DM= Dungeon Master-the person who narrates and controls aspects the players don't. Unfortunately, there's quite a few folks out there who don't like roleplayers of any kind and they pop up everywhere.

Roleplay is just acting, no different that if you were given a part on a TV show or in a movie. Except you create a persona and breathe life into him or her instead of taking a character from some writer.

Questions about D&D I'll be happy to answer. Don't worry, we won't be doing D&D here. :D

The larger cities get more into it but this is a very small mostly catholic farm community.

One lady (who is one of the few baptist) told me I was going to hell because one year I was dressed up in my full witchy wear and spooky makeup. I told her that I was going to have one hell of a good time on my way there. *LOL*

As some of you know, I'm a roleplayer. :D Unfortunately,I lost my Dungeons & Dragons group when I moved states. My Brother got me into the whole thing and I'll be eternally grateful to him for that. I've discovered how powerful imagination can be. Thanks also to Gary Gygax, creator of D&D, R.I.P Sir. While no game can replace D&D, I've found a couple that take me back to those days in many instances. Star Wars Galaxies and Vanguard: Saga of Heros. These are online roleplaying games. Vanguard is similar to D&D, and we all know Star Wars. :D I hate WoW, for the record. I believe it's evil. :roll:

A typical session on Star Wars starts with me checking mail and friend's list to see who's on. If friends want to group for a quest or need help I may do that. If I want to roleplay, I'll go to Mos Eisley, a city where new players start and where many roleplayers hang. If I'm feeling aggressive, I may head for a zone designated for fighting against other players. It can get pretty intense. Last, but not least, I may check the Galactic Bounty Network because I play a bounty hunter, like Boba Fett. I'll take a contract and go looking for a player who has a price on their head from killing another player. Whoo, gets your adrenaline going. This is just a small piece of what you can do with your session. We're all different.

Don't know. I wonder if there's such a thing as a kamikaze vamp. You know, sits on a branch high in a tree then drops 'aaaagggghhhhhh' at the neck. You hate the Wizard of Oz???? :eek: Omg, I love that movie! I still watch it at least once a year since I have it on DVD. Also have to watch Gone with the Wind, Little Shop of Horrors, and Rocky Horror Picture Show & Shock Treatment a minimum of once a year. RHPS/Shock Treatment is usually about 6 times a year though. I just absolutely love Richard O'Brian.
