Morning Loretta :seeya:

I agree with you regarding the Timer55 not fitting in with the tattoo guy's remark. They can get her on that and smash that lie to smithereens. But the A's will call him a liar, I'm supposing. Everyone who has something to say that will show liar's guilt will be pissed on by them.
Can the A's take the 5th at trial? Will they?

George's drama in court the other day was totally sickening. I hate that he brought the framed picture of Caylee. It reminded me of how in acting school, to get acting students to cry they tell them to think of the saddest moment in their lives... Further more, The child wasn't killed by a stranger so why the picture? What does it prove? It proves to me that they want to evoke sympathy from the court. It didn't. When are those people going to stand up and get some class? They are making fools of themselves.

The fifth amendment can only be invoked to prevent self-incrimination, so if the Ant's try it, it's gonna be something else! The picture and the attempt to evoke sympathy was disgusting during a motion. And there sat Cindy shaking her head "no". Neither one of them have a clue re: the legal reasoning behind the judge's order. Cindy dinna do her homework.

Hope you had weeble fun today!

Aww Dazy, that is so neat! Happy Belated BDay to Lois B! http://i41.tinypic.com/21nljlx.jpg

I love the salute to lost soldiers NG does at the end of each show. A lot of people don't realize that during Viet Nam there was a body count on the front page of many daily papers. Really brings it home. :patriot:

I like how she tells us what they were like. Every one of them is a precious loss.

Maybe George is the one who dressed her.

That's a good point. And since he has now given Caylee breakfast, I'm sure as soon as he reads your post his story will be embellished again.

For Spitz to say "there is no evidence of murder" is like Janey Wientraub saying the same about Laci Peterson. Like, Laci Peterson walked the however many miles to the marina (her car was @ home, no one 'fessed up to giving her a ride) and then just walked into the waters of the marina until she drowned. I don't really think little Caylee Anthony could 1) walk to the place where her body was found, 2) manage to put duct tape over her own mouth (heck, she couldn't get it off the roll, let alone tear it, or cut it with scissors,) 3) manage to get herself into the garbage bags and laundry bag. The only other way for this to have happened is---MURDER!!!! :( Heck, she couldn't even have accidentally killed herself w/the duct tape--for the reasons listed above. A two y/o child, even if she is almost 3 can't do the duct tape thing, heck, there's a lot of adults who can't handle duct tape!!!!

And, of course, DR Spitz when YOU observed Caylee's remains, the duct tape was not in place. That is why the ME provided pictures and a report--because OBVIOUSLY the duct tape was on the remains when the ME first examined them. Dr G has no pony in this parade. Her report was BEFORE there was id of the remains, so there would have been no reason for her to try to make the report fit whatever anyone thinks Casey Anthony did to her daughter.

Spitz's comments were an insult to intelligence and to murder victims.

Remember when we make a choice, according to some, we create an alternate reality, a parallel dimension, if you will. If the Parallel Worlds theory is correct, nothing is really a lie, since it is true in at least one other dimension.

I think you can only take the 5th to avoid incriminating YOURSELF, not to avoid telling the truth about someone else.

I remember thinking while watching GA's performance that maybe he brought the picture so he could remember what she looked like. Remember how at first none of them would say her name? It was always "that little girl" or some other cutsey name. I was really offended when, in the ZG testimony GA said, "If you say 'remains' one more time I'' walk out of here. That was all that was left when they finally found Caylee and there is only Casey to blame. JMO, MOO :flamemad:

Dr. Spitz was technically corect. There was no duct tape or residue ON THE SKULL. Originally it was taped to the flesh of the face and the hair. It was so tight they had to cut the hair to get it off. When they removed it, there was no evidence ON THE SKULL. You have to watch this entire bunch and how they word things. LOL

LOL!!! Yesterday there was only one casualty. Poppa's beloved plants are on a table in front of the window in his office. Weeble number 2 decided to hide behind his door and when she scampered out of her hiding place, all ass and elbows,, CRASH!!!!!! When she ran I know I didn't see her feet touch the floor. :) I had to comfort her and when poppa came home I had to comfort him.

Keep those ice packs nice and cold. It's raining, so we are going to have to bake lots of muffins, water paint, have story time, and one of them will do time on the Time Out bench. (Guaranteed)

They hate that bench. It's sort of like Loretta's blue chair. One day the littlest one scraped her knee and I put her on that bench to tend to it, and she screamed bloody murder! I said, Aww, its not that bad of a boo boo... she said, But Nawn, Nawn, I'm not a bad girl and I'm on the bench! I don't like this bench Nawn!

I got it right away. :o

Casey Anthony's tattoo artist speaks out
Tattoo artist Danny Knight talked about Casey Anthony in a TV interview.

8:41 AM EDT, June 24, 2009

The owner of the tattoo parlor where Casey Anthony got inked after her daughter went missing, spoke on a national news show recently to discuss his interaction with her.

Danny Knight, owner of Cast Iron Tattoo, told Nancy Grace that Casey Anthony spoke only briefly of Caylee during a visit to his Orlando shop. She told Knight the same story she'd told her parents, boyfriend and friends -- Caylee was with the nanny.

While making an appointment to get a third tattoo, Casey Anthony told Knight she would bring Caylee with her to the next appointment. However, Casey Anthony was jailed and never got the tattoo.

"I think you can only take the 5th to avoid incriminating YOURSELF, not to avoid telling the truth about someone else."

Okay-somebody help e here.

Was I hallucinating when I read that George was formerly LEO??

Was this during THIS life-time or in the prehistoric past???

If he was in fact LEO, he had to have taken some kind of classes about the laws of our country, AND PASSED THEM.

And during his career as LEO, he had to have appeared in a court of law AT LEAST ONCE!

Now-assuming that all those facts are true, he would KNOW about 5th Amendment rights and when they can be used AND how they can be used.

Also-about his and Cindy's behavior-or lack there of-at the Zenaida depos-as LEO, at least HE should know better than to act that way...and you would THINK that he would have warned Cindy about how NOT to act-or Conway should have.

Now-after all that-my questions-

Did George drink the Kool-ade and lose all memory and experience from his LEO days, or did Cindy have a lobotomy performed on him while he was hospitalized, or was it that he WANTS to come across as hostile???

Or maybe this is their version of Ugly Coping...?

They're grieving so much for all their losses that their brains fell out??

Can they seriously slap them with contempt charges if they continue to act out in court while being questioned/or refusing to answer the questions, and do you think they actually will??

I'd like to see the court install an electrical charge to the seat in the witness stand, and let the Judge zap them every time they act out!!!

BeastofBears

My theory, SJ13, is that they thought if they acted like they did, Morgan would stop the deposition to ask the court for clarification on the right to ask the questions. This would have given them a chance to have the court rule that the questions were not relevant to the ZFG case and have the questions limited.

All imo, but this the only thing that can explain the inexplicable to me...

I think, instead of researching the doc dumps, Cindy would have done well to look into exactly what a depo is. She possibly would have learned that the witnesses do not control or lead the depo. The witnesses are there to answer the questions. I really think she tho't she and George could just go in and take charge. After all, they ARE the ANTHONY's !!!!!!

Yes, BoB, I do agree.

I just don't get George going into "stupid mode", and acting so unprofessionally.

Cops, soldiers, and doctors are a lot alike.

Their training doesn't just fly out the window in a crisis.

They DEPEND on that training!!

They kick into "battle mode".

They block out all extraneous data, and JUST DO what they're trained to do.

In George's case, the court room and the streets are his "work" zone, and to see him act so hostile and deranged is completely surreal.

Okay-I know that Cindy thinks she's entitled to be Queen, but you'd think that Conway would have prepared his clients for the depos, and warned them that their previous hostility would not fly in a legal proceeding.

This guy is just as stupid as Baez-if not MORE SO!!!

At the rate they're all going, not only is the Skank gonna get the DP, but George, Cindy, and probably Lee, too, are going to end up serving time for contempt charges.

This is all well and good as far as I'm concerned, but DAMN!!! How does this guy justify his fees for (mis-)representing them???

Where the Hell did he get his Law degree???

The University of Pluto???

Even if George isn't capable of acting in professional manner befitting a LEO, Conway isn't doing any of them any favors by letting them act like morons.

He should be dis-barred.

I amazes me where you can get a law degree. I think McDonalds' Buger University gives one too. I think that is where the guy in North Carolina a few years ago went. Col. Sander once had a University too. That would have been greasy degree though. Come to think of it some lawyers are a little greasy

They way they behaved at the dep that day was a great view of their underbellies and their persona's in the home.. and even the rotted out mindless idiot they had for a daughter, had to escape them. That's pretty bad if she couldn't even stand them. She's a POS IMO and yet she was unearthed by the two of them. That house had to be worse than hell to live in.

What I think happened at the dep was, they expected sympathy and soft soaking treatment and they didn't get it. As we know, they want special treatment because they lost a granddaughter. They want to emotionally blackmail everyone and be treated with kit gloves. NOT! So they got hysterical when it didn't happen.

They both have this -HOW DARE YOU- attitude. It serves them well to be the grandparents of a dead child, unlike so many other's we see, like the Coleman mom and her kids' parents. Now the A's cannot trump that card. Now what will they do?

Hi Sam! ITA with you and Loretta. Not sure if we've ever learned if GA was a "real cop," if he was fired, quit, or whatever. Since his meltdown and subsequent time in the hospital for SI, my guess is that he is not that stable. Maybe he never was. . .my impression is that GA is not that bright. Detective Cain is the officer who was sent to respond to Mr. Kronk's report of finding Caylee's body.

He supposedly went out more than once, failed to find anything, was sent out again to meet Kronk, and said he STILL didn't see anything suspicious-like the bag that Kronk spotted.

I believe the first time he went out, this ARMED officer saw a snake-may have been a DEAD snake-and basically high-tailed it out of the woods like a little girl.

"And if he ever WAS a cop, he certainly has crappy instincts-re-the decomp smell, all the lies, etc."

I was referring to the fact that he never acted on those instincts and reported what he encountered.

And as for little girls, my ex would have been one little girl that would have ran to investigate anything stinkey with a snake around it -- had she been a cat, her curiosity would have killed her before age 6!

For the love of God-the man had a GUN!!! If he thought the snake was alive, he could have tossed a rock past it to see if it moved, and then SHOT IT!!!

And I'm an ANIMAL FREAK!

It was probably only a garter snake, too. Or maybe a corn snake.

Probably better that he didn't shoot it...I'd have to fly to Florida just to kick his azz for hurting a non-venomous snake just because he's a flaky wuss.

Anyway-he's a girly-man and I think he's either on administrative leave or he's been fired for blowing off the multiple searches they sent him on for Caylee's remains.

What has been stated, but can't be taken as truth (what can?) is that George hurt his knee severely while he was an officer and left the force. He had been on disability for a long time before his knee was operated on and was able to work full time. Just what has been said, who knows what is true.

The Ants. are a family of secrets and lies. They blame everyone for all that has gone wrong in their lives. Nobody takes responsibility for anything in that bunch.
Cindy and the Liar are both is narcissistic nuts, IMO. GA should have stayed away while he had the chance.

Hi Drew, hope you are recovering from your surgery. Get well quickly. As to George's meltdown. We have no proof that he actually had one. I never believed he broke down. IMO it was a stall tactic to keep from having to testify at the deposition. Don't you think it odd that when he was finally released, no other hospital would take him? We don't know what is in his medical record. No proof he even took any pills. Anyone could have an empty bottle with them, or take them and then vomit. No, I didn't buy it for a minute. And, he parks his car right in front of the hotel where it can be prominently seen from the street. In the news clip where he's being walked to the police car, he looks impeccably neat, well groomed, and coherent. I've known fastidious people and when they were depressed, you could tell: hair not tended to, not shaven, wears the same clothes day after day, if they even got dressed. Try making a depressed person change from their pajamas or night clothes into street clothes. It's not easy.

"And as for little girls, my ex would have been one little girl that would have ran to investigate anything stinkey with a snake around it -- had she been a cat, her curiosity would have killed her before age 6!"

That would have required him to be able to hit what he was shooting at. I've seen some policemen shoot. Couldn't hit the road side of a barn with a bass fiddle.

Job? Hmmmm, job. Don't get me started on America's work force. There is about a 25% group of sensible, responsible people holding this country together with efficient work performance. Thank you people! That jackass shouldn't even be hired to flip burgers. He's a total example of our problem in this country. Flip off the important stuff.. yep. I'm so glad he's become the icon for poor work performance. He's famous, yayus! lol! A great power of example for our up and coming young adults. The new work force will be aware, I'm sure. That's my hope.

When I was in NYC in October, I was sitting in a coffee shop in Manhattan and noticed a man cleaning the trays at the coffee counter. He was cleaning them repeatedly for some minutes. (Sort of obsessively) It occurred to me that he was grateful for his job, however humble. Times are bad, jobs are scarce. I tell ya, you could have done surgery on those trays.

I've googled around and can't find anything to verify that George is or was former LE. But it looks like if he wasn't we'd have heard about it by now. I'd love to know the details o his leaving, though. Quit? Fired? Or just moving on? I've read that he was a detective.

As far as I can tell, George was cooperative and honest with the investigation at the onset (July), but sometime in August is when he first referred to the odor in the car as bad pizza. So whatever happened happened in short order. Can anyone else narrow this down? Maybe G&C's myriad TV appearances will help us suss this out. Was the pizza comment the first clue that we had that George was in denial?

Drew, didn't realize that you had surgery. Best wishes for a speedy recovery!

The suicide attempt raises my hinky meter for a couple of reasons, and you're right, his appearance when he was taken into custody was pretty neat for someone on the brink. The other thing that ugs me is that Cindy and Brad waited so long to contact LE, and when they finally did, it was Brad making the call. George had been on his way to a job interview that day; you'd think Cindy would have been all up in his grill trying to find out whether or not he was gainfully employed.

Thanks for the reminder that G had been on disability after injuring his knee.

i don't remember WHERE i heard it exactly but i heard somewhere that George was a cop in Ohio but when Cyndi became pregnant with Casey she decided that it wasn't safe for him to be a police officer anymore and demanded that he go into the car dealership with his family. I believe it was shortly after that that he got into whatever fight with his father and put his father through the glass door and then shortly after THAT i am pretty sure they moved to Florida. Not sure how much of that is true and how much is rumor or speculation, but that is what i heard either online or on tv somewhere lol

WAYYYYYY back at the begining I remember that too. I think it was discussed or reported here somewhere. If he did that to his father, they didn't need him as a police officer. Emotions like that will get you in big trouble as a police officer.

Hey Gator! Thanks for the well wishes. I'm slowly improving---have so missed everyone here and appreciate all the kind words you all have sent.
As for George's "meltdown" etc. ITA with ya, G. He didn't appear to be that despondent, depressed or even the slightest suicidal. These Ants. can fake anything! Look at their daughter (and son for that matter)! The parents have been master role models haven't they? I agree that George staged it, exaggerated it and for the life of me, can't figure out why ANY hospital would keep him THAT long (wasn't he there for over 1 wk.?). He probably had good medical insurance otherwise they discharge asap because of costs, liability, etc.
You and Nawny bring up good points about true depression and feeling hopeless. Remember, George claimed "he wanted to go be with Caylee"?? That was all fabricated to delay the depos. IMO, the whole damn "meltdown" was staged and hope this all comes out in the trial.
I'm so damn sick of George carrying on and rubbing Caylee's photo, and acting all "broken". WTF? How many men do we all know that carry on in public like this idiot? Be a man, George. Grow a pair. Step up and defend that innocent little girl your gorgeous, princess killed. Coward.:flamemad:

"I think, instead of researching the doc dumps, Cindy would have done well to look into exactly what a depo is. She possibly would have learned that the witnesses do not control or lead the depo. The witnesses are there to answer the questions. I really think she tho't she and George could just go in and take charge. After all, they ARE the ANTHONY's !!!!!!"

Bolding mine.

IMO, it wouldn't matter WHAT Conway told the A's about how to act. Perhaps he DID try to prepare them, but THEY felt they knew how to conduct themselves in such a way as to prevent M&M getting ANY info from them.

The reason I don't exactly blame Conway for "allowing" them to act in any particular way is because of NeJames. It seems HE was trying to help the A's in pretty much the same way, likely telling them not to have their faces on the evening news every day and to not appear on every talk show (or @ least trying to guide them in what to say, how to say it, and what not to say.) NeJames threw in the towel, IMO, because the A's are not receptive to any advice (and that's what it boils down to) that doesn't let them do what they want.

That being said, I think Conway would do himself a big favor by following NeJames in firing the A's as clients. To not follow one or two pieces of advice, okay. But, if he advised them against all the things they have been doing and saying, I'd sure take the nearest exit. But, maybe Conway feels like he earns his money advising them, regardless of whether or not they take that advice. IMO, he sure looks the fool for going on the shows and giving interviews where he seems to try to defend their actions and words.

"Maybe George was a lousy cop. What do we know about his history in LE? Or why he left? Besides to start up a business and be rich like the rest of his family at Cindy's behest? Guess that could all be rumor."

Probably right there, Loretta!

And if he ever WAS a cop, he certainly has crappy instincts-re-the decomp smell, all the lies, etc.

Maybe that's why he left LE. He just SUCKED at it????

The police officer (currently Sheriff or Chief of Police, or was when quoted) from Ohio who confirmed that George was a homicide detective stated that George was a good detective. Of course, that is what the fellow said to reporters, but does not have to actually be the truth. Just the truth in this fellow's eyes, or that he wanted to paint a positive picture of the poor grieving grandfather. IMO

So if George is around 56 or 57 and he left LE when Casey was born, that would make him mid 30s when he left LE. I wonder how long he was an officer and how long it took him to make detective, what his rank was, etc.

"That being said, I think Conway would do himself a big favor by following NeJames in firing the A's as clients. To not follow one or two pieces of advice, okay. But, if he advised them against all the things they have been doing and saying, I'd sure take the nearest exit. But, maybe Conway feels like he earns his money advising them, regardless of whether or not they take that advice. IMO, he sure looks the fool for going on the shows and giving interviews where he seems to try to defend their actions and words."

I agree, Amy!

Maybe his career and self-esteem mean nothing to him, and he's just in it for the bucks?

Is there something in the bar ethics codes that say you can't leave a client in need? Because they have bigger stuff going on now than when Nejames was there, imo...

Just wondering if Conway gets any bucks, let alone big ones. Do the Ants really have any income at this point? Seems like I read a whort while back that George had gone for a job interview, but haven't heard the upshot of it. Let alone what the job was. Think I also read that Cindy's nursing license has expired. So is Lee paying the mortgage these days?

Had pretty high hopes for Brad Conway at the beginning of his association with G&C (that he would corral those two), but at this point not so much.

Seems like there are instances where attorneys aren't allowed to fire themselves, but since G&C don't have any charges leveled at them what's to stop him from abandoning ship? Maybe he simply doesn't think that their behavior(s) is that outre.:confused:

ITA with ya, Sam and Amy. BC sure does look the fool. But he deserves it if he's letting Cindy call all the shots. The Ants. don't take advice. They don't need attorneys; they need psychiatrists. And you know what? Someone will notice and he'll get promoted or hired away. And someone else will think, why not me? We know.

Interesting that you should say that. I've noticed that those who work anywhere, and do a good job get promoted to manager fast lately. When I was at the Orlando airport a young girl about 20 years old asked me for a cigarette outside on the wait walk. She struck up a conversation with me.

She explained that she worked at the luggage line and after two weeks they promoted her to manager and she was scared, but was glad because she didn't have to break her back anymore. Her new position included helping direct people. I wondered why they promoted that witless wonder to manager... she was a dip! I asked her why she thought they did that. She said, "Um, I worked?"

Blink.

I am convinced that BC does not care about his clients or he would have reined them in a long time ago. He's just along for the publicity ride and book deal so he can get himself a "new set of wheels."
DrewB

I used to feel so much pity for George. But his lack of humility makes me cringe ...yep. I get that his life has been ravaged by Cindy and Casey and I get that the loss of Caylee has to be horrendous (knowing she was murdered)
I still feel for all of them, bad or not. BUT- the more I read and hear, the more I get the sense that George was a real ass/hole before any of this stuff happened.

I remember the comment Lee made when he was being filmed talking to Tony in his car. He implied that George was not so nice. I also remember the in house fighting with his kids and the cheating he did. He's the one who filed for a divorce. He came back and let the Grinch support him, it seems. I no longer see him as a victim. And all his lying didn't help him look any better than the Grinch.

Yes he was supporting LE when the news of Caylee's disappearance was learned, and yes he attacked liar the night after she got home and wouldn't talk. Remember he said, "What have you done with my granddaughter?" Then he did the 180. He's a broken man but he needs to give in to the truth as he knows it. He doesn't seem to trust his future without the one who butters his bread so he agrees with her.

I'm waiting for liar to point the finger at daddy and make him part of the problem.... I predict she is going after him and the Grinch as the reason she ran away.

So I am sitting out on the back stoop having a cigarette, looking at a piece of trash that one of the birds had dropped that still had some food stuff on it and it hit me.

Had the duct tape not been firmly attached to the skeleton by the hair, birds would have picked it up and carried it off. Or the wind would have gotten it and blown it away.

So for the Anthonys to say that she wasn't there that long is just bs.

One thing I do not doubt is that Cindy loved Caylee, George too. But it actually makes more sense for Casey to lay it at her door than the imaginanny, imo. At least Cindy exists and has admitted taking care of Caylee. But I know CA did not harm her and would not harm her. quite frankly, i think that Caylee was the only thing in the world besides herself that Cyndi DID love! I wonder if the thought has already crossed her mind that her daughter might be trying to set her up for this, maybe that's part of why she is so freakin loony now. the depos do not look good for either her or George but I don't think they would point to her being guilty of anything except lying to save her daughters azz. maybe she thinks that if she keeps on sticking up for Casey then Casey won't throw her under the bus....which if that is the case then she is more in denial than anyone could imagine.

This whole family seems co-dependent, but I haven't quite figured out what the driving force is aside from all the lying. Or maybe it's the money issues. As for Cindy supporting George, it seems likely to me that that's the way they both want it. Cindy didn't want to be strapped with alimony and didn't want to give up the house to pay him a divorce settlement, so they came to an agreement. He'd be the house husband taken whatever picayune job he could, and she'd wear the pants in the family. That's my simple exchange theory reasoning. They did a cost-benefit analysis and couldn't afford to get rid of each other.

I think G&C had the best of intentions when it came to giving Caylee love and a good life, but they were poorly equipped. It's hard for me not to blame them for not taking some sort of action that would protect her. But they chose to be blind to Casey's lies and behaviors. Even now, Caylee has The State and LE and virtual strangers clamoring for justice on her behalf, but not her blood.

I've read the emails, what I'm looking to narrow down is when George went over to the dark side, and was also wondering what kind of record George had as an officer. Now, I think Shirley is a hoot and a very honest woman (although somewhat blind to Cindy's martyrdom), in fact she's probably the sanest one of the bunch, and I believe whatall Rick had to say about the plate glass incident, but I wonder what the official word is on George's abilities.

She's still going to prison and the only way to see her will be with acrylic between them. If they didn't play this game and she gets sentenced, what, she is going to turn them away? Didn't mean to imply or infer that they are legally responsible for Caylee's death. But they failed Caylee just as they did Casey. Either that or she's The Bad Seed. And if that's the case, they had even more responsibility to protect Caylee.

They are all she has....she already tried to make them feel guilty about 'not bailing her out before' and she still continued speaking to them...anyway,

What not do the right thing? Why this flip flopping lying mis- truth stuff? Same outcome!

Exactly. If they stand for the truth, they will stand for Caylee, and the truth will out as far as Casey is concerned.

"Nope, Walmart."

Thank you, deacon!!!

I completely forgot about the Orlando Campus of Wally-World Community College!!!

I didn't realize they'd expanded to full law degrees, though.

Thanks, Amy. Good to know.

So if George is around 56 or 57 and he left LE when Casey was born, that would make him mid 30s when he left LE. I wonder how long he was an officer and how long it took him to make detective, what his rank was, etc.

The version I heard (or more likely, read) was that either right before or after LEE was born, Cindy told George to get into the family (his family) business because she wasn't going to be widowed and have to raise their children alone. I had also heard (or read) about his throwing his dad thru the plate glass window of the car dealership, which IIRC, was about the time that he no longer worked in the dealership. If there was also information about when that was in relation to the time they moved to FL, I don't recall reading that.

Is there something in the bar ethics codes that say you can't leave a client in need? Because they have bigger stuff going on now than when Nejames was there, imo...

I don't know, but it sure seems to me that a lawyer could disassociate himself with anyone who refuses to take his advice. Now, if he were an appointed public defender, if I understand that relationship, there would have to be a lot of proof about why the pd would be able to leave. And, in the ones I recall, very few pd's were allowed to leave the case. BUT, if it is a relationship that was entered voluntarily, I would think the lawyer could just fire them (NeJames did, and they were in pretty bad shape even then.)

IMO, Conway is getting paid a pretty penny from whatever source all the A money is coming from, or he is doing it pro-bono with an eye to publicity. And, he IS getting the publicity--promoted by himself, I wonder if he is aware how NEGATIVE that publicity is, and who in the world would want to hire him? Well, maybe only people who don't follow this case, and just hear that he is a lawyer associated with a "high profile" case. IMO

I think you are right. She will get up there and say that Cindy is Zanny and she will have everyone testify that the only person to ever watch Caylee was Cindy. 99% of the time. She will be in a pickle then.

Except it was George who watched Caylee 99% of the time--Cindy was working, George not so much. IMO

http://humbleopinion.wordpress.com/2009/05/01/cindy-anthony-nurse-license-expired/

I guess Cindy got on the stick and renewed. I think most people keep a license up to date even when on leave. Wondering where the harridan might find a job when/if she decides to go back to work.

Many people try to get all their CEU's in order well before the deadline date. When my kids were little, that's what I did. Took all I could from Sept 1 after an August renewal, and sometimes had all I needed by Feb. Depending on what classes taken you might only need to go to a couple of offerings to have the required quota in. That way, no matter what happens either personally or career wise--you have the requirements on hand to renew when the time comes.

If she already had the credits, all she would have to do is send in the paperwork by April 30. IIRC, the renewal app has to be POSTMARKED by the date. In the second link, it does show renewal by 5/1.

I don't think she's actually worked as a nurse for a long time. She worked for an at-home visiting nursing company. I believe she worked in the office, not as a visiting nurse.

Working as the nurse supervisor or manager of a home health agency IS still working "as a nurse." In the ones in our area, even the supervisors or managers have to go on calls periodically--someone didn't make it to work that day, for one. Or, to make the initial assessment for the office about what the needs are, what type of personnel need to be assigned to the job.

IIRC, recently (on this board?) there was a post where the poster had found financial information that included Cindy was paid for "visits."

Didn't GA retire from LE due to a knee injury?

I had read he "retired" from LE in Ohio because Cindy didn't want to take the chance of having to raise her kids without a father. He went into the car dealership business. I don't know that he ever worked in LE after they moved to FL, only that he had been doing security, according to HIS brother.

I can't remember when it was the A's moved to FL. But Cindy did not get her original nursing license until 1990, according to the links that were referring to whether or not she renewed this year. I think in the second link, where it says she DID renew.

Wonder what was going on in their lives that she decided she needed a career, or @ least a different career in 1997 or so (depending on what kind of nursing school she attended.) And what she did prior to 1990?

This fellow also confirms George was a homicide detective before leaving the force. George should definitely know a human death smell then, and not confuse it with a rotting pizza. Just my opinion and I know it's been said before. I think the pizza would have dried up pretty fast in Fla. in a hot car and the smell would have nearly disappeared in 3 or 4 days. Oh dear, one of my kids left a wrapped hamburger under the seat of my car once. I didn't drive that car often but I never noticed it until my husband found it a week later. :o

Maybe the renewal was postmarked before the renewal date but hadn't arrived yet, or wasn't entered yet. Or maybe the source of the 5/1/09 post isn't credible and/or fabricated the information.

It's hard to imagine Cindy having had much time for any CE classes especially after June and July. She must have gotten hers in early.

I had read he "retired" from LE in Ohio because Cindy didn't want to take the chance of having to raise her kids without a father. He went into the car dealership business. I suppose in '90, Cindy might have been looking forward to Casey starting school and thought going to work would be a good idea if she was a SAHM for instance. Not sure when the Anthony's moved to FL, but it seems like some of Casey's schoolmates spoke of having gone through school including the early years with her. (I could be misremembering!)

Hi Amy. ITA. I think Conway is going to ride this publicity train as long as possible. My bet is that the Grinch will fire him soon. He HAS to know how awful they come across to the public. He surely must have advised them to STFU and take his advice. OR, he's simply letting them dig a deeper hole for the Liar's grave because he's got nothing to lose. Still, I think he's sleazy. Don't ya wonder what kind of conversations Bozo and Conway have had? Surely, Bozo must have told Conway to put a muzzle on his clients---they're not helping his case! Or, maybe they all encourage G & C to make asses of themselves on the thing!!

One thing I do not doubt is that Cindy loved Caylee, George too. But it actually makes more sense for Casey to lay it at her door than the imaginanny, imo. At least Cindy exists and has admitted taking care of Caylee. But I know CA did not harm her and would not harm her. But Cindy won't look good in those depos to a jury, very defensive and offensive, imo.

Nah I don't think Casey will lay the murder on Cindy and George, I meant she will blame them for her messed up head, her amnesia about where she left Caylee,, etc. I have a strong feeling she is going to use them in her defense as the "Abuse Excuse" She will point to them as the reasons she was irresponsible and the pressure made her do all those insane things.. it could work to save her from the death penalty. Fight or flight?

We all know she won't confess but if there is physical evidence, hmmm, she will cut mommy and daddy some serious blame for her actions. She has nothing else.

HAH! Love the rotten tail analogy!

Okay, I just find it hard to believe that G&C were comfortable with Casey being gone with Caylee (especially since the theft from Mrs. Plesea had just come to light). Even if there wasn't a knockdown drag out, they had to realize that she was desperate. How could they have allowed her to leave the house with her until things were resolved?!

And when Cindy got to the point that she couldn't sleep, why didn't she call LE, express her concerns (even if she didn't tell them about the money. So what if she left out that big part of the equation, it would have only been a half-truth.) Officers could have been watching for her vehicle, checking her haunts, tracking her EZ Pass, something, anything to ensure that Caylee was safe. Of course we now know that she wasn't safe, but it would have nipped most of this BS in the bud.

I really am getting to the point that I despise the Ants and what they stand for. Which is probably quite different from what they think they stand for.

Omigosh. So many conflicting reports. Rowe does and doesn't give a rat's patoot about the kids. Rowe never sees the kids. Rowe has regular visitation. Katherine Jackson files for custody alone. MJ couldn't stomach Joe's abusive tendencies, but died intestate without so much as naming a guardian. An attorney will present a will to the court.

This will go on forevah. And the bottom line could be that Michael Jackson may be worth more dead than alive and his advisors may have not encouraged him to make provisions for his children.

So for now, give the kids to the nanny!

IMO, they won't learn. It's easy when they are laying low, out of the public's eye, but once CA is confronted with a situation that isn't of her choosing or liking, then she becomes rude and indignant. She won't change. It's her nature. IMO

I usually switch the channel or the radio station when MJ stuff comes on. TMI once we get past the part where he died. BUT, one day I couldn't change the channel, so heard that Rowe hadn't decided if she wanted to go for custody, or perhaps continue as is--just be allowed visitation. That sounds like a good deal to me. Would be less confusing, I would think, if the kids were w/their grandmother.

Of course, since I don't listen to celebrity crap (my blood pressure is high enough without listening to their "problems" lol) I couldn't tell---are MJ's parents divorced? IMO, the kids could stay with their grandmother, but I don't think they need to be exposed much to their grandfather--I'd be afraid he would treat them like he did MJ. We don't need second verse, same as the first, you know?

Amy, I'm with you; there's just TMI out there, although I don't mind getting a good synopsis. (Yenta that I am!) The Jacksons are still married to the best of my understanding, but Katherine asked for custody and listed a different address from Joe Jackson. But NOOOOOOooooooooo Leroy wanted a cobbler made with pie crust and a lattice top. What you describe is what I call peach crisp and would have been my preference. But no. Okay. what I heard on JVM and NG is that Rowe played the surrogate for the oldest 2 with Michael's plastic surgeon's sperm and we do not know where the eggs came from. the youngest boy we have no idea on eggs, sperm and surrogate. Joe Jackson has been living in Nevada for a while. In his will from 2002 he leaves his children to his Mother. IMO sara

Casey Anthony case: 'Mommy's Little Girl' author defends title, book
Hal Boedeker | Sentinel TV Critic
3:06 PM EDT, June 25, 2009
Author Diane Fanning says she has heard from people who aren't happy that she has written a book about the Caylee Anthony case. "Mommy's Little Girl" from St. Martin's Press will be published in November.

Among the most-frequent complaints:

1. A book is premature before Casey Anthony's murder trial.

"Maybe we shouldn't have any news stories, either," Fanning said today from her home in Texas. "If it's wrong to do this, then it's wrong to have newspaper stories, magazine stories and TV reports. You can't wait on the vagaries of the justice system."

Fanning notes that her book on astronaut Lisa Nowak was released in November 2007 and that trial is set for December.

Fanning said when she agreed to write about Casey Anthony, who is charged with daughter Caylee's murder, the trial was set for January, then pushed to March. The earliest the trial could start now is next year.

"There is a point in the public world when things get in place and you can't stop that train," Fanning said. "It was supposed to be a post-trial book. This case is so different. There is so much available. Will I write a sequel? It's up to the publisher."

2. The Anthonys will profit from the book.

"A lot of people in the general public seem to believe to write a book like this, you have to purchase rights," Fanning said. "Not true. It's no more true of writers who work for newspapers. People make the assumption I put money in the Anthonys' pocket. It's not true, and it's not ethical. There were enough people to talk to. I could round out what was available from documentation."

3. The title is disrespectful to Caylee.

"Some people are upset by the title," Fanning said. "I didn't pick the title, but I thought it was a good title. No matter how horrendous a mother might be, that child is always mommy's little girl. Children love without any limitation."

The subtitle is "Casey Anthony and Her Daughter Caylee's Tragic Fate."

"She didn't have a long life," Fanning said of the toddler. "I couldn't fill the whole book with Caylee."

4. She is profiting off the tragedy.

"I'm making my living," Fanning said. "That's it. This is what I do to get my paycheck. I write books."

The Anthony saga is her 10th true-crime book, and St. Martin's Press is one of the most respected publishers in that field.

Fanning said readers should expect the Anthony discovery information presented in story form along with anecdotes about Caylee and other people connected to the Anthony family.

"There are stories and anecdotes that have never been published before -- not earth-shattering, but I think it adds another texture to the story," Fanning said.

Fanning started the book on the day after Casey Anthony was arrested in the murder in October. The author finished the more than 300-page work May 15.

The constant outpouring of documents made this book easier to write than others, Fanning said. "What was more difficult, I have never seen another case, except Lisa Nowak, where everyone had a lawyer and a publicist," the author said. "It's very strange to me, and it is odd to me that both cases happened in Orlando. I don't think it says anything about Orlando."

She also couldn't interview some of the major players, such as George and Cindy Anthony.

Fanning said she couldn't discuss her conclusion because lawyers are looking over the book before its publication.

"In all my books, there's an afterword, and I give my opinion," she said. "And it's there in this book."

But NOOOOOOooooooooo Leroy wanted a cobbler made with pie crust and a lattice top. What you describe is what I call peach crisp and would have been my preference. But no. So I made the thing to order and what did he do when I served him dessert? In bed no less?! He said he just had to have some sugar to sprinkle on the top. :flamemad::cuss::flamemad::cuss: And disarranged my baking cabinet to find it.

Ahhh peach cobbler-on my way...... I dont have a link by either heard/read that MJ's parents have not resided together for several years now. No mention of a divorce so i gather they are just gone their separate ways. MOO

Don't have a link either, but on the CNN program that comes on mid-afternoon it was reported that Katherine and Joe have not lived together in about 10 years. She lives at the family compound they are showing on tv. He lives in Las Vegas. I believe I had heard that somewhere before. So the kids should be safe at the compound, especially if Grace, the nanny is there.

This is interesting; that MJ owns/owned "the family compound" that we hear so much about. Maybe he had some sayso as to whom actually lived there:

Nancy Grace to feature Cindy Anthony in upcoming 2-part special

On the upcoming Friday and Monday episodes of Nancy Grace's HLN show, she will scrutinize Cindy Anthony, mother of accused murderer, Casey Anthony.

Cindy Anthony is no stranger to media and public scrutiny. She and her husband George have appeared on numerous television shows unabashedly supporting their daughter, Casey, accused of murdering their granddaughter, 2-year-old Caylee.

Casey is charged with killing her daughter and dumping the body, enclosed in trash bags, in a wooded area near the Anthony family home. Caylee’s skull was found with duct tape wrapped around the nose and mouth area.

Casey told authorities the last time she saw her little girl was around June 16, 2008, when she dropped her off with a babysitter. Police investigated Casey’s story, but found the babysitter did not exist and the address Casey had given them for the sitter was an apartment that had not been occupied for months.

Cindy Anthony contacted authorities to report Caylee missing when Casey could not produce her granddaughter for over a month.

Grace’s special is entitled, “Nancy Grace Investigates: Raw & Uncensored Cindy Anthony Caught on Tape!”

Hal Boedecker reports the show is billed by HLN as “a special inside look at the mother of accused killer Casey Anthony.” The two-part program will examine moments from Cindy’s deposition in the Zenaida Gonzalez defamation lawsuit against Casey. To see the complete video of Cindy's deposition, click here.

Part 1 is scheduled to air Friday and Part 2 on Monday. You can watch live streaming of both parts when they air, by clicking here.

Casey’s murder trial is tentatively scheduled for Oct. 12, but due to legal complexities, will likely be delayed until sometime in 2010.

Me either. I like the books I read to have the ending in the book. Some people like sequals (sp) I don't so much. I didn't buy nor read Catherine Crier's book about Scott Peterson that was written before the trial, either. I did watch a documentary that came out about the time he was arrested. And it contained even quite a bit of misinformation even then. And, in all the times it has been shown since, there is never any corrections, not even any updates on the case. So people are left with misinformation that years later they will still offer as fact. The authors could certainly start writing their books, gathering their information from the get-go of a case, but they should wait till the fat lady sings to publish it--hopefully with corrections to any misinformation found @ the first, and information that comes out of the trial, and, of course, the verdict and sentencing. But that's just me.

Exactly. We have all had access to the same documents she seems to include in her book. And we have all discussed the hundred different theories. And read the interviews, or even watched them on national tv of all the players except Casey Anthony. As they say--Out of the mouths of babes. It is so true. They see things simplistically, and probably most of the ills of the world COULD be solved by following how they see things, and their ideas of how to do it. We just get more complicated as we age, put too many variables in the equation. God forbid if we just came up with the simple and logical ways to take care of things.

I'm not exactly looking forward to becoming a grandma--but sure hope when the time comes, I am as lucky as Nawny to be close enough to have them over often--heck, maybe even babysit!!! At least that would mean my kids had doggone JOBS!!!! lol

Hmmm.... this is interesting. I wonder if NG was only allowed to ask certain questions.

The way I read the blurb, it seems NG will be using footage already in place of Cindy Anthony in various interviews and such. I do believe that, every time CA went on a show she provided a list of what COULD be asked, and if it wasn't on the list, don't even go there. From day one. I did notice in all the interviews she gave, if the host started asking any hard questions, Cindy shut down, going back to, I am only here to keep Caylee's face in the news. And I notice that NG has been out of grace w/Cindy Anthony for a long, long time. I can't remember when was the last time Cindy or George were on her program, or even how many times.

I think the second autopsy is "damage control." They want to continue to ride the gravy train or start back riding the gravy train and think that if his reputation is messed up by the knowledge of drug abuse the train will stop.

That's how I interpreted it. NG will likely splice together all the little video/audio moments we've seen of Cindy over the last year. What will be interesting is to try to get a better sense of when exactly Cindy turned into an obstructor, after initially telling police: I don't care about my daughter. All I care about is finding my grand-daughter.

Arak is scary. Bad memories here!

What can I tell you?

Good arak rocks.

So does Raki. I ordered Raki at a bar in Istanbul, and the bartender hesitantly told me, "you know, that isn't a lady's drink." I told him that I was from Israel and drank arak. He said, "Well, that's okay then" and poured me a double.

Didn't have the nerve to order the Turkish equivalent of a boilermaker: beer and arak chaser.

At least that would mean my kids had doggone JOBS!!!! lol

Ain't it the truth?!?!! My Little Love wants kid(s) and thinks he's ready as soon as he finds a suitable mother for the child, but he's a fgypsy; in grad school and travels back and forth across the country as a whitewater raft guide and ski guide.:confused: I'm thinking he should settle down, go to work, start a retirement fund, and get married. :hat:

Wait a minute. I'm an idiot. Just ignore my post. I need to start drinking!

I think we're all brilliant and observant. BUT you should still have a drink.

It's going to be interesting what tenor NG takes when it comes to Cindy. I'm hoping that the questions that we have about just when G&C went to the dark side will be answered. Agree with Sara that that rotten pizza fabrication stinks.

**WARNING OT***

I thought I'd put the warning in before I got verbally smacked! Just saw this and am scratching my head.

Why is this on fox news?? This doesn't seem like anything that news worthy. That is until I saw where. No one reported the smell and the cops just showed up. Then waited for search warrant. I'm sure I'm reaching here but my first thought was Haleigh??

This is about five hours south of where Haleigh went missing. From what I heard locally, the man who lives there had not been seen since, I think, last Thursday and he was reported missing.

lol! The unit director who was doing that disappeared for 3 days and said he woke up by the Dead Sea, no idea how he got there! Could have been an alibi for heaven know's what, but that is some strong stuff. Tastes so nice, but huge kick! The Israeli team just pointed at us and laughed. They could have warned us, lol!

Now that we have heard just about every darn bombshell that could possibly be, I wish, just once ~

That every single thing that really should be addressed to Cynthia Anthony ~ be addressed! Enough of this crap! Time for the real questions, and will NG do it? Nah. Certain 'media' types are still babying the grandparents because of their loss, and it won't look right. The only one who addressed anything close was Morgan. Meanwhile, they have done irrepairable damage by not being truthful (the dog/cindy brush), lying about the stealing, etc, etc...LE has gone around in circles at times because of these three.

Time to send NG some e mails again to offer and/or suggest to ask the hard questions, and see what the Grinch will say once she is cornered.

Hey Cindy, if you had the nanny's addresss and number, why didn't you call her?
Hey Cindy, what do you make of Casey's newest tattoo, and why would Casey get that one after Caylee disappeared?
Hey Cindy, who had the fight with her, you or Georgie Porgie?
Hey Cindy...wanna buy a t shirt?...http://i39.tinypic.com/ayul8y.jpg

Yes little Libra... you and Gator helped. It was one thing I had not tried -- Auriculotherapy. I went again today to get some of RI's version of it and I told him to put the tacs in both ears this time because I was starting to panic. I took a few drags off poppa marlboro and I hate those.. but I was concerned because I wanted to smoke. It is so amazing.. I still can't believe it. I tried so very, very hard to stop for the past few years. Now, if I didn't' read these boards, I'd have never known about this. I took the CHantix for 6 months.. bad stuff.

I read an article about Chantix today and it talked about putting a warning on the drug because of the high rate of suicide and the psychotic reactions. Horrible!

Uh oh, this is not the anything board. I'm off topic. Lettuce anyone?
