What's everyone up to this weekend?

I am sorry Debby. Can you do something with a friend? Like go to lunch or a movie or shopping? Or do it alone. I have gone out alone numerous times. sometimes you even meet nice strangers. I know this hurts but hopefully it will get better. Maybe there is a way to incorporate both religions. I do not know much about Muslim. I will keep checking the board if you want to chat.

im sitting here absolutely appalled after reading about a girl who was from the same town as me in london who was murdered and dismembered and tossed away in a suitcase by a 'friend' while she was in brazil. He confessed to police but get this....he filmed himself on his mobile chopping up her body and grinning...im just disgusted and upset. I guess it caught my eye because she was only 17 and even though I didnt know her she was from the same town. Where do these monsters come from?!!!

hi debby, thought id say hi and introduce myself-im judi:) havent been here long but love it when i get a chance to come on and read and post:) I read your post about your kids, hope things are going ok for you. If I had advice I would say try and think of 2 or 3 things you cant get to do notmally because you have to look after the kids and then try do them:) I dont have kids but im sure normal stuff you once were able to do freely kinda goes out the window!!

He is a real character. He is the only hamster we have had that does not escape! My youngest accidentally left the cage open. He stayed!!
He has a multi story cage the girls bought for him. He lives in luxury and is spoilt!

I really do miss the kids though. Having said that I am having quite a good rest. I have had cystitis and been up most of the night. At least I know I can rest today if I want to.

Kids are very hard but when they are not there its this unbearable silence!

I think I am anxious because my ex has has recently remarried. He is Muslim and so is new wife. (I am Christian - sometimes!)
Apparently she has bought the girls a lot of Islamic gifts.
My ex is against Christianity and I worry about brainwashing etc....

My middle daughter is coming back tomorrow as she has made the excuse of a lot of homework. I know she doesn't go back until September but she is sitting several music exams.

Hey maybaby!! lovely to see your message thank you:) hows things with you? married life is great thank you! just busy! my husband is finding it quite tough looking for work, he has only just got his work permit so im trying to help him get sorted and working at the same time so its hard. Its hard for him being an american and just upping and moving to London but im helping to get him on the right track anyway and his mum sends us care packages!! haha she sent him biscuits and gravy mixes hehe he just LOVES that and i do too. she also sent Kool-aid i LOVE that soo much but it has so much sugar (oops) that and mamwich i think in a tin, never heard of it but i guess you know what it is! he also misses miracle whip but im not sure what that is either sounds kinda funny to me! hehe:) so yeah! what have you been up to?

I only have 2 then I drink regular coffee!
Everyone in my office drinks mineral water!

Also I have to confess sometimes I buy a double express, triple strength!

Sometimes the expresso machine forgets to give me sugar! So I feel I am so sophisticated drinking an expresso without sugar!!!!!

I did hear rain 4-8 inches and possible 10" and that tornados would be involved. I do not remember tornados and hurricanes coming at the same time but who knows. the Weather has been so weird this year. I hope you are safe and do not have to leave WarmNCozy. Thanks for the update.

And I hate the snow here but my husband will not move. His parents,3sisters and their familys live in the area. Which I understand. May I ask why you moved there?

You get RAIN! That wet stuff that falls from the sky? Don't complain. We are in the worst drought for 100 years. Our local dams are less than 10% capacity. Bores are pulling water faster than it can be replenished.

I can't use a hose to water my garden. It's been illegal for the last 2 years.
We can't wash cars, water lawns, water gardens, wash houses. Every bit of water we can save we do.

Please send it our way. We desperately need it.

Joseph I can handle the rain but not with with a hurricane attached to it. Fay has been hitting Florida for a few days and she's not done. The damage and distruction she could do. Rain does not bother me and I love a good thunderstorm but not a hurricane or tornado which this storm seems to be bringing.
