My sister Elizabeth, was the first of three sisters to have a child. This child was Roxanne. She was so special to all of us. My Mother (Roxanne’s Grandmother) was so happy to become a grandmother in 1988. She was a special niece to me that would come stay with me on weekends and when I moved to Indiana, she visited with me several summers. . Now my mother has 10 grandchildren and Roxanne is who all of them looked up to. When looking back at pictures, Roxanne was always holding a baby in the pictures. She is a good girl and deserves a proper investigation. So my plea is to let city of Austin know that she will not be forgotten. :rose:

:punch: Hi to Everyone,
I just want to say " WOW "
I am so blown away by all the love and suport that is being given to Our Roxanne.
I feel now that others really understand and helping in trying to make sense of all this.
And the story that David Lohr did was excellent, gave me chills and then coming to the message board and reading all the post.
I wish Roxanne could see all this
God willing , she will...........
All my energy is focused on Roxanne coming home
Thank you to everyone and I mean everyone
Love Liz

Dear Lizzy,YOUR STORY & LOVE OF YOUR DAUGHTER HAVE BLOWN US ALL AWAY, because, although our names are different, we live in completly different zip codes,,,,,,,,,we all know or have "a Roxanne, tpye" daughter, younger sister, cousin,or friend,etc..................

and when I stopped to think OH MY GOD !!!!!!!!!!!! what if that had been
my child,my sister,etc. HORRIFYING THOUGHT...........
You deserve answers........Roxanne needs to be found.........you have my support.........

I noticed you used the John 15,quote........

I'm from the old-school & my Father has instilled this belief in me for 50+ yrs. now,............ and you truly have people here supporting you........

When I came to this site for Roxanne I know that I had so many questions and you both took the time to answer them. Even when you were busy trying to find your daughter you came to the message board and kept us up to date. Both of you took the time to help us with any questions we asked and it is our time to help your family! I don't understand what went wrong with this investigation but this boyfriend that can get thru to the Dective and Roxanne's Mother did not have that priviledge. The only thing that I can think of is maybe this guy is an informant in that neighborhood or he is kin to someone in LE that is the only thing to me that makes sense. I do want to tell you that just the other day a Sister that her brother was murdered said that they had to do their own investigation when LE didn't rule his death as a homicide and sent his records to a pathologist and he says it was murder so she got the case reopened and is fighting for Justice for her brother. The reason that I am telling you this story is because this Sister went to the Investigating Officer and asked to see the Interviews of the people that were interviewed. They told her they didn't have any to show her that they didn't interview anyone. The first thing I thought of was the Officer didn't say she couldn't see them he said they didn't have any. It is worth a shot to go up to the APD and ask to see the interviews. From this Sisters post it seemed like the family can ask to see the interviews. Is this true I don't know. However, I did check many other cases and the family were giving the information on the interviews and were giving information about the case. My advice is give it a shot! Go to the Police Chief and by pass the Investigators if you have to but at least give this new Detective a chance to share with what he has. Sharon Roacha, (I hope I spelled her name right), Lacy Peterson's Mom was given information from the Investigators and kept up to date from what I have read and there are so many to list who also received information from LE. I want to do so much for you because in every post that you write Lizzy and Aperry that it just breaks my heart. I just thought I might mention this to you to see if they were willing to let you see the interviews are get an update on the case on a schedule day like for example every Wednesay of every week to update you on the progress of Roxanne's case. Hang in there and know that alot of us care and really want to help you anyway that we can. Your love and dedication to Roxanne that you have shown will be the key into getting alot of people involved. How can we possibly sit back and ignore your plea for help in finding your daughter when through all your post touched our hearts and that is why I feel we just cannot fail in helping your family. God bless you and good luck! :rose:

I do hope you find answers! I cannot believe the lack of interest from the LE there! High crime area or not Roxanne is missing, and from what i have read it seems to me that commone sense she didn't run away!

Keep up the fight and know there are many out there who support you! Never give up hope!

Thank you, Lizzy and Audrey, for taking the time to come here to update us, posting through what is the most painful time of anyone's life. My heart breaks for all of you. God Bless you and your family.

Please keep going back to Law Enforcement, keep asking questions, keep reminding them, keep your attention focused on them and how they can further help you find Roxanne. Keep persevering. Never give up.

Thank you Freshwater and the CL Forum for rolling up your sleeves and helping this family get the answers they so desperately need regarding Roxanne.

Thanks to richandfamous, we have a way to contact Austin PD to inquire how the search for Roxanne is going, and to just let them know that there are those of us who want to find the truth. Sometimes squeaky wheels really do have a better chance of getting greased.

This should probably be on all the threads.

ITA FDInLaw,the pic is adorable. There she is,holding one and her arm over the other,Roxanne and the little clan. How they must miss their cousin, their sister, their leader, their protector. I bet she was all that to all them.
My heart goes out to each & everyone of them & Roxannes family. She is clearly loved and missed, IMO
