Neil really looks like a totally detached person. As with Scott Peterson, he wanted material things but not the responsibility of a child. I am glad he will be locked up for a long, long time.

I can never quite understand Entwistles motives.
I am assuming he intended to commit suicide after murdering his wife and infant daughter. He had no problem killing but I guess the coward didn't have the guts to finish himself off.
Fair enough he was deep in debt...however, there are various options available rather than murder.

I never thought NE was going to commit suicide. I do believe that once he made it to England he thought he would be "home free". Not being from the USA I don't think he realized that not all states have the DP and that he would be extradited. JMO

I can never establish why NE resorted to murder. He had every intention of selling the story to one of our UK tabloids. So therefore, there was not one ounce of remorse.
I have heard of cases where someone heavily in debt kills their family and commits suicide.
However, there are so many options available. You can get financial advice and there are many people willing to listen.
Evil man...no excuses. Could have run back to England if he had problems. Didn't have to murder his wife and daughter.

I read an article about his life in prison so far, and one of the prisoners punched him in the stomach. They have moved him into protective custody. I can't find the article now. That was just after the IS boards went down. I hope he cowers in fear for the rest of his life. :flamemad:

ITA.
I think anyone that murders a child should not be given the option of protective custody. Ian Huntley (Soham girls) and Roy Whiting (murderer and rapist of Sarah Payne) have been physically attacked in jail.
Why protect them? No one protected these little angels. Therefore, they don't deserve protection.
Grrrrrr! :flamemad:
