Okay, I'm chuckling!

I was thinking: if Casey takes the fifth on the depo, and her countersuit is thrown out and ZG wins hers by default, would that give ZG and her attorney access to financial information, such as the funds being used to Casey's defense and their source?

I am wondering, because if, say hypothetically:rolleyes:, a "broker" of "true stories" is bankrolling this, then there must be a deal/contract of some sort, no? Hence money. Or, if images have been sold and money banked to pay for the defense, same deal?

There has to be a reason JB cares, and that reason must have something to do with his wallet, imo.

I think someone is simply after whatever source is paying for the defense. If there is a Casey Anthony defense fund no way JB wants anyone to know about it, let alone where it came from...imo.

ORLANDO, Fla. -- The man who discovered the remains of Caylee Anthony will start a new job on Monday.

Roy Kronk is no longer a meter reader. He's moving into a position with Orange County's Inventory Control Department.

"There's no place to run. There's no place to hide. They're very vulnerable," attorney David Evans said.

Evans fears his client could get hurt on the job, so Kronk will take on a new role away from the public and the meters.

"I'm not aware of anyone getting in his face ... It may happen at any time, so he's alert to that," Evans said.

Since Kronk discovered Caylee's remains, he's been easily recognizable on the job and fearful that someone may hurt him while he's working with his guard down.

Kronk denied he had anything to do with the toddler's disappearance.

"I respectfully deny to get into the details of what I saw," Kronk said.

But nothing can stop public speculation. On the Web, bloggers have called Kronk a suspect, but others have said he's one of the good guys.

"Some people believe the things they see on the Internet. You always have to be concerned there might be someone out there who might like to do you harm," Evans said.

Just had the surname discussion with someone on Friday. I don't use Leroy's name. So the other half of the discussion says something along the lines that women always have some man's last name. My thinking is, that if my dad's name was good enough for My Sainted Mother, it's good enough for me. And it's on my diplomas and certifications, so I'm very partial to it and have always used it.

Didn't I read that Gavin has sworn off alcohol and that his new wife is an actress? Not sure what KG's hubby does in life.

I never took Doc SD's last name either. I was born SD and that is who I am. My mother married 4 times, was only married to my dad for 2 years, and still has confusion over what name she uses! SD was and is a constant.

I have been saying all along the C&G have a contract with Time Warner. They flew to CA because there was supposly a tip that Caylee was there. Not. Did they go to any other state that tips came from, no. But the go to CA and then they appear on Larry King, Cnn/TimeWarner. I am sure they cut a deal but in their names so that the money can not be touched by ZG and if the court rules that KC can not make money of this case, they money is in the clear. These may be dysfunctinal people but they are not stupid people. They lawyered up right away and around the time they went to CA I bet the lawyer represented them in the deal. For all we know he may have gone with them.

When asked about fingerprints they said "Read between the lines." If her fingerprints are on that tape, Jose better plead , that is really all he has left because there is no way to explain that! Also about his motions, I am sure this has been said before but Jose needs to focus on the case itself and maybe learn how to file appropriate motions. One of the last three motions he filed was done improperly and it is the second time he has done that. Hello to all!

They usually have a small private funeral and then later a large public memorial to honor their loved one. Even Anna Nichole Smith had a fairly private funeral. Give me a break!

Been offline for about a week or so reading and feeling under the weather but keeping up every night on the shows. The most interesting thing to me in a the whole week was in the People magazine article where the tape was described as a very valuable piece of evidence. When asked about fingerprints they said "Read between the lines." If her fingerprints are on that tape, Jose better plead , that is really all he has left because there is no way to explain that! Also about his motions, I am sure this has been said before but Jose needs to focus on the case itself and maybe learn how to file appropriate motions. I by the way saw the transcript of Mark Furhrmann on Greta saying there was a ham and cheese sandwich that was stinking up the car , allegedly according to the family and the ham and cheese was not found in the trash bag that was tossed but it was tossed separately. Do I have that right ?Now what the F? I thought it was pizza, no frozen food, no squirrels, now ham and cheese??? Call me dense but---what I am understanding is. The highest bidder gets to choose the words that will go on a man's (or is it a woman?) back along w/Caylee's eyes. Basically, paying that person to get the tatoo. The only other thing the highest bidder gets is a look @ it after it is done?

I don't know if LP reads these boards, but that is exactly what some of us have conjectured for a long time. George starts to say he is watching the news, which I take to be the news @ night when Cindy pinches his leg and he's watching an hour long cooking show on the Food channel and it's about 1 pm on the 16th. And, Cindy did NOT tuck Casey and Caylee in the night of the 15th after a normal, quiet evening @ home as SHE says, but the neighbors report loud arguments. I speculate that George and Casey did NOT have the pleasant exchange where she tells him she is taking Caylee to the nanny and she's off to work. I speculate the words she said were loud and nasty and in the tone she uses to them on the jail tapes. And they were probably more on the lines of, I'm taking Caylee and we're not coming back. OS, I was so excited when Melnick said that about the NY plates! (No, hadn't heard that before.) I really think Casey is boxed in; she cannot take the 5th and carry on this suit. And if she drops the suit, the defense is even more hard pressed to produce any Zenaida Gonzalez that fits the bill. And they will have narrowed the chances of that all by their oddie knockies.

Not to be facetious but after reading in People that Cindy was always dogging George before this and calling him stupid you have to wonder if he is staying away from her in this facility because obviously you can't get well with someone dogging you on a daily basis. And if she is still towing the Casey is innocent story it has to be rough on him (despite what he said in the suicide note about Casey being innocent) when he told authorities the truth about the smell and all. I by the way saw the transcript of Mark Furhrmann on Greta saying there was a ham and cheese sandwich that was stinking up the car , allegedly according to the family and the ham and cheese was not found in the trash bag that was tossed but it was tossed separately. They pretend that they saw Caylee on the 16th to preserve the family IMAGE. That's why Leonard says George doesn't want to continue "living a lie."

Not me beating up on Fuhrman . I have some positive things to say about his investigative techniques and will not go into the OJ thing but..... you are so right about the NY plates. I don't believe that. I think it is more likely she came back later , slept in her parents house, did the going to work story and came back as soon as George left, killed Caylee and got the blanket, the trash bag, the stickers, the whole shebang. She for sure came back because the cell phone records put her in the house from about 2-4:45. About 3:11 pm she makes those flurry of phone calls to her Mom and Dad, one after the other. I think she was planning on doing some kind of hurried accident story and decided not to do that. I think Leonard is just grasping. It really does not help Casey if she left on the 15th or 16th, the point is that she had a furious fight with her mother and if they are going to lie to protect her, wouldn't you think they would leave that out ? The changing of the dates does nothing to make her look better or worse.

The neighbors heard it, the family refers to it in email, and Lee mentioned it. I may be wrong but George I think does mention it. I think we are kind of discounting a lot of stuff there is pretty good info for and that LE has surely documented but that is just my opinion. I still say if she leaves in a huff on the 15th and they had that fight, the fight is the motive or the straw that broke the camels back and if you are going to hide anything, or lie, lie about that. Deny that fight took place, It does not help Casey at all to say you saw her on the 16th, She still has the motive of the fight. Since Florida's laws state the defense must be given discovery ASAP (not like NY), and they do have Some leeway time, do you think they are still holding it from the defense until they Have to hand it in, or what? Or would they just say it's 'not back yet'?

The defense is crying they haven't all the discovery yet, so I am assuming they have not gotten it from them.

IMO, this WILL be the icing on the cake, and you can bet she left something with either the hair or tape....or both.

Susan Smith in SC had a new boyfriend that didn't want kids. Her daughter was found a few miles from the Kroger but near where Teresa lived with tire marks across her. Did Cindy or George ever mention the blow-up? In one of the interviews (LE or FBI) Cindy is saying they had a normal, quiet evening. The neighbor is the one who brings up the arguement, and I think, Lee--he is going by what the neighbor said.

Casey seems to be quite proficient @ going to the house when the A's aren't @ home. It very well could be that, after she stormed out of the house on the night of the 15th, she could have killed Caylee. If she had her in the trunk sometime AFTER the 15th, 16th, she could very well have had her in the trunk after killing her, going back to the house to get the bedding, the duct tape, the sticker, etc. later that day, and making all those phone calls.

If LE had video of her without Caylee on the 15th I am sure their theory would be she was dead on the 15th. She may have driven around for a while but there seems to be no report that I have heard or seen of her in a motel nor at friends and her friends have been pretty straight forward in not covering for her.

Didn't Casey tell Lee about this blow up while Cindy was lurking outside the door after Caylee's "disappearance" had been reported? For mainstream media to report this fight/choking incidence as fact, I wonder who has gone on the record to substantiate it.

it is a possibility that she checked into a motel using the stolen ID LE snagged from her wallet. A month had passed and maybe the night clerk did not put 2 and 2 together, or maybe after a visit from LE they did. I think in the begining the first few hours CA and GA were honest. The 911 call is telling and so is GA's interview with LE and conversation with the towing co. It wasn't until they actually realized some hours later Caylee may be dead they started the cover up. JMO. I think she killed her the afternoon of the 16th at home. She wanted to go to Tony's and knew CA was pissed and wasn't going to babysit. IMO.:shrug:

It's been some time, and frankly, can't remember if I saw the pics on this board or the other one (or a link from one of the boards to another board, or....the list goes on.) BUT, there were a bunch of pics of Casey--more than 5, anyway, and one of the pics was of Casey next to a car in a parking lot. Can't remember the discussions @ the time about the pic, why it was included, etc. Probably pretty much along the lines now.

There are a lot of things, this case and others, where people say, I just can't see where this or that or the other would happen, but they do. I can see her driving with no particular destination because she left in a huff, no one is expecting her, it's late @ nite (or early in the am.) She's driving, trying to figure out what friend she might have that wouldn't be totally po'd @ being woken up, and Caylee is scared and crying, possibly even wanting her grandma. Casey is still angry, and it's hard to think with a little kid crying and she tells her over and over to shut up. When Caylee doesn't shut up, she stops the car to MAKE her shut up. And Caylee does, permanently. It doesn't have to be in a parking lot @ all. It could be by the side of a road somewhere. If anyone were to stop her--her little girl is asleep in her car seat, of course, @ this time of day.

It happens everyday which is a tragic. In my state I really don't hear many cases of mothers murdering their children but there have been a few cases of fathers killing kids. I had never heard about the Teresa Fargeson case but I will look it up. There are a couple of similiarties to Susan Smith and Casey Anthony. I kind of remember that Susan hadn't been in a long relationship with her bf when he sent her the letter saying he didn't want kids. Casey's situation is sort of similar but I think Tony was really immature when he said and did certain things. Tony is a year younger than Casey and I think he really didn't want to settle down and didn't want to cope with someone with a child. He met Casey after browsing through Orlando network profiles on Facebook. He allowed her to move in a few weeks after knowing her. I do wonder if Tony was serious about only wanting sons. Maybe he is serious about only wanting sons and he is probably making down payments to one of those gender selection clinics for him and future wife. But I think he only told Casey he wanted boys just so she should would think he didn't want a serious relationship and she would break up with him. I think this tragedy has probably made Tony, Amy, Ricardo and all of other bf's and friends grow up. Tony is probably regretting a lot of things he has done and I don't think he is a bad guy at all.

Padilla is just saying what a few of us thought possible - that George was lying to the police about seeing them on the morning of June 16th. And I also questioned George's ability to remember exactly what Caylee was wearing five weeks earlier. The Loretta made the observation of the Food channel not having a one hour program at noon and Cindy giving George the nudge when he was going to say he was watching the news.

As far as I know, no one in the family has admitted to or talked pubically about the fight. Cindy says it was a lovely evening. Who know if George was asked about the night of the 15th (he was at work during the fight), or the morning of June 16th at the Grand Jury hearing?

The visit to Mr. Plesea was on the 15th, and the fight was that night, so if Casey stormed out around midnight, came back and killed Caylee at the house, it would have been on the 16th even if it was before daylight.

And interestingly, for a long time we had only heard about the choking incident from Lee having recounted it, but then LP followed suit, and then Natisha Lance also reported it last week on NG. It may have been discussed as fact before last week, but I never heard it (or remembered it). I consider NL much more reliable than Lee Anthony and Lenny combined. I wonder if she has simply been convinced, or if there is a third party to verify The Big Fight.

You could be exacly right, but considering that George didn't see Casey and Caylee until they were leaving the house, and apparently Cindy didn't see them at all that day, I think anything could have gone on behind closed doors. Isn't there video or photos of Casey at some motel the night of the 15th, but no sign of Caylee? (Wish we knew more about that.) There are probably plenty of theories about that being the night that she chloroformed Caylee, taped her up, and stashed her in the trunk to die.

You would think the motel would have record of that. I don't think she actually went inside the motel. From what I'm understanding is cameras caught her pacing in the motel parking lot talking on her cell phone.....ALONE. We already know LE knows who she was talking to and when so they got this covered if there is anything to cover. I'm interested to know if it's true or not. I guess it's one of those things we'll have to wait until trial for.

I don't recall any mention at all of Casey at a motel on the 15th without her daughter at all. That is kind of one of my points. If LE had video of her without Caylee on the 15th I am sure their theory would be she was dead on the 15th. I don't doubt a shouting match or many, many shouting matches at the Ants' it's the supposed fact that Cindy choked Casey (poor Caylee if she saw that), and threatened to take Caylee away (poor Caylee if she heard that, but how could she not?) that supposedly put Casey over the edge. Sure, the neighbors probably heard this kind of crap more than once, but if they had known that there was physical violence involved they would have called LE, wouldn't they? Anthony Family To Be Deposed In Civil Case
Casey Anthony Charged With Murder In Daughter's Death

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Attorneys representing Zenaida Gonzalez are scheduled to depose family members of Casey Anthony in a civil suit filed against her.

Anthony, 22, remains jailed on first-degree murder charges in the death of her daughter, Caylee. Anthony told authorities that she left Caylee with a woman named Zenaida Gonazalez at an Orange County apartment complex in mid-June but the pair was gone when she returned to pick up her daughter.

Caylee's remains were found in December in a wooded area near the home of Anthony's parents, George and Cindy Anthony. Casey Anthony and her daughter lived in the home, although they often stayed elsewhere.

Gonzalez, the only person with that name who has a known link to the Sawgrass Apartments, said she had never watched -- nor met -- Caylee Anthony and claims her life has been affected by being drawn into the case, which has gained national headlines.

Casey Anthony has said that another woman with the same name took her daughter.

George and Cindy Anthony, and Casey Anthony's brother, Lee Anthony, are scheduled to be deposed at the end of February by Gonzalez's attorneys, who recently submitted a questionnaire they want Casey Anthony to answer in jail.

Casey Anthony's civil attorney, Jon Kasen, said his client will fill out her name and date of birth but she will plead the Fifth Amendment on all the questions.

George Anthony Remains Hospitalized

Meanwhile, George Anthony, who remains hospitalized following a suicide threat less than two weeks ago, is expected to be transferred sometime this week, his attorney said.

Brad Conway, who represents George and Cindy Anthony, said George Anthony is doing well but will continue to get treatment.

Conway said he expects to know on Tuesday when George Anthony will be released from Halifax Medical Center in Daytona Beach. Conway said it's been difficult trying to find a treatment center close to the Anthony family's east Orange County home.

Tax Dollars Paid In Case

Local 6 News has learned that at least $7,500 is being paid by Orange County to the attorney representing Roy Kronk, the meter reader who found Caylee's remains.

David Evans, who was retained by the county after Kronk made the discovery, is billing Orange County a discounted rate of $225 per hour. He's charging Kronk the same amount, Local 6 News reported.

Documents show that Kronk is paying Evans for any arrangements that are made with media outlets. Local 6 News confirmed that "Good Morning America" paid Kronk at least $20,000 for a picture of a rattlesnake that he apparently shot near the area where Caylee's bones were found.

There are a lot of things, this case and others, where people say, I just can't see where this or that or the other would happen, but they do. I can see her driving with no particular destination because she left in a huff, no one is expecting her, it's late @ nite (or early in the am.) She's driving, trying to figure out what friend she might have that wouldn't be totally po'd @ being woken up, and Caylee is scared and crying, possibly even wanting her grandma. Casey is still angry, and it's hard to think with a little kid crying and she tells her over and over to shut up. When Caylee doesn't shut up, she stops the car to MAKE her shut up. And Caylee does, permanently. It doesn't have to be in a parking lot @ all. It could be by the side of a road somewhere. If anyone were to stop her--her little girl is asleep in her car seat, of course, @ this time of day. Well absolutely it could be on some road somewhere, I just don't believe it happened that way and as much disagreement as there is about this, we would probably have to wait till trial to find out what LE thinks happened. Some questions will never be answered that is the way it is.

I may be 100% wrong, but the way I remember it was there was a surveilance tape or pictures of Casey squatting and urinating in a motel parking lot. Can't remember where I read that and sure can't provide a link, so don't hold me to it. I remember that photo but LE has never said that this was Casey on the 15th and she checked in with or without her daughter in that particular hotel or motel. All I am saying is I do not believe that anything LE has released so far indicates they have her at a motel or hotel on the 15th. So far, it does not mean it is not in their bag of tricks. At trial, all this will come out.

He also says Lee shouldn't be deposed because Casey never mentioned Zenaida to him and never said anything about Zanny the Nanny to him. Only mentioned her occasionally, and called her "the babysitter". NG is asking Natisha which is the closest hospital George can go to since he's released from Halifax. The closest hospital to the Anthony house is Florida Hospital East (approximately 5 mins). If they do go there and enter the hospital from the Chickasaw Trail entrance he is going to come face to face with a poster size picture of Caylee on a missing poster which was put on the base of a street light.
