Man Charged With Murder in Jackie Hartman Disappearance Case
Grand Jury indicts ex-con Jonathan Ian Burns despite lack of body

PHOENIX (Crime Library) — Although Jacquelan "Jackie" Hartman's body has not yet been found, authorities have charged the man they suspect of killing her with kidnapping and first-degree murder.
The Maricopa County Attorney's Office announced Friday that a grand jury indicted 25-year-old Jonathan Ian Burns, an ex-con who spent seven years in Arizona prisons, for abducting, sexually assaulting, and killing the 19-year-old nursing student. The indictment also included a weapons charge.
