On April 5, 2007 a Washington U.S. District court after previously ordering a federal judgment against Court TV & FBI police psychic Noreen Renier, has gone further. After ordering that she breached a Florida state settlement with the publication of her 2005 psychic book titled A Mind for Murder, the federal court also awarded costs and fees to the skeptic writer who originally sued Renier in 1985.

The judgment against Renier and the costs now awarded to the skeptic are stunning coming after 22 years of legal battles between the two.

The total estimated costs and losses for Noreen Renier following the April 5th order now are estimated to top $110,000 --- after combining all legal fees and costs that she is responsible to cover for both parties of approximately $75,000 plus additional royalty and promotional costs from her cancelled book estimated at $35,000 through April 2007. Her book has also been banished by her publisher, Berkley/Penguin. For additional information please see www.amindformurder.com
