I watched the video and thought. Maybe after this George will realize he's not above the law. I wonder what Cindy would do without George. IMO she would fall apart.
I try hard never to wish bad things on people, but maybe not having George around would be a good thing, for Caylee's sake?

I don't wish bad things on good people. Now bad things on bad people is a different story. Anyway this guy did it to himself. Nobody set him up for anything. He does bad things so bad consequences happen. JMO. I don't see how George going to jail could hurt this case any. Maybe make Cindy realize what is important and see that just as Casey hurt Caylee, her lies are continuing to hurt people and even send other family members to jail. I mean she could easily stop this circus as everyone else has said. Her continued lies are the reason why there are protestors in the first place.

You are too kind. It's every bit as bizarre as the Anthonys' behavior.
After I wrote that I wanted to add - I thought it was totally inappropriate what those people were doing but the time on editing my post was up.
I think long and hard about how I would react in a situation like this and I honestly can't say and can only hope and pray I'm never in those shoes, ever.
As far as the spectators go, as scuba posted above, it's disrespectful IMO.
The whole lying thing with Casey is bizarre to me and Cindy even knows how much she lied, yet she still believes Caylee is alive. I'm sad for Cindy that she won't accept reality and thats what really bothers me about this entire situation. I have teens, they've lied and been caught time and time again. They both are now to the age where they know better than to lie simply because they were lousy at it and got caught just about everytime. Appears to me Casey became a mastermind at it - so very sad for little Caylee.
Cindy, it's too late now, but you should've let Casey put Caylee up for adoption or adopted her yourself. WOULD'A, SHOULD'A, COULD'A :(

I am really upset thinking that all these people are out in the woods, in this hot hot weather looking for a baby that her mother hopes nobody finds. All she needs to do is tell the truth and the search will be over for good

ITA 4U2. I believe it was reported 3 people went to the hospital yesterday because of heat related conditions during the search.
Welcome to Crime Library. :patriot:
Thanks onetosnoop. I just got done reading the 423 pg. legal documents about the case http://www.orlandosentinel.com/media/acrobat/2008-08/41844520.pdf and boy are there more confusing issues in there.
First off, I will bet she is lying about Caylee's father - bull about a car accident. I'll post what I mean in a little bit.

I also think she's lying about the whole who is Caylee's daddy situation. Anxious to here more of your thoughts. I'm signing off for the night but will check in tomorrow. Have a good night everyone. :seeya:
First off, Det. ask her, "what about the baby's Dad's parents - would you have left her with them"? - her reply, "I haven't talked to them since we were probably 6 or 7 yrs. old - since we were little kids"
OK, now in a swore statement her long time friend from Ryan P. who is going to school in Jacksonville, Fl - knows her a very long time. Det. ask him, do you know who Caylee's father is. He says, No not really, he was some transian random guy. Like a 1 night stand thing.
So.....ok what is wrong with this picture  IMO - if we went along with the story about some guy that got killed in a car accident driving to the babies 2nd birthday - wouldn't there have been a funeral and Casey would have seen and/or talked to his parents there - not when she said they were 6 or 7 yrs. old
Here is really something interested and bizarre - I read all of her friends statements and guess who were friends with her the longest - good friends, since they were like 5 or 6 yrs. old?
Ryan P. the guy in the above paragraph. Is that crazy or what? Could he be the Dad??

Did you hear the recorded phone conversations? I am wondering what they said. It seems the girl who owns the myspace page has since taken down the phone calls. I am very curious as to what Cindy said.
Hey guys, I went to look at the myspace page and it has been taken down completely? I wonder why they did that? Can anyone tell me what was on it please.

I wanted to repost odettes post that captured Casey leaving jail - that smirk of hers burns my :flamemad: you know what! Just as many of you have stated earlier - she could end this circus today and tell where Caylee is, anytime now! :cuss:
So now I can't multiquote (is this another board breakdown or is it just me?) and I do not know how to post a picture. :cuss:
I think Casey is guilty of killing her baby whether by malice murder or by accident. Not to defend Casey in anyway because I can't, but I'm wondering about the picture. Wish I could have re-posted it. Is that really a smirk? Could it possibly be a bit of a breakdown cry? It is sort of indistinguishable to me. I wonder if it's possible that some of this is getting to her. I know she cried in court, it wasn't anything to do with Caylee, but everything to do with getting caught. I wonder if it's possible that she might have cried with relief? It can't be that easy to be secluded for that length of time.
I wanted to quote 4u2's post about the father. (That's where the multiquote doesn't seem to be working for me.) If the fellow who died in the accident were Caylee's father I wonder if she would have gone to his funeral. I doubt he was the father. I do believe there would be no way to know who the father is.

Just a note on the chloroform and the confined space of the trunk of the car. Having worked with confined spaces (I'm a safety guy) the chloroform would be heavier than oxygen. It would displace the oxygen in the trunk by forcing it out of the trunk. This would create an atmosphere that had little or no oxygen in it. Now, this would happen over anywhere froma few minutes to an hour or more. The problem is, a rag with some chloroform would not, IMO, have enough on it to cause this to happen in a trunk of a car. Now, the chloroform would be toxic before the oxygen level got low enough to kill a person. The oxygen level would have to get down to less than 15% to cause a person that was not moving to die from lack of oxygen.
My thoughts, the chloroform was stored in that trunk with the dead body of Caylee while she was trying to get rid of evidence. If the bottle were leaking, that would be why there would be significant levels in the trunk AFTER it was opened for the length of time to do an investigation.

I have a question. If Casey used a sufficient amount of chloroform that it killed Caylee, wouldn't it stand to reason that there may have been burning around the nose and mouth area? Those areas would decompose more rapidly in the trunk and could explain those stain marks. JMO.
I also agree that she probably tossed the chloroform in the trunk with Caylee's body intending to dispose of any and all evidence. Good thoughts, deacon!

I have never been to Florida so this may very well be a stupid question but is the area around the airport where they are searching aligator country? if so I'm afraid the remains will never be found....Casey just doesn't seem to be the type of person who would go hiking just for the fun of it.....
Yes they are. What a damn shame

Probably not. I wonder if the liquid were body fluids. After death, the body will expell body fluids. You see, I think Caylee was dead when she was put in the trunk. I really doubt that she was buried and then dug up. I think she rode around in the trunk for some days until she could be disposed of.

I think she was and she was dug up again and Cindy helped her. The dogs made the hit in the backyard. She borrowed the shovel from neighbor. You don't really think she was digging up bamboo shoots, no way. She killed Caylee, buried her in backyard. After Cindy made frantic call to 911 - she didn't know anything about what happened. Later on Caylee told her (as Cindy had said: she does 1/2 lies and eventually always tell me the truth)Cindy panics and says, oh no - you idiot - better find a better place than that. They dug her up, put her in trunk (that's why they found dirt in truck)and found another place. Two sicko's that are the scum of the earth.

Here's another thing I found out from reading those 400+ pages of legal documents. Only think Cindy told truth about were those 1/2 lies that she said Casey tells. To me it means, she just takes 2 people or 2 names or 2 places that she knows and mixes them up together a lot of the times. For instance; Det. asked her: After you told us that your Nanny, Zeraida was the last person that had Caylee - did you tell anyone about it? She says yes. Two people - Jeffrey Hopkins and Juliette Lewis.
Det's found out NOT TRUE. Asked how she knows this friend J.H. she said she met him in Universal, but doesn't work there any more. Det. asks, when did he leave Universal - she said, about 9 or 10 mos. ago. WRONG - he got fired in 2002 (6 yrs. ago) Probably haven't seen him since then. She never told him anything.
Det's never found a Juliette Lewis that Casey said was her friend from Universal Studios that she told - no Juliette Lewis did they find in Casey Anthony's life.
But, did anyone know that Juliette Lewis is a movie star that was in Natural Born Killers???See Juliette Lewis isn't Casey's friend - but she more than likely - watched that movie - especially because her myspace pg. said she like American Psycho.(same category of movie IMO)
I see a pattern here. She also told Cindy that Caylee is probably in NY, the Carolina's or P.R. -- isn't it funny that while Caylee was missing - it just so happens that her recent boyfriend, Tony L. went on vacation to NY. Her friend, Amy that she ripped off her checkbook - along with her ex-boyfriend Ricardo both went to P.R. with afew other friends.

Odette,
TY so much for all the links! I wonder if Casey logs on to sites like this and reads what is written about her. I can't imagine she has many friends left with which to email and surely she knows her internet traffic is likely monitored. If she does read and watch all that's out there about her, I hope she realizes that she's doomed; she needs to come clean about what happened to little Caylee. She has now succeeded in ruining 4 lives, Caylee's, Cindy's, George's and her own. Who's next, Lee? JMO

imho
8:25 a.m. -- Casey Anthony will leave her home today for the first time since she was released from jail on Friday. She will meet with her home confinement case manager this afternoon at the Orange County Jail administration building.
She will be allowed to leave at 12:30 p.m. and must be home at 4 p.m., according to jail records. The purpose of the visit is to establish her schedule for the upcoming week to determine when she can leave and where she can go.
Last time Anthony was released from jail, she was allowed to leave the home to go to church and scheduled numerous visits with her attorney, Jose Baez. At least once a week she will receive an unannounced visit from a home confinement officer, according to jail records.

Why would she need to be out for 3 1/2 hours? What could she possibly have to discuss in terms of a schedule for the following week? Lunch with the girls, hair and nail appointment, WTH? The only place she's welcome is her attorney's office, IMO. She needs to be off the streets, not only for her own safety but for Caylee's sake. IMO, there are too many nuts out there who would do her harm. And, as long as Casey is still alive there is a chance she'll tell where Caylee is. Once Caylee is found, I don't think she'll ever be getting out again. JMHO.

I hoped that while I slept charges would have come down. It's hard to walk around today knowing that a case is building and yet they all have freedom; I would feel safer if "mothers" like these and others recently in the news were in a cell. I also hope that in other cases, they are watching this one very very carefully. I believe Caylee is Dead, I've no hope left. And still today; I feel horribly sad because I dont think there is anything left of her to recover. And I think the Anthony's all made sure of that.

Hi everyone. I am new to the forum but have been reading these threads for awhile now about the Anthony case. That's how I found the board. I just wanted to add a small note that may or may not mean anything. Nanny Zenaida only recently acquired a sister if I am correct, however beofre that it was simply Zanny the Nanny. ZENAIDA MACROURA is the latin (I believe) name for the Mourning Dove- which I find quite interesting. I am looking if Samantha means anything similar but am thinking it was probably just padding for the lie. IMO

Hi onetosnoop and hugs, I totally agree with you; it may be the one time only that casey is telling the truth in that she doesnt know where Caylee is. I wonder if the flurry of unanswered calls to her parents was when this tragedy happened. They did not pick up they did not answer, part of me does believe that they could not; yet answer her because I think SHE wanted to know where Caylee was.
(sigh) The timeline is a problem in this case; i guess we can only hope for Amscott cctv video of Casey there, at that car, abandoning it. Otherwise I have no way to know for sure that the car owners, didnt leave it there.
See you soon; I am glad I wrote down my nic here because I dont visit that often but I sure do like the people and the board here :rose:

Thank you - I am in canada so we have no news of this here. I too am hoping SOMETHING happens in this case soon. I was hoping the search being called off was for another reason, but it seems not. apparently Casey and Cindy had a very contentious relationship and right before Casey and Caylee left the house on the recommendation of the counselor, Cindy had worried about Casey's care of Caylee. the counselor suggested Cindy take custody but Casey left with Caylee. Word has it that the impetus for the recommendation for Casey to leave was that she had stolen money among other reasons. So she stole money and lied; took off with Caylee, was incommunicado for a month or so, and when she came back NO CAYLEE. Cindy must be beside herself that she didn't take custody; maybe there wasn't enough time to go thru tthe process before Casy took off. I would think this scenario would make Cindy feel she in some way pushed too far and her beloved grand child is now missing. I think most of us would rally and take out the anger and guilt on the daughter; I know I would beat the crap out of her if she didn't tell me where my grandchld was and she'd be back in the slammer, all black and blue!! Maybe she is blaming herself which is displaced guilt. Now she seems to be rallying behind a living Casey and let go of a presumed dead Caylee.

Details Emerge About Fight Casey Had With Mom In Mid-June (http://www.wftv.com/news/17421473/detail.html)
Just read in the above article that Casey and Lee were high fiving each other as they made it thru the doors to visit her home confinement manager? Whats up with that?

apparently Casey and Cindy had a very contentious relationship and right before Casey and Caylee left the house on the recommendation of the counselor, Cindy had worried about Casey's care of Caylee. the counselor suggested Cindy take custody but Casey left with Caylee. It very well could be Cindy is rallying behind Casey in hopes she'll tell where Caylee is.

I would be the same way with my daughter if she had done something of this sort. I might go to jail myself but she'd be telling me something. And it's obvious that Cindy is not without problems herself. The whole dang family is nuts in one way or another. IMO

Hey Woostock, I didn't hear anything about a counselor and anything to do with custody  Boy, I sure hope the lying witch didn't do this to get back at her Mother. In other words - if I can't have her - neither are you! She couldn't admit that to her Mom, so she made up this stupid stupid lie about the Nanny taking her.

There is a theory that she may have done that to get back at Cindy...
If you go to wftv.com there is an interesting article regarding the contentious relationship and Casey taking off with Caylee. This apparenly reached its high point in June. As many have said on this board, living with a sociopath is a living hell but Cindy apparently decided enough was enough when Casey took money earmarked for the elder grandfather's nursing home care. No matter how you look at it this family was in trouble for a long time. The article said Cindy did seek advice from a counselor. And the counselor apparently suggested Cindy try for custody.

I heard on Fox news that they were fighting and yelling so loud on Fathers day the neighbors could hear them. That is around the time Casey took off with Caylee. On one of the first phone calls to 911 that Cindy makes you can hear her telling her she may try to get custody --it was almost like threatening Casey if she didnt tell her where she was. I think it was the converstion in which they didnt realize they were being recorded --as the 911 people were trying to get someone for Cindy to talk to about what Casey had done and it was not in the right jurisdiction so they kept passing her off to other stations.

Yeah...I heard this story last week and wondered what was up with it. In her NEW story, she says that she was told to tell the OLD story! I don't really go around hating on people, but is she SO smug to think she is smarter than EVERYONE? That when her lie doesn't work, she can create a NEW lie and expect everyone to believe that?!
While I believe the truth needs to be told, and that no one in that house is giving 100%, I think the 'protests' are wrong. The woman traipsing her little girl with the sign - wrong. The "Caylee' doll - wrong. These idiots trespassing on their property - wrong. That hag that filed 'assault' charges against George because he pushed her off his property when she wouldn't leave - wrong.
What else...ACK! I forget!

I did watch the pushing and I don't think she was on his property. Normally, the space between the sidewalk (public) and the street(public) is property of the city. It isn't private property. If this is the case, he did what he is charged with. Do I agree with the tactics? No but I do agree with what they are saying. Under the first amendment they have the right to be on public property and protesting.
If they want them gone, just tell where the little girl is. Pretty simple to clear up.

She must of inherited her stupidness from her mother -
The following is an excerpt from a post by Cindy's brother Rick...
"She is the STUPIDEST person that I have ever seen though. Her and husband George are enablers. They enabled Casey and believed her lies for years and years. They are in denial that their lying theiving tramp of a daughter could possible harm their grandchild. But I believe that Casey did harm Caylee and her stupid parents still don't get it. When LE'S "ducks get in a row" I think she will have to answer some interesting questions about those lies too.
That is what I think is happening, they are getting their ducks in a row. Then the bottom of her lies and her ability to lie will fall out from under her. Not too much longer either. Once they charge her will murder 1 or what ever, the clock starts and they have to be ready to go if that is what the defense wants. If her lawyers have an idea that the ducks are not in a row they will want the trial yesterday. That way they can effectively stop the investigation. Without evidence much better than what has been shown so far, she will walk.

I understand the role of a defense attorney and client/attorney privledge and all that. But, seriously, does Baez think there's a remote chance Casey is innocent? I don't think I could ever defend a client that refused to provide any information in the ongoing investigation of their missing child. That's just too cold. No amount of money is worth that. JMHO.

Well, well, well. Once again you have stated something in a much more ladylike way that I ever could. :seeya:
A couple of questions for those of y'all who are caught up on the reading:
1) Has Casey ever held a legit/paying job since Caylee was born? Where?
2) If so, what childcare arrangements did she make for Caylee while she worked?
3) Is Zanny's (supposed) name Fernandez or Hernandez and do we have any idea how old she supposedly is?
4) What type of counseling was going on with Casey? Family counseling? With Cindy and/or George? Court ordered? Any social services recommended by the counselor?

I have to say I was ticked off to think she's out of jail and spending that time at the atty's office. Give me a break! I was disturbed when she was bailed out again; in my opinion she belongs back in the slammer until she decides to tell the truth. I know I need to be patient; but it just seems so unfair that the sociopath is out and about. Then the high five with the brother. What's wrong with this picture? I am hopeful that LE will do a good job and there will be justice for Caylee. Casey has been getting away with her lies and selfcenterdness for years! Hopefully it's about to end.
I can answer 3 and 4. The so called nanny's name per Casey: Zeneaida Fernandez Gonzalez.
She was suppose to be 26 yrs. old per Casey.

So they want her story? What story is that? There are many so far and none appear to be the truth. Anyone on this board could do just as well coming up with a story as Casey.....This case has gone totally down hill and every day something comes up that is sickening. A child is gone; disappeared, and finding out what really transpired should be the only thing that matters now. Keep Caylee as the focus. I am totally disgusted. I see Casey as totally manipulating this case right now; just the way she manipulated her family her whole life. People really feed into it. Here she is spending 6 hrs in one day at the attorney's office. If it were up to me she wouldn't have gotten out of the jail.

I was thinking that too. Even if they were human bones I wonder if LE would release that until they got the DNA tests back to say if it was Caylee or not. I'm just not sure why the bones were even brought up if they were suspected to be animal bones. They have been inding animal bones all along but NG never mentioned them. Makes you go hmmmm.

This case just keeps on getting more bizarre. I just finished watching Nejame's interview on why the Anthony's (Cindy & George) need an attorney. Unbelievable. Maybe Casey is working in Baez' office to help pay some of her legal bills. I find it hard to imagine they could be discussing her case six hours a day. He must have other clients. Maybe she just holes up there to get away from her parents. The tension must be tremendous. Bottom line, no word on where Caylee is and it's been 86 days since she was last seen. JMO.

Has there ever been any comments from the Anthony family as to why the car was left at the Amscot? Ran out of gas and has it been proven? Someone stole the car and it was reported? Casey was soo drunk that she forgot where she parked? Maybe Casey called her brother, parents or friends to seek help with the car..... if it broke down. Even a day later, surely she would contact someone to seek help with the car.
Then again, 30+ days and she didn't seem to need anyones help to find her missing child Caylee.

The only info I have heard about the car was from Padilla. He said on NG that the car was infact out of gas. I think the only person who reported the car stolen was Cindy. She reported that Casey had stolen it and wanted her arrested. The whole timeline of the car doesn't make much sense. Workers at the Amscot say the car was there at 7:00 AM. Casey's ex room mate says she called her ex boyfriend sometime between 11:00AM and 1:00PM to go and pick her up from the Amscot because the car was out of gas. She also had groceries when he picked her up. Noone knows if the car was there the night before. Why would she wait so late to call someone to go get her and where was she for all those hours in between?

I think she knew there was evidence in it. I would imagine she tried to clean it before she left it or wanted the ability to say someone stole it. I really am waiting for that to come out of her lawyers mouth. "It was stolen and she just remembered it. She has been so upset over the lose of her daughter that she jsut remembered it." or something like that.

If I had someone come to help me with a car that ran out of gas, I would tell them on the phone the problem. I would ask them to bring $5.00 for gas OR bring a gas can to fill up the car. I wouldn't just leave the car in fear it would get towed and cost more $$ plus all the time/hassel.

That would make too much sense, Ruzzty. IIRC, her exboyfriend said in his interview that the car was always running out of gas and that Casey said she called her father and he was taking it to a dealership so that's why she left it at the Amscot. The ex-BF said she went into great detail about the car problems, the dealership, even naming names. The elaborate lies she told, tsk, tsk:no:

Ruzzty, I don't think she would have cared about spending more $ - she know her Mommy and Daddy would end up paying anyway. She truly didn't care about anybody but herself.
Wasn't that proof enough when she went to get that tatoo (WHILE CAYLEE WAS MISSING) IN English it meant:Beauiful Life ---WTH:flamemad::flamemad:

Hello everyone. I live a few hundred feet from Jay Blanchard Park and I am very familiar with all the areas in question. I have a few rebuttals as to the so called park kidnapping. First, on June 10th, a young woman was murdered at the less used end of the park, in a remote area. For at least two weeks (June 10 - June 24) the park was being searched by police and filmed by news crews. I seriously doubt anyone would have been kidnapped at this time. Also, the park has a YMCA which is very busy especially at this time as school was no longer in session.
Regarding the car being left behind the Amscott. Colonial Drive has been completely torn up by road construction since May. It was at it's worst during the middle of June. Do you think there is anyway she could have somehow deposited the body at a road construction site without it being found? Also, she ran out of gas but had groceries in the car according to her boyfriend. If she had means to buy groceries, she could have bought gasoline at either of the two stations which are a matter of a half a block down. There is a homeless camp in the small woods located on that corner. I believe she deliberately left the car there thinking it would be stolen. Why else would you leave a car unlocked in a questionable area with your purse in the car?
Gatordog.
P.S. If you watched NG last night, the map showed UCF a few miles to west of Jay Blanchard Park. This is incorrect. UCF is about 1 mile to the east of JBP. The areas they are looking in is to the east and north of UCF. One area is in Chuluota and the other is Lake Jessup. Lake Jessup has the highest concentrations of alligators in Florida. If anyone has ever watched the show Nip Tuck, you will know that they deposited two dead people in alligator waters. Alligators love decomposed food, not fresh food.

In all honesty I believe she dumped Caylee's body elsewhere before she ended up at the Amscot, but where is the big question. JMO
P.S. I think you should either call into the show or email Nancy Grace and set her straight on the logistics of JBP and UCF.

I was reading over the NG transcript from last night and what the ex-roomate said. I just can't get over Casey's demeanor prior to anyone not knowing Caylee was already missing. She went on with her life as though everything were normal - why doesn't she show any emotion at all?
Did she really give Caylee to someone to watch for a few hours even though she didn't know them well and they took off with her? Did Casey sell her to pay off a debt of some sort? The forensics though - speak volumes. Just pondering some thoughts.

I've tried calling the NG show just about every night, but can't get through. The line is always busy but I have dropped them emails.
Also, if you remember early on, NG showed many pictures of Casey partying and then was told by Cindy that those pictures were years old. Well, the Fusion Lounge only opened about eight months ago. There is also a Fusion Sushi Restaurant but the pictures were taken at the Lounge and could only be a few months old.
I wish the police hadn't arrested Casey so soon. Perhaps they should have let her be free and follow her around. She might have gone back to the body to check it's security. Or, with her attraction to LE officers, they could have sent in an undercover officer and see what she had to say to him. Somewhere in all those lies, is the truth. I just don't understand how she could not have been working for at least two years and the parents not know. Did she not fill out tax returns? How could you have a so-called Nanny and the grandparents not have any means of contacting this person? Let's say Casey had a car accident, the parents wouldn't know how to contact the sitter?
I don't have kids but I have nieces. I know for a fact that no one talks more about their day then a three year old girl. Given the opportunity to talk, they will tell you everything they've done for the day - unless perhaps they were drugged and didn't have any recollection of those hours. LE should get every bit of video ever taken of this child and evaluate it and what she says.

Emotion? I think she has only one emotion and that is the love of self.:flamemad: The forensics do speak volumes. After hearing about/reading about the fight she and her mother had, I am afraid she did this out of spite. A love of self and spite. I think her mother wanted Caylee and casey killed her so her mother would not take her to court and get complete custody. I really think it had to do with losing her "gravey train."

My brother works at the Orlando International Airport and on his way home on Monday, he saw lots of LE officers searching Lee Vista Blvd. Lee Vista is a road that runs east/west and is between the Anthony home and the airport. Lots of open space, wooded area and lakes. There were airboats on the waterways and they had actually opened manhole covers and were searching the sewers. Equusearch may have left, but the searches continue.:)

They are in fact, morons. Possibly the dumbest parents in history."

One2Snoop - excellent map.
Just some quick references, where you see the martini glass, that's the Fusion Lounge, UCF (University of Central Florida) is the yellow house that is a little above it on Alafaya Trail. The areas they searched yesterday show up way on the right side - Chululota Road (near the 50 which is Colonial Drive) and Lake Jessup is way at the top in Oviedo. Jay Blanchard Park is just above the words Union Park, where the green people are walking. Where you see the green horses to the left of the green people is where the Amscott is located.

Yes I read that but you've got to keep reading (like another hundred pages LOL) The guy was verified as real. The other Rick who posted that "it was all a joke" was the one who was harassing him non-stop under another nic..... Several people on the site gave the real Rick their email address and they were able to verify who he said he was.
ETA: I thought twice about posting that stuff here but after I spent about 2 hours last night reading through the different threads there - I believe its on the up and up.
I'll see if I can find the post with the verification info and I'll post it in the Cindy's Brother Speaks thread.

Great post. Thanks for the information and to Ruzzty for asking the Q about the car at Amscot and O2S for the new map and TES pix. Google maps show Full Sail on University near 426.

Thanks One2Snoop I would really appreciate it. I was thinking that seeing as it appears that Casey did all of her grocery shopping using the cheque from her freind and her mum says they have heaps of receipts they might be able to tell when Casey last bought something for a child? Let's say for the heck of it, they are truly in denial that Casey dropped off Caylee with the Nanny at the Sawgrass Apt. and never saw her again.....well, after Casey told the OTHER story, about the nanny and nanny sister stole Caylee in the park with the dumb ass script ---what did Cindy and George think then???? They couldn't really believe her then - could they? I find that impossible to believe - that it's still denial.

Morning 4u2!:seeya:
I think he made some good sense. They have contributed to the 3-ring circus atmosphere surrounding this case and they need to reign things in and exercise some self restraint. I understand that denial is a part of the grieving process and that the Anthony's most likely are going through just that. But, I think that I would have been shocked out of the denial phase when presented with the forensic evidence and the full body of Casey's lies. I would have went immediately into anger and on the attack against Casey. IMO, the parent/child relationship in that house was dysfunctional and contentious for a long time. They knew what they were dealing with and I'm surprised they won't believe Casey is capable of extreme anger when she's not getting her way. Casey is devious to the core and to any objective observer it's pretty obvious that she's lying through her teeth.
Did you catch the former LE expert when he said he wouldn't be the least bit surprised if FDLE did bug the house and was monitoring the computer under title III? NeJame said the Anthony's couldn't care less because they have nothing to hide but that may explain Casey spending so much time at Baez' office.
In the end, the only thing that matters is the truth and that truth is the answer to What happened to Caylee and where is she?? IMO, Casey will never provide those answers because, maybe, just maybe, she can't remember what she did with Caylee. Poor little baby:rose:

I think she is being kept at the office to make absolutely sure she doesn't open her mouth again. All the lawyer needs is another lie to have to argue away. Sometimes I wonder if she knows what truth is.
As for the denial, maybe, just maybe, in the beginning but her mother said she was prone to lie in the beginning. If she knows this how can she trust anything the girl says?
There are some statements cindy made during the recorded phone call to 911 that do not seem to fit her story now. The one where she says that casey had 30 days to find Caylee and NOW she was going to get the police involved. To me, that sounds like this wasn't the first those two had discussed where Caylee was. It sounds like cindy knew Caylee was missing for some time before the call. Make sense?

Is there any news on when she will be rearrested on the latest charges? I half expected it during the NG show last night, but have not heard anything today.
Nothing yet. LE might just decide to hold off on this pending more serious charges. IMO, they realize that arresting, jailing, releasing re-arresting, jailing, re-releasing Casey is adding to the circus-like atmosphere. Also, IMO, these new fraud charges are related to the Amy H. charges they just add more checks to the charge. Maybe that'll make it felony fraud and cause for higher bond. Who knows at this point? Casey just stole from anyone she could. But, stealing from her grandfather's care funds was just about as low as one can go, other than what she did to Caylee, of course. :flamemad:

It absolutely makes sense. During Cindy's initial testimony at Casey's first arraignment, she stated that she had been in touch with Casey during those 30 days but did not speak to Caylee. When asked if she was denied access to Caylee, she hemmed, hawed and then said something about it being an "inopportunity". JMHO. She knew Casey was up to something, just not that Caylee was missing completely from the scene. JMHO.

Gatordog - can you tell me what the Full Sail Univeristy is? Thanks
Full Sail started off a couple of years ago as a small school with classes in film making, sound production, etc. They have grown tremendously but are still a strip mall which they have now taken over. They have degrees in music, art production, animation, etc. You can tell the Full Sail students right away. They are usually the people in baggy clothes and purple hair. Not all, but most.
As to Mark Najame, the attorney. He is big news here in Orlando, along with big bucks if you know what I mean. What has everyone here up in arms is that he was hired by a missing child agency to protect George and Cindy. People donated their money to help find lost children and the organization turns around and hires the top defense attorney in Orlando to protect the Anthonys, using the guise that he was hired to encourage people to look for a "live" Caylee. We would be looking for a live child if the mother hadn't lied her way into jail and then won't talk to anyone as to what happened to the child. You have no recourse with the forensics and the Casey's lies but to believe the child is deceased. If there was one shread of evidence that the grandparents could give that she was alive, I'd listen, but so far, they haven't given any information proving she was taken.
Also - there is no gag order signed by any judge in this case which would prohibt anyone from telling any facts. So Najime is just using that as an excuse to avoid the tough questions.

I am not an attorney nor do I play one on tv, but, I think there is a reason why these charges are coming out in drips and drabs. I believe that in Florida if you are charged with crimes that took place at the same time, or in unision with each other, the time is spent concurrently instead of consecutively. If they can make these charges or crimes separate from one another and not all related, then prior to these new charges she was looking at 17 years in jail. Seven for the child neglect and those related charges and then the additional petty theft charges added another ten years. These charges may add more years which will be added to the 17 instead of inclusive of the 17. IMO the goal is to rack up so many years that she will take a plea of reduced charges if she tells where the body is hidden.

According to the time-line thread, Casey left the car at the Amscot on June 27th. That was a Friday. I am curious to find out if the city/county dump truck arrives on Fridays to pick up the trash from that dumpster. If so, then clearly, Casey made sure to be there THAT day for somewhat obvious reasons (imo). You can't toss a child into the dumpster without someone noticing, UNLESS you know that no business will transpire (taking out the trash from Amscot) early on a Friday morning.
A week earlier - June 18th, a neighbor had seen her back the car into the garage. A dead child in the back of a car for 9 days would smell pretty badly. Enough to make sure the car stays missing for the odor to go away and not attract too much attention (i.e. neighbors or friends).
Edit: Apparently, Casey had the car on the 24th as that is when George found the two gas cans in the trunk. Clearly, the smell had not been introduced in the trunk yet or George had previous knowledge and did not report/question the smell.

When asked if she was denied access to Caylee, she hemmed, hawed and then said something about it being an "inopportunity". JMHO. She knew Casey was up to something, just not that Caylee was missing completely from the scene. JMHO.
To start from the 'beginning'...Casey took Caylee and left, over a family dispute. Knowing that Caylee preferred Cindy, and knowing how much Cindy loved Caylee, Casey either intended to punish Cindy by 'withholding' Caylee - or worse. I think in Cindys eyes, Casey was going out of her way to keep Caylee from her as punishment. When she would call Casey and ask to talk to Caylee, Casey would make an excuse why she couldn't. This is what Cindys MySpace comment was about. When Cindy finds out about the car, she means business and finds Casey. She demands to know where Caylee is, and when Casey can't stall any longer she tells her she was kidnapped or whatever. So Cindy freaks out and calls 911 - though Casey doesn't want her to. Casey probably objected to her calling, saying that she'd find her herself - that's why Cindy says "I've given you thirty days", meaning "you've been at this for thirty days"...
I believe that George and Cindy weren't part of any act or cover-up. They suspect what happened, but by believing that they would be admitting guilt in that they did a poor job of raising their daughter, and contributed to what happened by forcing Casey out/confronting her with an ultimatum. It's one thing to know that you've raised a child that is a habitual liar, or even a guiltless thief...but to know you raised the child to be a cold, careless murderer? They absolutely do not want to believe that, so they will hope against hope that Caylee is actually alive somewhere.
Just my opinion...

I'll do my best to find out when the trash is collected at the Amscott.
Let me run this by you - I believe this might be the latest lie that Casey has secretly told to her parents to try to get them to believe her and stand by her. Casey tells her parents that she witnessed a crime - a murder. The murderer then puts the body in Casey's car trunk and forces Casey to drive to a location and dump the body. The "murderer" says he won't kill them but takes Caylee as insurance so Casey doesn't tell anyone. After coming out of jail, Casey tells the pack of lies to prove that "the dead body in my granddaugher's car wasn't my granddaughter" (according to George). She tells them that Caylee is in deep danger of being killed if she tells anything to the police about witnessing this crime and being forced to dispose of the victim. So the grandparents buy the story about the stink in the car and are supporting their sociopath daughter.

I really don't believe she was put in the dumpster. Specially with the car sitting there. I believe she was either buried, which I also doubt, or thrown into a body of water somewhere near. I am sure there are a lot of lakes and ponds around there. The dumpster would be easy to do but would leave one too exposed when they did start looking.
You might be suprised how little attention people pay to what is going on around them. Easy to get into the dumpster but there is always the chance that a camera is watching.

Well Caylee was quite small she could have gotten a trash bag or something like that and tossed her about any place. I heard they were looking for a rug of some type. It makes you wonder since the dogs hit on the backyard if maybe she did bury her 'cause remember she borrowed a shovel from the neighbor and she probably thought that will be the first place they would look. I figure she dug her up and put her in the back of the car when she backed it up to the house. They said there is dirt in the back of the car. The dogs hit on the trunk. It all adds up. Where she took her after that-we may never know.

I think the dumpter scenario is very likely. Especially if she ran out of gas while Caylee was in the trunk and she needed a quick place to dispose of the body. My real fear however is that she was fed to gators.

I really doubt she did much digging. Just doesn't look like the type to work that hard. In the sandbox covered? Maybe. Digging in a yard leaves tell tale signs. Even if you go to the trouble to cut the sod and replace it. That ain't easy.

Casey doesn't appear to be too smart but she is able to manipulate people quite easily and is devious. She kept her mother at bay for 30 days or so before her mother realized Caylee was gone. And whatever she did with Caylee that gave her a month which is a long time in these circumstances. Now everyone is playing catch up and the search is so much more difficult. I am trying to stay positive that LE will have enough of a case to nail her. If she gets away with this she'd probably have to leave the country she would be so hated. I can't believe she spends all that time with the atty; she should be back in prison.

I really beleive that, that night was the first that Cindy knew of her granddaughter being missing. At that point Casey was still telling her that she was at the babysitters. Cindy wanted to go there and get her and Casey kept making excuses saying that it was too late to wake Casey up and that she should just wait until the morning. You see while Cindy had got in contact by phone with Casey during the prior month, not once had she been allowed to talk to Casey. I think at that point Cindy just thought that Casey was being spiteful and hadn't thought that Caylee was missing but the longer it went on the more concerned Cindy got. The first 2 calls to 911 were all about having Casey charged so that she would have no choice but to tell someone where Caylee was and Cindy may have even thought that social service might give her Caylee after Casey was charged with theft and fraud. You can hear the change in her tone and manner easily in the 3rd call. She is panicking and upset, and to me, this correlates with her only just learning that Caylee was missing and not at a babysitters like Casey had been telling her. I think that Cindy was being very forceful with Casey that night because I don't think Casey got in the car by choice or went home with her Mum by choice. IMO Cindy forced her and once she had her in a moving car she started calling the cops so that Casey couldn't get out. She knew that Casey would be forced to cooperate if the cops were involved (or at least a normal person would have been) and it wasn't until Casey was certain that she couldn't get away before those cops got there that she realised she had to tell a story to explain her daughters dissappearance before the cops came. She may have even tried to use it as a bargaining chip to get her Mom to let her go but it backfired because Cindy became hysterical and became much more truthful with the police about her concerns in her panic telling them that she smelt a dead body from the car that Casey had been using and abandoned.
Anyway this is just my opinion.

If that were the case, and I am not saying it is not, then she sure did a big turn around. She smelled a dead body, she didn't smell a dead body, Caylee was with the sitter(that didn't exist0, she was taken. She can't make up her mind what happened.
ITA, Cindy is just as much a liar as Casey. IMO, Casey learned to lie easily at her mother's knee. This whole case is so confusing. Cindy says she hadn't seen Casey for 30 days yet George found the gas cans in her trunk on June 24? I thought that was the day he learned they were missing and filed a police report. I thought he found them when they picked up the Pontiac from the impound. I was under the impression that the last time either George or Cindy saw Casey and Caylee was when they left the house on June 16th, the day after Father's Day. I do think Casey most likely went back to the house between June 16th and July 15th while her parents were at work. It would be nice to know the exact date she started staying with her boyfriend without Caylee because that would pinpoint the possible dates Caylee was killed. I think she was most likely killed on the 16th or 17th of June. It has been 88 days since anyone other than Casey has seen Caylee. May she rest in peace.:rose:

from David Lohr's site...
Robert Dummett: "In this mission, we are out there looking for anything that is unusual - anything that doesn't belong. We are looking for things such as blankets, sleeping bags and anything child related. It is very possible, if the child was put into a garbage bag, it could float. Early on they were looking for a child safety seat that has since been recovered. Not necessarily in this search effort, but law enforcement does have that in custody, so that has been excluded as an item we are looking for."
so they have the car seat, wonder where they found that?

Good Morning Everyone,:seeya: Last night on NG Padilla told Nancy that Cindy & George were asked to take a lie detector test. FIrst they said yes than Lee spoke with them about 15-20 mins. and he came out and said no we are NOT. I ask: why not? See that's why I am not buying that denial thing.
I have always believed, if you have NOTHING to hide - ask away.
Lie detectors are so unreliable that I have told my husband if he is ever asked to take one say no. I feel the same way about me. If they are not permitted in court it is not worth the risk. IMO

As far as I know, Fusion Lounge is still open. It's also a restaurant. It's the endcap of a strip mall here in Waterford Lakes. It's smaller than I had imagined considering all the attention it gets.
There is a blog on the myfoxorlando.com website which you might be interested in reading. There was one posting there a few days ago stating that the writer had spoken with a friend who was in criminolgoy or forensics, I don't remember which. The friend stated that if maggots or flies were in the trunk of that car, they can be tested for DNA. The DNA of the dead person would have been consumed by the bugs and still be available for testing to indicate who the person was. I tried to find it but I had to page back too many times and being at work, my time is limited.
Also, according to the blog, one poster was viewing the webcab outside the Anthony house and saw Casey come out very late at night and get into a car. There is also very strong belief that Casey and Lee have been posting on their blog. There has been lots of speculation as to why Casey is spending all that time at the attorney's office.
Still trying to get info on the trash pick up at Amscott.
Regarding the car seat - WESH television channel stated that LE removed the car seat from Casey's car.

I think she had help and does not know where Caylee is. And there are a couple of people I think maybe involved that we are not hearing about. The speculation is that something was found on Sunday. As to LE not being 100%, a lot of this information originally came out when the detectives were testifying during the bond hearing. I was home from work that day and watched the whole thing on local Fox. That's when the bombshell was announced regarding the cadavar dogs and other info. I don't think the detectives would lie during court. Being here in Orlando I'm privy to a lot of the local channels which have news not broadcast nationally. If you have any questions, I will certainly answer as best as I can with the info provided on the local news.
Also, regarding that blog with the info on the DNA being in maggots - the writer also said that chloroform would kill a person in the trunk of a car but it would not have any affect on flies. He felt that the chloroform might have been used to destroy evidence.

ITA. I think the whole cell phone nonsense is a cover. She can always claim the numbers for Zanny and others she supposedly told about Caylee were on the lost phone. Her lies are elaborate. Even when confronted she had no real explanation for them other than she was going at the search for Caylee in a "backwards" way. Good questions!! I didn't hear the detectives ask her those questions. What did she do all day long when she was supposedly working? Why did she need a sitter/nanny? The bf's roommate, Nate, said that Casey never seemed to be wanting for money. I guess she stole enough of it and during the interview admitted she was using her mother for her money and credit cards. IIRC and JMO.

I am so glad we are okay. there are trolls and a lot of arguing on other MB's and it is sad about this case. Some threads have been shut down. Have to recognize difference of opinion and respect it. I know it is hard waiting. Makes me empathize with some of the people here who have been involved in cases that have taken years and still no answer. I really really don't want that. I usualy stay away from kids threads but this one got to me. I cannot wait to listen to the tapes but DH is here so I am spending time with him. Just wanted to hear from you we are okay....
No worries Sara. We are fine :) I hate trolls. I was a member of an EC and later a pg. Trolls are terrible. I think this case has really pulled in a lot of people. It's one of those cases that you can't stop thinking about.

One2Snoop and applesand orange,
from what I understand Dante is someone in Casey's life. He worked at Don Reid ford as a mechanic, He had his message boards which were automotive. On those message boards around the time Caylee disappeared he had quit his job and found another. then very quickly after he posted that he was not working at the new job in Orlando but was moving away and he did not know where yet. The interesting thing was he lived at Sawgrass Apts (supposedly where Zenaida lived) only in a different apartment. LE left a card in his door to call them and supposedley he never did and nothing has been mentioned since.
Kiomarie was supposedly Casey''s childhood friend who could not have children and wanted to adopt Caylee. So far this is all I know because I got so tired lurking but I am going to continue tonight or tomorrow and let you know. She said she had received a call from Casey Williams about the time Caylee disappeared. that is as far as I have figured out and I hope to heck LE knows a lot more about those 2. Anything else I will let you all know. IMO

If the babysitter didn't actually exist then she didn't need money or
she paid the sitter with the money she took. ??
What I meant was I wonder if LE ever asked her why she supposedly left Caylee with a nanny if she didn't even work. Casey's whole story was that she left Caylee with ZG so she could go to work. Well she addmitted she didn't have a job so why would she leave her with someone in the first place? I would have loved to hear that answer on the interview tape.

That is very interesting about Dante. Thanks for the info on him. Hmmm sounds awfully strange. Especially when coupled with Cindy at one point saying Casey led them to the right apartment complex but told them a different apartment number because she was afraid something would happen to Caylee if she told the right number. I hope LE has tracked this Dante down.
I read almost all of those 400+ pages. I believe the police did have an interview with Kio. I'm not sure if it was her or someone else but the lady did say she had offered to adopt Caylee because Casey had wanted to give her up. She also said Casey had agreed to it but then a few days later called back and said Cindy wouldn't allow it. She went on to say that she had lent Casey $400.00 but never asked what it was for. She mentioned a secret place where Casey, her and another friend would hang out as children. IIRC she said she had only seen Caylee once or twice at Walmart.

I remember the Mark Hacking case. He used the dumpster but in that case the length of time between the murder and and the search was not that long. Casey made sure that there was an extended period of time before anyone realized how serious the situation was. It is a very bazaar case, Where did Cindy think
Casey worked? She never met the "nanny"? Maybe I am overly inquisitive but if my daughter and grandchild lived with me you can bet I'd know where she worked and where the child was staying during the day. Wouldn't you want a telephone number incase of an emergency? I find that almost unbelievable that Cindy didn't have a clue. No job for quite a while and no nanny-all just lies. That family was ill equipped apparently to deal with a sociopath. Seems as if there was a lot of shouting and discontent, etc. but that does little good when dealing with a sociopath. Sociopaths by definition exhibit ragefulness so that wouldn't bother Casey. So no surprise that Casey continues to lie and lie and lie but the people to whom she lies are not as gullible as her family !

LOL - After listening to that audio, my head is spinning but no doubt she'd answer with more lies.
On another note - not sure if any of you have seen this about "a" Zenaida Gonzalez who blogs for Brevard County Moms - some interesting comments -

thank you applesandorange. If I can find anything more to add I will let you know.
Casey had a perfect fantasy life. She told everyone she worked. She told everyone Cindy and Zenaida was the babysitters. and you are absolutley corrent about the Hacking case. Very obvious and not much time passed. Casey has at least 30 days of story building to cover herself and wait for evidence to destroy itself. IMO

You aren't overly inquisitive. This is info I think ANY grandparent would want to know. Makes you wonder if Casey didn't have someone pretending to be ZG.

'Detectives Call Casey "Callous Monster" In Newly Released Interviews
POSTED: 1:13 pm EDT September 12, 2008
UPDATED: 6:47 pm EDT September 12, 2008
ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. -- Late Friday morning, the Orange County Sheriff's Office released two recordings of investigators questioning Casey Anthony on July 16, just after her daughter Caylee was officially reported missing. In them, detectives called Casey a cold-blooded, callous '..............
Imagine being these investigators and having to listen to her lies and drivel!
I bet they wanted to slap her across her sinister face to make her tell the truth.Welcome to the world of the sociopath-they couldn't get a word of truth out of her. They sound exasperated......They cared more about finding Caylee than her mother did. Now we are in September and know little more than they did back in July as to her (Caylee's) whereabouts.

They certainly did several times IIRC and after listening to those audio's of the interviews with her, ITA she's a callous monster. I don't know about the rest of you but my impression of the way she talked it was like it wasn't any big deal to her.

IIRC, LE told her she had two options, 1) to admit that a terrible accident/mistake had been made and she's very sorry; or 2) keep lying and stonewalling and have people believe her to be a cold, callous, unfeeling monster. They told her she was fitting into the second profile. As I posted earlier, it spooked me that she spoke of Caylee in the past tense. It also irked me that she laughed and seemed to be getting flirty and friendly with the investigators. She really did seem to think this is all about her and not Caylee. I was also interested in how much she feared her mother's reaction to Caylee missing. Otherwise, she really just came off as a cold, callous, unfeeling monster. JMHO.

Didn't one of the LE officers even say they seen her getting teary while talking about her mother and her reaction? That struck me as weird. Maybe what it all comes down to is Casey was longer mommy's little girl. She was replaced by Caylee.

rose to me the bottom line is if she tells the truth she is in trouble. If she does not and there is not enough evidence (she did have a 30 day start) she goes free. She knows. I think she might have been arrested tonight. My camera showed a cop car there and then died. I don't have links so I do not know..........................IMO

Hi Dan glad to see you back----glad your PC is fixed
I know this is soooooo disturbing --- she was more worried about her mom then anything---this is so sad. Makes me think if she was jealous that Caylee got more attention then her so that is one of the reasons why ....she is gone.

I think you're right. IIRC she said she was petrified by her mom's reaction to the news Caylee was missing. IMO, she was more concerned about her mom's consternation than what happened to Caylee. She may not know where Caylee is. Who knows what kind of shape she was in when she got rid of her. Didn't you think it was interesting how she said if she wanted to get rid of Caylee she'd just leave her with her mom and move out. She was real quick with that response. As though that one statement exonerated her from any suspicions. Sick girl, IMO.

Listen to the audio again. There's no right or wrong for her. She truly doesn't care about Caylee. When I heard her saying she was frantic because she couldn't find Caylee did you hear her voice crackle, waver even a little to show she was upset? The concern is just not there. It's so obvious she doesn't care about Caylee because she didn't contact authorities when she first went "missing".
All Casey could think about was how her mom would react.. GMAfreakinB

On NG they showed her lawyer going into the house and speculated that she could be re-arrested soon on the ten additional charges. So, maybe tonight was it. Baez had told LE he wanted to bring her in the last time but that they (LE) turned it into a circus. Maybe they'll let him take her in this time.
