I guess that I am comparing her to my five year old, who has had to go to the doctor only three times in her life...not including well visits. Guess she is just lucky...IMO

My youngest daughter was sickly as she was born with TEF[esophageal birth defect] and I only wish she had been so healthy as Jonbenet. We had excellant insurance at the time and my wife would take her in to the doctor if she so much as sneezed; of course that was because of a predisposition to pnemonia because of the birth defect. My own reading on Jonbenet's records of going to the doctor as often as she did is that she had a doting mother and an excellant medical insurance policy.

Yeah, I just thought that visiting the doctor a total of 30 times in 6 years, was a little much for a healthy child. But, you are right...at least Patsy was concerned enough to take her....and it looks like alot of the visits were for sinus infections, or some other sort of cold or virus...theres only three times that she visited the dr. due to an injury. (IMO) I still would like to know why Patsy called the doctor three times in one day, on 12/17/96...it says for "unknown reasons". IMO

I know that in my daughter's case whenever she caught a cold or got a touch of flu it could easily go into pnemonia and my wife would have her into the doctor straightaway in the morning; on numerous occasions the doctor would give my wife his personal number to keep her condition updated through the day and night; in truth she could become very ill very quickly because of having a constructed esophagus. And I think sometimes it was to keep my wife reassured that everything was under control; truthfully there were days when three or more calls were made, sometimes our physician would call at 10 or 11PM to check on her. He had delivered her and was a caring person. So maybe it was just to reassure Patsy. Didn't Jonbenet have asthma; that would have been a good reason to make three calls.

If she had something to hide, why bring it to the doctors attention three times?

No, I didn't say that she had anything to hide...I was just wondering why she called him three times in one day. I would just like to know what the problem was, on that particular day. I know that she was sick when she was murdered, maybe that same sickness that she had then, is why Patsy called JB's dr. three times on that day...it was just nine days before she died. Theres nothing fishy about that...I was just curious as to what the illness was. (IMO)

Yes that definitely is lucky. Also depends on how many other children a child comes into contact with. Both of my children were in pre-school and I was always at the doctor's for one thing or another.
Even well-visits I hated because always seemed right after they came down with something from sitting in the waiting room with sick children. I used to cringe everytime I took them and they wanted to play with the toys with the other sick children.
I even got to the point to speak with the nurse to be allowed to enter through the back door and go right into an examination room to avoid the waiting room. Depending on how busy they were and if an examination room was available they did try to accomodate me as they agreed about well-visits and sicknesses occurring shortly thereafter. LOL

Maybe he had not returned her call?? Doctors also have rounds in hospitals and he may have been tied up and something about JBR concerned her and turned out to be nothing thus a no-visit.

Yes, I had thought that this could be the case, too. HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

I have read that when Fleet looked in the room where Jonbenet was found, he did not see anything because of the darkness; I have also read that the light switch was in an odd place, not right where you would expect normally. John Ramsey, being more familiar with where the lightswitch was, stepped in further to hit the switch and so saw her laying there. I think John took the tape off her mouth in the winecellar and carried her upstairs in a state of shock, her body was cold and rigid from rigor mortis. Fleet did not turn the light on when John was downstairs, John did.

then all of a sudden
(John finds Jonbenet in basement wine cellar) brings her up stairs, takes tape off puts her on floor starts CPR.
NOW!! Jon bennet aways at a Christmas party of the **flints** place? If he was such a good friend He would be looking EVERYWHERE!I surely would!
Is there something weird about that!
Now if she was almost still was partially alive and could know who put her down there...And I was the one who did it..I wouldn't go in there in fear she would recognize me..So just turn light on don't go in and hope someone else finds her there....
John must have thought she may have been alive to think CPR would resuscitate her....
**************************************************
I would be questioning why Flint did not go in there...
Possibly....
because of guilt?

JUST A THOUGHT!
Crimehunter your pretty new to all this huh? Make that Fleet not flint. And he did look in that room. He saw nothing. Remember also Fleet looked around 10 John found much later. And whoever placed her in that room .....knew she was DEAD. Not just real still. That just does not even make sense wome of where your trying to go with this. Finish the book read some archieved articles.....

Say! Did you notice in the time line......that Fleet likes to write letters!!!!!Why didn't they take a hand writing on him..Or even DNA?It does not say much about him in this time line..How well he knew the Ramsay's,where he worked..It did say they dropped the kids over to his place for a Christmas party and so they must have known fleet good enough to allow the kids over there period!....I also noted the time of how long it took for him to get to there place...Not much longer then when all the murder took place and patsy was sleeping and woke up to find that letter and when they called the flints a 3-4 hr ride there.something like that....and who knows what road conditions and traffic etc would make the time shorter or longer ride.
Something here sounds fishy! :(
Here is a point!
Statistics show crimes happen a lot by your Friends, someone you know and or neighbors.
Try getting something right here ok crimehunter. You can't hunt this crime by having Flint a 3-4 hour ride from the Ramsay House. 10 minutes tops. Crimes also happen by parents Crimehunter. Sad as it is. They did take Fleets handwiriting. Also the DNA The Ramseys also went over to the Whites for the party. They were best friends.
I would like to try to help you here but first I'd really like to know what your interest is in this crime. In one of your posts you
say Dad as though John were your Dad. Not JonBenet's dad where you also say Burke could be real messed up by all this later on. First I guess I'd like to know your age. Once that is determined maybe your age. I think to mispell Fleets name and the Ramseys name and have things so out sync on the whole deal I think you are either very young or just very new to this murder investigation information.

PSS! Go to hpp://www.Gripe all you want while watching yourself.com!;)
Actually my offer to help you learn some of the facts of the case was sincere. I was going to suggest some reading material and books that might help you. Help to provide links to some sites that are dedicated to this case. Fleet for instance lived only blocks away from the Ramseys house. I was curious about your age only for one reason There is one book that might not be suggested reading if you are younger. It would contain material I would not think age appropriate for anyone under 18 or so. The offer still stands. Think it over...if your truly interested in JonBenets murder there is a lot of information to be read on it.

[…]
SAWYER: But what about those reports that JonBenet's pediatrician, Dr Beuf, saw JonBenet 30 times in three years?
BEUF: Before your call, I sat down with her chart and counted. It was 27 times.
SAWYER: This is the first time Dr Beuf has gone over his records publicly.
And is that unusual to see a child that many times?
BEUF: Not with the kinds of problems which this child had. The majority of them were for sinus infections and for colds.
SAWYER: And by majority you mean?
BEUF: Probably 20 of the lot. I counted three in which she'd complained of some pain in urination. And the rest of them were cold, strep throats, sinus infections.
SAWYER: So many he said, there was some concern about asthma.
How many times did you give her a vaginal examination?
BEUF: Well, it was five or six times in that three year period.
SAWYER: We asked him to specifically review all notes that might pertain. He agreed, citing the frenzy of uninformed speculation. Be warned, these are a doctor's clinical notes about a young patient.
September 1993 a call about vaginal redness, possibly associated with recent diarrhea.
April 1994 a visit about a problem perhaps related to the use of bubble bath, which can be an irritant.
October 1994 a routine physical. No problems noted, though some indication of occasional bedwetting. Dr Beuf says 20 percent to 25 percent of children that age wet the bed.
March 1995 abdominal pain and fever. Tests and exam showed no problem.
August 1996another routine physical with a vaginal exam. The doctor said everything checked out as normal. We asked what he made of this number of complaints?
Would that be unusual?
BEUF: For a child that age, certainly not. They don't wipe themselves very well after they urinate. And it's something which usually is curable by having them take plain water baths or learning to wipe better. But if you have 4yo kids, you know how hard that is. The amount of vaginitis which I saw on the child was totally consistent with little girls her age.
SAWYER: If there had been an abrasion involving the hymen, you would have seen it?
BEUF: Probably. I can't say absolutely for sure because you don't do a speculum exam on a child that young at least unless it's under anesthesia.
SAWYER: Did you see in any of these examinations any sign of possible sexual abuse?
BEUF: No, and I certainly would have reported it to the social service people if I had. That's something that all of us in pediatrics are very acutely aware of.
SAWYER: And some other notes. Dr Beuf says he last saw JonBenet Ramsey in November 1996, and that was a checkup for a sinus infection. A couple of other things. Dr Beuf says he has turned in people he has suspected of physical and sexual abuse in his career, and that he not only looks for physical evidence, but personality changes in the children involved. And he says he saw none of that with JonBenet Ramsey. And PrimeTime consulted other pediatric experts about JonBenet's records, and they agreed with Dr Beuf's analysis that there was nothing unusual there for a girl her age. When we come back, we will take you to the Ramsey home.
