Do the old rules still apply when it comes to starting new threads or can anyone now start a new thread or only mods and admins?

Bumping this - I've been asked several times (recently) about starting new threads. I'm not a person of authority here but I assume anyone can start a new thread on whatever topic they like provided its not "SPAM", ADVERTISING" of any kind (someone promoting their own message board) or some "DISTURBED" individual who is "SILENTLY HUNTING" others to kill.

Who can start a new forum on a particular subject? Would that have to be a mod? If a separate forum can't be started, how do we go about selecting a location (amongst the current forums) for the new thread/s? Thanks One2Snoop for your help.

Only mods can start forums, isn't that right???

I'd write deepwater and ask. If she does not respond (and don't be surprised if she does not lol), post about the topic here if you have a question about where a thread would best fit. We can put our heads together and figure out a good spot. :patriot:

I asked a friend of mine who also uses Vbulletin and she said only admins can start a forum/subforum.

E2 if you want to start a thread on JBR I would suggest you post it under
"Open Discussion" or "Other Hot Stories".

If she does not respond (and don't be surprised if she does not lol),

LOL FDInLaw. :seeya:
