"Did anyone here in your group see the shooters?"

"We saw three guys with guns and then we saw a really tall guy in a black trench coat."

-News footage, Channel 9 News, Denver

Q: What do Eric Harris, Dylan Klebold, Chris Morris and Robert Perry have in common?

A: They were all named by eyewitnesses as shooters during the April 20, 1999 attack on Columbine High School.

My name is Evan Long and on October 8, 2007, I published a video called "The Columbine Cause".

It's an examination of the April 20, 1999 attack on Columbine High School which focuses on witness statements indicating up to a dozen attackers that day in addition to the official killers.

In the video, I present evidence that not just one or two, but dozens of witnesses described such individuals, including at least one adult gunman and many trenchcoated teenagers inside and outside the school, some of whom some of the witnesses were able to identify as current and former CHS students.

The video, a transcript, notes and more may be accessed on the internet from:

Thanks for your attention.

Sincerely,
Evan Long

A couple of days ago they were holding a trial on a school shooting. They had the defendant, a teenager, on the stand and he didn't show any remorse and seem to be deflecting the blame. :flamemad:

I am with you Evan.... I feel like there is something there that people either ignored, or didn't want to persue. I want to know more about Robert Perry. Please check your PM's when you have a chance.

Anyone who wants to know more about Columbine, told to me by someone who lived there at the time, may PM me.

That place was a disaster waiting to happen, although the same can probably be said about most large high schools.

why are people selling guns to teens?
I think the bigger problem is parents not paying enough attention to their kids

I agree with you on that one.

The warning signs with these two could be seen a mile away.

And as with so many other cases of tragedy, it seems the cops were more interested in their doughnut consumption than looking into the threats that Eric Harris posted on his website directed to Brooks Brown.

As infuriated as I am that Eric and Dylan acted out on their thoughts, I cannot help but feel sorry for them. They were merely a month from graduation. One day they would have realized just how insignificant high school really is in the grand scheme of one's life.

If you may recall the killers exploited a glitch in the system of purchasing firearms in the USA. A better question would be 'Why did Robyn K. Anderson buy them the guns?'.

Both of the killers were certainly Sociopaths or Psychopaths. There are different arguments supporting both the theories that the killers were either Sociopaths or Psychopaths.

There is a fundamental symptom of being a Psychopath and a Sociopath.

They use the art of deceipt. Something we know Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold did in covering their tracks leading up to the killings. Both the parents were not stupid at all - far from it in fact. They were conned by their children.

Remember the fact that no parent wants to think of their child as being a Psychopath, a Sociopath or a High School killer.

I think you are right
we are all smarter in hindsight...
we should focus our energy on educating the children :) instead of blaming every one
we all should be aware of our neighborhood
