How do I close my account?

Why do you want to close your account? I don't think you can close it. You can probably send a PM to the Administrator of this board if you really want to have your nic deleted, etc.


I am beginning to think this board is "tainted" as well.

I keep getting emails that a certain IP address has attempted to login to my account unsuccessfully and it is locked out for 15 minutes. When I looked up the IP it was from a known string of spammer's IP addresses in Asia and Europe. I don't use the account anyway, and I would hate to see a spammer clog up these boards under my name.

Thanks One2Snoop. I actually found that thread after I posted mine. The original question on that thread was also how to close an account and it was also not answered, so I'm beginning to think an account cannot be closed. I find that a bit silly.

You can have your account deleted - I think someone mentioned you will need to contact the administrator. You can send a pm to Deepwater with your request. From my understanding there's no way for you to delete the membership yourself. Hope that helps. :patriot:
