Did any of you see in the new the bids being put in for the expansion of Death Row inmates, which will cost millions of tax payers dollars for the likes of Death Row inmates Scott Peterson, Richard Ramirez, Joseph Duncan III who murdered and raped 9 yr old Dylan Greoane killed his family and his little sister Shasta survived to tell the tale?
My God! Why must these killers that have been convicted in a court of law be allowed to live one moment longer than necessary and the expense of their upkeep be forced on society,he families of these killers. Can anyone tell me if something is being done about this? I really need to know!

Ca. has more than 650 inmates on DR and has only put 13 to death since the DP was reinstated. It's a joke as far as I'm concerned. There are a few that have been on DR as far back as the late 70's. With only 13 being put to death the chances of being executed in Ca. are slim to none. You have a better chance of winning the lotto then being put to death for killing someone.

Based on its history, I do believe that California will eventually get rid of the death penalty. I think the state is more liberal than we really know.

OK Drummy, so what is up with the signature? Is it meant to be provocative or is it just me?

I'm in EST and yes, I was up late. I don't sleep very well at night so it's not unusual for me to be up until 2 or so.
