CSI Episodes Turned Into Movies

Ok, so has anyone seen the CSI episode “Burked”? Easily one of my favorites…I saw the last few seconds of an ad on tv the other day for a movie that was the exact same plot line as this episode. I'm assuming its based on a true story otherwise its just completely ripping off CSI. Anyone know?

Since drug paraphernalia is discovered near his body and it is also determined that he had recently inhaled heroin, the cause of death is at first thought to be an overdose. But further examination of the corpse reveals that Braun had been restrained at some point with duct tape, leading Grissom to believe that the victim was forced to ingest lethal amounts of heroin and, perhaps, other drugs."

I just checked wikipedia because I thought I recognized that episode, it's based on a true story... I read something about a possible movie, never realized that they had actually done it. It's based on this guy Ted Binion from Vegas
