Five injured in accident; driver charged with DUI

OSWEGO — Four Oswego teenagers died and five other people were injured Sunday when a car struck a utility pole on Route 31 north of Route 34 .

Eight of the nine victims attended Oswego High School. The ninth person, the driver of the vehicle, was Sandra Vasquez, 23, of Montgomery. She has been charged with drunken driving, police said.

$5 million bond! She is still in the hospital but they do have several charges. I wonder if they have determined her relationship to the kids yet. I thought I read one of the girls was searching for someone to drive her home, because she wanted to leave a party.
