Lucy I am very sorry about your best friend's son. That has to be very frustrating. I also did your job when I was on an ambulance but we always went to a morgue. I believe LE and the Prosecutor are doing everthing they possibly can to prevent double jeopardy. There are things that do not add up and I know LE is holding on to some information.........IMO

I have been wondering for awhile now how Casey was smart enough not only to get rid of a body but to get rid of a body and get away with it. I'd like to know how she is smart enough to get away with what few do. I don't think she's that smart. Someone would have to provide that kind of info for her to follow. It takes someone knowledgeable to know how to dispose of a body, keep it hidden for a month so evidence would deteriorate to a point nothing could be proven except a death. Of course this all hinges upon a body being recovered.

Casey Anthony doesn't know that much on her own. IMO

Sociopaths are not dumb. She is smarter than some give her credit for. She just makes decisions based on what she wants with no regard to the consequences to others. It is all about her.

Also, her father was a homocide detective, IIRC. I am sure she has heard him talk about other murders and how the person was caught. A list of how to get away with murder if she listened.

Can you tell me how old this girl is? Is she a neighbor of the Anthony's or knew Caylee? :confused:

The girl's name is Dakotah. She lives in Osceola County which is about 40 minutes south of here. She saw on the news about Caylee and it hit her hard. She herself organized a prayer vigil at her church and a few hundred people showed up. They released colorful balloons, put out flyers, etc. She even arranged a fundraising event. Cindy took to her right away (probably as a substitue for Caylee). Then when Casey got out of jail the first time, she sent an email to her thanking her for her support and then kept writing. Dakotah's grandmother turned over all emails to LE.

Right...people are saying she's smart, but I disagree. If she were smart, she'd have come up with better lies. I mean, she tells the POLICE that she works at Universal - she doesn't think they are going to check on that and find she's lying?! She tells her friends Caylee is with her mom and dad, but tells her mom that Caylee is at the sitters? She doesn't think LE is going to find out she's lying?

Right now what sickens me more than anything is she goes around wearing that t-shirt! The gall! I wish someone would rip that right off of her...

Sources said they were conducted not because they were accused of anything, but to make sure detectives could confirm all the details of their stories.

Also rumor has it that LE is going to California to interview Padilla but that is not the main reason. They are going to talk to the Marine who had been emailing Casey. Supposedly she sent emails that she would be going to California shortly and would be telling him something shocking.

Also, two more police officers have come out and told the investigators that they had also slept with Casey. She goes through deputies like McDonalds goes through burgers!

(3rd pic and 6th pic from left) If so, I would assume that the body is buried somewhere very near there. My opinion.

I read some of the 400+ pages of discovery that LE released. I don't remember any Dante. I don't know where that name is coming from. As far as Kiomarie, I think the name of the friend who wanted to adopt Caylee was different. I'll try to find it. I find it very coincidental that both Caylee and Casey's middle name is Marie. Kiomarie - Casey Marie.

Also coincidental or planned? A few days after Caylee would have gone "missing" Casey went to a tattoo parlor (maybe that's Dante?) and had a tattoo with "Bella Vida" and stars. Bella Vida means beautiful life in Italian and Casey loved stars. Ummmmm.

He also so happened to hang out with the same people Casey is seen partying with, as well as fleeing his home at the Seagrass Apts. the same day police went to question him. They have yet to find any leads into his whereabouts now. Please send it to me as quickly as possible. I am in contact with a detective on Caylees case and he mentioned in an email just now that this guy is a priority find!!!!! So this is serious, break out those web detecitves or any other means

I'll be busy tonight reading the pages of discovery. I've printed off the first 150 pages and will post the discrepencies here tomorrow. For instance in Cindy's police statement she writes " "She refused t lelt me speak with her because she said I would upset her." When specifically asked during the Bond Hearing if Casey refused to let her speak to Caylee, Cindy answered, no, it wasn't that she was refused, it was always just an inopportune time. DUH! Kiomarie Torres Cruz

Another interview with the 431 pages of evidence was given by Anthony's friend, Kiomarie Cruz.

According to the document, when Anthony found out she was pregnant, she told Cruz she wanted to give the baby up for adoption. Later, Anthony called Cruz back and said her mother, Cindy, convinced her not to give up the child even though "she really didn't want to have the baby."

Cruz also told investigators she was concerned Anthony was capable of giving Caylee up for adoption and not telling anybody -- or worse -- just giving her daughter to someone.

Some of the comments she made are some of the things that mess up investigations. She is not qualified to diagnos and mental disorders that casey may or may not have had.

Also, I think that the interest in the people who casey may have had relationships with are basically to gather information on what went on and what she did in the 30 days Caylee was missing before anyone knew she was missing. Sometimes we read too much into who LE wants to talk to.

I thought it was very strange that on Greta Van Sustren George said he saw Casey and Caylee leave the house with their backbacks and I am very sure he said Caylee had a pink and white backpack. Well, they found two packpacks (just a group of citizens searching on their own in Jay Blanchard Park) one was pink and white and had children's books. Along with the backpacks, one yellow flipflop shoe and a pair of ladies size 5 jeans were found. After this was shown on tv, the Anthony's come out and said the backpack was blue with monkeys on it.
Also - did anyone else think it was strange that Casey first said on the 911 call that all Caylee said on the phone was hi and then it was taken away. Then when police question her she comes up with more conversation - about a story book. Well, I think that if a 3 year old talks to her mother after not having any contact for one month, the first thing she says is when am I going to come home, I want to come home.

Eyewitness News has learned Casey Anthony might have made up the name of Caylee's so-called nanny, Zenaida Gonzalez, from former classmates' names and the street name for a drug. Investigators are now looking into it because of Eyewitness News' questions.

Casey Anthony said she used to call Zenaida Gonzalez "Zanny," which Eyewitness News found out is also the street name for the anti-anxiety drug Xanax. Eyewitness News has also learned that investigators have asked at least one of her friends questions about Casey and Xanax during a lie detector test.

The names Casey has made up as her friends who introduced her to Zenaida also show up in her Colonial High School classmates roster. She named a Raquel Ferrell, who investigators say does not exist, but there was a Raquel Rosa in her class. Casey also named Jennifer Rosa as a friend whom investigators can't find. She had a classmate named James Ferrell and the name Jennifer shows up close by.

I didn't feel well this morning (probably from reading all that BS last night from Casey to LE) but remembered the group of you and had to come in to read what is new.

I read the first 133 pages last night. I noticed some discrepencies:

In one line of questioning Casey stated after work she went to pick up Caylee and no one was at the apartment and she waited until 7 p.m. and then started to look around. In another questioning, she stated she waited a little while and then went to Jay Blanchard Park and some stores to see if she could find Zeniada, at 7:00 she then went to the boyfriend's house.

She never said the father was dead when the police asked her, she said she had the obituary. Then the Detective asked her if she would give the baby to the Daddy's parents, and she stated that she had not talked to them since she was six or seven years old. So, she was childhood friends with the "father".

Regarding leaving the car at Amscott. This is interesting. She stated that the gauge showed a 1/2 tank of gas in the car. She was in the turning lane at Goldenrod and East Colonial (Amscott) and the car stopped. She assumed she was out of gasoline. Two men pushed the car into the Amscott parking lot (makes sense in light of where the car was parked - right near the side parking lot entrance. I think Nancy Grace should put out an APB for these two men.

Zenaida had at least five addresses during the time Casey knew her. One is a subdivision which was just under construction at the time.

Grandma Cindy had stated to the news people, when she was their friend, that the police were not doing their job and that she had the telephone records for days and the police hadn't picked them up. Turns out the police had the records the day after the 911 call.

Also in one statement a close friend, I think it was Jesse, stated that Casey's hobby is photography. I remember when the issue of the chloroform first came up on Nancy Grance, the forensic specialst said it would be used in photography. Also, during the Bond hearing, Cindy said that Casey was actually a subtractor at Universal and not a direct employee of Universal. First she worked for Kodak (I think) and then it was bought out by another company. They took the photos of guests at the park. So it is possible she had access to it and was looking up other uses for it.

Guess you all saw that George is losing it badly. He accused the media of paying the protestors to tear apart his family. This morning, more film was shown from 1:30 a.m. He got into a scuffle with some young protestors. Firstly, at 1:30 a.m. if someone is banging on your garage door you stay in the house! Cindy came out with a baseball bat and the woman protestor grabbed George's shirt to pull him onto the sidewalk. Why face these people. If they didn't get so combative with these people, they'd give up and go home. Better yet, put Casey back in jail and then everyone will be happy.

There is no sketch to release. I believe one was created but the police wouldn't release it since they had no reason to believe the woman existed.

According to the statements I read yesterday, Zani the Nanny was from NY. She was a "mix of Puerto Rican mother and black father". (Which make me curious about the Ferandez Gonzales last name.) Her hair was black and I think short, eyes brown, about 5" tall. That's all I remember offhand. She has a mother and sister now living in Miami, she had a boyfriend for a short while, had two roommates and had gone to the University of Florida. and was about 26 years old. Made me wonder why someone who went to UF would not have a steady job. She made no mention, nor was any question asked as to how she paid this "Nanny" for taking care of Caylee.

Regardless of who or what is in that house, these 'protesters' that show up at 2am (?! Two in the morning? These bums don't have jobs? They don't have anything better to do after the bars close?)...where was I? Oh yeah - Protesters show up at 2am and start yelling and throwing things at their house? That is just wrong! You don't protest someones stupidity or culpability with stupidity and illegal acts! They're disturbing the peace of these poor innocent neighbors. Throwing rocks at the house? My guess is they found something that satisfied them the last time they went out on the search. Might not be the body, but something else very important. Protester pulls out Taser
10:50 a.m. A protester parked near the Anthony home pulled out a Taser late Thursday after feeling threatened by homeowners, deputies said.

A group of residents approached the man's car and told him to leave the neighborhood, he told deputies. The Guardian Angels, who were stationed outside of the home, saw the confrontation and got involved, said spokesman Jim Solomons.

One of the members of the volunteer safety patrol jumped on the man's car as he was trying to leave, Solmons said. The volunteer was not seriously injured.

However, the homeowners and Guardian Angels gave deputies a different version of events. They told deputies that the man in the car pulled out the Taser and threatened them and then tried to drive away. The Guardian Angels said they were trying to keep the man from leaving and stood in front of his car. The man used his car to bump one of them, Solomons said.

Deputies are investigating the incident.

LE did do a search after Equusearch left in the area of the University of Central Florida 4u2 and I have no idea if they found anything or not. IMO

Which brings me to the interviews using LTD's with the 3 friends of Casey. I have wondered if they were on the phone bill and have some information from phone calls with her? Not big news from Equusearch but it does fit with phone records. IMO thanks One2Snoop

The Anthonys did not/could not afford the bond...they didn't get Casey out. Just because George and Cindy are in deep denial (or even if they MAY be covering for their daughter) no one has any PROOF (yet) of what happened. To say 'to hell with them' is unfair and irresponsible. Most of the so-called protesters are NOT there for Caylee. If the Guardian Angels turn their backs to the Anthony house, and George, Cindy, and Casey are murdered by some drunk whack-job, would that make anyone happy? Would that be justice? I don't think so.

Often LE will zero in on a theory and not budge from it. Sometimes that's a problem. In this case it's not. They could tell at the point of that second interview (I wish NG would stop calling it an interrogation!) that Casey was full of it. No one has heard of Zanny, seen Zanny, knows where ZAnny lives...anything!

Casey Anthony resides in the Orlando, Florida area and is the mother of two-year-old Caylee Anthony. Casey claims that on June 9, 2008 she left Caylee with friend and nanny Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez. Casey said she lost contact with Zenaida and has not seen her daughter Caylee since June 9. For some reason, Casey did not tell anyone including the police that her daughter was missing until July 15, 2008. The following day, July 16, Caylee was arrested on suspicion of child neglect, providing false official statements and obstructing a criminal investigation. She remained in jail until being released on bond August 21, 2008. While Casey is at home under electronic monitoring Caylee is still missing.

I have not seen any transcripts of the police interviews with Casey. There are two documents we can review. On July 15, 2008, Cindy Anthony, Casey's mother, called 911 to report Caylee was missing. She made two phone calls to 911 that day. During the second call the 911 operator asked to speak to Casey.
911: Hi. What can you...can you tell me what's going on a little bit?
Casey: I'm sorry?
911: Can you tell me a little bit what's going on?
Casey: My daughter's been missing for the last 31 days.
911: And you know who has her?
Casey: I know who has her. I've tried to contact her. I actually received
a phone call today. Now from a number that is no longer in service.
I did get to speak to my daughter for about a moment. About a minute.
The first thing we see is that Casey answered a question with a question, "I'm sorry?" Answering a question with a question usually means the person was asked a sensitive question. This is a stall tactic giving the person time to think about how to answer the question. Remember Casey's mother called 911. Casey probably was not expecting to get on the phone.

The next thing that jumps out at me is the statement, "I actually received a phone call today." The shortest sentence is the best sentence. Extra words give us extra information. "I received a phone call today" is a good statement. Why did Casey add the word "actually"? The word "actually" is used when a person is comparing two thoughts. For example, "Is your car blue?" "Actually, my car is red." In this answer, the person is comparing blue with red. When the interviewer has not proffered anything and the person uses the word "actually" we then have some undisclosed information. Casey is comparing receiving a phone call today with what? Not receiving a phone call? There is no reason to use the word "actually" unless she is thinking about something else. She uses the word to bolster her statement but instead it indicates she is being deceptive.

She then goes on to say that the number that called her that very day is no longer in service.


Casey was arrested on July 16, 2008 and made a telephone call to her mother from the Orange County Jail. The practice of most detention centers is to record any phone calls made by an inmate. On July 25, the Orange County Jail released Casey's 13-minute telephone call. During the call Casey made the following statements.
"I have no clue where Caylee is."

"That I have no clue where my daughter is? Yes, that is the truth. That is the absolute truth."
Twice Casey said she had "no clue" where her daughter is. It is hard to believe a person when he or she says, "I have no clue" or "I have no idea." Most people have an idea on just about everything. I don't know how we can successfully send a man to Mars but I have an idea. My idea probably will not work because I am not a rocket scientist but I do have an idea. Casey also has to have an idea or clue as to where Caylee is. Doesn't she believe Caylee is with Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez? This is a strong indication she is withholding information.

We saw the same thing with Senator Joe Biden. He is on the list as a possible running mate with Barack Obama. On August 20, 2008, Biden was asked by the press if he was going to be the Democratic vice presidential candidate. He responded, "I promise you I don't know anything. I have no idea." I will bet you he does become the Democratic vice presidential candidate and I will bet you Casey Anthony is withholding information about her daughter's disappearance.

On August 23, 2008, Barack Obama announced that he had selected Senator Joe Biden as his vice presidential running mate. There is still no update on the Caylee's whereabouts.

On September 12, 2008 the Orange County Sheriff's office released the audio recordings of the two interviews they conducted with Casey Anthony on July 16, 2008.

And I show up to the apartment knock on door nobody answers. So, I call Zeniada cell

So, I sit down on the steps and wait for a little bit to see if maybe it was just a
fluke if something happened and time passed and I didn’t hear from anyone. No one
showed up to the house so I went over to J. Blanchard Park and checked a couple of
other places where maybe possibly they would have gone; couple stores, just regular
places that I know Zenida shops at and she’s taken Caylee before. And after about
7:00 when I still hadn’t heard anything I was getting pretty upset, pretty frantic
and I went to a neutral place. I didn’t really want to come home. I wasn’t sure what
I would say about not knowing where Caylee was still hoping that I would get a call
or you know find out that Caylee was coming back so that I could go get her. And I
ended up going to my boyfriend Anthony’s house who lives in Sutton Place.
Since Casey is telling the detective what happened the day her daughter disappeared, her statement should be in the past tense. In the first five sentences, Casey uses language that is in the present tense.

Truthful people will rely on their memory and tell us what happened. Since deceptive people are not searching their memory but are making up the story, present tense language may creep into their statement.

In a statement, a person should be telling us what happened. When a person explains why he or she did something this is considered out-of-bound and is cause for concern as to whether or not the person is being truthful. Words such as "so" "since" and "because" should raise a red flag.
I wasn’t sure what I would say about not knowing where Caylee was still hoping that
I would get a call or you know find out that Caylee was coming back so that I could go get her.
When people use the phrase "you know" they sometimes want us to take for granted what they are about to say. However, we take nothing for granted and only believe what they tell us. Some people have a habit of using this phrase but I did not hear Casey use this phrase often.


The second interview with Casey Anthony took place on the same day in the afternoon. Casey told the detectives that she worked at Universal Studios and that she may have information in her office that would help in finding Caylee. The detectives and Casey went to Universal Studios and as they are walking down the hall to Casey's office she admits that she does not work at Universal Studios. It appears they then went into a conference room to conduct the second interview. Here is a portion of the interview.
Q. I know and you know that everything you’ve told me is a lie. Correct?
A. Not everything that I’ve told you.
It is obvious that Casey has lied to the detectives since she told them she worked at Universal Studios when she didn't. She further tells us she has not been completely truthful when she says "not everything" has been a lie. That means some of the things she said was lie and some things were true.
Q. This has gone so far down hill and this has become such a mess that we need to end it.
It’s very simple. We just need to end it.
A. I agree with you. I have no clue where she is.
Q. Sure you do.
A. If I knew, in any sense of where she was this wouldn’t have happened at all.
As I mentioned earlier it is very rare when a person can honestly say he or she has "no clue" or has "no idea."

The detectives talk about a hypothetical young mother who confesses that a horrible thing happened. Casey responds with the following.
The horrible thing that happened, this is the honest to God’s truth, of everything
that I’ve said I do not know where she is. The last person that I saw her with is
Zenaida. She’s the last person that I’ve seen my daughter with.
Casey begins her response as if she is going to tell us what horrible thing happened. However, she then changes her thinking and does not tell us what horrible thing happened.

The phrase "honest to God" is often used by deceptive people. However, if an interviewer continually tells the subject that he or she is lying, this may force the subject to use phrases such as "honest to God" or "I swear to God."
Q. Favorite places to go? I guess Universal is one of them.
A. As a theatrical thing of course but she liked J. Blanchard Park going to
Lake Underhill and walk around the lake.
Q. Where about in the park did she like the best?
A. The playgrounds. She liked to just attempt to run around Lake Underhill.
She liked to go and walk the big trail at J. Blanchard Park.
Q. That’s a big trail.
A. She loved that.
Q. You’re going to be our biggest help in solving this.
A. I have nothing to go off of that’s the problem. I have perspective ideas
of maybe where she could go. At the same time she could have gone back up
to New York. Could have gone up to Jacksonville where we have a friend.
Could have gone down to Miami where her mom and her sister live now.
She could have gone anywhere.
I had mentioned that when telling a story the person should be using past tense language. An exception to that rule is when talking about a missing person. Family members want to believe their missing loved one is alive and well. Therefore, they will always talk about them using present tense language. When a family member talks about the missing person using past tense language, they are revealing to us that they know the person is dead. Four times Casey refers to Caylee in the past tense. Many missing child cases are solved by listening to the verb tenses.

In talking about Caylee's whereabouts, Casey states, "I have perspective ideas of maybe where she could go." However, earlier in the interview she said, "I have no clue where she is." In the telephone call to her mother on July 16, 2008 she said, "I have no clue where Caylee is." "That I have no clue where my daughter is? Yes, that is the truth." Suddenly she now has "perspective ideas." As I said, it is hard to believe someone when they say "I have no clue" or "I have no idea."


All indications are Casey Anthony is telling a multitude of lies. She knows what happened to her daughter Caylee and she knows her daughter is dead.

I think so... the temps here have been in the mid 90's for many weeks and finally, we are getting cooler temps with less rain. Much better conditions for searching and having volunteers. I also heard from a co-worker that they have checked the landfill with no signs of little Caylee. I however, have not seen any report of this so I take it w/ a grain of salt.

Regarding the guardian Angels, they should stand in front of NEIGHBORS homes, backs turned to the Anthonys. Keep the peace for the NEIGHBORS and allow the protestors to speak out for Caylee. The Anthonys paid for this circus (i.e. BAIL). I'm sure if it were a child molesters home, the Homeowners Assoc. would seek for his removal from the community. Yet, a possible child killer and they want special attention (24/7 sheriff protection?).

I wonder if the detectives have any cleared checks that Casey would have written to this "nanny" for her services. Just another item to be missing from the big puzzle. imo

Casey will most likely be heading back to her second home, jail, in the next few days. More check fraud charges are currently being filed on Casey Anthony. We can only hope that the constant moves into and out of jail will eventually break her down. If she thought that killing little Caylee was going to make her life easier, she sure was wrong! On a typical day she spends approximatly 6 hours at her lawyer’s office. I’m sure not all of that time is spent dicussing the case, but she certainly isn’t out partying like I’m sure she wishes she was!

So why doesn’t she just open her mouth and tell the truth? Atleast that way she wouldn’t have to keep moving, she could stay in one cell for the rest of her life! Psychiatrists say that she doesn’t have the capacity to care about anyone other than herself. If that is the case, she would still benefit from talking. Dragging it out is really only going to make it worse for her, her family, and poor little Caylee.

So many people have ideas about what they think may have happened to Caylee, but only Casey knows . . .and it will take the jaws of life to pry the truth out of her.

Moving back and forth will not break Casey. as long as she can be innocent she will. It will take hard evidence to use the murder charge. IMO

You are right, Minga. Jumping around on contract is ridiculous, even if you have an excellent credit rating, and that is kapush if you do that. "Pay as you go" is tricky too. You need a job, and it will cost more in the long run than contract. With pay as you go, your night and weekend minutes add up, (they are not free), (maybe on Verizon, but only if you have purchased minutes on your phone) and also voice mail eats into your minutes on pay as you go. jmo :)

One thing Casey said that really bothered me (during the interviews at universal) was how Caylee had never gotten upset about not being with her, that the only person Caylee would have cried for would have been Cindy. Funnily enough she never gave an explanation at all because she continued to insist that Zenaida existed and that she had been led to beleive and thought that was Zenaidas address, as she had dropped Caylee there before. When she realised that noone lived in the apartment she did backtrack a little saying that she never entered the apartment, just dropped Caylee off on the stairs. The cops tried to call her on this as well by saying that they had seen the camera footage for that night and there was no sign of her or Caylee being on the steps that night. Casey just ignored this and continued to say she was telling the truth. It looks like the cops may have been trying to bluff her though because they never pushed the point either.

yeah its weird the lies, who would just drop off their child on the stairs and never go in the apartment? Hello? You dont go inside your nannys home? But, I did go thru some stuff, and that would be one of the first charges against her, (the obstruction of justice and negligence of a child) that she was first bailed out from (I think), so when it goes to trial, she will face that lie and the others, (am i right?). Its just got so confusing cos shes been nabbed with all these fraud charges on top of the original one. Bloody circus really. I did read that the theft/fraud charges alone will carry a seventy year term, but is this on top of the original charges of hindering police and child endangerment? It really does your head in trying to work it all out. The thing that gets me, is a childs life is in jeopardy (sadly I think a childs remains are going to be beyond any forensic justice), but they are playing it out like a game. Woostock, I did read somewhere that another person may be involved. Due to the amount of phone calls made by or recieved by casey at the time caylee went missing. I cant recall where I read that now, might have been nancy grace, or a blog. I read so much, and it does in your head doesnt it. One person I (IMOO) that may be involved is old george the dad. All the obvious reasons, an ex homicide LE, he shyed away from the home when cindy called him when she made the first 911 calls (he tried to send Lee to sort it out). He would know how to dispose the body, and then told casey to do a runner and not report caylee missing. The estrangement from that family to me seems to be between cindy and casey. Maybe george is closer to casey than cindy was. Maybe the online rumours of the hair dna being akin, maybe george was caylees dad. Its sick to say that, but its all very probable. I wonder what the deal is with the hair dna sample from the car boot. Theres just so much LE have reported to the public, then you think WTH. Then they let her go. Its weird alright. Poor little Caylee, I just hope she is found and the truth comes out.

That's exactly right and I posted that same thought before. Any grandparent would ask for a phone number and if they were really diligent perhaps would want to meet the baby sitter, see where they lived, etc. But at the least they would obtain a phone number in case of an emergency.They were so involved with Caylee's life yet they didn't know where she spent her days......The bottom line is they had no idea where Casey and Caylee were when they left the house or they are lying just like their daughter. When all this goes to court it will be interesting when Cindy gets on the stand and she is asked about this. What a bunch of losers that family is. Caylee deserved better, poor baby.

I disagree that Cindy and George knew anything about Caylee being missing or that George helped Casey dispose of the body. It just doesn't add up at all with their actions. If you read the statements made by George and Cindy to the police, in those 400 documents that were released, it is very apparent that George especially was as helpful to LE as he could be. He let them have access to anything they wanted without a subpoeana and when they wanted to search the backyard it was George who told them that the pavers had been layed recently and that there was a patch of the soil in the yard that was disturbed.
I don't like the way the family seem to have gone into denial anymore than everyone else but the fact is that when these grandparents found their grandchild was missing their actions and dealings with the police were above reproach. I don't know how I would handle a situation like this if I were them but I don't think they can be judged to harshly for wanting to beleive against the odds that their daughter did not kill their grandchild. Cindy repeatedly has said when the police can show her that Caylee is dead she will stop looking and stop hoping but until then she can't. Not to mention that Casey is a skilled manipulator and she knows how to act to have her parents beleive her. There are a lot of bloggers that have found unusual info and links regarding a Zenaida Gonzales and Romeo etc. I will post these theories later. I personally don't think they will pan out but if they give some bloggers the idea that Casey might be innocent then I can understand how the family would jump on that as a real possibility. It is certainly more palatable then the alternative.

Casey is expected to defend her actions in this part as being the actions of a frightened mum who didn't know better lol! More like a selfish person who doesn't deserve to be called mum! You are right there. This would be Casey's first conviction on fraud charges so the reality is that she would be looking at 3 years tops and perhaps a good behaviour bond. 10years maximum for each count isn't even close to what she would really get and the judge can't give her a harsher sentence than normal to account for her treatment of her daughter because it is a seperate matter entirely.
You probably know this but Casey has tried to excuse these thefts by saying that she would lie cheat and steal to help her daughter. Makes you want to gaff doesn't it. I mean she stole the money from her grandpa's assisted living fund before Caylee even went missing. She is a real piece of work.

Well TOEJAM at this point I have seen Caylee with pictures of shamrocks on her clothes. Casey with a hat with shamrocks on it and I think it is a possiblilty that TES found a hat. Jesse's father did say that Casey denied pregnancy when she was and her job at the time was to take pictures at Univeral of people on rides. Jesse's father pretty much backed up what his son said on Geraldo. they both still believe Caylee is alive. Then Mark Klaas was on for a few minutes talking about importance of LDT's and said that Casey was "an odious person" and talked in "concentric circles". Then Padilla came on saying his partner had talked to Lee about LDTs.

Also there were sightings of Caylee supposedly at McDonald's in Tennessee and FBI confirmed it was not her.

Also I was thinking about you post. Rumors say that Caylee might have been put in Lake Jessup which apparently has more alligators than any other lakes in the area. I looked on the map and a major expressway runs from the area Casey hung out and runs over the lake. it is an ugly thought. IMO

Why would this guy start speaking now? There are three reasons, I think:

1 - To help find Caylee/prove that Caseys a liar
2 - To defend Casey - that she's not a lying monster
3 - For his own interest$

According to one of the forensics on NG, they said burying the body or putting it in water would slow down the decomp process as opposed to leaving it out in the open. I just drove over that bridge on Saturday and the amount of water on that lake is higher than I have ever seen it. In fact the area is flooded about 1/4 mile past where the lake ended. If there was a body in there, it will never be found. Also, there are cameras on that bridge so she would have disposed of a body closer to shore.

My take on the Nanny statement to Jesse's father was that he told her that she had to take care of the babysitting situation and guess what?!! She just happened to have one at the time he said it. How convenient. I believe she got the picture and out of her mouth comes another lie. She knew she had exhausted his family as babysitters and told him it was taken care of. Lie, lie, lie.

I do believe Grund's father. He has no reason to lie and he just answered the questions. I think he has nothing to gain except to show his son was duped, they were duped and fell into Casey's traps as well. She's a nurse and yet she believed Casey's story of having problems. For crying out loud, you take your 17 year old daughter to the doctor if you think there are problems like that. The family had to insist Cindy take Casey to the doctor because she was pregnant - at 7 months along! :shrug:

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- The State Attorney's Office has released nearly 600 of pages of documents in the case against Casey Anthony, the mother of missing 3-year-old Caylee Marie.

The documents, including interviews with family members and other investigative material, are released as part of discovery, which is procedure where the state releases information to defense.

According to the newly-released documents, Lee Anthony said Casey's mother was immediately worried about Caylee's wellbeing because of the smell from the car Casey had abandoned that "went over [their] garage like a wave." Lee also said Casey said her mom constantly reminded her of what an unfit mother she is.

Lee told investigators that his mother, Cindy, had said that Caylee was the best thing that happened and actually the worst thing was that Caylee was actually Casey's mistake.

Investigators interviewed Casey's boyfriend, Tony Lazarro, who said sometime after July 5, at least a couple weeks after Caylee disappeared, Casey would wake up sweating and tell him she was having nightmares, but she told him the nightmares were about their relationship. .....

That is pretty amazing - just goes to show you how much Casey had her parents wrapped around her little finger. Even my husband said what kind of female problems does someone have that makes them look 7 mnths pregnant for gawd sakes!? :eek: :rolleyes:

ETA: I only know of one person who had a female problem (ovarian cancer) and the tumors had grown so large they made her look pregnant, she died within a year of her diagnosis - I can't imagine for the life of me someone's tummy growing so large without checking it out.

ETA: Tony and Casey met for the first time May 24th.

Casey used Tony's jeep and took it to the car wash before she picked him up from the airport. Hmmmm?

Cindy always made Casey come home at night.

Tony was with Casey early June when her car ran out of gas and she went to get a gas can from the Anthony shed. So I guess there are two incidents where she took the gas can. George reported two gas can stolen on or between June 24th and the 28th IIRC.

After Tony returned (Jul 5th) Casey started staying with him full time - no Caylee and Tony said Casey would wake up in the middle of the night from nightmares, sweating. This happened several times according to Tony.

Casey had a special ringtone set for when her mom (Cindy would call) and Casey always left the room to talk to her.

If a squirrel did get into the engine and got hit by the fan belt, any of the belts or the fan it could kill them and there would be the dead odor of decomposition, IF they didn't fall out onto the ground. However what I'd like to understand is how the squirrel got from the engine to the trunk and had Caylee's hair and DNA. :(

I just drove over that bridge on Saturday and the amount of water on that lake is higher than I have ever seen it. In fact the area is flooded about 1/4 mile past where the lake ended. If there was a body in there, it will never be found. Also, there are cameras on that bridge so she would have disposed of a body closer to shore.

Gator that was so cool you did that. I cannot tell you how frustrating it is being so far away. All I have is google. would the cameras pick up somthing in the dark do you think?

Well Lee Anthony's transcript is like reading a short novel LOL and between all the ums and uhs and cut off sentences etc the train of thought is a bit jumbled. Anyhow, here are few notes I jotted down -

*One thing that really stood out to me was Lee's remarks about the smell in the car - he must of said it at least 5 or 6 times (I didn't count but it seems like he mentions it a lot. He noticed the horrible smell upon arrival to Anthony home July 15 approx 8 PM. "It hit you like a wave - very potent"Another word he used was atrocious. He also said when LE seperated Casey from their parents he and Casey were out in the garage and he couldn't stand being out there - he'd stay a minute or 2 and then would go back inside the house or outside because the smell was so bad.

*After George called Lee to check on his mom and before the police arrived Lee said he played as mediator between Casey and his mom.

*Casey right off tells Lee that Caylee with with the nanny. Lee doesn't know of and has never met the nanny, has never heard her name before.

*Lee attempted to stall his mom from calling police for 30-45 minutes but When Lee couldn't get the info from Casey as to where Caylee was he told his mom to go ahead and call the police.

*Casey cries to Lee about stealing from their mom, from him and from their friend Ryan. Stacy stole checks from Lee and Ryan and racked up charges on her mothers credit cards.

*Lee found 20 receipts from June ? to Jul 15th, one missing from JC Penny(?) Nothing on the receipts indicated that Casey bought diapers, juice etc for Caylee.

*Verifys story that Casey retrieved gas cans from the shed one week prior to her leaving the car at Amscot. Tony was with her then. Casey asked Tony to stay in the car and came back 10-15 minutes later with the gas cans.

*Casey texted message a friend and says, " what are the odds I run out of gas 2 fridays in a row" Dates are Jun 20th and 27th.

*Casey deleted all her emails (in/out/trash/spam) from her yahoo email acct dating prior to July 15th. Also big gaps on her Myspace page, messages had been deleted between April 24th up to Jul 14th.

*Lee thinks Casey's laptop had crashed while staying Tony's. Possible virus.
Casey used someone else's computer to upload photo's to photobucket.

You said you've read Lee and Amy's interviews - what did you think about Amy's comments regarding Casey telling her about the smell and some animal being plastered on the front of her car? And then Lee's reaction to the smell when he walked thru the garage?

I can't help but wonder if there isn't some truth to Casey's story about something being plastered to the front of the car - did she hit Caylee with her car by accident maybe or in a fit of rage because she was mad at her mother? It certainly made me go hmmmmm. :confused:

on living but you know what gets me is the "Night Sweats" and "Night Mares"- she was probably reliving what happened in her dreams. I just cant imagine. The fighting that went on after Cindy found Casey and Amy had to hear it all. To also hear how Cindy had to be past panicing for the fear something had happened to Caylee--that is mother's intuition or grandmother's intuition in this case. I just dont know why Casey's parents want to cover for her. Casey's friends are telling the truth to get this matter solved why dont they? That would tend to suggest she has a speck of a conscience. But the speck went away.

Why did she quit having the nightmares? She should have them every night for the rest of her life. Caylee should come every night into her dreams and ask her "why mommy, why?" until she cracks. I hope she is continuing to have them, but the family would never tell.
