Former Bell High School teacher Alex Diaz, 37, has pleaded guilty to six sex-related charges and no contest to two other charges involving a 17-year-old female student. Diaz was sentenced to 180 days in jail and five years formal probation. Diaz was arrested last May and released on $20,000 bail.
Deputies allegedly discovered Diaz and the teen -- who has since turned 18 -- in the back seat of a car in a Carson parking lot on the night he was arrested.
