Paedophiles able to be helped or not?

:shrug: Okay so here is the thing, Paedophiles are said to be unable to be helped mentally due to the conditioning that was established at childhood.
My question is why can't a paedophile undergo extreme brainwashing with subliminal messages that show harming children is wrong? Do you think it would work to reduce recidivism?

I think so. The mind is not as concrete as some would think. It is very subject to change especally in childhood. One could change the ways given enough time, effort, and the help of loved ones.
