On TV right now (12/12/06) in Los Angeles is a mother who accidentally killed her child and claimed some how he mysteriously disappeared. Now she admits she accidentally killed him. Body found in a dumpster.

That's what one woman did. Was she affluent, high profile and a "pillar" of her community? Somehow I don't think so.

Of course every situation is different, that's a given. But if you start showing every single case of parental murder, I would bet they are all similar in simplicity of the cover up.

TWW, I wouldn't call the Ramsey's high profile... John may have been in the business world, but I had never heard of them and I am associated with the computer business. I had not heard of Patsy nor JB prior to the murder... they may have been high profile to Boulder, from what I've heard, though Boulder is a high class small town community... it isn't national.
