short time I noticed what I noticed. I never talked down to you and simply stated that people want and expect LE to investigate report of crimes. I understood what LE told you but my point is that they took and oath to serve and protect, which includes crime investigation. It is always interesting to me that people claim the murder case was not about race but then say the race card was played by JC during the trial and the jury was racially biased. In case you have not seen those posts they have been numerous. I am not saying that you did but those that have can't have it both ways. That is why I was met with the insults, name calling and disrespect, because I said that JC did not play the race card but he exposed racism through MF and the possible conduct of LE and that there was reasonable, so that the jury could rightly reach that verdict.
I never said that the party thread went cold because the Warden decided not to return. I am glad to hear you say it was your choice to leave. You seem to think that Martin and I are the only ones or, allow me to say that clearly, the only ones you mention as to name calling. I would ask you to review the last series of posts on Ms. Deutsch and find where I called a person one name. Perhaps, you have not read my posts where I said Simpson should pay the civil damage award or that what he did was stupid and criminal under Nevada law. I will reiterate something that I have said before. I have not seen as much hard feelings posted about anyone who got away with murder as I have seen here. I am glad you are able to go on with your life, despite the hatred you see here everyday. I don't know where you are seeing it, because it does not come from me.
I stand by what I said about reverse discrimination and I ask you to look at the words with an open mind. They imply that some sort of discrimination is expected and there is something unseemly only when it is done in reverse. I don't know if you fully understand that discrimination, inequality and segregation has long lasting effects, which is what the Government realized and took necessary steps to even the playing field. Until such time as that playing field is evened, then there is no such thing as reverse discrimination. The recent election was a giant leap in the right direction but it is not the end-all for those who have felt the effects of that discrimination. No one is waiting for the Government to take care of them, imho, since they have learned that is not likely to happen, with the exception of the financial institutions and the big 3 auto makers and whatever other entities want their slice of the pie that they have heretofore eaten. Many Blacks struggled all their lives as did their ancestors to be all that the could be, only to see that the pie was foreclosed to them. Compare 300 years to 40 and tell me if you think that has evened the playing field? Did you ever think about the vast number of Blacks that were deprived an education and jobs, because of the color of their skin and what effect it had on their children? Perhaps, if you did, you might understand why I say there is no such thing as reverse equality and it is evening the playing field or equality, if you will. Whites have the privilege to suffer just as Blacks did. That is not hatred but facts and equality. Should every one be judged by the content of his character and not the color of his skin? Does suffering enable some to understand the suffering that Blacks endured? Is it just? Is it necessary?
Yes, it is up to DP to make the decision but complaining about something that may or may not be true is simply adding gas to a smoldering fire, imho. One is lobbying and trying to gains support to close the thread and wants to blame Martin and me for all that is going on. I did not see you correct that poster on that statement, unless you agree with it.
Not everything that is said is an insult no matter how angrily or sweetly stated. Some are just offerings to have a person look without themselves while looking in. Some are said to make another think and ask questions as opposed to accepting as fact all that they hear. I see no need for this forum to be closed but I do see a need to raise the level of posting and I am asking your assistance and the assistance of all posters in that effort. Thanks and May God bless you.

This is the type of posts that need not be posted, imho. Perhaps, this poster would be well served to follow his own advice, "Go away. No-one's interested in you any more. Bye now."

when I read what O2S said it really was a warning and to my knowledge no one except O2S was involved in that warning.
Yes, you're correct susie - no one else was involved in my decision to make the post I made. I was just sharing what I've observed happen in other discussion forums. Maybe a Holiday Break is in order?

I had to snip a portion of your post so that I could respond before, I want you to know that I am not being offensive but I am offering you a different perspective. Because we all come from the same Heavenly Father, does not meant that we treat each other with respect and equality. The Bible is a book of love and understanding, but we, as humans, have not reached that love and wisdom that surpasses all understanding. I am working toward that goal but do not know if I will ever attain it. :)

If I was not clear, I did not mean to imply that anyone else was involved in your post. I just saw it as an opportunity for those, with little of substance to add to this particular forum, and that does not mean Susie, to take advantage of an opportunity and I was not disappointed. It seems that there is one lobbying to get the forum closed, rather than desiring to change the manner of his posts. I think that speaks volumes. I think DW will be wise enough to consider that before taking drastic action.

Unresolved issues for me
1. If Beadsley is in a CA jail why is it that the CA corrections transport person did not transport him to and from the CA jail to the Vegas trial.
What caused a Vegas special investigator to get this task?
2. How did this vegas special investigator get to testify in the CA supreme court issue if there is no criminal charge against anyone as yet. Did the CA judge call Vegas and order the vegas Investigator to appear in his court to answer questions?
3. What special interest does Vegas le have for sending this investigator
to CA to testify?

Marin I think you have misunderstood my post. I am a woman and have seen the discrimination thats out there. What I'm saying is that I agree with the programs that are out there to help anyone who wants to better themselves but, giving someone a job because of the color of their skin or because they are a woman or because of their nationality is wrong. If they are qualified then yes they deserve the job, on the other hand if they aren't qualified they do not deserve the job. Yes there are/ have been cases such as this and that is what I meant. I agree that there is a huge disadvantage in this country but, I also believe that we must all work for what we want. I have seen it first hand, and it makes me angry. I wish I had all of the answers but I don't. What I do have is a strong sense that we all should work together instead of one pulling this way and one the other. Nothing gets accomplished by that. I hope I have explained myself so you understand exactly what I'm saying.

Great idea
Everyone can take a long breath and post ONLY DIRECT FACTS of the thread.
Not so many opinions until after xmas.
Some time ago this forum was closed and we all had to get on bended knees and do some major begging to get it reopened.
So lets take a few chill pills and stop pointing blame.

Thanks

Martin, I will admit and I have said not only you and William but others have used insensitive words in your posts. It would probably take all day to name everyone. But, in the last few posts I have noticed the anger and hatred and that is why you both were named. I am blaming everyone who has used offensive language. But sometimes what is taken for an insult is simply not and insult. It is just a post. Sometimes it is meant as insult, yet I truly thought things could be changed to reflect on this case and it's merits not on another posters looks, life, etc. again I'm not the forum police and I have no say in what happens here or on any other forum. I Just wish there could be more discussion of the case instead of holding grudges and posting mean spirited posts. Let me try to be more clear.
For a long time white males dominated the corporate and civil work place. Blocking women and miniroties access.Preventing them from entering the ecomony of the country.
During this period rank discrimination against these groupe was the norm. The ones in power white males, received and used their advantage to develop wealth and more power.
They did not see this reverse discrimination by them against these groups. they saw their actions as their right to control other and build wealth and power for themselves.
example
If a large company had 10,000 employees and 1% were women and others,
what do we do. Ignore current discrimination in hiring.
Or do we tell the white guys in power, we have discriminated against women for 100 years and we must find a way to even the breakdown of workers, so we are going to hire 5 qualified women and others to every 1 white person.
Sorry but your group has had a advantage for 100 years and we need to even the playing field.
The problem is that some white males that have had a advantage scream reverse discrinmination which they did not scream when they had the advantage over women and others.
I think more reading on this issue may help some have a beter understanding
of what is at stake.

I see that you do not want to share in the holiday break. You were one of the ones that said they had no respect for me. You were the one that bothered me the least, as I thought that you were simply misguided. I am now convinced. In my sociology class we had a young Black man say that his White friends told racial jokes about Blacks to him. The class became upset and asked him what he did. He said nothing. They then asked why they chose him. He said because they trusted him. Believe it or not, I had stayed out of the conversation until that remark. I then raised my hand and the teacher told the class to quiet down. I told the class to listen to what he said and said to him that I was glad they trusted him. He took his stance to accept that and they continued to tell him jokes. Perhaps, if he took the stance that those type of jokes were not acceptable, they would not have continued. Another White student had previously stated that after the election he got several racial texts from his friends and the class asked what he had done. He said nothing. Once offensive things are being said, they will likely continue until you make known they are offensive. Unfortunately, they continued after they were made known on this board. IIRC, you defended the boy remarks stating it was a southern thing, after we took a stance that it was offensive to adult Black males. Perhaps, if you would have said you understood and suggested that it not be used again, you could have stopped the insults. The appalling silence of the good people and the devastating effect of those who allow the insults to continue, I don't know which is worse for change.

Your sociology class has no bearing on this forum.
Additionally - perhaps had you taken the stance that not every single comment from a white person to you is racially charged - this wouldn't have gone off the deep end like it has.
I don't understand why, in today's time, you choose to have a common everyday word be offensive even after it's been explained to you that it's a Southern saying. Instead - you went on the attack as did others back and forth and back and forth.
There are a lot of things you say that "offend" me, but I don't hijack the thread with it. Most of the time, I don't even see the posts because I have you and your friend on ignore. That's worked well until now.
So many "good" people have left this forum because of this crap.
No one can make you change your mind and I'm not asking you to do so. What I am suggesting that how about your open your mind a bit and just, a little bit, realize that not every comment from a white person to a black person is meant to be racially charged?
It is 2008 ... almost 2009, after all.

What we learn everyday can be applied to various situations and I used my sociology class as an example. Please, you chose your spots to go back and forth and forth and back. I have taken that stance that not every statement from a White person is racially charged, which is why I am able to have civil conversations with so many. There seem to be a select few that do not want that to continue. Tvdinner and I were able to reach an agreement and she had the sensitivity to agree not to mention the term boy.
I am at all times receptive to opening my mind and I would like to extend to you that offer. Please, allow Blacks to find some things offensive and to explain why. If they were truly not meant offensively, then they would not be used again or an apology offered. I do believe that you are native American and, if I said something that was offensive to you and you explained why, I would not use it again, or, if I did I would apologize. Yes, it is nearly 2009, and it is time for understanding, respect and tolerance. I will open my mind and heart to all those who open their mind to those concepts. At least you had the decency to mention others who you feel have engaged in the insults. One thing that I think bears repeating is that we had reached a level of cordiality until JB made his arrival and things went downhill soon thereafter. There are a lot of good people here and I have been able to communicate with them. I think it is worthy to note that Kate has stated she took a lot of flack for defending me. I think she would not have defended me, If she thought I was to blame. They wanted to say that I defamed someone, because I had the wrong Peterson. I think that a lot of good people realize what is truly going on but do not have Kate's courage. Yes, even the courage to tell me when she thinks I am wrong. What she has yet to do is to state it in a manner that we have not thus far been able to make amends. I think that is the true sign of maturity and not wanting to take the ball and go home. Thanks for listening.

This will be my last post on this topic.
You make my point by making an attack on JB that is superfluous.
When you have been told you are offensive - you have not chosen to not make the same comments over and over again. One specific example, I am referring to the asinine comments repeatedly regarding the avatar that belongs to Weezer.
When you have been told you are offensive with other comments you have chosen to not change your behavior but to, at times, escalate them the frequency of those posts in an effort to get more "digs" in.
I'm not excusing anyone else's behavior. Yes, I have said I have no respect for you. And I do recall stating the reason why. You have shown me absolutely no respect since I joined this forum. Respect is a two way street. While I am a Southerner and believe my elders deserve respect, generally speaking, this was an exception due to the utter hostility that has been thrown at me by you and your friend since I came to this board.
I've been absent from this place for 3+ weeks because I tired of the BS and the nonsense and the hijacking of the threads. I tired of the disrespectful posts that I believe you and others and gone on and on with -- day in, day out.
I understand that you think my everyday vernacular can be construed as offensive. However, I am not, in my ripe age, interested in modifying my everyday vernacular for one person's far-reaching attempt to find something I say offensive. I think that's silly.
If you wish others to change how the speak and react to you - you must first be willing to change how you speak and react to those individuals. You've not yet done that.
peace out - word to your Mother.

When women decided it was offensive to be addressed as Gal or Sweetie,
BINGO corporate and MOST americans outlawed those words as offensive and they have effectively been banned.
Same is true when calling Adult black men boy. Most americans agreed it was offensive and banned its use. Even in most Southern places.

You've not yet done that.
peace out - word to your Mother.
see some of y'all at the "other" place.

I made no attack on JB. I just stated the facts. I don't know if your were still posting regularly at that time or had you decided that, because we had different views on race you had no respect for me.
I totally agree with this part of your post, "When you have been told you are offensive - you have not chosen to not make the same comments over and over again." You then went on to say that I was told that my posts mentioning toes was offensive. I ask you to support that claim. I do remember posts stating that I seemed obsessed with those toes.
Your everyday vernacular may be accepted in your neck of the woods. However, as a word to the wise, if you ever are in mine, please do not speak to a Black man with that language or mention his mother. I will not respond as I could and only state that your mentioning of my mother in this posts I will chalk up to your misguided values/customs/mores.
Why should I be first when others continue to insult me? May all those who journey to the other place find more happiness than you did at the other place. I thought as a Southerner you thought respect had to be earned. You mentioned age, which to me only means that I have lived longer than you; you may not live to attain my age; I have learned how to treat people as no one has harmed me in these years; I have had the opportunity to make more mistakes than you have and to learn from those mistakes. I sincerely hope that you live long enough to attain my age, learn how to treat people and no one harms you for those mistakes and that you learn from your mistakes.

WHY have you mentioned Williams mother in your post. What the hell is that about. I was born and raised in the deep south and those are fighting words.:flamemad:
I am pleased to know you plan to meet at another place and not here.

I think we now understand the whole scheme, insult, accuse us of causing others not to post, move to another board and get this one shut down. I guess some are not as good at being sneaky as others. :)

It is quite alright, Martin. My mother was lady enough to raise me to understand that, if I have a problem with a person, I have a problem with that person and not other members of their family. I regret that another did not have the benefit of being raised by a lady of my mother's character.

Ok if you say so but that comment comming from a poster that complains about harsh post, indicates how low one will go in attacking another simply because she BELIEVES she is right.

I personally know three women, the finest that have ever posted in this forum that left simply because of the mean spirited post of the one that announced she is leaving.

I think that we can both feel proud that a lawyer, who is close to the case, has specifically stated that he enjoyed our posts.
