I watched this film the other night and one of the extras on the dvd's is the actual crime scene footage- it was brutal and horrific.
No one has ever been charged with the murders so i believe and i wondered ( there i go again with my wondering) what you all thought about the case, do you think that John was made to participate like many people think he did or did he just let the killers in ??
Would love to hear all your thoughts about it .

Interesting topic. Was he a murderer? Well the jury didn't think so but don't know enough about the actual trial to say whether or not it was a poor prosecution job. He wrote that he was with friends? I think but his wife at the time said he showed up a few hours after the murders covered in blood and pretty worked up. Now that in itself doesn't mean he actually killed anyone or indeed was at Wonderland. But given his involvement in the drug scene and his part in the raid that lead to the Wonderland retaliation, I'd still bet that he was there. Whether he killed or not I don't know.
I've tried to find new info on the net but all you can find really is stuff about the film, and films made about true crimes are rarely accurate. I think that he had something to do with it somewhere along the line but where i dont know. I read in a book called Hollywood Death Scenes , that the police are still hoping to tie Eddie Nash to the crimes even after all these years

The movie Boogie Nights is more of a fictionalized story on the life and times of John Holmes and the porn industry. Burt Reynolds, Mark Wahlberg, Julianne Moore & a lot of other good actors are in it.

Jules I think John was a wimpy drug addict. And let them in. IMO

Since John participated in the robbery of that drug dealer guy ( I am too lazy to look up his name lmao ), I think his men would have involved John in the killings to persuade him from ratting to the cops.
Hey Jules,
I bought Wonderland at the $5.00 bin at Wal-Mart a couple of years back and noticed it had a second disc in it. I popped it in and it was a documentary about John Homes called Wadd or something like that.
Have you ever watched it? Does it discuss the case on it?
