During some searching for information related to the Shanda Shearer, I happened upon a story I've not heard about nor am I finding much information about. The link to the page I'm referencing is below. If you scroll past then entry regarding Shanda, you'll find the case I'm referring to.

Thank you Raven for the information. I did a search for both the victim and the her abuser, but it came back with no results. Perhaps I did it incorrectly.

If you scroll past the information regarding Shanda on the link I posted in my opening post, the next case is regarding a 10 year old child names Kay Frances Erickson. Violent John Berling was tried for her murder in 1951.

I searched Crime Library for Kay Frances Erickson and nothing came up. What a sad story. It reminds me a lot of Sylvia Likens. :(

It is incredibly sad that this poor little girl's story has become lost :(

I only managed to find this:
