we can try.many others try.
What do you think of this for an opening? As he stood transfixed, he could not believe his good luck. The voice on the phone told him that he would be investigating his own crime. How fortuitous-this would provide him with the perfect opportunity to plant the murder weapon. As he headed toward the door, his smile to his partner, Bob Robus, hid the evilness within his soul and the horrifying crime he had committed. I think we must collaborate through pms after this. :)

As you know, I am not a great proponent of works of fiction. However, I am in favor of the American Dream being available to all-ching, ching, $ $ $ bills. :)

Aww...here I thought you were writing the Great American Novel...my mistake. By the way, William, the American dream is available to all Americans...rejoice and celebrate this wonderful time in our nation's history. If I didn't know better I'd think your happiness at Mr. Obama being elected is dampened by the huge void it leaves you in the complaints-about-inequality department. Change is good. :)
Change is wonderful but dollars are better. The American Dream is not available to all, especially women. I will and do celebrate this momentous occasion in America's history but realize that, while much has been done, there is much left to do. Don't worry about the void. So long as there are women among us, which I hope there will always be, I can find something to complain about. :)

The American Dream is there for anyone with the desire to grab a piece of it. You might think about working on your own biased attitude toward women -- it's so unbecoming of you to continue to characterize us as annoyances for you to complain about. I don't feel like I've been treated as less of a person because I'm a woman...that must be coming from some of your feminazi associates...perhaps the lovely Ms. Chi? :)

O.J. Simpson’s co-defendant speaks out
Posted: 12:48 PM ET
LAS VEGAS, Nevada — It is not every day a journalist is able to sit face to face with someone facing life in prison, so when I received the opportunity to videotape an interview with O.J. Simpson’s co-defendant C.J. Stewart at the the Clark County detention center, my producer and I hopped a flight from New York bound for Las Vegas.
In Session correspondent Jean Casarez with C.J. Stewart at Clark County detention center
Stewart has changed since the October conviction on 12 counts stemming from kidnapping to armed robbery and conspiracy. He now sports a small beard and his once black hair is now sprinkled with silver grey highlights. Stewart is facing life in prison stemming from events that happened the night of September 13, 2007, when Simpson and his group of men went to the Palace Station hotel in Las Vegas to retrieve memorabilia that once belonged to Simpson.
Now, Stewart granted us that rare opportunity to hear from his viewpoint what happened that night and why he believes he has been wrongly convicted. Stewart told me he never knew about the guns that former co-defendants Michael McClinton and Walter Alexander had on them that night. He thinks it’s a 50-50 chance that Simpson asked McClinton and Alexander to bring guns that night.

". . .Stewart told me he remembers as they all were walking through the Palace Station’s lobby, toward room 1203, someone asked Thomas Riccio if he thought the men waiting in the room had guns. Stewart says those words were still on his mind as he entered the small hotel room and believed he saw victim Bruce Fromong reach for a gun. That’s why he said he initially walked towards Fromong in the room with plans to take the gun away. When I asked Stewart why he continued participating in the altercation when McClinton pulled out a gun, he told me he didn’t see it, and if he had, he would have taken it away from McClinton. . ."
okay -- sorry -- but this guy ought to get off just for being stupid or locked up for life for thinking everyone else is. . .
he thought Fromong was reaching for a gun so he walked over to him to take it away! LOL -- made me think of the old saying "He brought a gun to a knife fight"

I am glad that you feel like you have not been treated as less than a person. However, that has very little to do with equality. Women, except for Black Women, have always been treated as people. I complain that there is not equality for women. However, if you are satisfied, then perhaps you have reached that level of the American Dream that suits you and you can no longer empathize with those of your gender who are not. I respect your wishes to feel that you are equal and look for you to run, win the nomination for and be elected the First Female President. I know you have the authoritative qualities to hold the position. :)

IIRC, it was not too long ago and you said that you thought there was enough evidence later to support conviction. I think it was in a discussion about the verdicts. I may be wrong but we can look to see. I stand corrected after a quick search.

Lawyer: OJ, co-defendant face 18 years

LAS VEGAS—O.J. Simpson and a co-defendant face a recommended 18 years in prison in the gunpoint robbery and kidnapping of two sports memorabilia dealers, according to defense briefs and Simpson's lawyer.
Defense lawyers for the former football star and co-defendant Clarence "C.J" Stewart filed briefs Tuesday asking Clark County District Court Judge Jackie Glass for minimum prison terms when she sentences the two men Friday.
"If the judge chooses minimum sentences but runs them consecutively it would total 18 years," Simpson lawyer Gabriel Grasso said after filing an 11-page defense brief in response to a state Parole and Probation Division sentencing recommendation.
"We would like the judge to take our recommendation to heart and sentence (Simpson) to the minimum, six years," Grasso said.
Glass is not bound by the report and could sentence each of the men to the maximum term of life in prison.
Stewart's lawyer, Brent Bryson, also submitted a brief Tuesday asking the judge to disregard the state's sentencing recommendation.
"Stewart submits that given his minimal participation in the events ... as well as his lack of any prior criminal convictions, that (he) be sentenced to the minimum," Stewart's five-page brief said. . ."

History states that most judges give first time criminals the minimum but considrering the objective of the DA, the Nevada system and the judges reputation for being a hard azz, both may get very harsh sentencing.
I was wondering what the sentencing has been on other like cases in Nevada
for other defendants. But then again oj is different as far as the system is concerned.imo

I think Condi Rice realized that eight years with that group was enough and that with the religious right firmly in control of the republican party, she just wanted to get back to Standford since the NFL commissioner job was not available. Great decision by her. imo
But remember she is the one that told the American people that it was possible that we would experience a mushroom cloud if we did not invade Iraq. That was pure BS.IMO

Yes, you seemed to have missed the idea of technology. Why today a person is not limited to the city in which he resides! A person can visit many cities around the world in a very short time. He can appreciate all types of flowers? We live in a wonderful age, imho. However, in order to fully appreciate those beautiful flowers, a person must have an open heart and a receptive mind, imho, smile.

What Johnnie Cochran Really Thought About O.J.
It was late, nearing midnight, during O.J. Simpson's murder trial in Los Angeles. Simpson's lead attorney, Johnnie Cochran, had promised me an interview but had warned that we'd have to squeeze it in during off-hours. There weren't many off hours during the insanity of the Trial of the Century.
"Meet me at the office late," Cochran said.
How late, I asked.
"Doesn't matter," Cochran replied. "No matter how late you come, I'll be there."
Forty midnights in a row at the office had left the lawyer in a contemplative mood. The spectacle of the Simpson matter had long since ceased to impress or appall. Every bit of legal strategy and media manipulation had been combed over so incessantly that there really weren't many questions left to ask. So I asked the only question I was really curious about.
"Do you think he did it?" Defense lawyers usually recoil from that question. They either go off the record and say, "Of course he did it, but that doesn't matter, that's not my concern," or they issue some vague ritual denial all fluffed up with incantations about the sanctity of our legal system and every man's right to a vigorous defense.
Cochran by this point was well past ritual. So he dished, off the record, of course. Cochran died in 2005, so, by tradition of the craft, those comments are now fair game.
"There's something wrong with him," Cochran said, and he talked about other clients he'd had who somehow managed to persuade themselves that they hadn't done what they actually had done.
Simpson was a big star, a hero to some, a talented person. But, said Cochran, "I wouldn't believe him if he told me the sun was coming up again tomorrow morning."
And then the lawyer went back to work on a defense so wonderfully constructed that it got off a guy who had done a truly terrible deed.

Fred Goldman Wants to Drain Juice from Dealer

Fred Goldman isn't finished with O.J. yet -- well, O.J.'s stuff, to be exact.
Goldman's lawyers are filing an action against Mike Gilbert -- the memorabilia dealer who claims O.J. confessed to killing Ron and Nicole -- asking a judge to force Mike to give Fred everything he has that's Juice-related.
A letter to Gilbert's lawyers says the dealer promised to give Goldman the property during an appearance on the "Dr. Phil Show", but he never did.
Goldman is also filling a temporary restraining order against Gilbert -- a hearing is set for Dec. 12.

What a sick puppy you are, Weezer. Even some of Simpson's most strident detractors see the injustice in the sentence that he and Stewart were given.
Your attitude exemplifies why so many around the world see America as a joke when it comes to fairness and justice. If you're going to try the man at least try him for something that makes sense, and does not leave the justice system looking stupid and vengeful.
His sentence is so outrageous I truly don't believe that Simpson is going to be gone for too long a time. The sentence is absolutely vindictive when you weigh the prosecution's gift of immunity to Tom Riccio.
The sentence is so imbalanced that, imo, it amounts to an act of cruel and unusual punishment, a violation of Simpson's rights under the 8th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. Watch, the Riccio issue is going to embarrass this stupid judge and prosecutor in Las Vegas and cause this sentence and even possibly the whole trial to be overturned. They have too be a bunch of morons to impose this level of punishment against these men. The stupidity of this silly judge who keeps trying to deny the impossible; that she wasn't influenced by the 1995 criminal trial. Give me a break!

I really cannot speak authoritatively to what he meant but I can offer a different explanation, considering that he was still under a code of ethics to work in the best interest of his client, even if that meant not telling what his client may not have told him that someone else was the killer, whom the client knew, and this may have been his way of indicating that Simpson was not telling all and he suspected that. I hope I am saying this clearly, without mentioning names. Yes, I think that Simpson may have known the killer's identity and it may have been someone close to him and that he suspected Simpson was not telling the complete truth or, at least, that is another way of looking at what might be a coded statement.

Allow me to begin with the simplest first. I do not buy into the one bullet theory that traveled in the shape of a circle. I do not dismiss an idea because it is unpopular. As to the shoes, we just have to look at the testimony in the civil trial and there was no picture placing him in those shoes on the night of the murder. I know you place great value in an apparent lie. I do not see it as a lie. He said he did not own, not that he ever wore, a pair of those shoes. I am not saying who is right or wrong, only that we see things differently based on our life experiences.

Are we back on Jason Simpson being the murderer again? Certainly he wouldn't shield K1 and K2.
If oj was involved in the Golf referrals to the mob gambling site as it is reported that Nicole made serious disagreements about and if Gus and K2 did the killing,oj would have good reason not to expose them.
William Dear made a good argument for Jason being the killer.
I think he chose those shoes because he thought they were ugly and he knew he would throw them away afterwards.

We again have come back to the difference in experiences as to what value should be attributed to what things.
William
My experience would tell me that if Bloomingdales said oj never baught those ugly azz shoes on his shoe shopping trip in their store, then oj did not buy those ugly azz shoes from them.
I think that some would say i don't care what bloomingdales said oj MUST have baught the shoes otherwise there is reasonable doubt that he did.

I was addressing you post about his apparent lie. Now, whether he wore them to commit murder or not is a different subject. There were no shoes produced that he wore to commit murder. Your posts indicates an inference that he wore them but did not own them or owned and wore them, kept them until the date of the murders and wore them to commit the murders. Those are inferences based on inferences without evidence to support the first inference, which the criminal jury could not make.

I am sure you know and, pardon me for using this example but Ms. Palin, that they buy clothes for celebrities to wear to appear on tv and they do not own them, unless they choose to so do.
I read a comment where it was Cindy McCain that informed Palin that it would not be proper for Palin to be on stage with Cindy in Chanel outfits and Palin in some of those Walmart house dress she was seen in in Alaska.
The RNC agreed and hired a personal shopper to put this lady in some real clothes.
So celebrities get free clothes. Look at the tv on camera people all free clothes.

Even his defense lawyer admitted he was a liar and a murderer and you're the sick puppy? Riiight. ;)
Well, TV, you might be right about me being a sick puppy, because I don't understand what has happened in this country that has caused such a level of ignorance and stupidity in what I had so long perceived to be a country of intellgent people.
I'm sick because I don't read any where in Cochran's remarks that yo cited where he considered Simpson to be a murderer.
I'm sick because I have to take the time to tell someone that I would presume to be intelligent enough to know better that this is an improper post to have alleged, with no factual basis regarding Cochran.
I'm sick because I don't understand how a prosecutor and judge in Clark County Nevada would desire to impune the integrity of themselves and an otherwise respectable court in front of the world by failing to recognize the absurdity of granting immunity to one kidnapping conspirator and sentencing another to 33years in prison.
I'm sick because the media provides every opportunity for a fraud, Fred Goldman, to get to a microphone and yet have never attempted to due any due diligence in examining his background and/or his associations.
I'm sick because so called professional journalists have never asked Fred Goldman about a psychotic individual, on trial for attempted murder, with an alleged hostility against Goldman, and was in close proximity to his family at the time his son's murder. Although he mentions this individual seven times in his book His Name Is Ron, he never calls this individual he knows so well by his name. Yet news journalists find no interest in this; that is part of the public record.
I'm sick because the so called professional journalists have failed to do any type of meaningful due diligence in examining the irregularities of all of the contradictory and controversial evidence associated with the 1995 Simpson criminal trial. The questionable Brown commute and the absconded Brown telephone records are just getting larger, they can't be swept under a rug.
Except with certain people who simply can ignore the lumps.
I'm sick because I know that Ron Goldman has a criminal jacket that is thicker that a "Subway Sandwich" and LA Law enforcement officials keep rendering sorry ass excuses for disallowing a thorough examination of it.
I'm sick because those who report the news have seen no need to tell the world public about what is included in Ron Goldman's criminal background.
I'm sick in general about air heads that want to presume that something is true simply because someone told them so, journalists or not.
But what would I expect from someone like you anyway. We live in a country where otherwise so called "intelligent" people send $10,000 dollars over seas to someone that they absolutely have no idea whether they exist or not, in order to help them retrieve some type of mysterious fortune. My understanding is that most of these lard heads live in the United States.
And get this, my wholesome minded friend, after finding out that they have been tricked, fooled, and bamboozled these so called intelligent Americans have turned around and sent $10,000 more until their bank accounts are depleated, according to guests of Oprah's program. So you should be able to forgive my sickness because I was just unaware that it was so many of you normally thinking, gullible, characters in this country.
I guess I need to try harder to become more like those that you and others are fond of calling "the majority" who think a certain way in the Simpson matter. I wonder how I might qualify, maybe if I just hauled off and sent
$10, 000 to some flim flam artist in Nigeria you and the Weezer might be willing to accept me into your party.

I think there is good reason to require authentication of documents and tangible things or people could just produce things that have been altered and made to look like something they are not, look at what the Government tells us about the JFK assassination film and the UFO films.
I don't understand this mindset to simply assume that police and prosecutors would not manipulate alleged prima facie evidence, especially in L.A. Here's a justice system, L.A. County, that required U.S. Justice Department oversight and supervision after the Simpson trial had long ended because of their proclivity to plant evidence and convict thousands of innocent victims during the Rampart scandal.
Again, how do these characters simply ignore that fact? They could admittedly plant evidence on thousands of innocent people, and send them to prison without an after thought, but NOT O.J. SIMPSON! He's the only one that they would not have planted evidence on. Right!!!!

Wm, I could normally agree with you but when the L.A. Police Precinct, Rampart, scandal broke it was all over the news media in 2000, even CNN reported that the California legislature had to convene an emergency session to quickly pass legislation to prevent an impending disaster of thousands of innocent men filing multi-million dollar personal injury lawsuits that could have literally bankrupted the state, while these innocent men walked out of the prison gates of San Quentin in droves.
An unnecessary, unwarranted, and unjust disaster placed upon the backs of the taxpayers of California, and certainly L.A. County and promulgated for years by those in L.A. County who are hired to protect and to serve.

Rampart was also about le taking drugs from dealers and reselling them to other drug dealers. LAPD was also accused in the killing of Biggy Smalls by his mother.
This criminal activity came to light with Rampart but it had been going on long before the scandal became public. Even though the Justics department
too charge of the management of lapd because of corruption some people will still deny that any of this was true.
What this tells us is that some in lapd did frame many people and many innocent people did go to jail as a result and it did not take the whole department to accomplish these crimes.imo

However, being raised where I was, I was aware of rampant LE corruption. It was not hard for me to believe. I think it was hard for others. Years ago, I had a talk with some younger Whites after hearing them make remarks about Blacks migrating here and taking jobs. They were raised in the suburbs. I asked them had they heard of slavery and they said no. I asked them had they seen Roots and they said their parents would not let them watch it. Whether they were telling the truth or not I will never know but it was obvious to me that they were oblivious to certain things.

i think that some people in sterile communities read about horror police stories in other neighborhoods but since it did not involve their group , they are not concerned.
When ramport was discussed here there were people that actually stated that this happened after ojs case. Totally ignoring that rampart had a long history. imo that was again because le was not framing people in their communities but only in black areas so it was of no concern to them.

OJ Simpson transferred from Vegas to Nevada prison
By KEN RITTER – 15 hours ago
LAS VEGAS (AP) — O.J. Simpson was transferred Monday from jail to a Nevada state prison to begin serving nine to 33 years for his felony convictions in a gunpoint confrontation with two sports memorabilia dealers, a state corrections official said.
Simpson, 61, arrived at High Desert State Prison in Indian Springs, Department of Corrections spokeswoman Suzanne Pardee said. The all-male medium security prison, about 45 miles northwest of Las Vegas, has 3,000 beds and serves as the intake center for all new southern Nevada prison inmates.
"It went as expected," said Simpson lawyer Yale Galanter, who said he knew Simpson had been due to be moved sometime this week from the Clark County jail. "We're actually expecting that he'll be assigned to one of the southern Nevada prisons."
Simpson trial co-defendant Clarence "C.J." Stewart remained Monday at the Clark County Detention Center, jail records showed.
Stewart, 54, received 7 1/2 to 27 years when he and Simpson were sentenced Friday on 10 charges by Judge Jackie Glass in Las Vegas.
A Clark County District Court jury found the two men guilty Oct. 3 of 12 charges, including kidnapping, armed robbery, assault with a deadly weapon, burglary and conspiracy in the Sept. 13, 2007, confrontation. The judge dismissed two felony coercion charges at sentencing.
Simpson, Stewart and four former co-defendants were accused of robbing two memorabilia dealers at gunpoint in a cramped room at the Palace Station casino hotel.
Simpson insisted he only wanted to retrieve items that he said had been stolen from him in the years after he was acquitted of murder in the 1994 slayings of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend Ronald Goldman in Los Angeles.
The four former co-defendants — Michael McClinton, Walter Alexander, Charles Cashmore and Charles Ehrlich — face sentencing Tuesday morning before Glass. Each pleaded guilty to reduced felony charges and testified against Simpson and Stewart in return for a chance at probation instead of prison.
McClinton faces up to 11 years for robbery and conspiracy to commit robbery. Alexander faces up to six years for conspiracy to commit robbery, but received a promise that prosecutors would argue for a suspended sentence. Ehrlich faces up to five years for attempted burglary and attempted accessory to robbery. Cashmore faces up to five years for accessory to robbery.
State prisons chief Howard Skolnik has said Simpson and Stewart would spend their first 21 days in prison undergoing inmate intake evaluations before they are assigned to a prison to serve their sentences.
For those three weeks, the daily routine is mostly boredom, Skolnik said. Inmates are allowed five hours a day outside their cells, and no mail or parcel deliveries. Only their lawyers may visit.

PRESS RELEASE
O.J. Simpson Stars in New Shocking and Surreal Hidden Camera Comedy DVD
America's New Guilty Pleasure Has Finally Arrived: Get Prepared to Get 'Juiced!'
Last update: 8:27 a.m. EST Dec. 5, 2008
LOS ANGELES, Dec 05, 2008 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- The verdict is in: Reality television in America is about to get a new celebrity face and it is like nothing you have ever seen before! "The Juice" is on the loose ... Again!
As one of the most recognizable figures in American pop culture and perhaps the most notorious celebrity of all time, O.J. Simpson is best known for his roles as one of the greatest NFL Hall of Fame players ever, an infamous freeway driver, and as the epicenter of the most prolific murder trial in U.S. history which captured the attention of the entire world. Now, GetJuiced.com is proud to present O.J. as you have never seen him before (or ever thought you would!) in the new, exclusive, action-packed, controversial and totally uncensored DVD "Juiced".
The "must-see" DVD spectacle of the year, which will certainly be one of the most talked about and controversial reality programs ever produced, "Juiced" is a 90-minute candid camera extravaganza that will have everyone in the country repeating the catch-phrase "You've Been Juiced!" Every segment contains jaw-dropping hidden-camera stunts and outrageous practical jokes performed by O.J. himself on unsuspecting real-life people all across America.
"Juiced" puts O.J. back in the spotlight, delivering shock, amazement, and surreal excitement with every role he plays. "Juiced" mixes the most outrageous and recognizable spoofs of popular reality TV with O.J.'s outrageous personality and rarely seen sense of humor, resulting in unbelievable reactions from everyone he comes in contact. For example, an unctuous used car salesman trying to peddle an infamous white Bronco with an "authentic" bullet-hole touting the vehicle's "escapability" feature to prospective buyers. Witness O.J. Simpson caught "cheating" with another man's fiancee in a seedy motel before a confrontation ensues, resulting in a heart- pounding domestic disturbance that will leave you breathless! Or a strangely familiar street bum who tries to make an extra dollar aggressively cleaning automobile windshields. O.J. even stars in "**** Juice" as a "gangsta" rapper holding ruthless auditions for his new hit song "Get Juiced" at a sex-crazed strip club. The final edit music video of this controversial, hard-hitting and powerful rap filmed with "DJ Juice" surrounded by half-naked burlesque dancers is included in the Special Deluxe Edition "Juiced" DVD.
And if that's not enough, getting "served" takes on a whole new meaning as both laughs and wrong orders are handed out as "McJuice" works the "drive- thru" window of a fast food restaurant (no, you won't want fries with that)! Next, imagine opening your door expecting your usual pizza delivery guy and instead finding a very familiar face with your half-eaten order -- who then tries to steal your change. Or arriving on the Las Vegas strip and being serenaded by the "Juice" dressed as Elvis Presley -- with his "mini-Elvis" midget sidekick!
Reality gets even more twisted as O.J. is a real estate agent's worst nightmare who sabotages an open house, and in the mix we meet some very unusual and "eye-popping" neighbors. Bouncing to the other extreme we see O.J. and a nine-iron dealing with the Paparazzi during an extraordinary golf game, as well as another hilarious, albeit uncomfortable sequence, as O.J. is secretly disguised as an elderly, foul-mouthed, Caucasian bingo caller at a senior center!
"'Juiced' is America's new guilty pleasure and will have everyone talking. We were shocked to see O.J. film these uncensored segments and surreal scenarios. From the moment you put 'Juiced' into your DVD player and press 'play', the footage will keep you glued to the screen. You won't believe your eyes," says Rick Mahr, President & CEO of Xtreme Entertainment Group (XEG), the exclusive distributor of "Juiced".
Available for the first time ever, the new "Juiced" DVD includes not only the controversial rap video "Get Juiced" performed by O.J., but also shocking bonus features, special surprises, uncut outtakes, and stunning behind-the- scenes footage. "Juiced" is truly a must-see that gives you the most revealing access ever into O.J. Simpson more than 14 years after his infamous murder trial and now his newest criminal charges in Las Vegas.
The uncensored DVD version of "Juiced" will be available soon for just $19.95 at www.GetJuiced.com.
"JUICED" is truly a must-see video experience that gives you the most revealing access ever into O.J. Simpson through shocking bonus features, special surprises, uncut outtakes, and stunning behind the scenes footage. Has "Juiced" taken reality TV too far? The jury is still out, but one thing is for certain: It will never be the same again! "The Juice" is on the loose ... Again - and it's all caught on camera!

Jeff Simon: The O.J. aura runs its course
By Jeff Simon
News Arts Editor
Robert Kardashian was 59 when he died in 2003. There is a whole generation now that, if it knows him at all, knows him distantly as the sire of a reality TV show family featuring daughter Kim, the TMZ sex tape diva and anatomically implausible contestant on “Dancing with the Stars.”
To me, Kardashian was the most remarkable figure in the whole O. J. Simpson trial. And the reason he was so unforgettable has been hiding in plain sight for 13 years.
Remember that Kardashian was the Simpson friend who carried O. J.’s possibly incriminating bag after the football star flew back to L. A. from Chicago; Kardashian was the one who read O. J.’s “suicide” note to the cameras when O. J. took his slo-mo Bronco ride with Al Cowlings rather than turn himself in.
Kardashian, to me, is the star of the most frequently played film clip of the past two decades. He is standing right in front of O. J. while the off-camera court clerk, nervously fumbling Simpson’s full name, reads the original trial verdict of “not guilty” to the world.
My eyes lock on Kardashian every time it’s replayed. At that second, with “not guilty” still barely trailing from the clerk’s lips, these are the reactions: O. J. beams in heartfelt gratitude at the jury; a joyous Johnny Cochran slams a big, avuncular, congratulatory “We did it!” paw on O. J.’s shoulder; and Kardashian’s eyes widen, and his jaw literally drops as he turns around to the case’s principals with an expression that clearly says, “My God, do you believe THAT?”
I don’t think there’s an actor on earth good enough to mimic that utterly spontaneous expression of utterly ill-concealed astonishment from one of the very few people in the world who was probably privy to the facts from the beginning.
When, in a book, Kardashian later “confessed” to “doubts” about O. J.’s innocence, it was perhaps the most monumentally unnecessary redundancy in the whole case. His opinion of the verdict has been staring us in the face for 13 years, every time that clip is run. . .
The original case is almost as dead as Robert Kardashian."

Well, the original case is dead, unless they continue to investigate and come up with someone, other than Simpson, to charge for the murders. In anticipation, now you did not make the comment but that did not stop you from redacting it. Karma, revenge, hatred.

"Galanter and Bryson said they intend to appeal their clients' convictions. But they postponed plans to file notices of appeal Friday, after Glass asked them attend a Tuesday morning restitution hearing concerning the items stolen from memorabilia peddlers Bruce Fromong and Alfred Beardsley.
The hearing will coincide with sentencings for four former co-defendants in the case who took plea deals and testified against Simpson and Stewart. Michael McClinton, Charles Cashmore, Walter Alexander and Charles Ehrlich each could get probation or prison time. McClinton could get up to 11 years; the others face less."

Okay, I have explained that I do not agree with victim bashing, and that included members of their families (in case tv dinner is lurking, I do not mean that they are victims of the crime) as well as Simpson's family. What caused me to join were the negative posts about the criminal jury. I am not going to rehash who did what and will say that Martin gets as good as he puts out. For a while I thought the board was going to change but entered one and it soon went back to the status quo. When I say I don't condone such things they are meant for all, who engage in them, including me. We are all human and make mistakes. Granted some more often than others. Some just want to inflame and bait and when they make racial posts I take the bait. There is an effort to want me to stop after the racial posts have been made and I respond. As for one, I have not yet begun to fight. I don't consider them as hits and, yes, I like you or I would not have asked you to try the friendship thing.

Sickness? You should see a doctor.
Doc Johnson told me that there was no cure for the madness. Take two aspirin and go lay down. While resting I just listened to some more absurdity coming from the Clark County D.A. talking about how he offered Simpson a deal to mitigate the additional madness of not only allowing Riccio to go free but now all of the other gun toting defendants.
My god! It's so unbelievable! The madness is just unprecedented!
My country tis of thee, sweet land of liberty! Of thee I sing!
The only doctor that could possibly explain the level of madness in this country is Dr. Suesse.

This caught my eye. Do you know at all what's in it? To me that's what would determine any relevance. If say his file is just thick with stuff like multiple DWI's, traffic violations, shoplifting, ect ... then I'm not sure why that matters.
If it's filled with more serious and ominous things that could show a possible connection having to do with his murder then I'd be all for opening it up and having a look.

Do you know at all what's in it?
No, I don't know what's in it.
I functioned as the debriefing officer for the day at OMIG and took notes.
Doc Johnson's brother came back to the OMIG office on 10/25/2000 in L.A. from a frustrating investigative day at the Malibu Municipal Court House where Goldman's file, 91C00362 The People v. Ronald Lyle Goldman is kept. This was the 2nd day he drove out there. The 1st day clerks lied and said the case file no longer existed and was destroyed in 1996. He asked to see the case file because Goldman's docket sheet showed he had run up $16 thousand dollars in arrest warrants on 91C00362, an otherwise light weight misdemeanor traffic case, by failing to show up for arraignment for 3 years.
What they didn't know was that he had already arranged to have it pulled by another clerk who was out to lunch. He returned to L.A. called her and she said that it had been removed and put in an unusual place. He had her put it on her desk and returned the 2nd day. She wasn't at her desk, so he gave the case file number and asked another window clerk to retrieve it from her desk.
He described it, (6 inches) and the problem the clerk employee had trying to slide it through the 2 inch customer service window. He described how he was treated by clerk office employees who opened it and noticed the file had confidential stamped inside when they buzzed him into an ante room next to the customer service windows to hand the file through an open window. We prepared certified letters to 4 judges who handled the case file for 91C00362.
Three months later Johnson's brother returned and was told that the file was protected by CAL. Gov't Code 6254(f).
Another OMIG investigator finally received a letter from the LAPD stating that the Goldman file was protected from public examination by 6254(f).
If say his file is just thick with stuff like multiple DWI's, traffic violations, shoplifting, ect ... then I'm not sure why that matters.
Our position at OMIG is that all criminal information is public information, several of our staff have performed background checks for the government and many other clients that must show due diligence in checking one's background before granting employment, i.e. pedophiles wanting employment at daycare centers, embezzlers looking for bank teller positions, etc. Therefore there should be no reason for obstructing access to Goldman's criminal file certainly now that he is deceased. The fact that 6254(f) is used to protect the criminal records of confidential informants or "snitches" only exacerbates the justification for their refusal, imo.
We, OMIG, believe in doing our due diligence so regardless of whether it may only contain petit misdemeanors under the provisions of the Cal. Public Documents Act we'd like to exercise or right to see it so that we don't have to make presumptive statements which have become so commonplace regarding the whole Simpson matter.

O.J. Simpson was transferred Monday from jail to a Nevada state prison to begin serving nine to 33 years for his felony convictions in a gunpoint confrontation with two sports memorabilia dealers, a state corrections official said. . .

". . .I was teaching at the University of Southern California at the time that O J Simpson was its star running back, and I remember those heroic days when the young man seemed unstoppable, spirited, gifted. . .
My wish for Simpson is that he rediscover, in the time of his imprisonment, the dedication that characterized his power on the football field. I have read that he has gained popularity among his fellow-prisoners by buying candy to pass out to them. Wrong. He's misguided if he thinks that rehabilitation has to do with popularity. It was this false sense of himself, in my judgment, that set him off on the wrong path in the first place. No, if he's ever to redeem himself as a man, he must first acknowledge some unpalatable truths about himself and drop the false protestations and pretenses that have clearly served him badly until now. He must accept unqualified responsibility for his actions, and cease claiming innocence as he continued to do most recently in court.
That done, and honestly done, this man must find within himself the source of some act of service to which he can dedicate himself without thought for profit, popularity or advancement and into which he can channel the energy of what remains of his life. Perhaps then this sad remnant of what was once a hero would stand to recover his profoundly misunderstood manhood as well as his lost soul. . ."

Although I believe Simpson is guilty of killing Nicole and Ron and I was shocked as all get out when the verdict was read it has nothing to do with his current situation.
There's no way to excuse away OJ's behavior and his actions in this situation. It's on hotel video and tape recorded via cell phone. He orchastrated/robbed/and told his coherts - no one's to leave this room. He should be held accountable for those actions. Does his sentence reflect those criminal actions? I don't know? Although I do know, I don't agree with the fact that his coherts got lighter sentences/probabtion and believe they should be held accountable and receive the same sentence he did. IMO/JMO.

From what little I know about Judge Judie, she only deals with small claims court issues sensationalized on TV, so your point is what regarding Judge Judie? Not sure thats a fair assessment on your part regarding this circus, other than saying you think the judge in this case should be compared to Judge Judie? You're so bad. :punch:

I believe 'no body leaves the room" was a stretch and the prosecution overcharged on kidnapping especially since Asportation was ignored by the judge. The prosecution can always use the strick standard of the law or something less. Here they used the strick reading because their motive was to overcharge.
The fact that all the others got probation for their lies just shows the unfairness of the judge and the prosecution in this case. These probations did not give the people of Nevada justice.imo

I get that it's supposed to be a matter of public record, I'm just asking why it would matter if the criminal charges he's got are things like drunk driving or traffic violations-would you consider those things related to his murder? I do know he had bench warrants for failing to appear in court on traffic violations.
If I recall, there was discussion about the protection code that you're talking about and and that code protects more than just files on informants/snitches. I'll look it up.

I've noticed over the years that a lot of men don't like Judge Judy because they feel threatened by a strong woman and it seems now that the same thing is happening with Judge Jackie Glass.

Oh, I see, strong woman are obnoxious. How equable of you. :)
Again you misunderstand. A strong woman displays her strength in ways that are not obnoxious and remains classy throughout. I don't want to start a debate on politics. Did you see the interview with the Obama's in their home, when the President Elect claimed that he would miss washing dishes, because he found it soothing? She looked at him and asked in a polite but forceful way, not downing him, when did you ever find do dishes soothing. When asked about what she would do, he had the sense to say he would leave that up to her but wanted her to assist the children in the transition. I forget but she took over the conversation saying basically that she was capable of multi-tasking in a polite but forceful way. I guess what I am saying is tht she was able to be strong while giving due homage to her position.

She sentenced him, presided over the trial, will explain retribution and may be overturned on appeal.

No, I don't misunderstand. It's okay if a woman is strong as long as she behaves in a lady like manner while men have the freedom to be openly strong and obnoxious also if they please. Now we know why that glass ceiling you and martin are so fond of talking about is in place.

I see you missed the part where I addressed the obnoxious behavior of men. I don't think there is a law against being obnoxious but I don't like it whether they are male or female. :) H***, I don't see it but I know I mentioned Judge Joe Brown.
