LOL, I was in a comic Beauty Contest once, a fund raiser thing, and my costume needed a spring hat~~~~~so I made one and but a bed spring on top with a bouquet of spring flowers coming out. I remember having Carmen Miranda cut out dolls when I was a kid. I detested cutting out those costumes - especially the hats that were always overloaded with fruit! The Malamute & the Red & White Husky Queen had their first quarrel (bloodless) yesterday morning. Somehow they seemed to agree on rules. They wouldn't take from each other's possession, but if they left their 'prize' no objection would be made. The blind Malmute tried to take the Queens septer from her posession. The Queen years earlier was in with an Alfa Male Husky. They had 'he said she said' arguments but no fights. A Malamute Female twice the size of the Alfa Husky, in the blink of an eye she was on four feet, and with the neck he took her a** over tea kettle onto her back. It happened at least twice as we both independently saw him do it. A 1000 frame per second camera would have been needed to capture it.

Happy Daze are here again! I put the new breaker in and the Spa works again. AKA

They are not 'quarrelsome' dogs. I knew exactly the moment he realized he was the Alfa dog. The Queen, by her personality & our treatment of her, he knows that she wouldn't back down. She is 14 this month and he is about 10 & blind. They have never had a problem cleaning stuff together. AKA :beer:

Heavens to Murgatroid! My day hasn't started well. It started snowing yesterday at noon & hasn't stopped. There was a train wreck in the barn last night. Stall door was kicked hard. The door was outside the roller, and a three inch piece out of the door where the eyebolts and dog bone was. It took some time & several trips to fix that. The dogs Vetsulin shot went really bad. Needle like hydro locked. Changed the needle but still went bad. TV & PC Satellite are having problems.

Living in a rural forested area, my first fear is fire, my second is being flooded. Living here 15 years my second fear came true today. The storms mentioned above, the basement & the barn were flooded. We are still draining so the totalaity of the damage is not yet known. This combination of storms has been totaly amazing on the Puget Sound area. Nothing in my total living years has me as low as I am right now. Bless You All! AKA

If it isn't too late to edit, you can go into Edit mode, then delete the message and just type that you posted in error. That will remove your personal info, at least.

Whenever you post on a thread and want to delete it then its easy to simply delete, they give you a certain amount of time to delete so maybe you can still do it?

Let the winter 'games' begin!

Good golly! I slid into work this morning - went out and cleaned off the car and the walk before I left and about 15 min. later it was covered again.... roads were very slickery! If I could stay inside and look out at it, I would love it - but, this old woman has to get out there 'amongst 'em' for a few more years and I don't like slippin' & slid'n to work - my bod isn't made of metal and it cringes at the thought of repairs.

All I can say is WOW Seashell!

Thanks for all the concerns & support. 10 inches of snow followed by a warm apx 10 inches of rain lamblasted the State. Highway 5 the main artery connection to Oregon & CA will not be open till Friday if then. An uncovered 30 gal garbage can was full to the brim with storm water. Amazing! Watching the water come up this week getting sick to my stomach. It was raining continuous hard rain. I just measured this morning. Right about 15 inches in the basement. I took care of things as well as I could. An Army of one was seriously short of manpower. I had to settle myself to probe into the damage. We have 2 freezers down there. The basement also two generators in there besides the washer & dryer. Lot's of collectable stuff is not in 'Mint' condition anymore. I am not sure what insurance will cover. Mrs. SO doesn't fly home till Friday. Then we can have 'Fun' together. AKA

I remember during the facist times of Franco it wasnt allowed and the risk if being jailed was always there, thank God for that! problem nowadays people here even the older women have lost some respect for themselves in that way, i detest seeing topless women and dont feel comfortable sitting on my towel and getting an eyefull everytime i look around believe me i am no prude but hell there has to be a limit of decency specially on beaches where families and children play and eat and socialize :shrug:

I'm in neither camp, I prefer to be clothed from top to bottom on a beach, however, I have never seen anything on any European beach that required going to jail for.

People come in different shapes and sizes. Nudist resorts generally don't have any "beautiful" people. They're just people hanging out who don't care to wear constricting clothes. Personally I live in a climate that is far too freaking cold much of the year to even consider it, however I have taken my bra off on the odd occasion generally late at night, especially when the girls were sick and tired of being confined. viva franco, he did a lot for this country, i am free to have my opinons hun, there were things he did that werent right but then again its another topic and yes he did rule with a heavy hand but then again so what? its in the past and i wish this topless stuff could be stopped!


as for the bared boobs, i and many other women dont like to see bouncing bared boobs on the beach here, i feel its a lack of manners to enforce on others something that makes me feel uncomfortable with you see with such a lot of freedom around us i for one draw a line at the places where it can be done, spain should follow some guidelines as to this practice.

The Laws on nudity are not always what you think they are. I found out in WA that it is not illegal to be nude in public. There was a nude bicycle ride. They arrested the first three & let everyone else go. It's legal to be nude in public here until somebody complains...

I hope I am not ostracized for being honest. :rose: I live on 10 1/2 very private wooded acres. Weather permitting I love walking around outside nude. I like to feel the love of the sun kissing my body, and the wind giving me her caresses. I wear a bonny hat so if by some weird chance someone happened where they don't belong I can immediately cover up. Clothes mask the sensations nature can provide. I feel free. I am not an exhibitionist. The sensations are not there inside, so I dress when I come in. No I wasn't raised like that. Last year I bought a Spa. I don't ever plan on being dressed in it. The cat, dogs & horses have never been ofended. AKA :biggrin:

there are some beaches here it is not allowed to go topless, am not bothered to google or search but i read the local papers here and i was pleasanlty suprised to learn this.

In Europe it's not illegal to be semi-nude on any beaches, and it's legal to be nude on many beaches.

Semi-nude = topless and well I think nude is explanatory in itself.

There are few nude beaches in the US, compared to Europe.

I guess it is my upbringing and the era that I grew up in; but I don't at all feel comfy with nudity or scantily dressed folks. I see it as modesty but I suppose some would consider me a prude (no, not prune!).

All of this is in their press releases so it’s not a secret. They actually told us that our community was not of interest to them or their new TruTV vision. It is really lousy. Their plan is to just pull the plug. Everyone has been pink slipped and CTVonline and Crime Library will be closed on 12/31.

update:
One of the reasons i havent been writing much on the Lounge is that i and some of my associattes have been battling with the local govt. to extend a permission that has been refused a renewal, this town is becoming like a ghost town due to the lack of quality tourism and also bad press due to corruption, if you want to learn more about it i will post a link, the culprits are in jail and still the court cases are going on.
Its been one of the biggest cases of public money stealing into the mayors pockets as well as her workers in office.
We here the owners of businesses are trying our hardest to not close down and to be honest i am starting to weaken as even my own resources are going to go down the drain in keeping my business afloat unless the new govt. gives us the renewal we need.
Wish me luck and hope that this new govt. is going to do a lot more to help us here or we the business owners are going to start calling the press as well as television programmes.

Just to fill you all in, if im not there at the opening right away. I have a surgery planned. They found precancerous cells on my cervix. :eek: I got the final results in today. I will be going in at the beginning of Jan. I'll keep u all informed. What a rough last few months of '07 its been.

While traveling through Canada an all the cold country trying to find our last members I found the man of my dreams! His beard is much better than Paula Deen's Micheal, and he has that round little belly that just shakes when I feed him Christmas goodies. And here is the big part HE IS MAN ENOUGH TO WEAR PINK! He likes fine furs and expensive soft leather this could be love, Now here is my problem I have found NO wife but there must be a million little pointy feet and head little people all dressed in green with jingle bells everywhere. Please tell me these aren't Santa's children yuck that is worse than rednecks. I do think I am in love I saw an entire huge space sled piled high with presents do you suspose they are all for mr?

OK, I know I have not been much fun the past few days lol.
I had a scare or a wake up call not sure which, I think it
was spending all CL's money on these trips and fine food.
Anyway I was having terrible pain in my chest and make
an unscheduled trip to the DR. thought it was a heart attack.
After lots of test the good news is I have a heart! The
better news it was not my heart, the bad news is I have
torn the cartlidge between two ribs and it is inflamed and
very painful. I am on some strong meds so I might not be
typing, or coughing, or breathing hard or having any fun for
a few days. I have several new books and I might even post
some but if not you guys know I am sleeping LOL, something
I have not been doing of late. I love all you guys and wish
you the Merriest of Christmas. I saw a sign at a church on my
fast trip to the hospital it said "All I want for Christmas is your
presence", so often we put our mind on presents at Christmas
and that is not what it is all about.
