Good Morning Ladies and Gentlemen of CL!! I've noticed that the lounge seems to be awfuly quiet these days so I thought I would try to revive our old habit of saying good Morning and chatting with each other..:).I know we have the sit down thread but no one seems to be going there so maybe a new thread will bring life back into our CL lives.

Yes I know it is early, Yes I know it is Friday and finally yes I am bored;). But please indulge one of your favorite mentally chalenged posters:)..This thread is one I would like to see everyone post anything they would like to on. Whether it be just a "good morning" or a "shut the heck up Suz", LOL. Or anything else you would like the other posters to know....It will only take a couple of minutes to let all of us know how everyone is doing, and at the same time what may be going on in anyones lives they may wish to share...:hat:

I personally would like all to know that my coffee is cold and I have to go and retrieve more, hehehe;). Love to you all and please let us hear from yall...otherwise i am gonna look like what I am an almost certifiable quack, hehehehe:beer:

Did I hear coffee :) Morning Susie and anyone else who is silly enough to be out of bed! It's Friday my favorite day! Not because I only work half-a-day, but because I have the honor of visiting with Eddy, a dear man who was a Queens Guard back in London. At 90, Eddy is as dapper and charming as they get! That's it for me today :seeya:

 Good Friday Morning CB. Eddy seems like he would be a pleasure to be around. I love visiting with the elderly as they have so much to tell us. I have seen how they are kinda ignored by some youngsters and I think how much information those like Eddy can give us about the "olden" times, LOL..Please tell Eddy hi from the crazy lady on your message board, hehehe:D. Have a great day dear and hope to talk to you soon..Love you~Suz

i work at a nursing home, so i get to socialize with elderly people all the time. It is one of my favorite things to do.
just this week, we had to take pictures of some for these halloween cards that went to their 2nd grade pen pals. this one lady remarked that putting her picture in it would really give the boy a good halloween scare . lol
and its always so cute how they ladies always ask how their hair is before you take their picture:D

Oh, I would love to work at a nursing home. There is so much to be learned from the older folks and they [for the most part] have such a sense of humor, LOL...Thank you for posting on the thread delaineyrae:rose:. I have enjoyed your posts elsewhere and since you and CB have posted here I don't feel like a total doofus, hehehe.....Hope you have a great weekend:seeya:~Suz

I had chicken pox as a child and that's supposed to be it, right? Once you've had it you never get it again.

WRONG! 6 years ago down I went with it. Big time. Believe me, having it as an adult is not fun. I was sick for weeks. My big concern was that I would come down with shingles but thankfully for me I didn't.

Yea JB, they told me you could only get them once well guess what..Miss Brandy{above poster, who by the way is mean to her mommy, hehehehe} and her brother got them 4 freakin times...Which meant Me and the Calamine lotion became friends on a first name basis:D, LOL...I'm sorry you had to go throught them as an adult. I have heard they are much harder on adults than kids. Although the last time my son got them they were literally on the inside of his eyes and down his throat.~Suz

Brandy, give my little Hannah a hug and kiss from Grammy and tell her I miss her...Yep it does seem like a small percentage of childen come down with the disease after taking the shot, Yet when it's your child who is in the small percentage it really makes you angry:mad:. Love you Baby girl~Mommy

Also Sugarbear, I never Hijacked your idea. This is one of my own~~~Yes once in a while a Fluke like that happens:tongue: and mommy gets an idea all on her own, imagine that:D:D

As for the cat, he's been released on bail but if his fine isn't paid in full by Thursday they may lock him back up. (With the cost of his meds and special food he has to have from now on I might just let them do it too!)

Arkansas and Missouris can come to Michigan and Phildelphia for a week. well? did I miss anything? okay Georgia you can come north and I will find someone I am sure to go south...............IMO sara

Sara, I don't have to be sick to need meds.

Suse, you didn't say whether you had experience at breaking out of locked places, just breaking into them. ;)

Miss Kitty, I'm glad that Hannibal is back on all fours. If vet bills in Canada are as expensive as they are here, you'll probably have to get onto 1st name basis with your bank manager.

:DNow JB, why would you think I might have experience in breaking out of locked places,hehehe..No just in breaking in them, LOL..So if anyone ever needs a hand just let me know:D:D

Sara sweetie I will gladly trade places with you for a couple of weeks just remember there are a couple hundred head of cows that have to be fed everyday, About 15 chickens that have to be fed and the eggs gathered, Somewhere around 20 farm kitties that have to be fed twice a day. 1 house dog that has to be taken out and fed dailey, 1 outside dog Jack Russel that must be taken care of daily, About 15 kitties of the corn that have to be fed, one very tempermental 13 year old kittie who must be fed and put in his own house every night.:D..I think thats all I can think of right now. Now when would yall like to come? is Tuesday good enough for you? hehehehe:tongue:

LOL,Well JB, I'm not sure if the flies follow the cows or the cos follow the flies..We have 2 main Bulls one is solid red the other is solid black..Between them they service the heiffers and cows that we do have. None have horns and never line up for anything..LOL..They are just big babies who will follow you around for a treat..Most are blac w/white faces or red w/white faces although we do have a few of what we call polecat cows, hehehe...They are black excpt for a white streak that runs staight down their backs...My granddaughters love to ride around and through them with their Poppy on the 4 wheeler..They are less scared of them than their mama and grammy are, LOL

Now. tell Jack I said hey and give him a hug from his auntie Suz..Also tell him I said to make sure you rest and take it easy, or Dr. Suz will have to come to Australia and do some major butt kickin, LOL... Loves ya~Suse

Are you in GA too? I used to live there a billion years ago and I loved the warm winter. :D Also lived in Fla and Alabama for awhile. It did snow in Alabama when I was there.

I spent most of my life in Indiana and Ky and loved snow then but up here we don't see the ground usually from Oct to May and that gets depressing. Shoveling snow almost every day is no fun either.

LOL when you first wrote that I acually thought you meant the honeybear. Did you have that for honey when you are a kid. plastic container shaped like a bear filled with honey?

You can still get the bear filled with honey here. To this day I still like my toast with peanut butter and honey. mmmmmmmmmmmmmm

I found some of the original files so I can send those to you. Do you know how to open a zip file? If not, I can send them one at a time but they are fairly big.

Sometimes my PC will let me open files and sometimes they wont, LOL..So if you will send them zip first I will try Loves ya~Sis

I do not know anyone who does it. I put it on apples or biscuits
my brother puts it on peanut butter and toast. I could go on........
It is also used instead of sugar for tea and coffee and for hot toddy's when you have a cold. what are we going to do with your mother?

Or NKA I am thinking we should be discreet about this. maybe find something we can make that has honey in it but would be hard to distinguishe of course and send them to susie. LOL then tell her after she eats them..........LOL:biggrin::biggrin::biggrin:

Up until a year or so ago, I hated the taste of honey (except in candy) but now I've kind of gotten used to it and don't mind it so much.

We used to go to a certain restaurant years ago and they had these little containers of honey butter. Everyone loved it but I just never could stand the taste of it..My kids all love honey mustard, regular honey, etc. I tried it and it just has kind of an aftertaste that I just can't stand:o...If I want something like that I would much prefer my cane syrup on a warm biscuit:biggrin::biggrin:...Some people think its too strong but it's what I grew up on:biggrin::biggrin:
