But then...shouldn't ALL the Zenaida Gonzalezes in the country be suing? It's not like anyone looked at her picture and said Eureka, that's her! In fact the opposite. I'm not talking about the morality of it, just the legality.
This ZG was at the Sawgrass Apartments and Casey by her own lies unwittingly connected herself to her.

Hi folks, this is the first i've been on in a few days. Haven't been able to see much news - I was in the ER all day yesterday and on vycodin today so I'm kind of groggy. Thought it was appendicitis, it's diverticulitis. I haven't been able to cach up on posts yet so sorry if I repeat.
I just had to tell you that on WESH they had a report that a woman who searched that area with TES said there was no bag there and she has photos to prove it. Not good. I only hope that the bone trail proves it wasn't there when they searced but was moved by water, animals or wind.
In the Sentinel, it shows a picture of Geoge sitting in his car and crying. I guess Cindy still has false hopes and George can't be honest, again.
Hope you feel better ASAP. Keep an eye out for signs and symptoms of anemia. Vicodin (and hydrocodone) is your friend.

Clothing Also Found In Bag With Child's Remains
FBI Analyzing Tooth, Hair Found At Crime Scene
POSTED: 12:13 pm EST December 17, 2008
UPDATED: 6:30 pm EST December 17, 2008
ORLANDO, Fla. -- The state confirmed Wednesday that clothing was also found in the trash bag full of a child's remains discovered near the Anthony home.
The remains were found last Thursday just blocks away from the home of Caylee Anthony, who was first reported missing five months ago.
Her mother, Casey Anthony, has been jailed on a first-degree murder charge.
The clothing discovery is the strongest sign yet that the state believes the remains belong to Caylee, reported WESH 2's Bob Kealing.
Authorities said they're uncovering new evidence almost every day.
Sources said they believe the victim was dumped soon after the slaying.
Prosecutors visited the crime scene along Suburban Drive on Wednesday. They learned that crime scene investigators and FBI forensics experts wouldn't be done processing the area until at least Thursday.
Teams carrying machetes continued cutting into the wooded area, and they expanded the search area from a half acre to an acre.
Investigators said the crime scene continues to give up more and more clues. Crime scene investigator technicians hope to piece together not only who the child was, but how the child died, and perhaps when the remains were dumped there in a plastic bag.
Two prosecutors met with investigators on Wednesday morning for a progress report on the search effort.
A short news conference was held to announce the search would stretch into an eighth day.
"We expected that it might have been late this afternoon that this scene might have been able to be cleared, but as we continue to discover items at the scene, we'll continue to hold the scene irregardless of identification. The medical examiner will make that determination as to when it is proper to make a proper announcement regarding identification," Orange County Sheriff's Office Capt. Angelo Nieves said.
Authorities also announced that FBI analysts began work to identify the remains by using a tooth and hair found at the crime scene.
One woman said off camera Wednesday that she was part of a Texas Equusearch team that scoured this area. She claims to have photographic evidence that proves the remains were not there when they searched. Investigators reviewed the photos and took her statement.
Earlier Wednesday, lead investigators briefed two state attorneys whose job it is to prosecute Casey Anthony on murder charges.
A steady stream of people continued to come to the scene to pay their respects and reflect.

Zenaida Gonzalez Prepares To Fight Further Involvement In Anthony Case
A local woman named Zenaida Gonzalez was dragged into the Caylee Anthony saga, even though she said she doesn't know anyone who is involved.
As the case against Anthony moves forward, the question remains if Gonzalez will be dragged in again.
Attorney John Morgan, who represents Zenaida Gonzalez, said if the Anthonys or Casey Anthony's attorney continue to throw out his client's name as a possible suspect, they've picked the wrong person to mess with.
Gonzalez filed a lawsuit against Casey Anthony in September claiming Casey defamed her. Gonzalez was falsely named by Casey as a possible abductor of Caylee even though the two have never met.
Morgan believes with the recent discovery of remains, if they turn out to be Caylee, the defense will likely return to its claim that Caylee was stolen by "Zanny the nanny."
"And they've kicked this dog and they've kicked this dog and all of the sudden it went away. Now OK it wasn't Zenaida, she's still alive and now they've circled back ant they've decided to kick Zenaida Gonzalez one more time, but they're going to find out they've kicked the wrong dog," Morgan said.
Morgan is scheduled to depose George and Cindy Anthony in his office at 9 a.m. Monday. He said if the Anthonys don't show up, he may hold them in contempt of court.
Morgan also plans to depose Casey Anthony in jail but her attorney, Jose Baez, said he's going to try to block that.
Casey Anthony has counter-sued Gonzalez, claiming that Gonzalez is simply looking to cash in on a high-profile case.

Wouldn't she have turned this information over immediately? Or did she and we're just hearing about it? Cannot beLIEVE that Tim Miller wouldn't have given the information and the photo to LE immediately. Or that he would go so far as to make statements about why the area wasn't searched.
Just thinking - searchers aren't allowed to take camera's with them on a search - I believe I remember TM saying this and I recall when David Lohr went on the search he had to get special permission from Tim to take his camera along.

I mean why would this woman go 20 feet back and start clicking right there. The photos if they indeed from that date probably are of around the school and all. After all Tim Miller never said we did not go by there at all, he said there were areas that were underwater in that area. If she has a specific photo of that exact spot with the right date, I will email you my cookies.

She has lots of pictures up, so it proves she did not kill her? I can see this guy will go out of his way to prove her innocent. Also just in case Mr Fahey wants to know in a lot of cases where two spouses have been fighting like cats and dogs and one kills the other and tries to get away with it, the murdering spouse becomes very accomodating, more reasonable and loving that anyone remembered before so that people will say things were fine, things were getting better. Casey may have done the shrine herself with that in mind or Mommy may have put things a certain way as well. This proves nothing,
Wasn't it reported at one time that the pictures were not on the wall when Gretta was there? Someone stated that Cindy probably placed them there after Casey went to jail.:)

As I'm laying here, in my drugged state  , I thought of two things - Caylee's birthday was supposed to be two weeks after the 911 call. Well I know that when my neices and nephews were children, I had their presents sometimes two or three months before their birthday or Christmas. Cindy had birthday presents. Where are the liar's gifts?
I almost forgot the second thing - Lee is supposed to live in the same neighborhood, I think they should get a cadaver dog over to his house. I'm not saying he was involved in the death but if he has a job where he travels weeks at a time - how do we know she didn't store the body there.
Oh I had three things - I hope that Cindy realizes that for the last five months she has been calling the smell of her beloved granddaughter - garbage.

I don't think she stored the body there, why would the trunk stink so bad if she had taken the body to Lee's? I agree with the LE who said she dumped the body soon after the crime. I don't mean like the next day but I bet it was not a long time. If Lee hid the body or dumped it , he did a poor job of dumping somewhere so close to implicate his sister.

Sheriff's Office: No DNA Results Released Today
Wednesday, December 17, 2008 6:16:47 PM
ORLANDO -- Despite cable news reports that DNA results will be released today on bones found near Casey Anthony's home, a spokesman for the Orange County Sheriff's Office tells News 13 that he is sure that that an announcement is not imminent.
On Wednesday, deputies said the search will continue through at least Thursday. They said it could be days before the property is turned over to its owner. Sheriff's office spokesman Capt. Angelo Nieves said the careful search of the site is being used to establish a timeline for when the remains were deposited.
The office of Casey's attorney Jose Baez told News 13 they haven't heard anything about positive identification on the remains of a small child found near Casey's home.
They also said they won't make a decision about what's next until news comes of that identification.
Thursday, News 13 learned from Jose Baez's spokesman, Todd Black, that there a lot of people financially supporting Casey Anthony and that the money from the defense fund is being used to pay for official experts.

No-I believe that she is grasping at straws, thinking she can blame Zanny for ANYTHING SUSPICIOUS because ZANNY HAD A KEY!!!
Duct tape matches a roll at home??? ZANNY HAD A KEY!!!
Clothing found with Caylee?? ZANNY HAD A KEY!!!
Bedding matches bedding in Caylee's room??? ZANNY HAD A KEY!!!
Fibers match carpet or the cat and dogs??? ZANNY HAD A KEY!!!

Ohhhhhhh, my Favorite! I love the turkey ones! One2, does that one have the cranberry apple dessert? My husband calls them fake american food....so I take his and eat it too!
Men just seem to have this aversion to learning how to throw a tv dinner in an oven  ~ just what the heck is the problem?!
Hey Loretta, make Leroy pick up Chinese food for the both of ya!! Come to think of it, I'll take some too...we just got home from my youngest daughter's Winter chorus and I'm hungry!
I could be on my deathbed and at 7:29 in the pm, Leroy would be hovering over the stove lifting lids and looking into the oven to see what's going to be on the table at 7:30.
Donna, ITA about changing the locks, and have been wondering when and if they were changed. Should have been right after the jailhouse convo when Casey revealed that Zanny had a key.
WAIT!!!! She would have told them about Zanny having a key before the jailhouse convo. It was scripted I tell you!

I know there's been a lot of discussion about KC choosing a hispanic name because of Cindy's alleged antipathy toward hispanic friends of hers, but I think it makes more sense that the claim will be that the "real" Zenaida is undocumented, so "of course" they can't find her. I wonder if she got the idea of a kidnapping from the stories that were on last year about the rash of kidnappings for ransom in Mexico...
moo, imo, etc...
I live in Texas and there have been quite a few stories in the news lately about the Mexican Mafia. They are kidnapping women and children for retribution if someone messes with them. Thought it was strange and wonderedif Casey would try to use it. You know, I could make up a story that works except for how the body got in and out of the car and why.

Just as a sad aside, they will never get all of the skeleton. There will always be bits scattered in that area. In a 2/3 year old, there are so many bones that are smaller than 1/4 inch...and the reports are saying they've found "dozens" of bones, a far cry from the 300+ that should be there....
There are 216 bones in the human body according to the experts last week. This caseis getting to me. Last night I kept dreaming of assembling a skeleton. And I think of the maggots and being thronw in field like garbage. And part of the body being at the ME's office, part in VA and part in that field. zzit is beyond my understanding how someone could do that to a child, especially one they gave birth to.:rose:

Plus, if they changed the locks, Zanny couldn't sneak in after a month and drop Caylee back home!!!
And they wouldn't have ANYONE to blame stuff on, EXCEPT THE SKANK!!!
Hey-it could also be a great insurance scam!!!
"Someone broke in and stole our 52 inch HDTV!!!"
"And the Mona Lisa, too!!! Don't forget, George, we had her here on loan from those nice gallery people!"

I'm an expert- there's more at birth, more than 300, held together by cartilage, and they gradually fuse. One mature bone can be composed of 3 at birth. And some of them are REAL small, like in the vertebrae and not to mention the hands and feet. As an aside, they might not be able to spot a broken neck in a really young child-the cartilage that holds the bones together is really flexible, so the spinal cord could be cut and the spinal column look intact.
And it is horrid. I'm an archeologist, and it is sad working with kids even when they are thousands of years old (I always give the child a name when we don't know one just to remind everyone working with him/her this was a person, not a specimen.) I could never work with a "recent" dead child...:(
But I respect the work they are doing, they will find as much as humanly possible so Caylee has her dignity...

the ground has dried significantly. We didn't encounter any substantial water today in any of my searches (other than ponds, lakes, etc). Yesterday was pretty much the same. Some muddy areas, but nothing major. There were areas with standing water that most likely had been dry in the past, but we're not talking about 3 feet of water...nothing that major. I'm not saying that the conditions i had were the same for other searchers, but that was my experience yesterday and today.
today’s search was eventful and productive. After leaving command center, i returned to my search location and it was blocked off with police tape. I will be watching the news closely over the next few days.

" As I'm laying here, in my drugged state , I thought of two things - Caylee's birthday was supposed to be two weeks after the 911 call. Well I know that when my neices and nephews were children, I had their presents sometimes two or three months before their birthday or Christmas. Cindy had birthday presents. Where are the liar's gifts?"
I guess that would be Mommy-Dearest getting all dolled up with stolen money so she lookd good for her Caylee...:flamemad:
"I almost forgot the second thing - Lee is supposed to live in the same neighborhood, I think they should get a cadaver dog over to his house. I'm not saying he was involved in the death but if he has a job where he travels weeks at a time - how do we know she didn't store the body there."
I agree. Cadaver dogs-and a BACK-HOE!!!
"Oh I had three things - I hope that Cindy realizes that for the last five months she has been calling the smell of her beloved granddaughter - garbage."
Are you sure it wasn't the Skank that stunk up the car??? I'm sure that at her age, Caylee had a very sweet little-girl scent to her. I'm sure the garbage smell is the Skank's natural scent-or GUILT!!!
Oh-BTW-GET WELL SOON, GATOR!!!! :seeya:
Good point about Lee. It was mentioned on NG that Lee works with athletes and travels a lot so Casey might have known when he would be gone and she could have easily stored Caylee's body for awhile. I'm sure Casey had a key or could have gotten a key from her parents.

ETA: Sounds like someone wanting their 15 minutes of fame IMO.Well it all makes sense to me, as Tim said at one point there was too much water in that specific area, then a sign up and apparently according to the poster who saw the video Greta showed of the area on 8/5 there was not only a no trespassing sign but a wire fence, so if the area was bone dry, searchers could not go on that land without assistance from LE and permission from the owner. I think I said on here that my brother in law said right before property is slated to be sold it is zoned and surveyed and often those signs go up for a time. . Tim said when they went back to search there were signs up, so I guess in retrospect people(not you specifically but others can say we should have searced that area and got permission to search, etc, but I am remembering Tim said they had over 100 areas to search and only got to half . I imagine once they hit an obstacle they could not waste time on one area, esp not having a solid tip ie like she told me buried her there, or she hinted it was there. Also here is some info on the person who ask about the cadaver dogs and water. ."Underwater searches are not as common as land searches for most cadaver trained canines. A specialty subset of cadaver dogs are water cadaver dogs. " I would imagine that the two dogs LE was using did not have this specialized training and with this area being one of hundreds suggested they did not have time to go get a dog specially trained. This poster may not have even been in the area with all the water, I am only guessing not all the searchers were concentrated in one area, certainly not in that one area. I think the airport pings threw them off a bit and this girls tip came as a kind of second thought to check it out. I mean who in the hell would guess she had a month, an entire month and she hid it nearly at her doorstep.? This is my only thing.Something made that trunk smell like death and it could not have been in there for an hour or even just a day to smell like that. I can't imagine Lee would let her do that and he would surely find out. To keep it from smelling there, she would have to refrigerate it and if she did not Lee would have a smell at his place.

John Walsh: Casey Anthony 'Guilty'
Posted by ExtraTV Staff on December 17, 2008 2:22 PM
Yesterday, John Walsh finally found closure when Ottis Toole was named the killer of his son Adam Walsh. "This is going to be the best Christmas in 27 years... and Adam will be right there with us. He's always been our angel and this will be a great Christmas." The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children advocate is going on the record with "Extra" about other missing people.
The "America's Most Wanted" host says he believes 2-year-old Caylee Anthony's mother Casey is guilty of the child's murder. "That mother in Florida... I've said it from the beginning. My opinion, she murdered her child and that people would be lucky if they ever found her body. Now I think they have. Now they can prosecute her."
Walsh also helped with the search for Natalee Holloway. "I believe Natalee Holloway is dead and I hope they recover her remains so that they can put her to rest... and I hope that they get justice. I think those three young men in Aruba got away with the murder."

How in the hell can the defense account for that detail along with the rest of the evidence. Zanny lifted Caseys fingerprints from a glass and magically put them on it? But maybe Casey just had it and thought since she had it to put it to good use. On the other hand, she was looking at Missing Childrens sites in March and maybe she made some excuse to borrow a little of it and never gave it back on purpose. I wonder if LE is going back to talk to Amy. And I wonder where that roll is now. At least if it does not match a roll that the Anthonys have if the Anthonys do have any, LE can at trial say it may have come from the roll she filched from Amy. Cheap B I T C H isn't she?

G&C's silence along with Georges emotional breakdown still lead me to believe that LE has given them enough information about the evidence to come to terms with this AND that their own daughter is guilty of the crime. Wouldn't fingerprints give a pretty quick result?
LE likely let them know (or gave a clue) what they found in the bag that matches what they took with the search warrants...
I'd bet George knows that it's Caylee, based on what they took.
Cindy is probably still denying until LE says "This IS Caylee."

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35, Orlando) -- On Wednesday prosecutors in the Casey Anthony case visited the scene where a child's remains were found one week ago.
The bones have not be officially identified as Caylee's remains but the visit gives some indication the state knows more about the identity than they are letting on. “They are here to maintain their interest in the case obviously. They want to make sure they are aware first hand of what is going on here at the scene,” said Captain Angelo Nieves from the Orange County Sheriff's Office .
It was expected that crime scene technicians would wrap up their work on Wednesday but more finds, and more being brought it, will have the sheriff's office and the FBI out here at least until tomorrow. “It’s grown to ˝ acre to an acre in size through this morning and through this afternoon and they continue to find additional items,” said Nieves.
The scene will then be opened up for everyone to see including Jose Baez and the public.
Cops have concerns about what will happen next because it is an area where people live and kids go to school.
Nieves says deputies will be out at the scene to keep watch at least for a few days.
“Once this scene is released we will maintain proper order," Nieves said. "The Orange County Sheriff’s Office will continue to restore order. We expect everyone to act accordingly.”
Baez lashes out at investigators
On Wednesday Casey Anthony’s attorney Jose Baez released the following statement regarding the crime scene:
“The Casey Anthony Defense Team has made numerous attempts to preserve the evidence in and around the location where the human remains of what appear to be a small child were found.
Law enforcement has been repeatedly asked to allow reasonable access by medical and scientific experts for the defense, including requests for photographs, and assistance with maintaining a secure examination scene prior to any media or general public access.
Every effort by The Baez Law Firm to establish a level of basic cooperation and professional courtesy have all been rejected by the government. This lack of cooperation has complicated how to proceed.
Now that the scene more resembles that of an excavation site as opposed to an examinable crime scene - attorney Jose Baez has been advised that without properly detailed photographs and all related material and documentation, the various experts on the Casey Anthony Defense Team will simply not be able to thoroughly examine the site.
Unfortunately this matter has already become a Media Circus and something The Baez Law Firm will not contribute to, by just making a show of going to the excavation site without good reason. The Casey Anthony Defense Team is being prevented from examining the site unless and until all photographs, schematic sketches and related material and documentation are released to the defense through the discovery process.”

No no you are right it does indeed take a certain kind of person and to some extent to sell it you have to believe in it, although after reading An American Tragedy about the OJ case, really none of his lawyers believed what they were selling except maybe Bailey and he was drunk. Can I say that? Okay, okay allegedly.
I don't think they necessarily believe it (whatever it may be), I just admire the talent to make it seem as though they do. You know they're not really any more sincere than a professional wrestler, but they seem sooooooooo unaffected. :hat:

Yeah I think you have to be careful because there are a few Casey sympathesizers and what better way to cast doubt on the Casey did it story? It just strikes me as odd as I said that you take photos of different parts of ground you searched, why? To show you looked under this tree or that tree? It just seems weird and I think Tim knows exactly what areas they had to leave. I am suspicious of this till I see proof. Lots of people saw Laci Peterson in the Park when we know she was dead. Remember the lady who took her break and definitely saw her, knows it was her.
This woman is full if sht...15 minutes indeed. Tim himself said that that area was underwater, and part of the reason they left.

Baez is such a hack jackass. He should just get up at trial and read that statement, we can't search the site properly and sit down. He is already making excuses and she has not even gone on trial. Why doesn't Casey by the way go and sit in the courtroom? I kind of find that weird. Also was wanting to ask all of you. I keep hearing Casey say in those tapes she gave Lee a statement to read. Did he read it? I seemed to have missed it. I bet it was a doozy.

I bet they make an annoucement tomorrow on the idenitity, because I think they are close and maybe that is why the two FBI guys drove up so late, although I suppose they could do it by phone. I noticed by the way Casey is off psychologial observation, she is over it, so over it..... As we know it does not take long for her to go back into her little shell of denial and think about how she looks, which is probably one reason she is not coming to court because she looks like 'hell. Good point about Lee. It was mentioned on NG that Lee works with athletes and travels a lot so Casey might have known when he would be gone and she could have easily stored Caylee's body for awhile. I'm sure Casey had a key or could have gotten a key from her parents.
Lee knows Liar is a thief...do you think he would let her have a key to his place? NO WAY!

LE likely let them know (or gave a clue) what they found in the bag that matches what they took with the search warrants...
I'd bet George knows that it's Caylee, based on what they took.
Cindy is probably still denying until LE says "This IS Caylee."
Likely explains why we saw George breaking down in his car and Cindy hasn't shed a tear. Which one said they were a lot alike? Cindy or Casey? I guess it doesn't matter - they're definitely two peas in a pod.

It's getting close to bedtime for me and after all the great posts I read here today, I know the case is hot! Only a cast of characters like you could find more to say on a case so slam dunk ridden it's incredible! The links were mind blowing and I am so grateful because I don't do well with research. How you find them I couldn't begin to know. But I click um when you give them to me. And I read them!
We're all getting closer to hearing what we already know. I saw Lenard P looking more and more sad every night. He's more sad, it seems than the Anthony's seem to be. (I'm sorry) His whole demeanor changed since that body was found. Of course I know they must be in some kind of hell, and this immunity crap tells me they were deliberately trying to screw up the case. It isn't only that they made contradictory statements. They coached their daughter in jail on what to say, or suggest. That's cause for arrest. They must un ring that bell.
Hopefully tomorrow we will get the final word on all of it and then we can go to trial. If not, I'll sure miss you all. Between loretta, mu, snoop, samantha, gator and Joe, I don't know which one makes me cry laugh more. The 5 hagnog addicts are terrific but, all of you are great! All of you make this group great.
If there is anything I know for sure, it is that laughter is a gift! In the midst of this horrible tragedy, you all manage to find the release with humor, kindness and brilliant thinking.

I think those three young men in Aruba got away with the murder."
http://extratv.warnerbros.com/2008/12/john_walsh_casey_anthony_guilt.phpI am glad the Walsh's finally have closure. I remember when little Adam went missing and was found murdered. :( I do hope and pray that these high filootin out of towners that the defense has called in and the loons are paying for can not get this sociopathic b**ch off. Has that caused problems in their relationship? Not that its any of our business but I get what you're saying. I've had a few siblings I used to stick up for until the sticking up started getting me into trouble - not worth it IMO. Hopefully Lee realizes it sooner than later - provided he's not involved somehow in this drawn out family drama.

What celebrities are involved in this case other than the usual IMO media ho dogs like Lee, Kobolinski etc.... Casey Anthony certainly isn't a celebrity and certainly shouldn't be considered as one JMO.

I kind of have a bone to pick with Greta suggesting the body was moved because on Aug 5 the area was dry. First of all, Phil Keating says you can see twenty or twenty five feet back in the woods, no you can't if he and I are looking at the same video. Secondly, Keating said LE said that when they were there there was water and he disputes that. Baden said that after Aug 5 there was water was his understanding. You know LE was not out there at that site searching every single day.So how the hell would Keating or Greta know what day that LE came. I guarantee you with over 100 areas of interest they were not checking and rechecking this area daily. They probably went one day , the area was inaccessible and they moved on. Tim Miller backs up that story by the way. Greta also seemed totally unaware that when Tim Miller went back a second time and it was somewhat dry the signs stopped him and you can see the fencing and signs on the video. She should at least bone up on the story

Just saw Keating's report, and the area was certainly dry on that particular day which makes the entomologist(s) and botanist(s) findings all the more important. Which also makes all the b!tching and bleeding and pissing and moaning about discovery taking too long all the more ridic. Also, if kids have been using those woods for years and years to bury their pets and "do mommy and daddy things" and hang out, you would expect it to be somewhat littered all the time. The news people didn't notice any odor, but not sure that there would be the smell of death after having been picked over by insects and animals for the six or so weeks that Caylee could have been dumped between 6/24 up to 8/5.

Greta's been totally out of loop in many of her previous airings regarding Caylee's case. I think they are going to find LE just missed it for a variety of reasons. I will be careful tomorrow. Thanks for the concern. One more thing the locals in that neighborhood said that the water had not subsided until about 10 days ago, so no telling when LE searched. Wonder if neighbors could be called to testify if say LE searched on such and such day after the 5th to say the water was still there. Not saying the video is wrong just that if there was weather after the 5th it would be a different story.

Okay thought maybe a little timeline of the searching and weather might help out. Aug 5 the video is shot and area is dry. Aug 17 Hurricane Fay comes through. Sept 7 Tim Miller suspends first search. Tim Miller did not even search the area until after the Hurricane so any video on Aug 5 is kind of irrelevant as far as showing dry area. So Tim Miller did not even search until after the Hurricane. I have no idea when LE did their search but certainly these dates are relevant, It may be that no one searched early on when it was dry .

Anthony case prosecutors visit scene where body was found

Nieves says deputies will be out at the scene to keep watch at least for a few days.
“Once this scene is released we will maintain proper order," Nieves said. "The Orange County Sheriff’s Office will continue to restore order. We expect everyone to act accordingly.”

Another issue has come up in this. The space is private land. The owner would have to give permission for anyone other than police to be in that area. So, not only would the police, FBI and prosecutor have to give pernission, the owner would too.

The clothes were a small swimsuit and a dress according to Leonard. Do you think it is possible she did try to stage a drowning? Weird if true that it was a swimsuit.
But then, why the dress? No telling what goes on inside that head.

June and July were rainy in the Orlando area, then came Fay. There's just not telling how much time that area spent flooded.
Speaking of no one searching, you have to ask yourself if the Fox crew poked around in all the garbage that they saw strewn around the area. The could have walked right past Caylee and if there was no odor, kept going. Did they go past the No Trespassing signs and really walk the property? Didn't look like it to me.

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35, Orlando) -- Casey Anthony's defense team filed another motion in court on Wednesday, requesting access to examine all the debris from the crime scene before it is discarded.
Because the motion was filed after the Orange County Clerk of Courts closed, the motion is not yet available to the public.
It is not known whether there will be another emergency motion hearing held, similar to Tuesday's when a judge denied the defense access to photographs and sketches of the crime scene where the remains of a child were found last week.
Also new in the case, the attorney representing George and Cindy Anthony says his clients will not sit down with attorney John Morgan for a deposition in the Zenaida Gonzalez lawsuit that should happen on Monday.
Casey said she left her missing daughter Caylee with a nanny named Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez in June. Authorities have not been able to determine this person exists. A local woman with the same name has filed a lawsuit against Casey, saying the publicity of the case and the use of her name has caused her to lose her job and be the victim of threats.
George and Cindy both spent time away from their home Wednesday and a few friends were seen stopping by their Hopespring Drive home. One person even dropped off food at their front door.

Good morning Samantha! I'm up early because I went to bed at like 9:00 last night. I have been soooo tired lately. Plus a friend of mine is coming over this morning with her twin baby girls. We are planning to go down in my basement where all my kids toys are and go through them all. Im giving her all the toys that my 4 year old has from when he was a baby. I'm also giving her a lot of My Little Pony things from my 9 year old. She doesnt play with them anymore. Christmas is tight for my friend this year so I'm just trying to help out with what I can. Why are you up so early?

;)
I'll have some bread pudding:) I know what you mean about the weatherman lying. I don't believe a word they say until I see it happen. There's supposed to be a storm coming through here tonight and everyone is talking about it. I'm just like yeah sure, whatever. Until I see it happening Im not believeing it.

New Details Emerge About Child's Remains
Investigators Continue Search For Evidence
POSTED: 6:44 am EST December 18, 2008
UPDATED: 7:06 am EST December 18, 2008
ORLANDO, Fla. -- It was one week ago when a utility employee discovered the remains of a child in a wooded area near the home of Caylee Anthony.
Related Content: Video | Special Section
The search for evidence hasn't stopped, and will continue on Thursday.
Investigators have shared more details about what they've found over the past week.
They said the bag holding the remains, including a skull and some bones, also contained clothing.
Authorities also said the body was dumped shortly after the slaying.
The crime scene has grown from about one-half of an acre to an acre.
Crime scene investigators said it's grown because they continue to find evidence related to the case.
It's evidence that could lead them to the victim's identity.
"As we make additional discoveries on the scene here, they will continue to provide that information, properly label it, sort through it, make sure it's returned to the medical examiner's office as well, and the medical examiner will take all of that information in its totality in order to ... make a determination as to not only gender but definitive identification of the individual," Orange County Sheriff's Office Capt. Angelo Nieves said.
Orange County Sheriff Kevin Beary wouldn't say exactly when investigators will complete their work at the crime scene, but he said the investigation won't be rushed.

Regarding the swim suit and dress, didn't GA say that when Caylee left that day she was wearing a jean skirt and some sort of shirt? IIRC that's what he described. Oh and the back pack. So I wonder just where Casey took Caylee after they left her house. Was she planning on taking her swimming? Did she take her swimming? WTH did they do before Caylee died? WTH happened to make Casey kill her? I know we'll probably never know and that drives me crazy. If she was in fact wearing different clothing the last time GA seen her Casey had to have changed her clothing. I don't see Casey doing anything fun with Caylee alone so I wonder WHO was with them that day.
ETA: Didn't Tony have a swimming pool in his apartment complex? Maybe Casey took her swimming there and when she knew Tony would soon be home she chloroformed her to make her sleep and that's when she died? Just a guess.
I have a question -- if Casey killed Caylee between 1 PM and 3 PM on June 16 as most people believe (me included) and it was chloroform that led up to her death then what was she doing chloroforming her early in the day? Her clubbing was in the evenings. Applesandorange had a good theory in her last post. :) It's hard to get into the twisted mind of Casey Anthony.

Thanks. My theory is that she went to Tony's apartment complex and took her swimming. She knew Tony didn't really want Caylee there and she probably wanted alone time with him so she chloroformed Caylee to get her out of the way for a while before he came home. The combo of the chlorofrom, heat and duct tape over her mouth was probably too much. She also may have let her in there a bit longer since it was during the day. Just a thought.

SOmeone here said that they coached Casey while visiting her in jail when they asked her,, Ahem,, if Zanny HAD the key. Tonight on NG they played a recording of Liar saying, "My mother will never forgive me and I won't forgive myself" The most poignant thing she said was, "I don't want to think about it." She sounds like Scarlett O'Hara. "I'll think about that tomorrow Rhett!"
Klass said it best. The family is, , , Did anyone hear him? I can't remember his exact words. Anyway he described them as not normal, in so many words.
I don't think Cindy brought up the key - she asked the liar "Has anyone been in our house?" And that's when the liar said that she had given Zenaida a key to the house.

John Morgan is a man of very high reputation and a true advocate. I would take him for his word when he says he'll go after them. He might reschedule if and when notice is given as to the identity of the dead child.

I hope the police question that searcher woman very strongly. Firstly, I don't think she was with TES. I think she might have been searching on her own. She was still wearing a find Caylee teeshirt yesterday not a TES shirt. Why would anyone think to take detailed pictures of the area they searched if only to prove, down the road, that no body was there? We need a smiley holding it's nose, because something here stinks.

Is it possible that Caylee drowned in the pool and it wasn't chloroform that was detected in the trunk of the car? Could it be chlorine from the pool water?

Not to bring back the religious debate, but it really seems as if God's hand played a role in making sure Caylee was found under the best circumstances. The bag and body appear to have been under water for months, helping to preseve the remains. Then the water does go away and for well over two weeks we've had the coldest weather, as cold as 40 degrees. Then they discover the body through a call of nature, and the next day it's warmer. The weather has been much better this week than it has been for one month.

I just have wondered if Casey didnt work for 2 years but went out each day pretending to do so and she took Caylee with her-pretending to take her to the babysitter, where could they have possibly gone for 365 days a year without someone not knowing she wasnt working. How long was she pulling this chloroform trick- I just cant imagine sticking something up to my childs nose to knock them out to sleep. Do you think its possible her body will show that she had been given chloroform over months kind of like when someone is poisoned-it shows in your hair and nails.

Orlando will be home to the first chapter of TES that is outside of Texas. This is our first meeting! Here are the details:
When: December 2nd at 7pm (Doors will open at 6:30)
Where: Club Coco Bongo's at 11370 S. Orange Blossom Trail Orlando, FL 32837 (It is located in the Waterbridge Down Shopping Center.)
I'll get home late tomorrow from the meeting, but I'll be sure to post when I get a chance. I'm very excited about becoming an active participant in the organization.

Edited to add: I'm not sure if Caylee will be a topic at the meeting or not. It goes without saying that I will let you know if we are given any information about additional searches for her.
This woman lives in Orlando, and I reckon that she spends a goodly amount of time inserting herself into this case. I read somewhere that she was at JBP when LP had his divers in the water. Haven't seen the pix she took yet, but a) they could have been taken at any time, and b) I hope she has been booted out of the Orlando chapter of TES.

Sure she could have drowned in the pool - but it was no accident. She would have been intentionally drowned. As a former Orlando ADA said on the news, if there's accident you call 911 unless you want the child to die.
By the way, Florida Hospital East is five minutes from their house.

But, you know, Nancy, when we were looking for Polly, it was always about a quest for the truth, and we wouldn`t listen to anybody`s lies.
But here in this situation, with this little girl, while the police are trying desperately to put together what actually happened to her, you have a mother who continues to lie, you have grandparents who were scrambling to go get immunity. They are continually victimizing this little child, and I just think that the dysfunction in that family has created such a toxic environment that a little girl lost her life, and still — still nobody there is willing to face the truth. I just think it`s about one of the most appalling family situations I`ve ever seen.

Loretta, you're right. How can you take pictures of one palmetto bush and distinguish it from another. All the woods here look the same unless she has the houses in the pics. Perhaps she did search this area (on the record) and missed the bag. How embarrassing would that be for her?

When are G & C going to pull the blindfold off? Everyone else can see all
the lies and things Casey did that led up to this terrible crime. It just
blows my mind that someone is possibly paying for a dream team atty crew
for her. She couldnt even afford gas people. Well if you all remember the
dream team atty crew for OJ-they got him off but he was not welcomed
anywhere he went. I hope she doesnt get off but if she does, she will
not be welcomed here in the USA. JMO

Still thinking about the video of Cindy coaching Casey in jail.
Of course not too much makes sense in this case, since the first 911 call, which made a lot of sense. This coaching stuff tells me even more, that CA and GA knew their daughter killed Caylee, denial or not. After learning Cindy's personality, can you imagine her not getting upset when she supposedly found out Zanny had a key. It was HER HOME, not Cindy's. She in any other circumstance would have tore Cindy's head off and pooped in the hole if she found out a Spanish person she had never met, had the key to her house.
I can't take it, and it's only 8am!!!
I disagree with the 'coaching' theory....these visits were AFTER she was rearrested after Padilla bailed her, correct? She had been in her own home for a week. Why would G&C go to the jail to be videotaped coaching her? That really makes no sense to me.
I think they deep down knew the facts/truth, but were in denial (no body/no proof=hope).
I don't see any coaching in those.
What I see is Cindy and George dancing around the truth, trying to get something out of Liar. Why didn't Cindy get pissed when Liar said that 'Zanny had a key - I told you that"? Because Cindy knows there is no Zanny and that no one else has a key. They were trying to get answers out of her without pissing her off.

Another thought.... my last theory doesn't hold to Casey saying "they havent even found the clothing yet". What about this.... Casey kills Caylee and THEN changes her into the swimsuit planning to make it look like a drowining. She gets rid of the clothing Caylee died in because they have something on them. Either chloroform, blood, body fluids, vomit, etc... She then goes to her parents house and puts her in the pool and she for whatever reason realizes it won't work. That's how all the evidence gets in the back yard. Who knows.... I'm trying to make sense of this and theres none to be made.

Something happened that day after they left the house (which George says he saw them leave) and before she went to Blockbuster with Tony. Could she have been so pissed at Cindy, and so jealous of Caylee that she just snapped? She had obviously been planning something for a while...maybe just at that time something clicked for her.
I suppose it would be possible that she was so pissed at Cindy that she maybe told Caylee that they were moving or something? Caylee gets upset that she won't be with 'Nann'? Seems like that could be enough for Liar to decide that now is the time...

Hmmm...I should have read this before I posted mine.
This is very believable. Maybe at the time she and Tony were at Blockbuster, Liar may just have thought Caylee was 'sleeping' in the car?

I see it differently; the Four Finger Family knew that they would be recorded, and they had the whole kidnapping and key skit planned and simply acted it out for the camera. There is no way that they didn't discuss this business privately before Casey was arrested.

This may have already been discussed but I have been out on some personal health issues myself, but each night on NG show, they play the video of Caylee singing "Please Dont Take My Sunshine away" well note: that Caylee sings "please dont take my Nan's sunshine away" Now you guys that has to HAUNT Cindy. Its haunting to me to hear that coming from her voice---just
to know that is her sweet little voice singing this song and to know that in a day her mother will have killed her, taking her Nan's sunshine away.
I just feel that Cindy and George have let Caylee down. I cant believe
they support Casey in jail and are letting her get away with this bag
of lies, when they should be supporting their grandchild. Its very
disturbing.(JMO)

Hi Beach! I hope your health improves. I'll keep you in my prayers. I'm glad to see you back today :)
Yes that song haunts me. It also makes me think that Cindy was the only one singing to Caylee. This of course is JMO. When my kids were babies I would sing "please don't take my ....and say my babies name away" I know my mom loved to rock my babies and sing to them. She had a special song she sang with my youngest. it was a song where she would move his arms to the beat. He is 4 now and as soon as I sing you are my sunshine he sings with me and always says his name in the same place I did. When asked about the song my mom used to sing to him he says "that's Nanny's song" and moves his arms in accordance. My mom of course would sing some of thesame songs that I would sing but my kids would ALWAYS sing them the way I did because they were used to it. IMO Cindy was Caylee's mommy and Casey was a big sister.

I don't know.
I always figured that George was the one who taught her the song. Maybe because I never heard anything to dispute that, and maybe because my mom and I lived with my grandparents after I was born, and both my grandparents were involved with my upbringing as much as my mom.
They also sang to me ALL THE TIME!!
My grandfather would get my breakfast, too, and care for me during the day, because Mom and Grandma worked days, and he worked afternoons or nights.
But that's where the similarities end.
There wasn't the dysfunction that's present in the Anthony household.

Right...Caylee singing that every night on NG is heartbreaking...and if Caylees death was NOT an accident...if it was indeed Liar killing her out of jealousy or something, you know the goal WAS to 'take Nanns sunshine away'.
EDIT: Again, I doubt that G&C are 'supporting' Liar...they have not been to visit her since...August? September? If they supported her, they would be there to visit as often as was allowed, recorded or not. Just to sit and talk about whatever.
They were playing Liars game to try and get to the truth. I think you'll see something vastly different from them when the results come in from 'the lot'. G&C will no longer need anything from Liar. They'll have found Caylee. After they go through their grief, acceptance, and whatnot, THEN they will reach out to their daughter, not only for a reason, but to support her, as parents.

Is It Caylee? The Search Continues
Thursday, December 18, 2008 12:36:35 PM
ORLANDO -- As sheriff's deputies continue to sift through the site where a child's skeletal remains were found, News 13 is learning more about the person who owns the property.
News 13 has learned that the owner of the property being searched is Thomas Hendricks, who has a post office box in Winter Park, but may not live in Florida.
He is listed as the owner of 25 pieces of land in Orange County, Florda alone. Records show he owns land in a number of states. So far, he has remained silent about the search on his land.
Sheriff's Office Responds To Baez Criticism
Investigators are continuing the search for clues today and say they are not letting anyone, including Casey Anthony's attorney Jose Baez, tell them when to stop looking. In a statement released Tuesday, Baez's spokesman, Todd Black criticized the sheriff's office for what they called a lack of cooperation. But the sheriff's office said they are just trying to be thorough.
"Keep in mind that Mr. Baez would probably be the first one to say that when we left, we left evidence behind and it was shoddy work. The judge said that himself yesterday, so, no, we're going to be here as long as it takes. We're on our schedule, not on Mr. Baez's schedule," Padilla said.
Sheriff's investigators expected to wrap their search Wednesday, but now say it could be days before they finish. They said the discovery of more "significant' evidence Wednesday prompted them to expand their search area.
During a news conference Wednesday, Padilla said the sheriff's office is assuming the remains belong to little Caylee. The remains were found about a quarter mile away from the Anthony family home.
Authorities don't know when the DNA test results will come back, but they are confident that a positive identification will be made.
Baez's office told News 13 they haven't heard anything about positive identification on the remains of a small child found near Casey's home.
They also said they won't make a decision about what's next until news comes of that identification.

Today's updates:
Casey Anthony purchases pad, pencils and snacks
3:04 p.m.
Murder suspect Casey Anthony, using money in her jail account, has purchased a sketch pad, colored pencils, playing cards and an assortment of packaged food and candy, according to documents just released by the Orange County Jail. She made purchases today and Wednesday totaling $53.27 Her account, funded with donations from her father and others, now has a balance of just under $400, records show. She is being held at the jail on no bond
Sources at the sheriff's office confirm FBI examining hair samples
8:55 a.m. Hair samples found in the bag containing the child's remains were shipped to the FBI's lab, a source at the Orange County Sheriff's Office said today.
However, sheriff's office spokesman Captain Angelo Nieves would not confirm other items under investigation.
"We know that the court team spoke about a 3-inch piece of bone that would be used during the identification process; we have not provided any identification of items recovered at the scene except for the skull and bag," Nieves wrote in an e-mail to the Orlando Sentinel. "The sheriff responded to a question on the first day regarding any clothing being present and he replied that there was none at this time, in other words [it is] too early to tell."

Casey Anthony Defense Worried Police Are Tampering With Evidence, Accuse Cops of Lying
Thursday, December 18, 2008
A spokesman for Casey Anthony's defense lawyer accused police of lying to the press and suggested they could be tampering with evidence at the site where a little child's bones were found.
Todd Black, a spokesman for Anthony's lead attorney Jose Baez, complained that investigators won't let the defense team observe their work at the scene where remains believed to be those of Anthony's daughter Caylee were discovered.
"Some of their comments are blatant lies," Black told FOXNews.com. "History has shown that in some cases authorities have been caught tampering with evidence. That is something we hope is not happening. We're not accusing anyone of anything."
Meanwhile, police said the bones discovered in the Caylee Anthony investigation could be identified by the end of the week.
Orange County, Fla., Sheriff's investigators were back at the wooded Orlando-area crime scene Thursday in their exhaustive dig for evidence. They hope their search will be completed by the end of the day.
"The projected time release was maybe today or this evening," Capt. Angelo Nieves, an Orange County Sheriff's spokesman, told FOXNews.com. "They're still working on debris right now. It could be tomorrow. ... Identification will hopefully come soon."
Nieves remained tight-lipped about the nature of the evidence detectives have found at the site, less than half a mile from where then 2-year-old Caylee lived with her mother and maternal grandparents.
Anthony, 22, has been charged with the little girl's murder and is being held in jail without bond.
Among the lies Black is accusing the sheriff's office of telling are statements about clothing found with the child's remains and the implication that the area where they were discovered hadn't been searched before.
Black said EquuSearch volunteers were the only ones who hadn't previously scoured the wooded lot.
"When [police] started searching for that child, they went into that area several times — with dogs, with people. Not once, but several times," Black said. "It's kind of suspicious."
He suggested the bones might have been dumped there by the person Anthony says took her daughter.
"It seems like somebody may have been waiting ... somebody may have thought, they're done with that area, so let's dump it," Black said. "If that occurred, Miss Anthony was locked up all that time."
The defense is backing Anthony's claim that her daughter was kidnapped by a baby sitter named Zenaida Gonzalez, a name police say is made up.
Caylee vanished in June, two months shy of her third birthday. Before a meter reader stumbled upon a child's skull and bones last Thursday, detectives had little to go on in the way of forensic evidence that could prove a murder.
Police have unearthed clues every day since the skeletal remains turned up in the privately-owned wooded lot, said Orange County Sheriff's spokesman Carlos Padilla.
"We can't specify ... but we continue to find evidence that's significant to the case," Padilla told FOXNews.com on Wednesday.
During a hearing this week, an attorney for the sheriff's office said the bones were a little girl's.
"We have not been told that the remains are of a little girl," Padilla said. "She has not been identified. We are all assuming that it's Caylee Marie. We're all thinking of little Caylee. But again, that's not definitive."
The hair attached to the skull has been rumored to be long and light brown, like Caylee's, and the size and appearance of the remains also suggest a match.
Orange County Medical Examiner Dr. Jan Garavaglia — who has her own Discovery Channel TV show and calls herself "Dr. G." — is handling the tests.
The judge in the case said he'd reconsider Casey Anthony's attorneys' wish for a second autopsy at a later time if the remains are positively identified as Caylee's.
Circuit Court Judge Stan Strickland isn't allowing Anthony's attorneys to be privy to evidence collected at the crime scene, including photos, sketches and audio and video recordings. He said he couldn't let the defense "interfere" with a murder investigation.
Anthony's attorneys are opposed to that decision, according to Black, who said it is common for defense experts to observe the handling of evidence in a homicide investigation.
The defense has made "numerous attempts to preserve the evidence" near where the child's remains were found, he said, but police and prosecutors have been uncooperative.
"This has become a malicious, nasty case," Black told FOXNews.com. "Even in the worst cases, like O.J. Simpson, I've never seen an investigation tell a defense team to go to hell."
Though he admitted police haven't actually uttered those words, he said "their conduct tells you that," because they haven't kept the defense team informed.
Caylee was last seen June 16, less than two months before she turned 3. Casey Anthony waited a month to report her daughter missing. She maintains she dropped her little girl off with Gonzalez and another woman in an apartment complex parking lot and saw them drive away.
Police say she made up her story and nearly everything else she has told them.
Caylee's grandparents, George and Cindy Anthony, have asked for privacy until the bones are identified.
Casey Anthony is alone in a cell and has no contact with other prisoners. Black said she was "emotional" when first told of the discovery but is holding up.
"She's a lot calmer than she was before," Black said. "She is doing the best she can. This is her daughter."

Well, my computer decided to try to commit suicide last night, so I had to play catch-up today. Gator, you take care of yourself. I've been there myself, about 10 years ago I was diagnosed with Colitis. Learned real quick to take better care of myself, and no symptoms for over 5 years.
I'm a little bit concerned with the sheriff's office making statements to the press. I know that they are trying like heck to keep everyone up to the minute with the information coming in at hyper speed, but I'm so afraid that they are going to say something and someone will hear it and when this goes to trial that the statement will come back to haunt them, and there will be room for reasonable doubt.
I'm also sitting here on pins and needles waiting for the absolute identification of the remains so everything can proceed forward.
Thanks for the hot Haterade, I'll be needing it more than ever tonight and tomorrow with the "ice storm" and 6" of snow heading my way, or so the weatherpeople say.

"How dare this son of a b!tch refer to Caylee as it? WTF is wrong with these people? "
Loretta-sweetie-
I can understand how you feel, but take a couple of things into consideration.
1-I think that Todd Black was saying what he THINKS the imaginary killer would have thought. They may have viewed the BODY-an inanimate corpse-as no longer a human being, since Todd believes someone else killed Caylee, and had no love for her.
2-Let me relate a small story. This actually happened to me at a family reunion over 20 years ago.
My oldest daughter was VERY HYPERACTIVE and emotionally disturbed, and was raising UNHOLY HELL at my aunt's house.
I grabbed her by the arm, and was taking her into the house for a time-out, and my know-it-all cousin-who was about 19 at the time-with no children-butted into the situation and asked why I was hauling my daughter off.
I told her-and I quote-"I'm handling it-just mind your own business and go back to your pals."
She FREAKED-and accused my of referring to my daughter as an "IT". I stopped dead in my tracks, and told her I was referring to the SITUATION as "IT"-and NOT my daughter, and to mind her own G-D business.
Had she actually been paying attention to the whole scenario, she would have known what happened, and what I meant, but she was just sticking her nose where it didn't belong.
So I know about the whole "IT" thing.
3-Caylee was a living breathing human child, and deserves love and respect, however, some people feel that once the person is dead, that body is just a shell, and they emotionally detach from the body, because they feel that the soul of that person is in the next world, and the body is an empty wrapper.
That's my thoughts on Todd referring to "it" in the above article.
NOT THAT I AGREE-but I think it's a matter of context and who is speaking or thinking.

He said that she had run out of gas on the corner and someone helped to push the car into the parking lot. I hope LE found this person, he could possibly tell if the car smelled then or not. That would blow Cindy's story about garbage sitting in the car for 2 weeks.

BTW ~
Don't know if any of you caught dr. Phil ( I wouldn't have, except that I was wrapping xmas presents and kept changing channels hoping for a press conference on the DNA findings)..
He had on a 'body language expert'. Now, I don't know much about that kind of stuff, but they went over clips of videos of the teleconversations in jail with C & G........ More than once, she pointed out deception, defensiveness, even in the most simplest of conversations, which we now know she was lying about. Shaking her head no, while saying 'yes' to certain answers.......Phil asked her "so you think she is lying ?" and she cut him off with " I KNOW she is lying". Micky Sherman  Michele Bart  singing the same ol song, Lisa Bloom... and Nejame was asked why HE didn't speak directly with Casey, since he was saying his goal was to help C & G find Caylee......... He said it wasn't his place to do that , besides, she is so protected, he couldn't speak with her if she wanted to (my words)Phil asked about him not being able to get to her, and NeJame said to "draw your own conclusions".
Why wouldn't Baez let NeJame, who is on the same side, so to speak, have a conversation with her? It would have been private, I imagine..? Especially if they were all about trying to find Caylee...
They're all a bunch of sneaks :cuss:
It took Jessica D'Onofrio 7 min. exactly to walk to the crime scene, which Casey took every day to go to school when she was younger. She knew that area by the woods very well..........
I just started watching it now and it started with Jessica walking to the area. It is really close and I think Casey probably panicked and dumped the body.

Headline news has been all over it-keep checking the news channels, its being treated as big hot news...To sum up, the search area is expanded due to more bones being found, and the tipster was the same guy, the meter reader. He called 3 days in a row in August, an officer was sent out August 13, then the meter reader went back and found the skull last week. The police are investigating to see what exactly happened on the August officer check...
Aside from the weirdness of the meter reader, it does establish that the body was there since at least 8/11. But what this does to the chain of custody...

I agree if they did support they wouldn't care about being recorded and they would simply comfort her. I think maybe they are using their pastor as go-between.

Anyone think Morgan will press for contempt charges on the Anthony's if they refuse to show on Monday?
That is odd news about the Meter Reader. I think the defense ,due to his last name, is going to run with this info like their hair is on fire. Personally, I think a higher power had it in store for this particular person to find Caylee's remains.
I would love to know if when LE searched the house after the find if they found CAYLEE'S actual hairbrush since Cindy would not come off it. There's more than one way to skin a cat so to speak.
I am just frustrated because like all of you I want to know but understand why FBI and LE are taking their time so they WON'T be accused of tampering. Why on earth would LE want to 'frame' Liar. She did that all by herself. Surely, they have fingerprints and perhaps the FBI is just waiting for the right time to present ALL of the damning evidence.
One thing is for sure. When the REAL truth finally comes out we are either all going to look stupid or the Anthony's owe quite a few people an apology. Yes, I feel for them because they have been duped by Liar but when both parents admit she is a liar and then opt to believe the biggest lies she has ever told that goes past denial. That steps over the line into cover-up. JMO.

So, meter reader smelled something and saw a bag by the SIDE of the road. He called it in. No response. So he called again. Nada. Finally on August 13, a cop is sent out. Cop finds nothing (?) (and again ? Nice job!). So after the rains end, meter reader is still curious, pokes around and find bag and skull (further away from the road???), calls it in, realizes it looks real odd and he (allegedly) has the same name as non-existent nanny, so he says he was going potty. Also, that means he was NOT on the clock since he could call it a break.
Makes sense? (There would be SO much more evidence in August!!!! And the body would be more or less intact...) Aaargh.

Well, he DID call 3 days in a row. I'm guessing he was "reassured" on day 3 that it was looked at and he put it out of his mind. Too wet to look for 3 months (I'm guessing he does that neighborhood on the 11th of each month), but keeps seeing the search on the news, so last week decides to check if the site was really checked. Lo and behold, it was not.
How come there is no icon that sums up my feelings about the bag not being found in August? I totally understood not finding it until THIS!
I see it differently; the Four Finger Family knew that they would be recorded, and they had the whole kidnapping and key skit planned and simply acted it out for the camera. There is no way that they didn't discuss this business privately before Casey was arrested.
I was thinking the same thing. I think Cindy asking Casey if anyone had been in the house was just a prompt. I believe the whole thing was scripted for the camera.
The Four Finger Family -- that cracked me up!

Spot on mu8shark, it was so creepy listening to her constantly referencing how she didn't want to be in jail and how she looked like hell but she hardly ever mentioned Caylee by name and seemed more concerned about the way she looked than the fact her daughter was still supposedly missing and in danger of being killed. She is just wrong wrong wrong! It is strange to watch someone who is trying to imitate emotions they have never actually experienced.

So the first time the meter reader called in, he didn't meet with the deputy, but the third time he did. So had the bag been dragged into the woods by then? I get that the situation must have been nagging the meter reader, but you would think with all the brouhaha going on with the continuing searches, he would have kept calling instead of waiting until four months after seeing the bag. Or that he would have requested a copy of the report to see what had been done. I still don't really understand how he could know that this bag was the same bag.

Lee knows Liar is a thief...do you think he would let her have a key to his place? NO WAY!
I doubt he would have given her a key either but I an positive Casey would have made a copy or have had a way to get in and out of his house if she needed to. The only reason she wouldn't go there much would be Melanie. She couldn't ring Melanie in the same way she could her parents to check if she was going to go over to Lees place so she would be worried that Mel might turn up while she was there. imo.

New Crime Scene Photos Released
Thursday, December 18, 2008 6:37:11 PM
ORLANDO -- At a press conference Thursday afternoon, Capt. Angelo Nieves said "significant" skeletal remains have been found outside the perimeter of the search area. They also said they are consistent with that of a small child.
Nieves also said the utility worker who found the remains on Dec. 11 called in a tip on Aug. 13. The sheriff's office would not go into details on the tips. A deputy did respond to the tip. They are investigating to see how thoroughly the deputy investigated the tip.
Investigators have re-questioned the utility worker. At this time, they have no reason to make him a suspect.
Nieves mentioned Baez will get first dibs at looking at the crime scene once the authorities are done searching the area. The search has been extended until at least Friday afternoon, and possibly into the weekend.
Meanwhile, the sheriff's office has also released photos from the scene.
Shortly after the press conference, News 13 received a statement from Todd Black, Jose Baez’s spokesman.
“This is a perfect example of why the public and the media should not be pre-judging this case. And Casey Anthony should be given the presumption of innocence until after all the facts and all the information is revealed.
There is absolutely no doubt that law enforcement is continuing to withhold vital information, and it would be probably be a good idea for the meter reader to retain an attorney.”

I don't think these wrinkles will hurt, they add credence to the idea that the body was not dumped there recently but had been in that spot for some time and I think a lot of people would have thought 3 calls to LE was bugging the #$%^ out of them. It also lends more weight to the reason why he would choose that spot to take a leak. I think he probably did need to go to the toilet and thought 'well if I have to go into the woods anyway I might as well take a look at the area and see if anything is there.' I think the coincidence of the last name is another blessing in disguise because you would assume that if he was related to someone involved in taking little Caylee it would be very easy to identify that person now BUT when they can't it will just confirm what is already known, 'there is no Zenaida Gonzales!' imo.

[QUOTE=tvdinner;9146944]I have a question -- if Casey killed Caylee between 1 PM and 3 PM on June 16 as most people believe (me included) and it was chloroform that led up to her death then what was she doing chloroforming her early in the day? Her clubbing was in the evenings. Applesandorange had a good theory in her last post. :) It's hard to get into the twisted mind of Casey Anthony.[quote/ Hi TV I remember you from the other OJ thread and pleasantly LOL. You know my cousin and I were talking about the theory she killed her between 1 and 3 pm and my cousin had the exact question you did, who goes to clubs or parties at that time of day, most of Caseys friends would have been working or at school . Looking at Apples theory that she took her swimming and wanted her out of the way just for the night or permanently by the time Tony came home does make sense. He said Casey could stay over but was uncomfortable having Caylee stay the night. You know that after that fight with Cindy, no way was Casey going to ask her Mom to watch Caylee that for the night , so she may have chloroformed her then. Also if she did it on purpose something Caylee did that day may have rushed her or pushed over the edge. I don't mean this as blame the three year old but if you are thinking about killing your child because you are tired of her and mad at grandma and trying to decide when to do it and your three year does what any little three year can, act stubborn, sassy or does not listen, maybe she it just pushed her at that moment in the middle of the day. Of COURSE they say this Zenaida isn't the right Zenaida. But if the right Zenaida IS found, they'll say it's not her either. They can round up every ZG on the face of the earth and the story will morph into her having used an alias.
I'm assuming that the basis for this particular ZG is that she did visit the Sawgrass Apartments and fill out a registration card coupled with the fact that she lost her job over the whole business.
There were searches on her computer for a Zenaida Gonzalez (pages 9,10):
http://www.wftv.com/download/2008/0926/17564976.pdf
As the search for Zenaida Gonzales was done the day after Casey was located and told that Caylee was kidnapped, I always figured that it was either Cindy or Lee, trying to get information on Zenaida.

Casey Anthony Defense Worried Police Are Tampering With Evidence, Accuse Cops of Lying
Thursday, December 18, 2008
"Some of their comments are blatant lies," Black told FOXNews.com. "History has shown that in some cases authorities have been caught tampering with evidence. That is something we hope is not happening. We're not accusing anyone of anything."
Though he admitted police haven't actually uttered those words, he said "their conduct tells you that," because they haven't kept the defense team informed.
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,469545,00.html
This just makes me furious. It is not LE's conduct that should be of concern here but that of the defense team. How dare they throw these types of accusations around. It is as if they are purposely trying to upset LE. I can only think of one way that would be of benefit to them. All of the evidence they will b3e given is going to implicate Casey so I think they are trying to upset LE so much that they make the mistake of holding back on something important. This would give the defense more grip when they go to accuse LE with tampering with evidence and withholding evidence pertaining to the case. Unfortunately for them LE seem to be 'cool, calm and collected' and it is unlikely that their pathetic attempts at goading the police will have any effect at all.

...They also revealed that the utility worker who reported the find of a child’s skull a week ago had been on the scene before and had also called authorities to report a strange odor and something in the woods that was ‘just not right’ in the same area on August 11, 12 and 13th...
http://www.myfoxorlando.com/myfox/pages/Home/Detail?contentId=8102759&version=3&locale=EN-US&layoutCode=TSTY&pageId=1.1.1
So we saw the video last night on Greta and the area was high and dry and there was bupkis except for litter. Then the meter reader smells a strange odor and calls it in. Then TES can't search the area because of high water, except one of the searchers took photos that prove that the area wasn't really underwater at all and the bag wasn't there.
LE has never asked for this person to come forward.
We all know that the Liar lies for the heck of it even when it's not necessary or makes any sense. It could be that she lied about getting someone to push the car. I thought I remembered reading or hearing that the car wasn't really out of gas?

The first time, the bag was apparently on the side of the road rather than in the woods.

From what I heard tonight on myfoxorlando, on Aug 11 he called crimestoppers and nothing; Aug 12 he called police and no one came out; Aug 13 he called police again and a deputy came out but cleared the scene.
Brad Coway - ants attny- recommends the meter reader get an attorney.
I knew there was going to be a problem with that location. It was just so close to the street that it had to have been found sooner. Maybe this news is a good thing.
Gator Of for F's sake, now Conway said the meter reader needs an attorney, so now the meteor reader killed Caylee? Is this where he is going? How absurd. First of al there are tons of junk out there so how could they say it was the same bag. Secondly I heard they had found bones way at the other end of the search area. If this is true, this is good news because it indicates the bag of bones was moved around and not by a person. After all , what idiot would move the bag of bones and scatter it all around the area. It is more likely that weather and animals moved this bag around. Now Janie Weintrab is trying to implicate the meter reader. They will do elimination prints and look into his background for sure, it is early yet and they don't yet know how eac call was resolved. Also it is good the police are being forthcoming about this, so the defense can't accuse them of trying to hide a suspect, which I am sure they would love to. If there was any odor at all and he reported a bag and they checked the bag and there was nothing to it, then it does not seem so out there. They willl resolve this.
:) It's hard to get into the twisted mind of Casey Anthony.[quote/] Hi TV I remember you from the other OJ thread and pleasantly LOL. Good to see you over here TV
Thanks for the welcome, mu8shark, and I'm glad you remember me pleasantly. :o
You might be right that she had it planned and then something Caylee did made her snap and do it then. I've often thought the same about Scott Peterson and OJ Simpson -- that they fantasized about it and then something pushed them to carry it through.

They had so many false tips coming in at that time it would be hard to take them all seriously. (Especially one so close to "home". Also, as LP said, Casey kept mentioning Jay Blanchard Park over and over but then told only Lee that Caylee was close to home. If I were going to try and get rid of a body the last place I would put it would be close to home. Liar knew this and kept leading searchers to JBPark.
Perhaps LE did drop the ball a bit on THIS tip but, good grace, no one is infallible. Even LE.
Still waiting to hear the bomb about fingerprints. And IMO I restate that if G&C for one second had any questions, doubt or denial at this point you can bet even a dog muzzle much less a new attorney could shut Cindy up.

Those visits were during her first incarceration before Padilla bailed her out.

...They also revealed that the utility worker who reported the find of a child’s skull a week ago had been on the scene before and had also called authorities to report a strange odor and something in the woods that was ‘just not right’ in the same area on August 11, 12 and 13th...
http://www.myfoxorlando.com/myfox/pages/Home/Detail?contentId=8102759&version=3&locale=EN-US&layoutCode=TSTY&pageId=1.1.1
But remember, the video was taken on Aug 5 and Fay came through on Aug 17 and Tim searched around Sept 7. Also the neighbors told police that water did not recede until 10 days ago So no there was not water on Aug 5, but TES did not search until Sept,so water could of and probably did accumulate after the hurricane and certainly after Aug 5. I think that video is irrelevant as I don't think LE or Tim had even done a search there on Aug 5,. As for the woman who supposedly has a photo of the exact spot of ground, who knows if that is right? I find that odd she took a photo of the exact spot of ground .Also I heard earlier that LE has found bones clear at the other end of the search area, indicating that bag was probably not in the same spot during all the weather disturbances, it was moved by weather and animals. I can't really ascertain anything suspicious till they see when the woman with the photos actually took a photo and exactly where, just my opinion.

Hmmm...I should have read this before I posted mine.
This is very believable. Maybe at the time she and Tony were at Blockbuster, Liar may just have thought Caylee was 'sleeping' in the car?
You don't leave a child in the car or trunk in Florida in the middle of June. Temperature inside of the car would reach 120 within 10 minutes. Children have been left in the car for 20 minutes and suffered heat stroke.
My point is, it was intentional and not an accident. I bet she would not have left one of her dogs in a car in June locked up because she new it would die.

The defense has no good defense so they need to question LE's tactics. They are saying we are not saying they are planting evidence but if they don't let us have our way, listen jury pool, they might be planting evidence, something is fishy, don't look at our defendant , look how we are not getting our way, it must mean something suspicious. It is not suspicious , it is called legal procedure and the judge made the right call.

Okay, I just had a really out there kind of thought. IF the responding officer to the guy German Gonzales was Tony Rusciano and I mean IF, because I don't think it has even been confirmed that this is really the meter readers nameand I also don't know if TR could have responded, BUT if he did would he ignore the find and maybe even consider moving it for Casey or even just giving her a heads up? Not long after this timeframe TR's relationship with Casey was discovered and he was fired so any ideas he might have had about warning her would quickly dissapate at this point but could it possibly have been TR who responded to the meter readers call initially.
Ok now I have written it I am convinced it is unlikely but then so much in this case has been unlikely.

I guess my point was that this is likely much ado about nothing unless it turns out that the deputy went and had a beer instead of answering the tip. We have no way of knowing if the bag on the side of the road contained Caylee or if it was the same bag that he later found that did contain Caylee. We know about the flooding and the time that it took for the water to recede. It's possible that someone who was authorized to take pictures did so during the TES search that acurately dipicts the water level. And I don't give a lot of credence to the the marallena poster who took pix despite the fact that she had agreed not to, and then chose to sashay out in the middle of a media blitz to talk to deputies. Yeah, they may be time and date stamped, but how can she (or we) assume those photos were made anywhere near where the remains were found?

Those visits were during her first incarceration before Padilla bailed her out. Oh i think CIndy was throwing little suggestions her way to make the story sound better. When she asks her is something threatening them, she has to ask it twice before Casey kind of answers, yes lets leave it at that and when she ask her about Zanny having a key it is for a reason , Cindy wants a way to suggest that if evidence is eventually found that comes back to that house somebody came in the house and did the comp searches and used stuff that could be tied to the house. By the way Jane Velez Mitchells coverage is so biased toward the defense. She just made a statement about 40 people not being in the crime scene and how bad that is. The FBI knows what it is doing.

Tipster reported gray bag in August
5:19p.m.
In August, the meter reader called the Crimline tip line and the Orange County Sheriff's Office to report that a gray bag was on the "right side of the road" near Hopespring and Suburban drives.
Wasn't Caylee's remains found in a black bag?

LE has never asked for this person to come forward. How F ing weird is this? I mean when I call for someone to pick me up , out of gas or car broken down, I don't start walking away after the call. I think that is bizarre. Sounds like somebody did not want somebody to smell the back of the car. Anybody else just take off after they call their husband, boyfriend or friend.? She did the exact same thing when she was walking the first time on Chickasaw Drive. Is it possible that Caylee drowned in the pool and it wasn't chloroform that was detected in the trunk of the car? Could it be chlorine from the pool water? No it is not possible. Although there are similiar elements on the sophisticated equipment that the FBI has they are decidely different compounds . Early on a renowed chemist Jeff Flowers clarified this, so it is not me being a genious. LOL

I hope it is from separate donors and separate funds. I also think at the end of this someone needs to look into this Caylee fund and make sure the money was spent appropriately. Also I heard some tv station paid for the Ritz stay, now you know they want something in return. I guess the Ants are too good for Motel 6. You know something I am not convinced she did not try to stage a drowning.I still think that is possible. When I looked up the dog hits there was one by the side of the pool, it was not in the those words but it was something by the edge or something of the pool. So I just wonder in those flurry of phone calls if Casey had killed her and she was thinking of calling Mom and Dad and saying, OMG Caylee drown and then something made her think, man this won't work. Maybe it occured to her all of a sudden that an immediate autopsy would not bear out a drowning.

Hmmmn. Earlier today, before the news conference, reporters were commenting that last night in the dark investigators were using uv lights to search. They commented that (of course) blue light can show body fluids, such as saliva semen and URINE (my emphasis). So since it doesn't seem likely these fluids or traces would have survived through the extreme weather since June...could they have been looking for the proverbial "yellow snow" to corroborate the Meter Readers wee wee story???
