A very good morning to everyone! Yummy, FDInLaw, that is my all-time favorite breakfast. I gots to have my protein. I've been "down" literally with back spasms. Actually slept on the floor for part of last night. The pain is about a 20+!:eek: I'm scheduled for another epidural on Thursday. I sure hope it will help. It's been three years since I've needed one THIS badly. Sorry to complain! Just have to get some of this pain off my back, pun intended!:(

Hi CB, Sara, and lynn. Thanks so much for your concerns and well wishes. I'm "better", thank goodness. At least I slept last night. :)

I'm going to see if hubby can scan a photo of one of our new (4-mos old) grandsons. That sure will brighten up the day. Wait until you see it. It's a very unusual pose! Of course, he's "one" of the reasons for the back spasms, LOL He weighed in at 15 lbs 7 oz last week and I'm not supposed to lift anything over ten pounds. :eek: But who could resist!?

Hello to all my friends here, and welcome back Judi. I hope you accomplished a lot with your wedding plans during your week off. A week "sounds" like a long time but I know there's just SO much to do! :rose:

Well guys, we left the house just after 6:00 and had to make a stop at the Health Department in yet another town to get the WIC coupons for our grandson's formula. That went really fast so I made it to the doctor in Pensacola right on time. BTW, it's not Demerol they gave me to "relax", it's Valium (just as GOOD!), LOL The epidural went beautifully and I barely even felt a thing. I have to return on June 4th for another one on the other side of the lumbar spine. Afterwards we went to Olive Garden for their all you can eat soup, salad, and breadsticks. I was FAMISHED since I couldn't eat anything prior to the procedure. I'm not generally a very big eater, but I had three bowls of salad, two bowls of soup, and one breadstick and a large unsweet icea tea. The food was AWESOME! The soup du jour was chicken and gnocci with spinach. Hmmm, HMM!

Thanks to everyone here for all of your well-wishes. Now I'm just tired from having to get up so early and because we had such a long day. We didn't get home until nearly 5:00. I'll talk to you again tomorrow. Good night all! :rose:

I've been out of the loop for a while with so many th ings going on in rl, plus my daughter had to use our computer over the holiday weekend since her modem went out and she's a full-time student on-line. The on-line courses/instructors don't take ANYTHING for an excuse for not getting work in on time. Besides, I'm sure they've heard all the excuses students can come up with so I doubt they would even BELIEVE that her modem went out, lol

I'm still working on my husband to scan and post our little grandson's picture for you guys to see. He's been so busy too and just hasn't had a chance. Tonight we are going to be dining on fresh snapper which our oldest son caught the other night. I'll do the cooking and we'll all do the eating! They also caught several sharks (for eating). He caught the biggest one weighing in at 50 lbs.

I hope to be able to post a little more regularly, but even if you don't see me here, please know that I miss you guys. :rose:

I'm still working on my husband to scan and post our little grandson's picture for you guys to see. He's been so busy too and just hasn't had a chance. Tonight we are going to be dining on fresh snapper which our oldest son caught the other night. I'll do the cooking and we'll all do the eating! They also caught several sharks (for eating). He caught the biggest one weighing in at 50 lbs.

I hope to be able to post a little more regularly, but even if you don't see me here, please know that I miss you guys. :rose:

P.S. BTW, the epidural is REALLY working! I am having almost total relief. I get the next one on the 4th and that will probably do it for me. Hurray!!! Nearly pain free and lovin' it!:seeya:

The on-line courses/instructors don't take ANYTHING for an excuse for not getting work in on time. Besides, I'm sure they've heard all the excuses students can come up with so I doubt they would even BELIEVE that her modem went out, lol

I had to re register as Gacountry2 since I had a problem with forgetting my password as gacountry, whom I am been since the beginning at CTV,and since I could get no help from Deepwater I had to reregister. I miss my old nic.
Anyway I wanted to tell everyone hello and I am delighted to see the Lounge in such good hands. I think the remarks about Rhett could be my doing. As you know I was and am still as gacountry Chief of the Lounge, but when we went to Sycamore I started the Lounge there at FreshWaters request. Well Jeevers was our Butler here and when we moved I thought I carried him with us LOL, Then when I realized yall were still active here and was using Jeevers so I just hired us a new Butler, Rhett. Hope this explains it a little.

Gac I don't blame you for wanting your old nic back. I was blocked from posting on must forums with no reason given and it was pretty frustrating. . . at one point I finally wrote and told the mods that I would be registering under a new nic if the situation was not resolved. It was in time. . . I had been blocked but no reason had been stated so he/she let me back in. Guess it all was a parting "gift" from FW lol. All this to say, keep writing and asking, hopefully in time it will be attended to.

I'm just going to be frank and state some things I believe strongly. . . a public message board is a community and if and when it revolves around one person there is trouble. At times, an individual may be needed to keep a thread going, but it should never become about them. I see Luke Davis doing a fine job of keeping Natalee's thread going as an example. As to this thread, you are right, the lounge is a special place for people to connect. Like Luke, I merely saw a need and stepped in. "Jeeves" in not me but a concept. . . one that should exist whether I post or not. I think FW missed this when she assumed that this board would not be here in her absence. If I haven't made it clear by my actions, let me state. . . I feel everyone should feel free to post as Jeeves. There is not a single one of us that can manage to be here every hour of every day. But the sprit of hospitality can be if we all work together. :patriot:

Hi dear friends. I just want to say I've missed you guys today. We are taking care of our 4-month old grandson, our 2-yr old grandson, and our 5-yr old granddaughter this week and next. Today my MIL and I and my granddaughter spent a girls' day out and we had a wonderful time. We shopped and ate and shopped and ate again. That's what "I" call a GREAT day! Hubby stayed at home with the boys. Tomorrow we have to do some miracle work. I'm having some teeth pulled and am getting my "new" ones (ouch), and the next day I am having the second epidural. We're not quite sure how this child-caring will go during those two procedures, lol BUT, I SHALL survive!!! (but will THEY?):chicken:

Sooooo, if you don't hear from me for a few days, you can probably figure out why!!! Keep me in your prayers (not because of the procedures either, lol):eek:

I did however break down and have decided to buy a new computer. The Dell I have now is 10 yrs old :shrug: I think It's time LOL. I'm looking at the Dell XPS 420 with a 22 inch HD display, a little pricy at 1,400 plus tax. The other model is Inspiron 530 Mini Tower for 899. A call to my son will decide. :D I doubt a new computer will help cause I only have the problems here. :shrug: Anyhew...it's all good! When things start running faster I'll be back!:)

I am not very computer savvy either but. I haad a 10 year old Dell to (they are great computers in my mind to last that long)Your computer may need to have some files deletedand you could scan and defrag. Lots of time that helps. My son told em about an external hard drive. I bought that (about 100.00 mine was on salle for 89.00)We did get a new computer but I am saving everything fromthe old computer to the external hard drive an now it is moving fast (of course)....worth a try:shrug: :shrug:

Good morning CB. :seeya: Sometimes if there's too many pictures or big pictures on a page it takes longer to load. I have dsl and noticed that this page hangs for few seconds longer and at the bottom it always says (1 item remaining) picture downloading http://www. crimexxx.....

When that happens try refreshing the page instead of waiting for it to finish loading to see if that helps.

Hi dear friends. I just want to say I've missed you guys today. We are taking care of our 4-month old grandson, our 2-yr old grandson, and our 5-yr old granddaughter this week and next. Today my MIL and I and my granddaughter spent a girls' day out and we had a wonderful time. We shopped and ate and shopped and ate again. That's what "I" call a GREAT day! Hubby stayed at home with the boys. Tomorrow we have to do some miracle work. I'm having some teeth pulled and am getting my "new" ones (ouch), and the next day I am having the second epidural. We're not quite sure how this child-caring will go during those two procedures, lol BUT, I SHALL survive!!! (but will THEY?):chicken:

Sooooo, if you don't hear from me for a few days, you can probably figure out why!!! Keep me in your prayers (not because of the procedures either, lol):eek:
