Hello everyone, just joined tonight and am so pleased to be accepted onto your forum. I love reading crime books and have an interest in all true crime programmes. Morbid, perhaps ..... but I find it seriously unbelievable just how cruel humans can be sometimes. I latched onto this particular post because I just adored the gorgeous retriever 'Lady' I have a very pampered dog myself who looks very similar and I just love all animals. Food is only to energize the body. Bad food, bad energy. I know that fried foods can be very satisfying but my hips are unforgiving.

Seafood, eggs, wholegrain foods (including rice and pasta) beans, actually heal the body. LOL I could encourage you to eat raw onion rings but I doubt it would make you a popular friend, however from here I won't be able to tell the difference.

Go steamed clams. Throw the onions into a soup and call it dinner. Anything you can't pronounce from the package shouldn't be purchased. It's cheaper and healthier.

A recent study found that eggs are actually much healthier than previously expected. Eggs are great to use with so many things. Quiche, Egg Fu whateveryouwantitto be. Omelettes with mushrooms, cheese (even low fat), tomatoes. Heck eggs are the other beef but healthier and so much cheaper.

Let us know if you need recipes to get you more excited about what you ARE allowed to eat.

OK I don't cook Kosher..... anybody? LOL

Thanks!! He just had his 7th B'day on Tuesday November the 6th! We love him very much. He looks like he is all brawn and no brain but he is quite the opposite. He wipes his paws on the mat when they are muddy and then sits up with his front paws in the air to show you that they are clean!! We taught him that one when he was a pup. Taryn has taught him to add up one plus one and he does all the usual tricks like rolling over, playing dead and speaking on command. When the kids get home from school, they sit on the floor and he gives them a hug by putting his head on one shoulder and his paw on the other. He is a mummy's boy really coz I am with him 24/7 but he will hug anyone that is up for it. Most people are scared of him when they first see him but that impression only lasts for about two minutes lol. We have three Red Staffordshire Bull Terriers in our family...My brother has Kaskas sister Zahra and they have an older Male named Chief. I love the breed, they are such family dogs. I am in the process of contacting the breeder that I got Kaska from so I can put him to a nice black girl in order to get the biggest, reddest Male out of her litter. Can't let those genes go to waste haha. I know I go on about my animals but I love them to death! Cheers...:seeya:

Chicken, fresh, portions thereof, cooked it don't matter, use it for stock.

Chicken bouillon cubes in a pot of a gallon I use 6.
Worstershire sauce, add to taste
Bayleaves, about 4
Pepper, to taste
Nutmeg a good pinch
Salt to taste
Chopped celery, carrots, leeks
Chopped fresh coriander
Noodles or rice optional

I also add "Maggi" which may or may not be available in your area, it's a concentrated seasoning.

It has actually been proven in research (no I'm not going to provide a link) that chicken thighs provide us with the nutrients to overcome things like the flu and cold.

Oh I am so proud of you, don't want to put any pressure on you but You HAVE to do good. You see you are doing what all of us would like to do, SO your grades are our grades. And we are all pulling for you!

I am afraid I let my hair stay gray and my summer tan is gone, if I wore that beautiful shade of Candy Apple Red now I would look like walking lips! looking for an example and came across this, I do face paints and this would take days to complete!!! You made me laugh so hard, my side hurts! Revlon makes a couple of lipsticks that are OK for us Older Girls --- not as vibrant as the AV but don't make you look ancient and hard ... Sugar Poppy, Snowsilver Rose, and Poppysilk Red! And they are pearlized and have moisturizers to keep your lips soft looking!

OH no, lol, Cozy and I have this thing where we joke with one another lol. I was looking for the perfect man for her and all I could find in gifs etc. were to vulgar to post here. I would never disrespect Cozy she is one of my bestest friend. Np pizzing contest between us just lots of fun.
And I do have a very high opinion of men, my hubby and I have been married for 40 years and I love him with all my heart, can't tolerate some of his actions but he he thinks I do lol. My only child is a man and I love him, As a matter of fact I have more male friends than female. My daddy raised me and he was my heart so I was always around men, my mom worked, my dad was old enough to have retired when I was born.
Hope this helps you understand I have a very high respect for men and I love Cozy.

I made a pledge yesterday to not eat Turkey on Thanksgiving this year as a protest to the way they breed them. We are having salmon and lots of side dishes of great vegetables. Of course we are still doing the pumpkin and cherry pies!

Well, Jeeves looks like he has the right idea to me.
Also my daughter is into fitness and she says we all need to eat 6 SMALL meals each day and that distributes the calories better. I admit to having a hard time with that, because when I sit down to eat, I am accustomed to the 3 squares a day and I alwys make my plate too full.....like the one Jeeves has.:rolleyes:

EXCERPTS FROM A CAT'S DIARY

DAY 752 - My captors continue to taunt me with bizarre little dangling objects. They dine lavishly on fresh meat, while I am forced to eat dry cereal. The only thing that keeps me going is the hope of escape, and the mild satisfaction I get from ruining the occasional piece of furniture...Tomorrow I may eat another houseplant.
DAY 761 - Today my attempt to kill my captors by weaving around their feet while they were walking almost succeeded, must try this at the top of the stairs. In an attempt to disgust and repulse these vile oppressors,I once again induced myself to vomit on their favorite chair...must try this On their bed.
DAY 765 - Decapitated a mouse and brought them the headless body in attempt to make them aware of what I am capable of, and to try to strike fear into their hearts. They only cooed and condescended about what a good little cat I was... Not working according to plan.
DAY 768 - I am finally aware of how sadistic they are. For no good reason I was chosen for the water torture. This time however it included a burning foamy chemical called "shampoo." What sick minds could invent such a liquid. My only consolation is the piece of thumb still LODGED between my teeth.
DAY 771 - There was some sort of gathering of their accomplices. I was placed in solitary throughout the event, however, I could hear the noise and smell the foul odor of the glass tubes they call "beer." More importantly I overheard that my confinement was due to MY power of "allergies." Must learn what this is and how to use it to my advantage.
DAY 774 - I am convinced the other captives are flunkies and maybe snitches. The dog is routinely released and seems more than happy to return. He is obviously a half-wit. The bird on the other hand has got to be an informant, and he speaks with them regularly. I am certain he reports my activities. Due to his current placement in the metal room his safety is assured. But I can wait, it is only a matter of time...

You will be able to relate to this, I have not seen my Grand except my webcam in two weeks~~~she is coming to Granny's for the weekend, lol I am baking and doing girly girl things to get ready for her. Had to set her toys up to look like I had played with them all week LOL, she checks.

But I am having a salad and a small piece of baked chicken for dinner, an apple for late night snack~~~~and since I baked my birthday cake and have all the stuff out for my 5 year old Grand to decorate~~~~~a sliver of cake~~~OK darn it I know a sliver leads to a slab! But I am trying!

Tomorrow I might not be here a lot we are having a Civil War enactment at Jeff Davis State Park and I volunteer there Sooooo I will have to fight the battle all over again. It is going to be a biggie reported to be the largest enactment in South GA. Gonna take a lot of tea cakes to feed them rebels and yankees! I can stand the long dresses and bonnets this time of year BUT summer and all them thar clothes is terrible. I will have to eat lunch at the camp fire and that means non diet food BUT I always just make the appearance of eating some of that stuff is awful! I have once again conquered the demon that was controlling my life, and now it is time to get the body back where it belongs - for an old lady that is!!I'm a wee bit older then you Darling, but I need to get the extra pounds off my belly! The reason I help is the historic value of it. The Land that Jeff Davis Park
sits on was given by my GG uncle as a Monument to Jefferson Davis
whom he had served with in the War.

It is not just a southern thing, units from the North come down too, we have
campfires where history lessons are taught by both sides of how times were
and the authentic weapons and materials that were used in the early 1860's.

So I do it because I had family that died on both sides and pray that this
type brother against brother war will never happen again. I do it for the
History point of it and because it is so very much a part of my Genealogy
and I am really into Genealogy.

My family was not big slave owners and the ones that did have them they
had their own homes and some land provided by the family. They lived with the
families until they died not as slaves but as family.

I don't fly the Confederate flag and have even done enactments where
I was a Northern woman it is just the History of our Country, not Southern
not Northern Just our History and Genealogy.

church were talking about sending cards and now I have the address!
I will also give it to my Secret Sisters Group we are the Queen Bees of
Card sending. I do know we have packaged and sent 'care boxes' to
soldiers serving in our area. If anyone here has a relative serving or
disabled I think it would be nice to have their address and send cards.
We should aways remember and honor our soldiers, "all gave some, some
gave all".

I will be one that sends dozens of cards to these soldiers. It will be my good will for the holiday season. I will start Friday after Thanksgiving and send at least 6-12 cards a day. I have boxes and boxes of Christmas cards that I buy after the holidays and have done so for years. What a great thing to do for those wonderful soldiers.

In this case it is part of US History and cannot be rewritten and I personally was not offended but even the best of friends cannot discuss politics or religion without disagreeing because people see it differently. Hubby had booked the hotel which btw is a 5 star and is fab! :D
anyways i just needed this to cheer me up as i was feeling very depressed these past few days and well he has given me this suprise trip before i depart for London on thursday.

What a wonderful surprise!!!! Golly that man is a keeper! You enjoy your holiday, I was not kidding in the fact that I too need one badly. I have had
a bad case of depression the past week and it only seems to increase. I
have had lots of wonderful surprises and fun with my family and friends but
it is still like a dark cloud hanging over me. Please have some fun for me too
while you are on holiday.

I got into my car this morning, and they are playing Christmas music! It's not even Thanksgiving yet. They get earlier and earlier each year.

You will be able to relate to this, I have not seen my Grand except my webcam in two weeks~~~she is coming to Granny's for the weekend, lol I am baking and doing girly girl things to get ready for her. Had to set her toys up to look like I had played with them all week LOL, she checks.

But I am having a salad and a small piece of baked chicken for dinner, an apple for late night snack~~~~and since I baked my birthday cake and have all the stuff out for my 5 year old Grand to decorate~~~~~a sliver of cake~~~OK darn it I know a sliver leads to a slab! But I am trying!

Tomorrow I might not be here a lot we are having a Civil War enactment at Jeff Davis State Park and I volunteer there Sooooo I will have to fight the battle all over again. It is going to be a biggie reported to be the largest enactment in South GA. Gonna take a lot of tea cakes to feed them rebels and yankees! I can stand the long dresses and bonnets this time of year BUT summer and all them thar clothes is terrible. I will have to eat lunch at the camp fire and that means non diet food BUT I always just make the appearance of eating some of that stuff is awful! The picture is not my group but it looks like us lol.

I remember when my son called me from Oregon (he's not there anymore) to tell me they were expecting their first and how many weeks and I said, son, did you take time to get dressed before you called me? He laughed. Oh, how I love Grandparent-hood! The best role I've had in this life, so far! BTW, my son and his lovely wife now have 3 children, ranging in ages from 12-almost 1 yr.
