Listen to the audio again. There's no right or wrong for her. She truly doesn't care about Caylee. When I heard her saying she was frantic because she couldn't find Caylee did you hear her voice crackle, waver even a little to show she was upset? The concern is just not there. It's so obvious she doesn't care about Caylee because she didn't contact authorities when she first went "missing".
All Casey could think about was how her mom would react.. GMAfreakinB

(not mad at you Sara - I'm only venting because Casey just infuriates me)
I know One2Snoop. I have the highest respect for you. My only point was if she gets off on mental illness it will be wrong. (my job used to be interiewing and telling the difference for lawyers). Not bragging. Just something I did for a long time and I am glad I am not doing it. I hope you don't think I am overbearing or know it all. She really does know and really does not care about anyone but herself. If and when she is in prison she would make a great study for female sociopaths for upcoming students. IMO

On NG they showed her lawyer going into the house and speculated that she could be re-arrested soon on the ten additional charges. So, maybe tonight was it. Baez had told LE he wanted to bring her in the last time but that they (LE) turned it into a circus. Maybe they'll let him take her in this time.
Well rose there were cop cars their tonight and my camera quit working and DH has control of the remote and we will not be viewing NG or GVS. IMO

Watching the re-cap of Nancy Grace - I'm learning alot tonight and really like her stand-in. Maybe its time for NG to retire LOL.
Anyhow lots of good questions being asked and one we discussed earlier today was about the dumpster/landfill. The person (producer) whose been on location and filling NG in on the latest just said the landfill had been checked. Interesting how it was kept hush hush until now.

yes they are deprived of morals. No one really knows if it is in birth or happens while they grow up. Like serial killers there is a belief there is not a bonding that occurs in the first couple of years of birth which is where it supposedly starts. Think of your serial killers. they knew what they were doing but did it anyways. In fact what if Casey had gone through with her plan and taken over the house and something awful happened to GA and CA. Maybe that is why the Chlorform search on the internet and they have a pool. I do not have any links One2Snoop but I would be happy to search for you if you want me to......................IMO

I did see on another MB that it was checked about the time Equuasearch was there. They are maybe the ones who checked I am not sure but I do know it was about that time. that is one of the reasons I am having a hard time with the communications with LE and media............IMO

Yes, and it was interesting how easily they were able to locate the spot where the trash from the Amscot dumpster was placed. Apparently, a lot of these trucks are now using GPS to track dumping grounds. I guess it's to help LE in these types of circumstances. Thank goodness for technology. Now if they could invent something a little more sophisticated than a waterboard to make Casey tell the truth. JMHO.

They may have been there to keep the peace. Apparently, the last couple of Friday nights have been pretty contentious between the pro and con groups of protesters. What insanity! I read somewhere that this case is an example of how our society is evolving into a society of people who aren't afraid to express themselves and get involved. I guess that's a good thing. JMHO.

I think you're right. IIRC she said she was petrified by her mom's reaction to the news Caylee was missing. IMO, she was more concerned about her mom's consternation than what happened to Caylee. She may not know where Caylee is. Who knows what kind of shape she was in when she got rid of her. Didn't you think it was interesting how she said if she wanted to get rid of Caylee she'd just leave her with her mom and move out. She was real quick with that response. As though that one statement exonerated her from any suspicions. Sick girl, IMO.
I did think it was interesting. I thought that it must have been something she had already planned out to say. You know how sometimes you play conversations in your head? I think she must have planned to say this for a while. This is one excuse she came up for a while ago IMO.

Yes, Casey's attorney hired security guards.

Attorney Hires Guards To Keep Peace At Anthony Home
The bodyguards that escorted Casey Anthony, mother of missing toddler Caylee Anthony, out of the Orange County Jail the second time have been hired by Jose Baez, Anthony’s attorney, to keep the peace at the family’s East Orange County home.
The past two Friday nights have been chaotic with tension and emotions running between protesters and the Anthonys.

She sure did underestimate those detectives, LOL. They knew she was lying before she took them on a wild goose chase to Universal. They just wanted to see how far she would go. She went pretty far, IMO. I think that's when they realized what a pyscho b/i/t/c/h they were dealing with. I thought they did a great job questioning her. But it amazes me how detached she was through the whole process, like it was no big deal. I think Cindy might just get the mother of the year award if she beats the truth out of that liar. Who knows, maybe that's what the gun was for, a good ole fashioned pistol whipping. IMO.

Thank you that was very kind to welcome me. Yes i guess it must have gotten out of control at some point in the a.m. Seems this case gets everyone beyond frustration. Dont think i can recall a more bizzare one. How sad. Lets hope tomorrow will be the day Caylee is found.
Hi and welcome:seeya: I joined the IS board but never really got around to posting over there. I have seen some pretty wild posts so it doesn't surprise me that the mods closed it down to clean it up.
This is really a strange and very sad case. How does a mother lose her child for 31 days before letting anyone else know she has a major big problem? They say that all pathological liars build their lies around one tiny kernel of truth. Sadly, I think the truth is that Casey doesn't know what she did with Caylee. IMO, Caylee died because of Casey's actions. Casey panicked and got rid of the body. But, I think Casey did so in a state of mind like that of a black out drunk. She may have been drunk or on drugs but she may also have been in a frantic state of fear because of what her own mother would think of her. It was pretty clear from the interviews she fears her mother's opinion of her. IMO, she could have experienced a fugue state and really can't remember what happened with Caylee. Maybe it's just me and my upbringing, but I just can't believe that a 22 year old can be that cold-blooded and callous to lie about her little girl and not even experience a crack in her voice. Even when she was denying knowing where Caylee was she did so with such conviction that it was frightening to hear. Did anyone else notice or is absolutely Casey's favorite word? JMHO.

You know One2Snoop you bring up some good points. Again I apologize for the lateness of the hour and lack of links but Casey really is afraid of Cindy. She even states that. Makes me believe that both of them know Casey is a chronic liar. But on the other hand I think Cindy loved Caylee like a daughter and is playing a deep denial neurotic game with herself that she cannot control. so maybe the bond is posted because CIndy really is the biggest threat to Casey. Same goes with the arrests and threats of arrests. This is putting a lot of stress on Cindy more than anyone cause as she stated she lost one and did not want to lose another. And she is such an emotianally charged person she may go off on Casey or spill something she knows. it is more probably that she will spill if she knows anything than Caylee. Caylee will continue to lie till she is out of prison. IMO

I thought the tapes were very interesting. I would luv to know if it really was true when the LE stated to her that it was a lie when Casey said she dropped Caylee at the Nanny's outside the apt. on the stairs. LE said they reviewed a security tape and she was not on it. LE are allowed to make untrue statements as i am sure you's know during questioning. I truly hope they do have a security tape. I wish he would have asked a couple of other things-why drop her at a sitters when u have no job. Where did u go during these supposed babysitting hours. Also found it interesting she said she dropped her off at the Nanny's on the stairs outside the apt. I would have pressed it further. Was the nanny outside waiting, was this usual practice etc. etc. Not that i believe a word she says. I would have luved it if they really had pressured her by asking and pounding away for details to trip her up. Liars eventually forget all their lies when it gets detailed.
I remember you from the other board cause I have always liked that nic. I do not pay attention to her "script" because I always know it is going to change depending on the evidence. What scares me is that there will not be enough evidence beemeup. And she will do the fraud charges and be done IMO

I have no doubt they knew she was a pathological liar - but when it comes to a missing child, their grandchild, I don't understand why they would continue to cover for her? I can't see myself ever covering for my daughters wrong doings. I have teens and they've done wrong - and neither my husband or I have ever covered or made excuses for their decisions. They need to learn from their mistakes, IMO.
Simply said, Cindy bailed Casey out - even when she stole from her grandparents. I'm sorry but thats morally wrong IMO. Cindy didn't teach her daughter any morals whatsoever because she bailed her out at every turn. There's something seriously wrong with that. JMO

LOL about why George had the gun. And ITA, George should have known better. IIRC he stated to the media that the people who had Caylee were being watched and they knew it. Could that have been some sort of strange reference to the scrutiny on Casey or was he just doing the Anthony Lie Dance?
LHD - you're right. I read that Tony and Casey started dating mid- to late May and that he had met Caylee as did his friends. Her lies must have been pretty obvious and numerous for him to figure it out so quickly. Her parents know what she is. IIRC in one jailhouse call her mother told her she needed to stop lying. IIRC it was at that point Casey started to cuss at her. JMHO.

I thought the same thing about the security tape. They told her they reviewed them and that the apt management was required to keep them for X # of days and I thought to myself, wait a minute, she says she dropped the baby off on June 9th, it's July 16 surely that's more than a few days. I think they did make that up to try to shake her. But, IIRC, she didn't respond to that line of questioning. I wish they would've asked more questions. The second interview cut off and it didn't sound like it was the end of the interview so I don't know what else they may have discussed. Unfortunately, she lawyered up and they haven't spoken to her since.:flamemad: JMHO.

I admit I didn't read the 400 pages yet and I didn't read all the charging documents. Did she get charged on the original charges Cindy made against her? The first 911 call was made claiming Casey stole money and a car. After listening to the interviews I see why they could say she stole the car, it's still in her parent's name and the money belonged to the grandfather. I wonder if Cindy ever pursued those charges or if the county did. I can't believe that using Amy H's checks and cleaning her out of $700 could get her 50 years. That's a long time but not long enough to pay her debt for what she did to Caylee. JMHO

see and my opinion this is more games between casey, baez and le. Let us put more pressure on the Anthony family and see if something breaks. Even if she is convicted of the current charges does not mean should would serve that amount of time. I mean what else is the point? Arrest her and bond her out again? Sorry O2S I did not catch this until now. I am sure they are not done. I do not believe Casey's grandparents have entered into the charges yet. However as I have stated I am starting to think the charges may be part of a game. She cannot be recharged for neglect but we can keep charging her with finance crimes. yet she can be bonded out again and again. And even though the 10 charges equal 50 yrs she may not end up with that. I think LE is trying to make Casey,Baez and the Anthonys think with serious things to think about and some stress on the side. We also might be headed towards more wheeling and dealing. IMO

Simply said, Cindy bailed Casey out - even when she stole from her grandparents. I'm sorry but thats morally wrong IMO. Cindy didn't teach her daughter any morals whatsoever because she bailed her out at every turn. There's something seriously wrong with that. JMO
O2S I am not disagreeing but at this point i think Cindy thought of both Casey and Caylee as her daughters and she is in so much denial not wanting to feel the pain she is defending Casey. Just a thought. do not know about George and do not care imo

ITA and IMO, in Casey's mind she was no longer the favorite little princess in the house. Threw a little jealousy into the pyschopathic soup and you've got a recipe for disaster. It also wouldn't surprise me if somewhere down the line we find out that Cindy fueled those jealous flames by throwing out little jibes like "Caylee is such a pleasure, Casey you were such a handful." or "I hope Caylee doesn't grow up to lie and steal", etc. That argument on Father's Day when Cindy told Casey she needed to leave may have been about Casey leaving and Caylee staying. Who knows, they're all whacked, IMO.

What else can you do after a while but be sarcastic? This is the most bizarre case I have ever read in my life. I think there is a circus put on by Le, Media and Anthonys. There really may be a script but not the one Casey is talking about. People are going to make a fortune on this one. IMO

JMHO.
rose this is a wonderful post IMO. You may be right on. Part of me thinks someone else is involved probably cause I cannot face a mother did it.

And I thought this was all about Caylee:shrug: But you are correct, Casey's bizarre behavior during the first 31 days that Caylee was missing is what captivated people. It is still so hard to reconcile all the photos and videos of a loving mother and child with the hard b/i/t/c/h who refuses to cooperate with LE to find her baby. It's like, WTH snapped? Casey is playing a very dangerous game of cat and mouse with LE and the media and she's loving every minute of the attention. IIRC, Ted Bundy also enjoyed the media's attention after he was captured in FL. He always had a smile for the cameras. JMHO.

This case should focus on what happened to Caylee but since her mother is a sociopath she has managed to get a huge amount of attention-not necessarily good attention. People need to focus on the missing child but with all the other stuff going on, like book deals, paying for videos, Casey scooting out to the atty's office for 6 or 7 hrs a day when she should be in jail, etc. has captured the attention of the public---it's a really whacky case!!! Who is normal in that family???? nobody ! I just hope that the LE gets enough to convict that sociopath who was a poor excuse for a mother. Time is on her side; and it has been from the beginning. It just infuriates me that she had all that time when nobody wondered where Caylee was. It does seem a little strange that Cindy did not make more overtures to at least see Caylee during that time. If it were my grandchild I wouldn't have been able to let that amount of time go by without seeing her or at least talking on the phone. And there is no doubt that Cindy loved Caylee. Just as an aside, I recently became a grandmother. Unfortunately, my son and wife live miles away but you can rest assured as she gets older and can talk, there will be many phone conversations in addition to trips.
Wow, the thing that shocked me from watching NG last night, was that detective they were talking to. Before these tapes came out, I read the 400+ pgs. of it. I didn't catch what he mentioned.....how Casey was talking in past tense about Caylee - like she use to love to go to the park, etc.
Doesn't that say it all!

From what little we know about what goes on in the Anthony home, it doesn't appear that any of them are "normal". You have Cindy comparing the smell of decomp with rotten pizza and alleging someone in the tow yard put someone else's body in the trunk:rolleyes: You have George claiming to know who has Caylee and stating they are being watched, yeah, OK. You have Lee playing amatuer detective on a jailhouse call with Casey and then, just yesterday, almost plowing down 3 protesters, 2 of them children, with his Mustang. Note to Lee - that will get you jail time if you hit anyone. I would categorize this family as dsyfunctional, not normal by any stretch of the imagination. JMHO.
Just thought of something else. As u can probably tell, I personally think Cindy knows what Casey did. At first during the 911 calls, she didn't but she sure has known for quite so time now....So as Cindy stated many times, Caylee is a good mother. I really believe Cindy loved Caylee and was trying to give her the love and affection most people believe children need and she knew her daughter would not be a "model mother" After the month or so that Casey was gone and Cindy called the police, etc. and after a certain period it occurred to her that Casey was at some level connected with the missing Caylee. Maybe Casey actually told her what happened. Now what does she do? Caylee is gone for good; her daughter might be found guilty of murder and Fla has the death penalty.....
She tries to protect Casey. And there may be guilt that she had something to do with Casey and Caylee leaving for the month. Second guessing herself that she should have sent Casey packing and kept Caylee in a nurturing environment with her. I think the probability is high that Cindy knows her daughter is implicated-not sure if she knows exactly what Casey did.

Casey spending so much time in Baez' office? I can't believe that LE or even her family won't publicly say "Hey! Get off your ass and tell us what's going on!"
I live in Ohio, but I will say that IF I lived down anywhere around Orlando, I would be doing some research and visiting Baez' office and finding a place for a bug or spy-webcam or something. Illegal or not!
Can LE bug his office if they suspect that she's talking about what happened? Probably not...
It seems somewhat asinine to me that the judge would put Casey under house arrest with C&G and then order them not to discuss the case, but I'll assume that may be one reason that she spends so much time at Baez's office.
I hope and pray that LE doesn't do anything harebrained or illegal to get information that wouldn't be admissible in court; fruit of the poisonous tree and all.
I'm more than a little confuzzled about why LE released the interview tapes to the public. What purpose do they serve other than to shrink the jury pool? And I do think the detectives talked too much. Sometimes silence is more conducive to getting a suspect to spill than constant reiteration. That's not a blanket criticism. I know they must be tired and frustrated and thank them for their tireless efforts.

Silence can certainly be very powerful. I think that might have worked against Casey, seems like she is a talker. Silence in a small room with people watching you would become incredibly tense, she would probably have started blabbing all kinds of things in an effort to fill the void. Could have been interesting, could have been productive possibly. It's a shame they didn't try that tactic, it's definitely a lost opportunity.
Although in their defense they probably don't come across people like Casey very often, if ever. Maybe they will learn different interview skills for people devoid of conscience.

:)I agree Woostock. She said honestly many times over.:cuss: She doesn't have an honest bone in her body.
I think the LE are taking their time to do everything right, that may be why they called off all the forsenic testing as Baez asked. Probably not because he asked, but because they knew what he was up to by being prepared to try and threw out a lot of the results from the tests when they go to trial, because he would have said they may have been tainted. So they know the results show the witch as having Caylee's decomposed body in her car -- so let Baez send in his experts to test.

I wonder what Cindy thought she did for "work" ; since she needed a baby sitter/nanny she must have worked, right???? How in the world could Cindy not have known that Casey did not have a job. This family can have the psychoanalysts perplexed!!! What a family...nothing in that family makes sense! I guess we will have to wait for the trial to get some of our answers; but the most compelling answer is the location of Caylee; which, unfortunately, we may never know.

It's so very hard to know what was actually going on in the Anthony household but I have to wonder about their definition of love. It seems to me that Cindy's love may have been suffocating and controlling, at least where Casey was concerned. I'm not sure what it was where Caylee was concerned. That is true. It's most likely a learned behavior and speech pattern. IIRC, Casey has always lived with her parents, she learned at their knees. Most of us pick up speech patterns in that way. I don't recall reading or seeing anything about the date that Cindy met with a counselor. I would assume it was probably right after Casey stole the money from her grandfather's health care fund - that's pretty low. Apparently it disturbed Cindy enough that she did seek counselling, but I do think she used it as a hammer over Casey's head rather than an actuality. IMO, if Cindy sincerely sought custody of Caylee, Casey never would have had the opportunity to leave the house with her alone and we wouldn't be here discussing one of the most disturbing cases I've ever seen. The other night on NG one of the LE experts stated that he wouldn't be surprised in the least if the Anthony house was bugged and that every keystroke Casey made was monitored under Title III. He sounded pretty sure of himself and NG seemed to agree. NeJame said the Anthonys didn't care if their house was bugged because they have nothing to hide. There's obviously more to this issue than I know and I haven't even looked up Title III LE entitlements so I don't know what it means. Rose, I'm clueless about legal wiretaps.
But I have to wonder, despite the inadmissability of lie detector tests in court (for instance), if the Anthonys have nothing to hide; why didn't they take one? Just for the sake of establishing parameters.
Oh, and I also wonder about the Anthonys refusing to provide Caylee's personal items for search purposes. LE has her car seat and backpack, right? So they could use those. But is there some reason that the Anthonys don't want those items compared to Caylee's items from the home (and chosen at random by LE)?

I'm clueless also about wiretaps on civilians involved in criminal cases. I understand national security issues but not this. IIRC, the Anthonys initially agreed to a lie detector test and then after discussing this with their son, Lee, they said no. Why? I have no clue, I can only speculate that he advised them that their doubts about Casey's guilt might come through. Why didn't they provide Caylee's clothing for the search purposes is anyone's guess. Maybe they're more culpable than anyone has suspected or maybe, like their attorney says, they are in such deep denial that by giving those items to LE they would feel as though they are admitting Caylee is gone for good. IMO, these people are torn between finding Caylee and defending their daughter. It must be a horrible position in life, but that's where they're at. They're damned if they do and damned if they don't. JMHO.
It's hard not to be suspicious of all of them. Lee included. I understand (to a degree) that C&G don't want to admit that Caylee may be dead. And my understanding is that cadaver dogs don't need a sample to search for her, but providing Caylee's belongings would give have given bloodhounds a trail to compare to Casey's story and her timelie. Oops Timeline.
So maybe that's the issue.

A re-run of an earlier episode of NG is on here and LP is making me sick. He really turned when he didn't get what he wanted. IMO, anything he says needs to be taken with a half grain of salt. JMHO but he's not an honest man.
Nope I had high hopes in the very beginning but he is kind of like Casey. Every time he opens his mouth I believe less and less and less. Too bad. He may be good as a BH but people person he is not!!!!!!!!!! IMO

On the other hand Loretta LE has tons of evidence with Caylee's odors on it. they took a lot of things from the house and found in the car was her doll, car seat, back pack and toothbrush. So I remain confused about many things here............. IMO

HAH! I stay confused! So okay, the Anthonys don't want to admit that Caylee is dead and they refuse to help with a cadaver search. Why not help with a live search?
No excuse that I can fathom. LE can use the items found in the car that are presumed to have been in contact with Caylee. Would items taken at random elicit the same response from bloodhounds?

Loretta to a certain extent I agree. It's so easy to be suspicious of the Anthony family but I have to dig a little deeper and wonder why. They are in denial, to a certain extent. I imagine they all feel a great deal of guilt at what happened to Caylee and I do believe they know she is dead and that Casey was the cause of this death. They are rallying aroung Casey because to do otherwise would be to admit their own cupability in Caylee's death. They all allowed Casey, the cold blooded, callous person to live amongst them for her entire life, they catered to her, they nurtured her psychopathic personality by not confronting it. It must be devastating to them to realize that taking the easy road led to the death of this innocent little baby. IMO, the entire Anthony family needs to be taken to task for this tragedy, not just the emotionally stunted psychopath they call a daughter. This type of thing just doesn't happen in families where there is true love and caring, IMO. JMHO.

Sara, hope all is well! I agree. Everytime that idiot opens his mouth his credibility is shot. But hey, he has a realtity TV show coming up. I just can't stand him anymore. I also agree that LE has enough "scent" evidence from the car to tracK Caylee. IMO, it's just too hard to do if you don't know where to start. Mom, Casey, hasn't provided them with that information and she won't, IMO.

Good points and way too logical for this case. IIRC, LE never really brought dogs out to search for an alive Caylee. Where would they start? Casey was never really forthcoming about that information. IIRC, LE came out with the cadaver dogs, I don't know if they can track a live human being and Casey certainly didn't provide enough information to give them a ground zero. I think we're all confused. The Anthony's keep on pleading with the public to search for a live Caylee but they refuse to help by providing those few bits of clothing that can get things started. IMO, they realize the effort would be fruitless, they know precious little Caylee is dead. JMHO.

LE would start with the information that Casey gave them. They may not be able to prove where Caylee was or is, but they could prove where she wasn't according to Casey's story(ies).
Just can't help but think and/or hope that there is plenty that they've ascertained that no one knows about and won't know until Discovery.

I wouldn't be surprised if LE has a lot more than they are sharing. It will come out in discovery. Let's hope they will have enough! It's a tough case; and they have their hands full dealing with a sociopath. I don't imagine Casey will ever say much more; with sociopaths it's all about them.Casey is concerned about Casey. Right now she goes back and forth between parent's house and her atty's office......And she is a very accomplished lier....been doing it all her life.
I don't hold out any hope for her nor her family coming out with valuable information that would once and for all result with finding Caylee. Casey's parents won't even give LE a piece of Caylee's clothing....that tells a lot

Welcome Bentnotbroken :seeya: From what I understand about the psychic being under investigation was due to the fact that (someone) allowed her and her team to use their cc for a hotel stay for 3 nights. The person is saying that she stayed longer and continued to use their cc for up to $2,000.00 without permission. Psychic stated that she didn't and was on her way home.

I just saw a screaming match on tv with Cindy and 1 of the protestors. Couldn't really hear much clearly, but protestor called Casey a baby killer and Cindy started screaming at her. IMO, I have heard people ask, why isn't the family out on the searches looking for Caylee, dead or alive.....well let's all be honest and realistic ---- just picture George, Cindy and Lee out in the fields, as one of the searchers - do you really think anything would be accomplished that day ----everyone would be screaming and fighting and name calling, etc. :cuss: Believe me, I am not sticking up for them in NO way. Good post. I think that if the Anthony's were out there searching from day one this might not be happening. As a mother and grandmother I would be doing everything to clear myself and out there day and night looking for my child/grandchild until she was found. I would be using the media to assist and not make them the enemy. I think the Anthony's actions speak volumes. There were some things that were said theat make me think they know or had a hand in the cover up.
George saying that the dead body in his daughters car was not his granddaughter. To me he is admitting that there was a dead body in the car so who was it.

What are the chances by now of ever finding a body? In the beginning, I hoped and prayed that if she were dead that at least the body would be found. Now I can't imagine that happening and I shudder to think of the alternative. It makes me sick to my stomach. I think the case will go forward without a body ever being found. Iwould imagine that the LE will do their best--the facts so far are so compelling that justice for Caylee is paramount.

Good morning, Woostock! I hope you are having a wonderful Sunday!
I guess it will all depend on how Casey disposed of Caylee's body. LE had advised the searchers to look for garbage bags and a rug. IMO, if Casey sealed Caylee's body in a bag and it stayed sealed, LE maybe able to recover her remains intact. But I think it will also depend on where she put Caylee. If she disposed of her in those alligator waters I don't think she'll ever be found. All the flooding down there recently certainly will make it more difficult to locate a tiny little body like Caylee. It makes me sick to my stomach to think of poor little Caylee out in the elements decomposing while her cold blooded b/i/t/c/h of a mother enjoys meat lover's pizza:flamemad: Don't you wonder what goes on in Casey's head? Does she ever think about the living Caylee and what is happening to her little body now? It's beyond my ability to make sense of that creep but I don't know how she can sleep at night. JMHO.

She has been called a sociopath...by definition they lack empathy. I know what you mean. It actually makes me sick to think of poor Caylee and I try not to think that she was in a body of water in Fla. I agree with you that it's almost beyond imagining that a mother could do this to a child. She is beyond evil if in fact she did something like dispose of her daughter in the alligator infested waters.
My best guess is she will go to court not saying a word. She is out of jail and wants to keep it that way so will stall and stall. Casey is only interested in Casey. It's all about Casey and control. And as far as her parents are concerned, they need to do something to make her talk. d on't care how they do it . If they don't they are a piece of sh...... Tell her she's going back to the slammer. She has 10 min to tell the truth or will send her back...
My guess is she's been getting away with telling lies and creating chaos her whole life and the situation was either screaming matches between her and the family or the parents just looking the other way and letting her manipulate and lie.

Many people have said they believe Casey doesn't know where Caylee is. While listening to her interviews; everytime she is asked about Caylee she says she doesn't know where she is. She never says Caylee isn't dead. She never says that in fact Caylee is alive. She just always says she doesn't know where she is. She also said someone else had Caylee. SO what if something happened to Caylee be it accident or other and someone else was there when Casey found Caylee dead. What if Casey freaked out so the other person took Caylee to dispose of her. While the other person is gone Casey then tries to call her parents numerous times. She's calling to say hey something is wrong with Caylee and so and so took her. I don't know what to do. I have read that there is always a little kernel of truth in Casey's lies. I'm not saying this is what happened but it could have. JMO

Hey wait a minute, I remember seeing Cindy on tv telling one of the reporters and walking them thru the back yard, showing them where the dogs were searching and I definitely remember her, stating that she just (poured concrete or just redid her flower bed near the edge of the house) something along that line. OMG, do you think that is what Casey meant when she told her brother on the telephone from jail that her hunch was: I think she is close to home!!!! That statement always haunted me over and over again.

It may have been bricks, but when det. said the yard was cleared - did they actually dig up the bricks or slate or whatever? When the show was on, don't know which one it was, they showed the section that Cindy said she had recently done - it didn't look all dug up to me - unless she fixed it up after they dug it up. It may have been bricks, but when det. said the yard was cleared - did they actually dig up the bricks or slate or whatever? When the show was on, don't know which one it was, they showed the section that Cindy said she had recently done - it didn't look all dug up to me - unless she fixed it up after they dug it up. Well, exactly. That's why I don't feel that LE has necessarily remiss if they didn't dig up the entire yard. Modern archeologists use GIS to search without digging and potentially destroying finds also.

GIS, Geographic Information Systems, is a mapping software program. I think you mean GPR, Ground Penetrating Radar, which uses radar pulses to view the subsurface. The advances in this technology are phenomenal. The use of this technology does not destroy or disfigure the subsurface but does provide a "picture" of what is under the surface. JMHO.

No, I meant GIS (ohmeters, essentially). It's what my son the shovel bum and the other graduate students use in archeological field school. It has many other practical uses also. But thanks for the suggestion.

thank you 4u2 and rose for the friendly welcome. I sure will hope I can contribute to the forum. I was a senior member here, but my log in wont work, but thats prolly cos I havent logged in for so long. I was Lucygal, and mainly did the laci peterson forum here.
OK, what I think is happening in this case, is a LE attempt to cover evidence. Now, we all know they have enough circumstantial evidence that has been announced publically, its prolly enuff to send her to trial with that evidence alone. Ie, the forensics concluding chloroform, concluding decomposition (and LOL, its not from the pizza). They cant pin her yet, but they would have enough CE to trial her. So, why havent they yet? Its the same as scott peterson, he didnt get arrested until the bodies of his wife and son turned up. Its the same here, nothing will happen to Casey, until a body is found.
I am an advocate for victim of crime, having been thru it myself personally, and seeing a judge let off the killers of my best friend's son's murder because they were in their "prime of their life" and he gave them six months jail. Australia needs tougher laws. Now, I do know a lot about decomposition, I am a mortuary worker. My job is to go to crime scenes/ places of death, and retrieve the bodies and return them to the funeral home. I have been to hangings, road accidents, natural deaths, and murder victims. I have an obsession with justice for the victim, and trust me, so much gets hushed up. Lucy

pyschics annoy me too. Its not that I dont believe in them, but it is all bull****, wheres the evidence? Wheres the body? Where is the crime scene? Yes, we all watch medium and ghost whisperer, and in Australia, pyschic investigations. So, where is "Alison" where are the phschics proving now? Lets get in Alison Dubaiu (how ever you spell it)? Lets get them in on this case. Make Alison find Caylee. Send a letter to Alison, and see if she finds Caylee.

Hi Everybody:seeya:
I'm jumping ahead to the end of the thread and will go back and read the weekend's post later but I wanted to get this out there from WKMG news:
"A boater on Sunday discovered human remains near the Sharpes Ferry Bridge on the Ocklawaha River in Marion County.
The incident was reported at about 2:25 p.m. after the boater found partial remains on the water's edge, about 300 yards north of the bridge, Marion County sheriff's deputies said.
The identity and sex of the remains are unknown, and it's not known if the remains are that of a child or an adult,"
I heard this on the news this morning but nothing definitive. They said divers were going to to search. This is about 90 minutes north of Orlando and could very well be a dumping ground.
Some info on the Amscott - I went there Saturday but couldn't determine when they pick up the trash. The Amscott is open 24 hours a day which leads me to believe she didn't put anything in the dumpster. The Amscott is right next to the SAMS CLUB parking lot so there are many cameras facing in all directions and it wouldn't be a secretive place to hide something. If anything, there is a Sushi restaurant near by which has many large trees and a dumpster. This place is more hidden.
More economic charges are going to be filed against Casey - there are still three checks which LE hasn't prosecuted on yet.
Also - drove they the house on Saturday morning at 10:30 and there were no protestors or any disturbances. Why the family waits until the protestors are there to come out of the house and do their yardwork is beyond me. With one hand they pull the media towards them and with the other hand they push them away.

The Homeowner's association has requested an injunction from a judge to prohibit the protestors from congregating in front of the Anthony's house and having to move to an empty lot located at the far end of the street. They can protest legally as long as they don't have 100 people or more, then they need a permit. If the judge grants the injunction, I am wondering if that would also cover the vigil attendees on Sunday night since that is also an intrusion on the neighbors. We're supposed to find out today if the judges okays the injunction.

Hi,
I found this website when I became involved with a suspect in the Morgan Nick case who matches the suspect sketch and is surrounded by suspicious behavior and much more. There is all this circumstantial evidence that points to this suspect, but Morgan has never been found. I am just about positive that this man I know is the same man in the sketch of Morgan Nick's case. Should you be interested, please come and read her thread here and my posts to get an idea of how similar these two cases are in the fact that there is no body to prove a homicide. I am just a regular person who happened to meet this suspect by chance. I am so very frustrated that there is nothing that can be done about him because of having no body or any other certain evidence. It really makes me feel disheartened in the Caylee Anthony case because we may never find out where she is, just like Morgan Nick. And therefore, no matter how suspcious or how much circumstantial evidence there is, the guilty person goes free. It is such an injustice to these children. As I have posted in Morgan's thread today, THERE NEEDS TO BE A DIFFERENT CRITERIA FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT WHEN DEALING WITH A MISSING CHILD. It is safe to assume that toddler's this young cannot just decide to leave. Therefore, they are probably not missing! They have surely met up with fowl play from a predator of some sort!! If not dead, then they are surely being held against their will. I hate to see this case end up like Morgan's has: missing and unsolved for 13 years!!!! What a travesty! Isn't there anything that can be done in revising the perimeters of law enforcement when the case involves a child that young? We need to seriously look at the laws in these cases again. Something needs to be done because too many dangerous predators are on the streets. Sos

Hi O2S! Yeah, I watched NG and it ticked me off when she cut Padilla off. Apparently there's some connection between LR, WW and ZG inre the bogus application filled out at the Sawgrass. Apparently, they are go betweens or something like that between Lee and Casey. Who knows. Melich is flying to CA on Thursday to interview the Padilla's staff and to try to talk to MH, the marine that Casey spoke to at length on June 29. There's some talk she was planning on taking off to be with him. JMHO.

thank you 4u2 and rose for the friendly welcome.
Lucy
Lucy I am very sorry about your best friend's son. That has to be very frustrating. I also did your job when I was on an ambulance but we always went to a morgue. I believe LE and the Prosecutor are doing everthing they possibly can to prevent double jeopardy. There are things that do not add up and I know LE is holding on to some information.........IMO

ITA that this case seems surreal. I haven't seen Geraldo weigh in on any of this so far, but would have liked to see the episode that was pre-empted or kiboshed or whatever.

Hi, I have been reading these threads for a while now, and want to thank you all for the updates. I was in USA when this first came to light. Back home now, and I have not heard anything about this case on Australian News, unlike the Maddy McCann case was all over the world. Can someone tell me why that psychic is under investigation please? I cant seem to download videos. I hope they find Caylee soon, Im worried without a body, lil miss dumbarse physco woman might get away with this.
this is exactly another problem we have BentNotBroken. If Caylee has been put outside somewhere hidden it is more than probably there will be no evidence of cause of death. Unless maybe she was wrapped in something tight to keep out oxygen and animals. I think it will be more helpful at this point is if someone knows something could come forward. Casey had a month over LE on this.......... IMO

P.S. I'm Gatordog because my dog is named Gator and he's going to be 13 years old and he's been critically sick twice. I've slept on the floor with him when he couldn't walk, I would wake up in the middle of the night to give him medicine. I took vacation days to stay with him so it just makes me wonder how can anyone drug their child or dump their body? How can a mother be so callous as to not call 911 when her child is sick or missing?
yes trolls are nasty. I always put them on ignore. I am sorry about your dog. Have you thought of his picture as an avatar?

GRACE: Out to Leonard Padilla, bounty hunter from California who first helped Casey Anthony get out behind bars, then came off that bond, the sound we just played a few moments ago where police confronted her about pointing to an apartment and being able to say, well, she also lived there. It`s an old folks` home.
And my question is, even if there really is a Zenaida Gonzalez, which there`s not, that she left the baby with, if that were true, why would she tell police the wrong address for the woman?
LEONARD PADILLA, BOUNTY HUNTER, HELPED PUT CASEY ANTHONY BACK IN JAIL: Well, the -- reason she took them and told them about Apartment 210 is because she has friends that live at 218. There`s also another thing that`s very interesting. That just came up here in the last week.
There is a William Waters that works at a restaurant down the street from where her boyfriend Anthony lives, and somebody linked Zenaida Gonzalez, who was the one that filled out the application at the Saw Grass Apartments.
GRACE: Saw Gras Apartments.
PADILLA: They linked her through a Laura Rose, trying to make it look like she had communication with Lee and Casey through William Waters. I don`t know exactly what that means, and I don`t know if law enforcement has checked that out. But, obviously, it was a ruse to see...
GRACE: Leonard, you have been in the home. I believe that Cindy and George are getting these tips. Are they?
PADILLA: No. No.
http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0809/15/ng.01.html
 Well this is certainly interesting - from David Lohr's latest update...
"I am out of the loop right now as far as what other outlets are covering; however sources here tell me that detectives removed potential evidence from George Anthony's vehicle early this morning. The evidence was allegedly removed from the wheel well, although some sources are saying the spare tire area. I'll try to provide more information on that later."

First, thank you for asking about Gator, he is doing great.
Now, to the latest on the local news. The bond should be $1250 but the news reporter said that perhaps the judge will deviate from the guidelines. There was no activity at the house last night - IMO this should tell the Anthonys to leave her in jail. It's possible she may be released at night instead of during the day.
The family of the young boy who hurt his arm is now under investigation by the Department of Children and Families. The news channel had filmed the license plate and turned the film over to LE.
You may be aware of a 12 year old girl who had formed a close bond with Cindy in the early weeks of the case. The girl had formed a prayer vigil on her own for Caylee. Well, when the news came out about the DNA and that Caylee was dead, the little girl had a collapse and had to be put in the hospital for stress. When Casey got out of jail she started emailing the girl and Cindy kept in contact even though the child was not strong enough to handle the situation. Well the child's grandmother requested Cindy not contact her anymore and Cindy refused and kept emailing the girl. The grandmother tried to get a restraining order to keep them away from the girl but the judge refused it. I hope this isn't another young life ruined by Casey and Cindy. :(

Reading the police interview transcripts and listening to them, a couple of things occued to me:
-It seems SO obvious that she is lying (duh!)
-Most say that a liar speaks with bits of the truth. If this is the case, read into what Casey says (I haven't heard anyone bring this up - and note that my quotes may not be exact):
-"I don't know where she is" - Well, maybe she doesn't, if she put her in a dumpster, or wherever. Maybe she knows where the physical body is, but (assuming she's religious) doesn't know where 'Caylee' is.
-"I haven't seen my daughter since June 9" - Well...the 15th, but duh...
-"I left her with someone I thought I trusted" - She's talking about herself.
-"It terrifies me that I may never see her again" - That Caylee is in heaven, and Casey may go to hell?
-"She's with someone else" - God?
Any others?

I'm sure you all watch Nancy Grace as she has been great in covering this story. I think it's great she covers stories like these that are so important even when there are other things going on. Anyway, I noticed that Mr. Padilla seemed to say a few names and mentioned some sort of tip. It almost seemed to me like he has said something he had not intended to say. And it was almost like they knew it and quickly switched over to Casey's interrogation tapes. Maybe I am crazy, but it almost seemed like he "accidently let info out of the bag". I'm sure the police and others involved in this investigation are not going to say everything they know. He had this look on his face and so did Nancy when he spoke of the alleged babysitter and a few other names. Did anyone else notice that, or is it just my imagination?

Yeah, I noticed it, but felt that Nancy cut him off as that's not where SHE wanted to go. She did that a bit before that when there were a couple defense attorneys mentioning that Casey was not mirandized before the taped 'interrogations'...though I don't think she was, I also don't think she needed to be. LE are recorded saying that the door is open, you're free to leave whenever you want...
I wonder if the media is bending to LE where/when needed? The Geraldo thing, which I don't entirely understand, and NG cutting off Padilla...you know? "Let's not go there because LE doesn't want this out"?

Yes Cindy being the adult is more than capable of stopping the interraction with a child. She could even politely tell her that she appreciates her support but the relationship needs to end. The grandmother of the girl says Cindy is coming in between her and the girl by writing a text that states "I love you. Give your mom time." This is confirming that Cindy knows that the grandmother believes Caylee is dead. Yet she is still talking to this child and giving her false hope that Caylee is alive. She is causing hostility between the grandmother and the child. Cindy should be adult enough to know her limits. If the grandmother is asking for Cindy to stop talking to her child, then Cindy needs to stop. Hopefully now that Cindy knows the woman tried for a restraining order she will stop. If infact she is like Casey though she won't stop and will instead keep talking to her as a haha you can't stop me type of thing. Oi, this whole family has problems.

Casey about to bond out
11:15 a.m. Casey Anthony's attorney Jose Baez spoke with the media outside the jail after his client's first appearance. He blasted the sheriff's office for stringing out all the check fraud charges over several weeks. He said investigators arrest her on economic crimes when news about the case quiets down.
"We all know they knew of these charges," he said. "And I think we are seeing the games that are being played. The news for you guys is I'm not intimidated - not in any way, shape or form."
He criticized the way law enforcement officials have leaked information, such as air samples that show a decomposing body was in Anthony's car trunk along with traces of chloroform. He has not had a chance to examine these findings.
"You just can't believe every leak you hear," he said. "It's not evidence until it comes in court."
Baez said he has prepared his client and she will not give in to the "intimidating tactics."
"Unless they are going to take her out back and beat her behind my back, we are not going to get intimidated," he said.

If infact she is like Casey though she won't stop and will instead keep talking to her as a haha you can't stop me type of thing. Oi, this whole family has problems.
If I were the grandmother I would either find another judge, see if the IP provider could block her or (what I would do) respond to Cindy from that email address never letting her know it wasn't the child. Cindy could get excited because I'm sure by now she needs an outside outlet and see if she incriminates herself or Casey. All the while forwarding all emails to LE for clues. JMO They need all the help they can get to take build a case and Cindy is an idiot, she might leak things.

I hadn't even thought of that. That's a great idea. I was thinking what I would do is take the cell phone from the girl and forbid her to use the computer until this is over. Your idea is much better.

She can stop it from her end if she really wanted to by changing her email address and phone number or use caller ID and not answer the phone when she calls. I wonder if they thought of that.
She probably has tried to change the email address but possibly the girl herself might be contacting Cindy to let her know the new address. You know how kids can be, they don't believe someone else knows what is best. Once the grandmother asked Cindy to stop the communication with the girl, she should have honored the request. The girl has formed a very strong attachment to Cindy which is not healthy, since it has already put her in the hospital with a breakdown. She doesn't seem to have a mother and her grandmother is the guardian so perhaps a younger woman, like Cindy, has replaced her mother in her mind. The girls has been on TV quite a few times and appears to be a very loving and caring girl.

Update - Judge refused to grant the injunction to the homeowner's association.
Also - LE from Orlando is now traveling outside of Florida to check leads. Another waste of our tax dollars but I guess in order to stop the parents and now the attorney from saying they are doing nothing about leads, it has to be done.
JMO - thought about the the possibility of the body being put in a trash bag and I don't think this happened. If there is the evidence of hair and the bodily fluid stain, this would have been contained in the bag and not in the trunk of the car. The plastic bag would have protected the body from rapid decomposition and I think she wanted it to be gone ASAP. Also I think she is spending so much time at the attorney's office because he is coaching her for her questioning by the D.A. He is probably trying to teach her how to have some sort of emotion and maybe a tear or two. Those tears would turn into ice cubes with her cold demeanor. What a beast she is. Maybe that's an insult to animals. After all most animals care for their young.

THAT'S why she spends so much time at Baez'! He's hired a method acting coach to tutor Casey, but it's not going well! They're setting up this defense fund not to pay Baez (he's a cut-rate attorney) it's to pay the acting coach!
"Okay Casey, your motivation is this: Think of how you'd feel if you were locked up in prison for the rest of your life...never able to go club-hopping...no stripper poles...never touching a man again - nevermind four in one week! That would make you want to CRY, right? You wanna cry? Cry! CRY! CRY!!!"
"Baez...this isn't working...she couldn't act to save her life!"

Is this the part you're referring to? We have links for all the news updates and Nancy Grace transcripts in the "New Updates Thread".
No.
Appears to be something to this after all - will post more in a bit.

This case is so disgusting. The sociopath is out again and will be at the atty's office from 10 to 4. I haven't heard about any searches lately but I have just about given up on the body being found. This case gets right into your heart. That poor sweet child and a sociopathic mother and morons for grandparents.
And to think that piece of slime was able to keep the disappearance of her daughter for a month or more. I guess there is a part of me that finds that hard to believe. There are things in this case that just don't compute----Casey had no job, where did her parents think she was going every day. Wouldn't they have a phone number for the "nanny" incase of an emergency...it's all very fishy.Looks as if her girlfriend finally saw the light after Casey used her blank checks after she borrowed the car....Some friend Casey turned out to be.

thanks applesandorange and One2Snoop for listening. there are some strange things about it. I can see 15 minutes of fame but he kept repeating "if you need to talk or anything". Just wierd but I have to think that LE is looking into all this kind of stuff. IMO

I have been wondering for awhile now how Casey was smart enough not only to get rid of a body but to get rid of a body and get away with it. I'd like to know how she is smart enough to get away with what few do. I don't think she's that smart. Someone would have to provide that kind of info for her to follow. It takes someone knowledgeable to know how to dispose of a body, keep it hidden for a month so evidence would deteriorate to a point nothing could be proven except a death. Of course this all hinges upon a body being recovered.
Casey Anthony doesn't know that much on her own. IMO

Maybe I'm jaded, but I don't think any of these folks do anything accidentally. Accidentally on purpose maybe. ;)
