How good is this? We can all get together and talk just about anything we like.

Poor yourself a cup of tea, coffee or whatever takes your fancy, sink into our large soft Genuine Leather lounges, and start nattering.

Hi there, Dallas:seeya: Here comes Sprockett and Athena. Concerto is always entertaining.

Wonderful, our own Crime Library Club Rooms!!! Waiter service available, daily newspapers, Crimes and books to dicuss, talk about anything we like, have a joke, a laugh then take an Asprin and have good ly down.

Dallas, don't you think the detailing on the Ceiling Cornices is just divine? Do you like the old world Burgundy Coloured drapes? It's just so classy and swish. Dontcha think? Oh, Concerto, there's even a Stienway piano. The only things missing are cigars, smoking jackets and slippers.

It's, oh, so elite.

Freshly cut flowers every day. Daphne and Gardenia. Oprah couldn't do better than this.

When we're more settled and cosy we could always send her and Gayle a Velvet Covered, Gold embossed, invitation with our Crime Library Membership insignia on the cover. Now, they're two people who know how to have a good old natter. What do you all think? The more the merrier?

Excuse me waiter! Could I have some Freshwater, please? You know, that water we just flew in from the French Alps. Wonderful, thankyou.

Now, you were saying, Dallas?......................Excuse me, Dallas, while I just adjust my silk embroided cushion. Right! Done! What were you saying, again .................................................. .............................................

Dallllaasss, it was you I was talking to when I was admiring the ceiling cornices. You even nodded. Do you mean you weren't listening to me? Hmmmmm. Well, I nevah.

You, dear Dallas, have your own chair, with an engraved gold plate on the back of your chair. What do you mean I didn't save you a chair? You have your own chair, for goodness sake. Gosh, there's no pleasin' some people.

Oh, well, Mishell, Dallas often has her head stuck in a book. Don't worry. She often says mmmmmmm just to shut you up. She doesn't hear a word you say. You have to say, DALLAS have I got your attention? If you say that, she'll prick up her ears.

There you go, Mishell, you have Dallas' attention. Dallas you're so funny, you're eyes are all glazed over. Did you have a little nip of something before you came? Dallas, tell Mishell about how you really love Crime. She reads Crime all the time. That's what we all have in common, dontcha know, we are all wantabe murderers, but we just don't have the guts to do it. Dontcha agree?

Mmmmmmm, you've never contemplated commiting a murder? No, I suppose I haven't really either. You're right, Mishell. It's very interesting this Crime Detective stuff isn't it? .......................

Aren't those Crime Library slippers just the most comfortable you've ever had your teeny weeny lil feet in?

They're so stylish. Prada couldn't make slippers as well.

It's that, Royal Blue. A very rich colour. The gold Crime Library insignia just looks soooooo stunning. I know it's an extravagance, but I always knew that Crime Library weren't cheap. Every member at Crime Library has their own personalised slippers.

I really love the way the Butler opens the heavy Mahogony door with a homey nod, saying "welcome to your Crime Library Club". Then presents us with our slippers. No tip, required. Isn't that just the best? I told you, Crime Library has spared no expense.

Why don't you come over here, Mishell? Sit near the double glazed, sash windows. You can watch the passing parade over here. Lots of eye candy passin' by. Oh, whilst we're talking about candy, there are small dishes of sweets for all to enjoy. Would you like some? I'll just summon the waiter. Aren't they delissshus? Mmmmm.

Yep, the first 48 hours are the most important when a homicide or a missing person in logged.

I don't know, Dallas, maybe Mishell got mugged on the way home. Ya see, she didn't know that we have our own personalised slippers, right here at our club door.

There are many scenarios. She could have been mugged, murdered, kidnapped, people traded, the list of variables goes on. We are after all in the Crime Library Members Club. Oh, my heart is beating faster with every possible grizzly image.

Heck, Dallas, wait, just a minute, that's her over there. Sittting next to the window, looking  I mean oggling the passing eye candy.

Gosh, Dallas, you had me going then. It would be an awful embarassment to the other Members if we were the ones who cried wolf. We'd have had to give our Gold name engraved chairs back, together with our official membership card. It'd be like a cop handing back his gun and badge. The shame would be unthinkable. The loss of our best friends would be tantamount to being banned on Court TV messageboard. One could never comprehend the loss. To go to your computer, log in, only to find you can't gain access. Oh the devestation. Searching madly for any hint of redemption. Only to find that when you go into the members list the word most feared on any messageboarders screen appears. dah duh dah dah BANNED.

We must make it our oath, never, ever, to jump to conclusions. I never want to leave my dear friends here. I shall die here first, slumped in my CL genuine leather chair, decomposing, skeletalising, looking like Norman Bates mother before I leave a one of my friends from here, behind.

Hey, Mishell, you had us worried there for a bit ....................................

I'm thinkin' what you're thinkin' kid (James Cagney voice). May be this club is too exclusive.

Everybody needs to know they can talk about anything on this Discussion Forum.

Here's a general question, Dallas. What's your view on amphibean creatures?

What is your favourite colour?

What type of Ice cream do you like best?

Wait, oh, at least 24 hours and some of the other members shall be along, gradually. Some have been here for absolute centuries. The ol' zimmer frames are made outta wood. Very collectable. Every time an ol' member trips it's a race for the collectable. Oh, I forgot, and also to pick them up.

:read: I'm interested in the drowning of those young males in LaCrosse, Wisconsin.

No one will yet say after 8 deaths by drowning that there may be a serial killer on the loose.

I believe there is. So, I kind of keep an eye on the progress there.

 Thanks Canadian Bum. So you like Frogs? I must say I don't mind me some Frog myself. I know many. There just like people really, we've had our own Crime suspects over a period of time. One Frog just got done for Frogicide. Well maybe frogslaughter. I'm not quite certain. The taddies have been reading all about it.

You'll probably get to read all about it if you're a Member of Crime Library. A very unique case indeed. By the way, aren't the slippers just so plush and comfortable? Mine had to be adjusted just slightly, I have rather wide feet.

Isn't it just lovely how Mishell, has had the fireplace commissioned for the very first time. Oh, I don't think I'll ever go back to my pad. What more could anyone want? * relaxed sigh* Friends here all day just to hang out with, warm fire, cosy furniture, you're own personalised chairs and slippers, newspapers everyday, and our own Library. As much food as you can drink or eat; and a very nice Butler to serve it all up.

The security is marvellous. Freshwater, on tap all day. Why would anyone possibly want to leave here? Ahhhhhhhh. Oooooopps, tell me I'm not dreamin'.

I actually have 3 parrots...Basil, the blue & gold is 31 years old...and he talks...he is quite a character...his favorite phrase? Shut up! He says that to Byron and Elvis when they start screeching and squawking...Elvis (10 years old) is a Congo African Grey...excellent talker...never shuts up...and the funny thing is, he sounds like me...he fools my husband sometimes! And Byron (25 years old) is a Green Cheeked Amazon...probably the noisiest of the 3...

They make us laugh every day...and all so beautiful...

Yes, Athena. Thankyou. We needed a place to go to talk about things other than Crime. A chance to get to know one another.

That's what gave me the idea to dream up a virtual club room. I hope you like my decorations; and the little extras like monogrammed slippers and engraved names on chairs. Very swish. Only, what I think Crime Library Members deserve. Only the best.

It was your dream. I only created a word picture. Well done, Athena.

I sit in that chair, and its just so comfy I start doing the head bob, and I certainly don't want to snore and interrupt your discussions!!
Jeeves can't topple over I grew quite a fondness for him! I'll prop him against something, I'll find it, I just don't know what I can use yet. STAY STABLE JEEVES!

So you wanna know about me? I'm 23, female of course hahaha, (i dont know why I found that funny) I live in New England, I'm a secret forensic/profiling ADDICT, which I should have went to school for but I didn't (and I dont know why) And now I run my dads forklift company, and check out crimes online all day!! HOW EXCITING!
I have a doggy who I absolutely love, he's 10 1/2 and gets to accompany me at work all day, man am I living the life or what!?

Please do share some of your details with us ! We can be like real people!! lol only if you feel comfortable of course!

You had me on the 'food'. :seeya: Morning everyone!

Since we are sharing details... Here is some about me...
I'm 22 female. Living in Southern Georgia. Currently working as a Front Desk Clerk but hopefully soon switching to a Distribution Center. I have 2 Parakeets and 1 Chinese Water Dragon and 1 cat that is currently with my mom and we will be getting her soon! Can't take being away from my baby girl. Me and my fiancee watch alot of Court TV and another channel that shows nothing but crimes on there as well. We also both like reading about old and new cases.

Now I am curious I have never heard of a chinese water dragon is it as exotic as our froggie? I am a self confessed cybernet sleuth and if I had the time I would love to turn this into a fullblown obsession:biggrin: . I am a devoted mum because I share the honour along with the majority of other mothers in having the best son in the world, now all I need is to find his pause button and things couldn't be better.

Yes my water dragon is exotic.. Although Froggy here is more exotic I would have to say. My water dragon mainly likes to climb on the screen of the top of the aquarium and hang there and walk on it. She's got her own personality and loves to wave at us when we're watching TV and loves being rubbed on her back. She's a little too small for us to bring her out of the aquarium right now though. We've only had her for about 5 months and she's growing fast though. Here soon we need to get her a bigger aquarium so she can grow bigger.

Hi Froggy!

Just wanted to say you're created a wonderful place here...Nice and friendly and the service is fantastic!
Thanks so much...

Yeah Australia is beuatiful but I'm not so sure about our accents? I don't really get time to watch movies I'm more of a book person and combine that with the net and it doesn't leave to much time for any other hobbies.
Big footie night in Australia 'The State of Origin" and the only night each year I really get into the game so have to go and get loud and obscenely intoxicated.

Now here's someone with excellent taste, love some if your offering. Here's a weird story I read in the news today and thought I would share.:D

Emu's Euro police chase ends in tragedy

Friday May 25 06:37 AEST
A mystery emu has been shot dead after a cross-border chase by police in Europe this week.
The Australian native fauna was first spotted in the German town of Grenzach-Wyhlen near the Swiss border.
"We are trying to find out how it got here in the first place," a German police spokesman said.
"No bird farms or zoos in the area say they are missing an emu. It is a mystery."
http://ninemsn.com.au/9msnshared/images/space.gifPolice tried to capture the emu, but it dashed away, prompting an international operation involving both German and Swiss police.
The police gave chase in patrol cars for hours but were no match for the agile fugitive, which darted down narrow alleyways and made tight turns.
Vets and staff from local zoos were called in to help, before the German police called upon their Swiss counterparts.
The emu was clocked at speeds up to 50 km/h, with police resorting to roadblocks, while the vets were unsuccessful in their attempts to sedate the bird with tranquiliser darts.
Finally a group of local hunters were called in, and shot the emu dead.
"Basel is a larger place than Grenzach-Wyhlen, and they had more officers available to help in the hunt for the emu," the German police spokesman said.
"In the end though it was still not enough and we had to shoot the bird."

Remember our Veterans........those living and those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for the love of their country.:patriot:

OMG! I have two more days of this. lol I am so stuffed right now that I can hardly move. Hubby took me out for dinner and dancing

Tomorrow we are having a big fish fry. Monday at our home we are having a huge cookout and I am cooking Low Country Boil, Smoked Ham, Chicken, Pork ribs plus all the trimmings.

Monday morning there will be a special breakfast put on by organizations such as the VFW and American Legion to honor Veterans on their special day.

Enjoy your weekend everyone but please be safe.:seeya:

One thing I have learned about you, is that you do your best to make those around you feel comfortable, cared for, loved, and well fed!

Thank You for your kind words. I do like to keep people happy and comfortable and I have never met many people or animals that I didn't like. The feeding is no problem because I really enjoy it. And yes I use coffee in my 'red eye gravy' that and the drippings from the sizzling ham, a dash of pepper and water to thin. Might sound yucky to some but don't knock it till you try it lol.
Canadian Bum, you know you have always been one of my favorite posters especially with that wonderful near to my heart avatar. Thanks for all you do.

Absolutely! Just come on over Trish. We would love to have you. Believe me with all the food we will have one more wont make a difference for us to feed. lol We Southern cooks do love to put on quite a spread of scrumptious food.:D

My hubby, brother and son erected at red, white and blue tent shelter in our backyard today. We have 8 veterans coming tomorrow and they will be placed at a special table all their own. We are giving them American Flag pins and pins from the military branch which they proudly served in. Also our grandchildren have made them cards of appreciation and we have included a photo/frame of them in their military uniforms.:patriot: So it should be a wonderful day filled with warm hospitality, good food and a whole lot of love.

Hope your weekend is going well.:seeya:

Tomb of the Unknown Soldier

1. How many steps does the guard take during his walk across the
tomb of the Unknowns and why?
21 steps. It alludes to the twenty-one gun salute, which is the
highest honor given any military or foreign dignitary.

2. How long does he hesitate after his about face to begin his
return walk and why?

21 seconds for the same reason as answer number 1

3. Why are his gloves wet?

His gloves are moistened to prevent his losing his grip on the
rifle.

4. Does he carry his rifle on the same shoulder all the time
and if not, why not?

He carries the rifle on the shoulder away from the tomb.
After his march across the path, he executes an about face
and moves the rifle to the outside shoulder.

5. How often are the guards changed?

Guards are changed every thirty minutes,
twenty-four hours a day, 365 days a year.

6. What are the physical traits of the guard limited to?

For a person to apply for guard duty at the tomb, he must be
between 5' 10" and 6' 2" tall and his waist size cannot exceed 30." Other
requirements of the Guard: They must commit 2 years of life to guard the
tomb, live in a barracks under the tomb, and cannot drink any alcohol on
or off duty for the rest of their lives. They cannot swear in public for the
rest of their lives and cannot disgrace the uniform {fighting} or the tomb in
any way. After two years, the guard is given a wreath pin that is worn on
their lapel signifying they served as guard of the tomb. There are only
400 presently worn. The guard must obey these rules for the rest of their
lives or give up the wreath pin.

The shoes are specially made with very thick soles to keep the heat
and cold from their feet. There are metal heel plates that extend to the
top of the shoe in order to make the loud click as they come to a halt.
There are no wrinkles, folds or lint on the uniform. Guards dress for duty
in front of a full-length mirror.

The first six months of duty a guard cannot talk to anyone, nor
watch TV. All off duty time is spent studying the 175 notable people laid
to rest in Arlington National Cemetery. A guard must memorize who they are
and where they are interred. Among the notables are: President Taft, Joe
E. Lewis {the boxer} and Medal of Honor winner Audie Murphy, {the most
decorated soldier of WWII} of Hollywood fame.

Every guard spends five hours a day getting his uniforms ready for
guard duty.

In 2003 as Hurricane Isabelle was approaching Washington, DC, our
US Senate/House took 2 days off with anticipation of the storm. On the ABC
evening news, it was reported that because of the dangers from the
hurricane, the military members assigned the duty of guarding the Tomb of
the Unknown Soldier were given permission to suspend the assignment. They
respectfully declined the offer, "No way, Sir!" Soaked to the skin,
marching in the pelting rain of a tropical storm, they said that guarding
the Tomb was not just an assignment, it was the highest honor that can be
afforded to a serviceperson. The tomb has been patrolled continuously,
24/7, since 1930.

God Bless and keep them.

My hello is to the entire room and my welcome is to been there, I feel I have been there and everywhere else this week! Been There you and I have some things in common also. I love most of the true crime shows and cold cases are dear to my heart, it is like a ray of hope that still lingers even after most have given up. Why can't our missing person cases me as easily found as the shows on CSI? And the trials has quickly done as the tv shows? And of course with TV we don't have to feel the anquish in the hearts of the family of the missing. I have my heart wrapped up in the Tara Grinstead case and will have until the family has closure.

Anyway what is on the menu for the Lounge today? I am hungry and don't want to cook lol. So I will be over in a few to share the goodies at the lounge. Don't let Paula eat all the veggies before I get there!! Somebody earlier mentioned those little fish egg thingys, sorry I have a country sense of taste and those do not make my taste buds happy. But hey just to sit in a comfy chair in my rag slippers and chat with friends would be food enough for my weary soul.

Hello Kate, I am self appointed party director and I need a full list of your personal likes and dislikes, in refreshment that is. I would hate to serve you those expensive little fish eggy thangs when you might prefer the black eye pea salsa dip. And oh think of the shame if I should serve the wrong things to our new guest!!! They could report me to the "Paula Deen Southern Hospitality and Guest Appreciation Society For the Betterment Of Bringing The North and The South Together Under Food and Lively Conversation" Oh the shame that would bring to my me and my family!!! All because I served you eggy thangs instead of black eye pea salsa! Paula is a stickler for rules and she would be just mean enough under that sweet smile and twinkling eyes to oust me right our of the Society, she is a tad bit jealous because some of my recipes are so much better than hers. Oh let me go now Canadian Bum is having a fit for more biscuits and gravy. Oh I wish I had known, I would have done something to make your time less miserable. I have had my share of sitting and waiting in hospitals and it is a useless feeling. You want to do something or have them do something and it seems all you do is wait.
I am a Southern Praying Granny so you and yours will be in my prayers, I don't even have to know your name because God knows.
I happen to have a bit of caviar set aside for special times and I see you are in need of special treatment now soooooooooooo:

Imagine a soft buttery linen table cloth, a centerpiece of multi colored roses in a silver vase, an antique silver tray filled with toast soldiers (which are strips of toasted whole wheat bread) now dab the end with sour cream, creme fraiche or mascarpone cheese. Top the cheese with a bit of caviar. Now a sparkling flute of bubble champagne to please your senses. ENJOY my friend you DESERVE it.

Oh, no eggy thangs please!

Because my family had a butler named Jeeves you might guess that things like beluga caviar were appetizer staples in my family. At this point in my life I would rather sit back with a plate of cold chicken and a beer.

Can you serve me that please? Pretty please with sugar on top? Oh, and with some pineapple upside down cake on the side!

Honey mustard ... yum!

I smell the cake cooking right now; can't wait to have the first bite.

It's one of those days ... do you ever listen to the thought process of another human being and be so astounded that you can only sit in awe and wonder "what the hell just happened"?

That's me today. So I took the day off work and I am currently sitting in my biggest most loose t-shirt with my bare toes tucked under me in a very bright blue fuzzy chair with my cup of coffee. Soon I plan on retiring to the tub for a nice and relaxing bubble bath.

It's so nice to surround myself with kind people! :) :rose:

Hey you guys can send that rain to South Georgia!!! Pa~leeeeese. We farm and until Friday night we had been irrigating to finish planting our crops, we were irrigating pasture land so our cows could graze. We are extra thoughtful of irrigating because we personally like to go to the facet and get a drink of water, and if irrigation goes on willy nilly it could come to the point we will have no water in our deep wells. County Living is wonderful but it is also very scary.
we had no rainfall in something like 69 days until the 2 inches Friday.

LOL just thought Jimmy Buffett sang "I will play for Gumbo" Well "I will cook for rain".

If I could, I would send it right along to you with a beautiful rainbow following close behind!

My friend Robert farms as well. He's having issues with his corn this year because the ground was frozen and when it finally unfroze the rain came non-stop and made it too wet for planting so he got a very late start. He's very concerned that the corn won't germinate!

Kate,
I do have apathy for all farmers and not just because we farm. The farmers are the backbone of our country because they make the wheat to make our biscuits and the milk that our butter comes from.

I live in a small rural community in South Ga. and tonight we are meeting at an old oak tree which is a local landmark. We are going to pray for rain and Thank God for that we have gotten, I will be sure and mention our farmers that are having the problems like your friend. I know this might sound pagan but we are Southern Baptist and we believe in what we pray for. Not being a holy roller here (as I have been accused of on another board) but I do Believe.

We are all in this together and I am human and on these dry hot days I have enjoyed the pool and being 'near bout' drowned by my wonderful 5 year old granddaughter. But I will add that Sat. morning when we woke to the sound of rain I played in it with her and was so thankful.

Gacountry,

I totally understand...you know I am a south Georgia girl...and I was raised on a pecan farm...pecan trees as far as you could see in every direction...I remember my Daddy praying for rain to come, worried that the wells would go dry if too much water was used for irrigating the trees. But if he didn't irrigate, there wouldn't be much of a crop. So what do you do? We all loved to eat back then, too...So we prayed, the whole church prayed...true Southern Baptists...for rain...and God's blessings...

And thanks for putting a smile on my face...I can just imagine you and your granddaughter playing in the rain...what a lovely thought...oh, the joy to be found in mud puddles! Brings back many happy childhood memories...

Trish :)

Maybaby is still bugging me about what to serve for a party of 1000 and oh well Just get me your list before I make any major mistakes.

How nice to sit back in my fluffy slippers and I've noticed you guys haven't hidden my eyesore of a couch for a while! It really is the most comfortable chair. My son and I were out playing in the rain yesterday, we are in drought over here so it is so great to jump in the puddles but I think we need a bit more yet to fill up the dams. :seeya: Take care all!!! Thanks for the kind thoughts.:rose: Be warned Kate, once you start eating the wonderful food GA dishes up you won't be able to stop.

There is nothing wrong with praying and believing!

I grew up in a very wealthy, fast paced community where no one seemed too grateful for the things they had. I was lucky enough to be raised by parents who at least took the time to make certain that I was aware that I was fortunate and they taught me to always believe that a Higher Power made things possible.

I'm not traditional in the sense of religion; in fact I don't belong to one. But I do have a tremendous amount of FAITH and belief in a Power much greater than myself.

Wow, I can't believe that I managed to even write this without coffee yet this morning. In general it is a rule that I don't even speak until I have my first cup.

It's long so I let him have a look until he told me he was just checking to see if I maybe had got some grey hairs while I'd been away LOL! I think he might be on to something though may be time to bring the old hair dye out.

I'm actually laughing right now because my family's butler Jeeves was this tiny little man ... the most adorable looking little old man you've ever seen ... and he would always try to look fierce and as though he meant business but he never quite succeeded because he was just too sweet.

I think I cried for months after he passed away.

I love It!! My 5 year old granddaughter has this thing about age and dying. She and I are extremely close and she was playing with me the other day and out of the blue she said "granny you are getting old are you going to die? Well I went into telling her I was a young Granny and not to worry about stuff like that, Thought I had done a good job with that UNTIL she said " But Granny you have wrinkles". Well I thought about this and knew the perfect answer I said " but sweetie when you see a wrinkle it once was a smile", I felt real good about that one UNTIL she said "But Granny do your legs smile?" I just laughed my head plum off and just enjoyed the moment. She is my lifeline she keeps me young even if I do have wrinkles LOL.

Of course! Every one of us should dedicate a day to ourselves and support one another in relaxing, laughing, pampering, and eating ridiculous amounts of junk food:)

Why the pity party though? Everything okay?

Oh my goodness ya'll are just too nice!!! I just used that as reference to poor ole' pitiful me "I deserve a day of indulgence". So I invited my Granddaughter for girls day out. We ate pizza, went junk shopping, joined the summer readers library program then went out for ice cream. Had a health thingy going on with hubby...He finished treatment for breast cancer at the end of March...and then had a routine MRI done by his neurologist around the 1st of May and it showed something on his spine...So, back to the oncologist for a PET scan to see if the cancer had come back...But, many prayers were answered and we have been told that he is cancer free!!
We are so thankful that he is doing so well...Glad I was missed, but I am happy to be back...

Trish :)

P.S....Have you lit a candle for Tara today? :rose:

Truly Glad For Yall. I will keep yall in my prayers.:rose:
And yes my candles are lite, but thanks for the reminder anyway : )

Hi Trish!

I'm sorry to hear about your DH, but so glad to hear he is now cancer free!

I will keep him in my thoughts and prayers and ask the Lord to keep him in good health. Many blessings should be yours as you are a kind and thoughtful person.

May God bless and protect your DH, and of course, you too dear.

Good Morning all, I will condense this post down for everyone LOL, I am still a bit lazy today. To Maybaby, bless you and your hubby's heart, I am so glad to know things are better but we all still need to remember to lift one another up and be there for support for each other.

Now to my other lounging buddies, wheee ain't life grand here? Don't cha just feel the love? I went back to my favorite, NO scratch that, the forum that holds my heart the Tara Grinstead forum, and the attitude there is still so thick I can't bring myself to post. I will be here for Tara till the end but that board is beyond me~~or maybe I am beyond it.

We have received some much needed rain and now the humidity is through the roof, ahhhhhhhh but wait this is South Georgia this is how we are suppose to be! I have been trying to think of a special treat today to tempt your taste buds but the only thing I could think of that would not get me in trouble with Jeevers was (now here is where you close your eyes and let your senses take over):
Home made Vanilla Bean Ice Cream served with old fashion Tea Cakes. I will begin dishing this up around 3 PM so everyone drop by for a dish of heaven.

Hmmmmmmmmm....smell those fat little buttery tea cakes just browning away....now listen for the churning sound of the ice cream churns, I decided to do three just in case we really want to indulge. I skipped the veggies and the meat at lunch just ate the rolls and the chocolate cake. I wanted to be ready for this sinful afternoon meeting of the minds, and the flashing of the silver spoons as they dip like hummingbirds into the creamy vanilla bean homemade ice cream. I can hardly wait!!!!

The diet our friend left is a winner I can vouch for it! It is the mainstay of my daily living and I am so happy! LOL. My doctor is appalled and my undertaken is on standby but I am so happy.

LOL :seeya:

Just send me the office name, location and main instigator of your problems. I will send my red neck mafia to your aid, they will drive up on John Deere tractors, Big rig Trucks, and four wheelers. They are awesome. I had what I thought to be a threat a few weeks ago, these neighbor men guarded me, my house and my granddaughter around the clock for like 2 days. They found my problem stemmed from an unhappy teen seeking attention~~~oh man he did not want the attention they gave him! They also did a great job of keeping my hubby in tow during this time too, he was fit to be tied when he saw the note, and he made the call to these 'good ole' boys' all I had to do was feedum.

Why it is a shame and disgrace for your silly work not to allow Crime Library service during your work day. They should also have to put your work 'on hold' when the discussions are good.

Goodmorning, top of the world to you.
Dallasvic thank you for the recipes. I was wanting a good vanilla recipe. Sure i can add beans but i wanted a nice plain vanilla one. I am going to try that today. And sure, would love to have the oreo one too. I recieved a KRUPS ice cream maker as a gift. I can't believe how easy it is to make ice cream now, cuz, I remember how i made it back in home ec class in school. lol. It was peach and when i tasted homemade peach, i was in heaven. I think i will add almonds to this batch of vanilla tho.
Mishell, love the way you have to have your frosting match the cake. Bling Bling cupcakes. I totally agree, pints = pity parties. And if I am not depressed when I open that pint of rockyroad, I will be, as I have to justify eating that whole pint in one sitting!

Have to take a moment to pop in and share with you guys;

My job and entire life has seemed ludicrously hectic these days and I've never really been away to anyplace "country" and "woodsy" so my girlfriend Sadie suggested that I go away to her family's cabin for the weekend, which is on a lake.

OMG you guys, it's amazing! I just popped in to share how I was hanging out on the dock with a strawberry lemonade, dangling my feet in the lake water. The water is clear and still and the sun is just beginning to go down and it's casting the most beautiful reflections across the water. You can hear the birds and the ducks, and see the neighbors starting bonfires.

Oooooh, I am so relaxed and at peace. I have to get ready now to roast marshmallows and make something called a "s'more". Can you believe that I've never had one?

Love to ALL OF YOU and a million thanks for being my friends!!!!!

Have to take a moment to pop in and share with you guys;

Kate

Good Morning to my bestiest friend and trouble solvers. I have been so busy and have messed you guys beyond measure. Whomever made this little bit of sanity in a world of chaos need the Nobel Peace Award!!! Yesterday I was so busy but just stuck my head into the board that tugs at my heart, within minutes I was called a liar and was told this person disliked me and hoped to never see me again and on and on. What hostility and you know what the families of these victims we campaign for endures so very much more PLUS their child is gone. It is a sad sack of events,

But~~~
I can come here kick my feet up with good friends and good food and forget for a bit the turmoils just a page away. I thank you guys for letting me hang out with ya'll.

Sunday morning, Sunday School, Church then most of church is coming to my house to celebrate my 'Daughter~In~Love's' birthday. Menu is Smoked Turkey Breast, Smoked Beef Rump Roast, fresh string beans, fresh squash, fresh butterbeans, corn on the cob, lawered green salad, strawberry vinegrate salad (this is soooooo good) Baby honeyed carots, Homemade yeast rolls and decorated buttercream birthday cake. Homemade icecream in the afternoon by the pool.

Gotta go lots to do ~~OH~~~and you all are invited!

Hugs and Luv,
Gac

I was infuriated! than I come here and talk to you all andits such a good aura! nothings better than good company, good food, and some gooood drinks!
