Police Search for runaway

Savannah-Chatham metro police are asking the public's help to locate Heather Nicole Wooten. Heather is a 16-year-old runaway who was dropped off at Windsor Forest High School on February 1. She has not returned home since.

While police have no evidence that Heather is the victim of a crime, they have not been able to locate her or produce any fruitful leads on her whereabouts. She is 5-feet-5, 120 pounds.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Heather is urged to call SCMPD's Special Victims Unit at 651-6742.

CrimeStoppers and its school-based affiliate Campus CrimeStoppers is offering a reward for information that leads to her whereabouts. The number to CrimeStoppers is 234-2020. A runaway pickup order for Heather is on file with law enforcement.
