Need a bit of research help

I am hoping to find out what type of auto was used by J. Edgar Hoover during the period 1930-1935. I'm thinking of featuring him in my 2009 Gangster Car calendar, in which I am drawing portraits of 12 bad guys and law enforcement officers from the "Prohibition/Depression" Era and their cars. If I can't find info on Hoover's favorite car, maybe I'll get lucky and find a pic or info on the car Melvin Purvis owned..
