New here, and I must admit that...

...I've had an interest in serial killers for awhile now. I actually interviewed Charles Manson awhile back (you can check it out by scrolling down to the Cs here: http://www.tlchicken.com/interviews.php) and kept in touch with him even after the interview.

I'm a freelance writer, and I've written a few comic books for Image Comics. This August I'm releasing a two-issue mini-series with Image called "The Roberts."

The premise is this: two old guys become friends in a retirement community and they hit it off really well. They soon realize that they have something in common: they're both notorious serial killers who have never been caught. One of them is the Boston Strangler. The other is the Zodiac Killer. They're both named Robert. Hence the title.

I'm going to include the first ten pages below, and if you'd like to see more, just let me know. I'll be coming to the boards pretty often.

Also, as a side note, I wrote 15 convicted serial killers in jail asking them to answer a question for the collected book. So far I've only heard back from Richard Ramirez, but I'll post that in the next few days when I get a scan of the letter.

hey, i can't promise anything, but i'll try my best to take care of her.

as a sidenote, i've named the two main characters after my grandfathers. they are their REAL NAMES.

Zodiac is Robert Joseph Steib.
Boston Strangler is Robert Kenneth Sprunger.

Kind of my dark homage to them. Heh.
